Do not trust this groomer with your dog. I asked for a teddy bear cut, they agreed, then handed my dog back shaved to the skin without asking my permission first. If matting was the issue, they should have told me before starting and given me the choice to approve shaving, pay for dematting, or leave. Instead, they made the decision themselves, charged me full price, and then acted like not charging extra for dematting was some favor. How do you claim to "demat" a dog when you just shave everything off? The grooming itself was sloppy too they left a long forgotten lock of hair on one ear and gave her an uneven face trim that looks nothing like the teddy bear inspiration photo I showed them. This business has terrible communication, no respect for customer consent, and poor quality work. Go somewhere else. read more

I took my older dog here a few times. The first time was actually great. I booked online with as an "add on service" and wrote in nail trim. No issue. The gentleman event recommended a file since I expressed my dog was not a huge fan of trims. Quick. Second time to issue. I called that time and confirmed they had time for me to show up. Third time -- well -- I booked same way as an "add on service" wrote in nail trim (same as first visit) checked in. I came back early for pickup and waited in the seating area and was greeted by a man aggressively correcting my dog. (Mind you my dog is by far the sweetest, most gentle little old man you'll ever encounter. A little anxiety but never has he ever behaved in a manner to require such a vile mean aggressive tone) I got up and stood behind the gate watching for a moment to see if his treatment of my dog would continue. There it was. I saw it. Him yanking my little dogs body. His voice. Absolutely Mean. Aggressive. I've never spoken or treated to my dog like that. Nobody ever has. He had his headphones in. I said "You don't need to talk to him like that. He'd understand you just fine if you spoke softly." Startled. He took his headphones out. "Huh?" I repeated "Can you talk to him nicely please? Yanking him? And Your tone is absolutely mean.." I was in shock. I was sad and angry. He acted as if I was saying something completely out of the blue? He gave me my dog. An attendant from the back approached watching the end of the interaction. Baffled. She was very sweet and apologetic but neither explicitly acknowledged that man's treatment of my dog. I asked for the cost. It was three times more than usual? I was confused. I told her I've ever paid that much for a nail trim. She was surprised. Apparently he had gotten a full bath as well. I was confused. I told her how I'd booked the same way as I've done before and this mistake has never happened. The man chose to interject claiming how I booked was incorrect. I didn't address him. I spoke with the young lady and said again that I've booked this was before with no issue and asked how we'd proceed. She did the right thing and charged me only for the nail trim which was I booked for. Again the man tried to tell me I was in the wrong and "next time you need to"-- blah blah. I didn't address him. My main issue was that man, his treatment and tone he took with my dog. Vile. Mean. Aggressive. I will never be back. read more

Skye had been grooming our dog for 2 years. We chose him due to his high ratings and reviews. We thought highly of him as an individual who was able to work with dogs and understand dog behavior. Our dog was an anxious dog whose behavior changed dramatically after an emergency stay at a local 24 hour animal hospital. We tried a mobile grooming service recently which did not work out as our dog reacted negatively to the groomer. My husband recently has undergone numerous strokes, TIAs and recently diagnosed with kidney cancer. His last event has now left him with severe deficits. He is slow and it takes him great effort to go anywhere. For our appointment, we were about 15 minutes late due to traffic and we live 40 minutes away. Totally our fault. When my husband walked in and tried to apologize he was greeted with a rude "you are pushing it" from Skye. My husband offered to reschedule and just be charged the late fee but was told that it would not be necessary but to "make sure you are early next time". My husband informed him that this was our last visit as we had to rehome our dog, to which Skye had many questions to ask. There was another instance in which we received a text that our dog was ready but we were in a restaurant and it took us 20 minutes to get there. Upon arriving at the shop, a negative comment was made by Skye. I spoke to Skye about his rude comments and behavior this afternoon and was quite emotional. He was totally unfazed about the entire experience. After trying to explain to him that my husband has had a multitude of health issues, he smugly replied that his family has health issues as well as other people, so we are not the only ones. His attitude was quite honestly disrespectful as if what we were going through did not matter to him. After telling him that this would be our last visit and I'm sure he would be glad to get rid of us as bad customers by the way he had talked to us, he replied oh you are not bad but you always show up 2 minutes before your appointment. He then asked if we needed help rehoming our dog. First of all, rehoming our dog is our business and after the way we were treated today, we would not even consider "help" from someone who speaks to senior citizens in such a rude manner. In reality, Skye does a good job but his lack of caring for his customers is troubling. You may be late for good reason or just having a bad day. He does not care - as he said, his family and others have issues too. It was our intent to ask him before everything went south, to see if he would be willing to groom my service dog, who should be ready in about 2 months. But he lost a customer today and any respect we once held for him is long gone out the window. We already have lined up a top notch groomer who works for the facility training our service dog. A big disappointment for sure in seeing how one individual you truly respected can turn out to be. read more

Wow! Took my mom's schnauzer to see Skye when she couldn't get in to see her usual groomer. Yelp didn't fail me. Not only was booking online easy, he was able to see us very quickly and the appointment time was so convenient!! Skye is the new owner and this is the 3rd time I have taken my dogs for full grooming. Everything is based on appointment and you can conveniently reach him by text. I have always been able to schedule something at rather short notice. He is wonderful with anxious dogs. He really cares about their wellbeing but never judges you (in the event the fur is somewhat matted) as the owner. He also discusses with you beforehand on the types of cut you want. For both dogs, it takes about 2 to 2.5 hours for him to finish. He takes credit card but will charge $5 fee, fyi. Overall, I am so pleased to have found him for my dogs. read more

I was recently contacted by the groomer/owner of this spa to solicit for pet grooming services. Several years ago I had my cat groomed at my then, vet's office. Apparently this woman was either an employee or contracted to my vet to preform the grooming. While I had never met her, she knew my full name, phone number, and the name of my cat. What she obviously didn't remember is that our experience of having my cat groomed by her, is that it was not a positive experience. Less than two weeks after being groomed my cat was diagnosed with ringworms. Which he then passed on to my geriatric 19 year old cat who succumbed to the treatment by the third attempt to rid him of this highly contagious fungus. Eighteen months, 13 dips and thousands of dollars later our ordeal was finally over. Important to point out is that both my cats were and always have been, indoor cats with no contact to other animals. Neither she or the vet ever offered as much as an apology. To receive this call was like rubbing salt in a wound and I called back, leaving a message, to remind her of my previous experience and to asked to be removed from her calling list. I received a call back from a man that proceeded to berate me and told me..... and this is a direct quote... "I'm glad your f***ing cat died, you f***ing Ho" I just think it's something people should know if they chose to use this groomer. read more
