Everyone is so nice and very professional. My pup was worn out when I picked him up. A tired puppy is a good puppy

I love Metro Animals! They have been a huge help with my Jack Jack. He's a very active husky with separation anxiety. I started taking him to Metro shortly after adopting him, and he was unsure at first, but now he loves going to see his friends once a week. They are so good with him, even when he's not so happy about bath time! I know he is getting plenty of love and attention while he is there and comes home happy and tired. read more

Metro Animals - After a long day at daycare! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Took my not so people friendly dog there because I needed a place to board him while on a weekend vacation. Metro Animals was one of the only places that were okay with taking in dogs that weren't exactly people friendly. I appreciate that they let us do a free trial day to see if he would be a good fit, which thankfully he was. The staff were incredibly kind and patient with Duke. He has even warmed up to a few of the staff members. Most of the employees seem to have an understanding of dog behaviors and how to work with them. I would definitely recommend them 10/10 read more

My labradoodle puppy loves coming here. She practically jumps over me to get out of the car when we arrive. She scratches the door to get in if she has to wait more than a minute. I would say that's a good sign about how she feels. Love how tired she is after a few hours. I take her for 3/4 hours at a time & it is so reasonably priced. She has been coming here for a few months now. The grooming service down the street is good too. Happy I found them. There are closer places however this is the one I feel comfortable bringing her. It's awesome. Thank you Metro! read more

New puppy for an orientation day and Charlie returned after not visiting for a while. Both dogs got A+ report cards and must have played all day. When they got home both were ravenous and thirsty and tired! read more

Amazing place for day care and boarding for your dogs! Our corgi is always so excited when we drive up. Only wish there was more grass or something softer than concrete, sometimes he comes home with split or really rough nails. But as long as we keep them trimmed short there's usually no problems. read more

Love Love Love this place!!! My dog loves it so much. Great prices..Great employees!!! Will always use them...

I am really happy I learned of Metro Animals! It is a clean and inviting place to board my foster boy. The employees are super nice! My dog had fun playing with his new friends there, and came home after a six day visit rested and more calm. I will highly recommend Metro Animals to my friends, and look forward to getting to board my pets there in the future. I appreciate all the kindness shown to me and Lennon. read more

Best doggie daycare and boarding in Fort Worth! Our dog, George, loves it here. Comes home after playing and sleeps because he's so tried after a fun day! They also will do baths, which is very convenient. Staff knows your name along with your dog - they recognize you as soon as you walk in. Wonderful place - highly recommend. read more

We boarded our dog at Metro Animals near Horne and Camp Bowie while we took a family vacation this week. When we arrived to drop off our dog, they told me we didn't have a reservation there, despite the fact that she'd done her orientation there two weeks prior and we booked her stay at that time and followed up by phone, and paid a $50 deposit because it was a holiday week.(They told me the $50 would go towards the boarding.) We were quoted $250 for her stay. We were told what time to arrive to ensure we would only be charged for boarding that day. When I arrived this morning to get my dog, I was told our total was $322. I told them that I was quoted $250 and was expecting to pay $220 because of the $50 deposit. (We picked her up first thing this morning instead of last thing last night because our drive home was delayed by bad weather, so I expected the total would be slightly higher than I was quoted.) The person at the front desk was extremely apologetic but said that that was our total. They couldn't figure out how to get the $50 credited to the total, so they refunded the deposit to my card. (If the deposit doesn't actually come off the total, why tell people it will?) I was told there was an extra fee for the July 4th holiday as well, but wasn't quoted that. I don't feel good about our experience there, though the people were nice I feel like I got different answers from each person and no one likes to receive a bill over $100 more than what they were quoted. I'm hopeful that they're better with dogs than they are with math, making appointments, quoting prices, and meeting expectations. read more

Update: They have been posting more pictures and it is the highlight of my workday! I have a 6 month old German Shepherd mix and he LOVES Metro. The staff greet him by name and he is always so happy to get there. I pick him up and he is exhausted from a day of play. Their pickup and drop off hours are super convenient too. Parking is easy and plentiful. They were also SUPER prompt to respond to my email question and I got a phone call from a lovely lady who went over the details with me for his first visit. They put me at ease and were friendly and knowledgeable. My ONLY gripe is that they don't post enough pictures everyday to fb/Instagram!!! I know that seems silly but it seems like most of the doggie day care places do a lot of that now so you can see your pupper enjoying their day. read more

I brought my dog here for a day of doggie daycare. He lasted 40 minutes, and they failed him. I asked if they had any resources to help my dog to eventually come back. They had nothing to give me. As a company, all of your workers should be certified dog trainers, and you should provide customers with resources when you turn them down. read more

Our family had to evacuate to Forth Worth when hurricane Ida hit. We needed to board our dog an English Bulldog and when we picked him up a few days later he was tired and had scratches on his face. Over the next few days he got sicker and sicker. We called Metro to ask if they knew if any other dogs were sick. The girl on the phone was laughing as I told her that our dog became sick after staying there. We are back in New Orleans and will take our baby to a vet to hopefully get him back on the right track. Horrible customer service. read more

Metro Animals saved me as I recently moved to Fort Worth and needed to find daycare for my 3 pups! I love that they take walk-ins. I wish I could drop off all three pups at the same place, but I appreciate that they cater to the pups' needs and behavior and place senior and small dogs together and more young and energetic dogs together. The employees are friendly and made this transition of moving here a bit easier! read more

My pup absolutely LOVES daycare at Metro Animals!! The staff does an amazing job, not only with daycare but also providing grooming needs when requested! read more

