Bella absolutely loves going to doggie daycare at the Haslet office! She has so much fun and comes home exhausted. Everyone is super nice and they seem to really care about the doggies. I am so thankful I have a place close to home for my sweet girl!!!

Let me start by saying that my fur baby has been in boarding prior to this experience. My baby Memphis is a very active, playful, 6 month old English bulldog. My husband and I dropped him off Monday evening we were going on a 5 day trip and the usual place Rickords Animal Hospital was booked solid for this trip so I decided to try this place out 1. It had decent reviews 2. It was close to home. Today I picked up my pup and when I drove to the back to get my baby the girl that brought him to me was rude and very bothered. The first thing and only thing that came out of her mouth was that he tore up the bedding and that next time he needs toys to play with because he was board. While on there website they say that they get play time 4 times a day. So how board can he get? As soon as I get him in the car I noticed that he was shedding a lot and panting more than usual. He was not his normal playful self. He smelled like a dirty dog. Which is odd because according to the email report card I received the day before he was bathed. My husband noticed insect bites in his ears as well. That's not the worse part. Whoever trimmed his nails did an AWFUL JOB! They were very short and there was a little blood on the nails. I must say this has got to be the worst experience ever! My poor baby is probably traumatized now. I don't know what kind of "EXPERTS" They have working there but this is beyond a nightmare. Oh and they are only getting this one star because I have to add it!

Love this place!! The staff is friendly and caring. They have all been so great with my Boxer! We have used so many of their services ( pet sitting, grooming, emergency appointment, and obedience class). The minute we get close to the building she gets so excited. Everyone showers her with attention.

We love this pet resort & Boat Club road animal hospital. They always take excellent care of our furry family members. The boarding facility is clean & the staff is friendly. I love getting pet report cards with photos daily. My pets enjoy the cuddle times, ice creams, & play time in the yard. They even have a real swimming pool! I feel comfortable leaving my pets here as they are attached to the veterinary hospital. I highly recommend this facility.

Happy pups in a happy place!

What we really appreciate is that they don't try to nickel-and-dime you for every little thing--updates and playtime are all included, which makes a huge difference! It's clear to us that Milo genuinely loves the staff and being there. He isn't anxious going into the building or when we pick him up! We've even recommended Sentinel to friends, and now they board their dog here too. We truly cannot rave enough about Sentinel K9!

After dealing with…read moreunprofessionalism from the workers and concerns about cleanliness, I spoke with the owner and felt somewhat more comfortable sending my dog back for her third week. However, when I picked her up on Monday, she had puncture wounds that they claimed were caused by the prong collar, which is completely unacceptable. We took her to the emergency vet, where we were told this was the second dog this week from their program with the same type of injury. Please don't make the same mistake I did by trusting them with your dog. It's scary to think they still have dogs in their care. They are not nearly as professional as they claim to be. The owner's response is unacceptable. Had I known my dog was in pain for five days while the prong collar was still being used incorrectly, I would've picked her up immediately. Calling an open wound like this "minor" is beyond wrong, she lost fur and skin. If they weren't properly trained to use the collar, that should've been made clear. This isn't about money, it's about preventing other dogs from suffering.

In my experience as a first-time client of Melissa's Prestigious Pawz in Fort Worth, several…read moreaspects of our interaction raised concerns for me regarding communication, professionalism, and billing transparency. During our initial conversations, Melissa referenced her previous work with Eli Lilly when discussing animal care. While I respect professional experience, the way this was presented felt dismissive of my own long experience as a pet owner. For example, she strongly criticized the heartworm prevention product I have used responsibly for over 20 years with multiple dogs and suggested that products she prepares herself are preferable. From my perspective, the conversation felt somewhat condescending. When I scheduled boarding for our pets (three dogs and one cat), I also scheduled grooming for my cocker spaniel. At the time of booking, I explained that she had been digging in the yard after a large storm and would likely need extra grooming attention. She had been professionally groomed approximately 6-8 weeks earlier at PetSmart in Weatherford. I also shared that due to several difficult personal circumstances--including the recent passing of my father on February 28, my own cancer diagnosis and treatment, and my husband's cancer diagnosis and treatment--we had not been able to bathe her before bringing her in. I shared this simply to provide context. While we were out of town, Melissa contacted me stating that my dogs were "covered in ticks." This surprised me because our dogs have lived in multiple rural homes over the years, have been groomed regularly their entire lives, and have never had ticks. We currently live in a gated community where our home receives regular pest control, and our dogs sleep in our garage where we have not observed insects. When I asked for photos, the images that were sent appeared to show ticks in a container rather than clearly on the dogs themselves. During that call, I was informed that we would be responsible for paying to have the facility sprayed due to the ticks she believed came from our dogs. Because we were already traveling, we agreed to additional treatments for the dogs, including baths and chemical dips, and I was later told they had been dipped twice. Another concern for us involved billing transparency. We purchased pet food at the time we dropped our pets off and paid for it then, but we were charged again for the same food when we picked them up. Our final bill was approximately $2,000, and we were not provided with an itemized invoice explaining the charges. Without an itemized statement, it was difficult for us to understand how the total was calculated. Despite boarding multiple pets, there was no multi-pet discount offered. For comparison, the pet sitter who normally stays at our home--who unfortunately was unavailable during this trip--charges $80 per day to care for all of our pets combined. After this experience, I read through other reviews and noticed that responses from the business often attribute concerns to customer misunderstanding rather than acknowledging possible issues. During our own interactions, communication felt difficult at times, as conversations were often interrupted and it was challenging to fully explain concerns. Overall, based on my personal experience, this situation raised questions for me about communication practices, treatment authorization, and billing documentation. Anyone considering boarding services may want to ask detailed questions about these policies ahead of time. The photos we received that were described as evidence of ticks are included. Based on what we were sent, the ticks appear to be shown in a container rather than clearly on the dogs. This review reflects my personal experience and understanding of the events that occurred. I have retained documentation of communications, photos, and billing records related to this visit.

Luna was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism in June of 2025 and now takes medication twice daily. If left at home with her sister cats she would not get her medication due to hiding when the caretaker entered the house. We booked a two week stay at the Scratching Post while we traveled. I thought she would hide her whole time at the Inn, but to our surprise it was the opposite. During our daily updates we learned after the first 2 days of being shy she opened up to the staff. She enjoyed spending time with them, petting, scratches and followed them around, the word velcro kitty was used one day. She was very well taken care of during her stay. It didn't workout for our normal sitters so I started researching places to leave my precious kitten. When I say they take fantastic care of your cat/kitten I feel that is an understatement. I would not hesitate to take her back. I highly recommend them. They only take care of cats so I felt that was a much less stressful situation instead of leaving them next to dogs. Even the rooms they keep them in are so much better than cages you see at other places. No cages here! They have little townhomes, standard suite or deluxe suite. I chose standard since I didn't think she needed the bigger room since it was just her. They also update you with pics and how their day went. If you can't tell I was incredibly pleased with this place.
