If left at home with her sister cats she would not get her medication due to hiding when the caretaker entered the house. We booked a two week stay at the Scratching Post while we traveled. I thought she would hide her whole time at the Inn, but to our surprise it was the opposite. During our daily updates we learned after the first 2 days of being shy she opened up to the staff. She enjoyed spending time with them, petting, scratches and followed them around, the word velcro kitty was used one day. She was very well taken care of during her stay. She is already scheduled for another stay at the Inn.

Even the rooms they keep them in are so much better than cages you see at other places. No cages here! They have little townhomes, standard suite or deluxe suite. I chose standard since I didn't think she needed the bigger room since it was just her. They also update you with pics and how their day went. If you can't tell I was incredibly pleased with this place.

Metro Animals was one of the only places that were okay with taking in dogs that weren't exactly people friendly. I appreciate that they let us do a free trial day to see if he would be a good fit, which thankfully he was. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with Duke. He has even warmed up to a few of the staff members. Most of the employees seem to have an understanding of dog behaviors and how to work with them. I would definitely recommend them 10/10

The website is deliberately misleading about the monthly daycare membership and falsely advertises the services they offer. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE. We will gladly take our puppy to another daycare that doesn't mislead clients and takes significantly better care of the animals in their care.

I believe that she went through a tough time before I adopted her. I saw the great yelp reviews and I decided to call and she answered right away and agreed to meet my dog and I was that afternoon for a walk through. I wound up leaving my dog over the weekend and Julie was very sweet and you can tell she is an animal lover. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. She has excellent communication skills too. My dog came home and was happy to see me but she was a happy happy dog so I that's a great thing. I recommend trying this place if you want someone that lets your dog run freely and play with other dogs as well. It was my dogs first time and I will be taking her back next time I travel.

He is incredibly smart, compassionate, and truly understands that every dog is unique. He tailored the training specifically to our dog's needs, using a very gentle yet highly effective approach. My sister and I got puppies about a month apart. One is a large breed and the other a toy breed…read more We live together and were really struggling to integrate the two pups and it was making life VERY difficult. We were afraid to let them be in the same room together due to the size difference - when they were in the same room, it was basically gladiator warfare! We chose to board and train them together with Justin for two weeks while we went on an overseas trip. We were absolutely shocked at the progress Justin made with them in a few short days. The pups are totally integrated and we are all finally able to relax in the same room together. Until Justin came along, we were sure this was going to be a forever issue. Aside from the integration, Justin really listened to what our concerns were for training and was able to address each and get us moving in the right direction. He approaches training with love and always with the intention of strengthening your bond with your dog and teaching how to behave so that your dog can live it's best life and have as many adventures with you as possible. It's evident that Justin loves his work and loves and really gets to know each dog. We got great updates every day on how things were going and what he was working on with them. He's also an amazing photographer and we have so many gorgeous puppy portraits that he took. Best decision we ever made to use Justin and Modern Dog to help us with our boys. We just got them back yesterday and they are already more calm, having loads more fun and happy boys!