This Metro location is where we first began doggie day care with our Labrador puppy. He came home completely worn out, just like we were hoping. Metro has helped our dogs become socialized, and today have no problems around other dogs, or humans for that matter. The report card on the first day was a nice touch. We saved it on the refrigerator for the longest time! read more

We are big fans of Metro Animals. The staff really care for the dogs and I trust them without any hesitation. We tried going to the day camp offered by PetSmart but Metro is 100 times better - there really is no comparison. I first took my 6 month old puppy to Metro for building social skills and to burn off some puppy energy and boy do they play hard all day. My boy comes home exhausted and stays out of trouble for the day. I highly recommend Metro. And if you need them to board your dog they have boarding available as well. read more

I actually work at Metro the smaller dog location and I love it. Its one of the best jobs i've ever had. I bring my two corgis to work with me fri, sat, sun and they play for 8 hours straight each day. My one corgi is 4 months and he sleeps for almost 10 hours straight after i bring him home and put him to bed. It honestly tuckers the poor guy out. Ive worked at other dog "spas" and boarding facilities and even though metro isnt the nicest facility around we all really care about the dogs and dont keep them locked up all day which is why i enjoy working there so much. I hope to see you guys and your dogs! read more

This is the best boarding and daycare place you could ever take your dog! As soon as my puppy was done with his vaccines I had him start going just for daycare. My (now 6 month) doberman is VERY well socialized. He has never had an issue with any dog regardless of their manor. There is a small dog and big dog location both on Camp Bowie. I have only gone to the big dog location and every time I drop my dog off all employees know him by name. Huge property in the back for them to run and when you board it is basically a big room! Staff is always professional and friendly. My dog has some special needs and they accommodate him with no fees and no hassles. I know my dog is very well taken care there and is exhausted when I pick him up. Check out their Facebook page for an idea of what activities they do throughout the day. read more

Very poor communication skills between staff members. Was told two different things by two different employees. When I went to drop of a dog no one knew about it even though arrangements had been made. Had to wait until 2nd shift showed up to complete drop off. Was told foster dog had worms and covered in ticks but he was still in with all the other dogs when I went to drop off his meds. I don't feel like I ever got the whole story. read more

Under new ownership and management. Not the same boarding spot it once was. No longer are they the same happy place for pups. :-( It is now being treated as a high rent resort for pups, when its not anything close to that. read more

Dez absolutely loves Metro Animals!! She cries in the car every time we pull into the parking lot out of pure excitement! I feel at ease knowing my fur baby is loved at daycare just as much as she is at home! I have referred many friends to Metro Animals!! read more

I feel very comfortable leaving my pug at Metro. All of the staff know her by name. During one of her first daycare days the staff noticed she was a bit nervous so they separated her from the pack which I appreciated. She gradually got used to being there and seems to like it. read more

Absolutely LOVE this place! Not only is it a great place for your dog to play on those long work days, but their boarding is unmatched! I would not trust anyone else with my dogs. The staff are great and know each dog by name, and by temperament. It is comforting to know that they have as much love and concern for my dog, as I do. I highly recommend this place for daycare, or for boarding! read more

We have been with Metro Animals since they opened their first location about 10 years ago. All of our pups go there and are always excited when we pull into the parking lot. The staff and management are dog lovers and take excellent care of our fur babies. Highly recommended for daycare and boarding. read more

Received a nice phone call resolving the issue. Nice to see a company step up and correct things that you point out as an issue.

IMHO, this is the best dog daycare in Fort Worth. They always have plenty of staff on hand to make sure the dogs are interacting nicely, while the front end of the business runs smoothly. We have been a 2-3 day a week customer for over 3 years and I am 100% satisfied with the service that they provide. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. My poor dog, she looks like she got into a dog fight with a pitbull. I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPEN !!! and theres a cut on her ear!!!!! I try to take my Chi Sophie Sue there a couple of times a week. I think it helps to keep her to keep her social. I also want her to be comfortable going somewhere when I need to board her overnight. She seems to really enjoy, comes home tired and the staff is extremely friendly. They are always glad to see her and that gives me great peace. So far I am very pleased w/the Metro Animals Daycare. My experience has been very positive . read more

My furbabies love it here and are tired and happy when they get home, that is such a help with my busy schedule. Also love the pet wash, makes giving the kids a bath after the dog park so much easier, and better for my back. The location of the pet wash is great, right next to the dog park, so we can play in the pond, and walk to a bath, no messy car. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Metro. I take my pup to the Camp Bowie West location and have to say I love how amazing and caring they are with each dog. My puppy is exhausted at the end of the day. I also really appreciate how the staff collaborates with you when you're training at home. They point things out that they are working on and support your home efforts while the pup is in their care. I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone. read more

I've been taking my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Sophie here since getting her as a young puppy. We moved from Coppell to Fort Worth two years ago and looked for a day care for my boxer and dachshund and i came across Metro. I read good things about Metro and decided to take my dogs there. Shadow loves being at the day care! He always came home happy and tired! The pack leaders are amazing too! My dogs love them. I am very comfortable taking my babies to Metro. When we had some issues, Metro handles it very professionally. The way the pack leaders treat my dogs made me very comfortable leaving them there all day long. Thank you so much. keep up the good work! read more

Seriously the best! I take my VERY overactive Weimaraner here on a daily basis. The staff is professional and friendly! My dog literally jumps out of the car to get inside. When I first got my puppy, I did a ton of research on where to take him for doggie day care, as I wanted to make sure he would be getting the best socialization and care possible. I've been taking my dog here for over 2 years and she absolutely loves it. The staff is always courteous and excited to see her and I know she's taken care of for the day while I'm at work.
