I love my pups like my own children. We had to go out of town recently and Bridget's kept our 2 large dogs. They LOVED IT THERE! They were so well cared for. I LIVED for their precious Facebook updates! It's so cool that you get to watch your pups while you're away. It gives me so much peace! I would trust them with all of our fur babies. So upset that I have to write this, but I feel like I need to warn others. My husband and I were out of town for 8 days getting married. We boarded her at Bridget's Pet Resort after hearing so many positive things, and having a couple great daycare days. When my husband picked her up today, she had cuts all over her face and on her paw, to which he was told she has nervous tendencies and they believe she scratched her face on the cage. We received no phone call or email during her stay there. I called up there and spoke with a worker who said "we aren't sure what happened" and that the "owners were hard to get ahold of and I could email them". I'm extremely upset, and worried for my dog. I understand accidents happen, but a call or email would've been nice instead of just giving her back to us like this. I asked for the owners to please give me a call, as I don't feel like an email would cover this. I work long hours and travel often, so I was excited to find a daycare and boarding facility we liked. Update: Shaking as I write this. Just wanted to give an update on my situation at Bridget's Pet Resort. The owner Christine called, and told me to stop harassing her employees, and that I upset someone so bad yesterday they had to leave. I told her my husband picked her up and asked what happened, and I called to ask as well. I called this morning because I hadn't heard from anyone but that is now "harassment". She told me they don't call owners for anxious dogs, and that I should get my dog medicated or in training for anxiety. She took zero accountability for letting me know about the wounds, saying she was alone when they happened and her anxiety isn't their fault. I don't blame anyone for my dogs anxiety, I blame them for not letting me know she was injuring herself. She refused to offer a refund or any compensation for the vet visit last night, and spent the entire 8 minute phone call yelling at me and speaking to me like I was a child and my dog was a huge problem that I needed to fix. The wounds were a few days old per the vet, so this was something that was ignored for days, which aligns with her saying they don't report anxiety or dogs harming themselves. I'm sick to my stomach over this, and can't believe someone like that runs a facility in charge of taking care of animals. read more

I wrote the following review on June 7th, 2021. We took our 2 dogs for a 17 day stay at Bridgets. When we got our dogs back, it was like their whole demeaner had changed. They barked all the time, they appeared to be even afraid of us for the first couple days. They both had lost weight. We took the time to view the videos of dogs playing and a number of times my dogs did not appear in videos so I would call and check on them. Haley, who is Awesome and possibly the only KIND person in the company. The owners are an older couple. When my wife went to pick them up the owners were rude, nasty, and extremely condescending. My wife and daughter heard the older lady yelling SHUT UP to the dogs. A real piece of work. I know we will never use them again. I talked with Haley on the phone twice, one time when I noticed my dogs were not in any pictures, so I wondered if they had gotten in trouble, and she explained That they were having a little trouble. Same scenario 4 days later when I called and a younger man answered and explained similar situation.. I called one more time and this time I asked for Haley because she was the only one who treated us as guests and was hospitable and this was after my wife and daughter had picked up our dogs and was abused by Christine and her jerk of a husband. We have used Bridget's several times since 2019 & have always been happy. Our stays have been for 7-15 days for our large (now elderly) mutt. She is treated with care & while she's always happy to see us, we know she has been safe & received good care. read more

Our dog didn't stay and this review is based purely on customer service. We read all the great reviews so we called to take our dog there over the long weekend. The first person we talked to was very nice and he gave us all the information we needed to book. They require a deposit during holiday weekends so when we called back to put down our deposit a lady picked up and she was EXTREMELY RUDE! Since this would have been our dogs first stay, we hadn't completed paperwork yet and were working on sending it over once our vacation dates were confirmed. We just wanted to pay the deposit to secure our spot. The lady yelled at us and told us she didn't have any information from us and gave contradicting information from our first call. We told her we knew we had to send the paper work and were working on it then she got really aggressive and told us we could "call somewhere else". Who says that to a first time customer paying to keep you in business? So maybe this place is great but I will never go there based on this lady who picked up the phone. If she can't be nice to first time customers than I would never trust her with my dog. read more

