We were not going to leave this review however after the response we received we believe others should be aware. Note this review is mostly in regards to our second and last service with this salon, the first service was good. On our second service with Pride and Groom (I wish we knew the groomer name, it was a different one then our first visit) our dog was cut. She came home itching her one ear more than normal. When it didn't stop after 2 days we looked at her ear and found a big cut in the shape of a razor/auto trimmer. When we notified the salon of the injury we received a text back basically saying they are completely not responsible for the injury. No apology or anything. They went as far as to say it could be a hotspot or caused by the nail trim (which they acknowledge to not buffering and leaving the edges sharp). As someone who works with a rescue and sees cuts and hotspots on a daily basis I can assure you this is not the case. In addition to the fact that the shape of the cut matches perfectly to a trimmer. Due to the negligence of owning this injury/mistake we feel anyone who thinks of contacting this salon should be aware. Note: we were not asking the salon for any sort of refund and do acknowledge they are working on live animals so there is a chance for sudden movement to cause such an injury. We were simply notifying them and asking for ownership of the issue.

My dog after getting groomed at Pride-N-Groom.

I am really starting to like the level of care the staff is providing not only my dog but also to his owners. My dog is easily excitable, yet the staff at Pride-N-Groom have acclimated him to the point that he behaves himself with each visit. Very reasonable prices ($50 for a haircut, $5 to brush his teeth), the staff keeps the information given from my dog's last grooming appointment along with the groomer. I always request the same groomer, and she has produced really good results with each visit. It is very convenient to set an appointment with the staff, and even better to travel to this location now that this particular section of North Beach Street is open.

I have been using Pride-N-Groom for my shin ztu for a couple of years. The staff is friendly and groomers do a great job. I get a reminder call the day before our appointment and they go over their instructions for my pup to make sure I do t need to change something. They are efficient and call when my pup is done normally within a couple of hours. I find their pricing very competitive in this market. Thanks for taking care of my Xena.

My Peekapoo Loved visiting this establishment. The staff always treated her like a Queen in a princess body! Thank you All so very much, especially her favorite Groomer Krissy!!

Moved here about a year ago cold turkey from SoCal. I had a great groomer forever and really didn't know enough about the local area so I did the standard, took Cole to Petsmart. After spending a lot of money and never really being satisfied with the end product, time to move on. Decided to give Pride-N-Groom a shot since they're super close and locally owned. Big fan of small business so here we go..... Just got back from Cole's first appt and they did a great job. He's clean, he smells good and the haircut he got is legit! I'll be back in 6 weeks! Thanks guys!!

My yorkie has been going here for almost two years now and we couldn't be any happier! My yorkie absolutely hates groomers but whenever I come to pick her up she seems calm and content! They can quickly give you an appointment and your baby will be done in a few hours the most! When she comes back she looks absolutely beautiful with the cutest bows and bandanas!! They do a great job with the trim and wash! So happy to have found you guys after years and years after searching for a good groomer!!!

This place is awesome!! They are by far the best groomers in the area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and really love their job (and your pet). I've been using them for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. I bring in a dirty mop dog and I get a Champion show dog back every time. I would rate them 10 stars if I could to erase those one star haters out there. The only thing I would change is... NOTHING!!

We took our three dogs there and they did a great job! They were very good at listening to what we wanted. When we picked them up it wasn't exactly what we were wanting but they fixed them and took notes down for the next time. We are definitely taking them back here

I have a maltipoo and tried at least 4 different groomers in Keller. I was disappointed everytime. Finally a friend recommend this place and it will def be our last stop. Our maltipoo looked amazing and everyone was so friendly there!

Ethan!

They were able to get my dog in the same day, which was a huge plus. They did an amazing job! My dog looks so cute, and the haircut is exactly how I wanted it. It's usually really hard to find a groomer who gets his look just right, but they absolutely nailed it. Everyone was friendly, the process was easy, and you can tell they care about the dogs. I'll definitely be bringing him back and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great groomer!

first time writing a review but this is well needed. IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG, PLEASE THINK TWICE…read moreBEFORE BRINGING THEM HERE. I apologize for the long winded review. I have a mini poodle who is about a year old and has had approximately a dozen haircuts without ever experiencing an injury. I decided to try a new grooming salon, and unfortunately, I deeply regret that decision. After his appointment at The Groom Room, I noticed cuts around his private areas, and the tip of his private area appeared extremely red and inflamed. I was understandably concerned, especially because this had never happened after any of his previous grooming appointments. I called the very next day to express my concerns, and instead of taking them seriously, Gabrielle, the owner and groomer, immediately dismissed me and insisted that the injuries did not happen there. To be fair, I could not personally confirm exactly where his injuries occurred, but neither could Gabrielle or her employee. That is precisely why I sought a professional medical opinion rather than making assumptions. I took my dog to the veterinarian as soon as possible. After examining him, the vet provided a written statement documenting their findings and confirming my concerns regarding his injuries and infection. I returned to the salon with that documentation, hoping they would take the situation seriously. Instead, I was once again dismissed and treated disrespectfully as a paying customer. As a pet owner, it is incredibly upsetting to trust someone with your fur baby who cannot tell you what happened to them, only to feel that your concerns are being brushed aside when something goes wrong. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds to a customer's legitimate concerns speaks volumes about its professionalism and accountability. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that my dog has had wonderful experiences at his usual grooming salon, with no injuries whatsoever. I tried somewhere new, and this is the result. I will not be returning. I am sharing photos of his injuries, the veterinary documentation, and other customer reviews so that fellow pet owners can make an informed decision before trusting this business with their animals. Our pets depend on us to protect them, and they deserve to be treated with care, patience, and respect. I would never want another pet owner to experience the same stress and frustration I have experienced throughout this situation. Please do your research before booking an appointment here. I know I will never make the mistake of switching from a groomer I trust again.

The day care is set up perfectly for the dogs. They have places to play inside and outside, dog beds, plenty of spots to sit by themselves too if they don't want to play that day (I have one who sometimes wants to sit on the couch by herself most of the day). The girls get groomed here on their regular days which is super convenient since it takes something off our list of things to do. Plus, I have one dog who is scared of the clippers, but she already trusts Ms. Deborah so she's doing better with grooming. We have done several boarding visits too. I love that the girls don't have to spend time in crates when we are away. Neither of my dogs does well in a crate. I know they are safe, well cared for, and being loved while we are away. I can't relax worrying about my dogs- so I really appreciate this. If you are looking for the newest, fanciest building in town for your dog to stay in. This isn't your place. If you're looking for the best care for day care, boarding, or grooming (and no crates) for your special little doggie, Rub My Belly is the right place!