Do NOT take your dog here for boarding, and here's why. Contacted this place to board my dogs (a GSD and a half GSD/half Belgian Malinois) for a few days and I had a bad feeling about it as soon as they picked up the phone. First, I had to correct the employee multiple times on the pricing for the boarding. Later, when he had trouble getting the vaccine records from the vet (which I had in hand, but he wanted to contact the vet) he told me that he didn't have time to be doing this. This all gave me a bad taste in my mouth, but I needed a place for my dogs to stay, so I sent along the information myself and scheduled a meet and greet. Right when I came in with my dogs, another customer and her dogs were leaving and her dogs lunged at mine and started barking. One of my dogs barked back, but they both followed me off to the side and out of the way. Once the other customer walked out, the employee working there (who I believe to be the same one I talked to on the phone) asked if my dogs were going to be aggressive like that and lunge at other dogs. I was confused by that statement since it was the other dogs that were lunging and barking at my dogs. He and another employee told me that it was not a good sign and that they were off to a bad start. We then led them to the play area. The employees tried to take both dogs, but my Belgian Malinois/GSD gets very anxious at drop offs and pulls to stay with me. He did not like that. Saying she would be a problem for handlers. But I told him that she's fine once I'm out of sight, which she was and she followed on leash appropriately. While in the play area they brought in another dog to see how the dogs would interact. My Belgian Malinois/GSD was barking up a storm and peering over the wall because she was still anxious that I just left her in a new place. My GSD initially barked at the new dog, but then went and sniffed snd greeted the dog. The other employee then came out to me and told me that my dogs were too aggressive and not dog friendly and are too high strung and showed no indication of playing. She then made an analogy about how you can't just drop a kid off at a playground to release energy, which I responded with, you can't just drop off a kid at a new playground by themselves and expect them to start playing instantly. They said they would not be a good fit, and honestly, I couldn't agree more because I would never want my dog to stay at that place. From the moment I walked into the place, there was zero hospitality and I felt unwanted there. It felt as if they discriminated against larger dogs or so called "aggressive" breeds and had no intention of letting them stay in the first place. I've only been told about how sweet my dogs are and how playful they are and have never had any issues with any Rover, Wag, or boarder. The boarding place I used to take my Belgian Malinois/GSD dog to in Austin would rave about how sweet she was and how much she would play with her own dog and I was hoping I could find a place as good as that here. I can tell you right now, this place doesn't even come close. The facility itself looked depressing and way too small for how many dogs they said would be staying there. They clearly don't know how to handle/take care of larger dogs as well. Bottom line, if you care about your dog and you want them to be well taken care of, do NOT take them here. UPDATE: Again the owners are being rude as they were from the moment they picked up the phone. Any camera footage in that lobby would show the other owner's dogs lunging at my dogs and initiating the barking, not the other way around. The people there did not want to spend the time and effort to actually evaluate my dogs, most likely because they're labeled as "aggressive" breeds. But hey, two other groups were willing to actually spend 20 minutes and 3 hours to give my dogs proper evaluations and all they could say was how sweet and great my dogs were! read more

Bridget's Pet Resort is wonderful! The owners are very accommodating for my slightly excitable Chihuahua mix, and since my job is unpredictable (on call) they are flexible when I can drop her off or pick her up, responding to emails very quickly. Best of all, our dog loves it there! read more

We boarded our two dogs at Bridget's Pet resort over the holidays and again in mid Feb. We were really happy with the care they received. We looked forward to the all the pictures posted on FB throughout each day of the dogs playing and being cuddled- so cute! We also LOVE the mission of Bridget's- the owners have an adult son with Autism and want to make sure he and others like him have a future with gainful employment. I was so disappointed with what I believe should be cared for with my daily fee. My dog had dried poop all down his legs, and the bed was do dirty with poop. He ran to the car which was an indication to me that he was happy to be out of there. He normally loves to stay at happy places. read more

FIVE stars for Bridget's Pet Resort! If you are looking for a pet resort or just doggy day care, look no further. The owners and staff cared for our dogs as if they were their own. The dogs are truly treated as guests and get to play all day long vs. just being stuck in a kennel. Our 8 month old lab had a ball and even became best friends with another dog who was staying there. The owners are also amazing with senior dogs. Our 14 year old terrier doesn't do well with rambunctious dogs so he was able to hang out with other older dogs and was given plenty of R&R. The owners even ensured he had a fluffy bed and extra blanket. I am also impressed by the story as to how the owners decided to open Bridget's as a way to provide employment and a positive environment for those who have autism. This is truly a wonderful place and I am grateful they are part of the community. read more

11 yr old Golden mix and 2 yr old Pom mix had not been boarded before, so I was unsure about it. During their 5 night stay they both thrived. I even received an email of an employee (I colored face bc I didn't ask to post the pic) cuddling with Lincoln while Lego's energy filled self waited for them to get up and play. I love this place! This is the only place i would bring my dog overnight. I loved that they didn't kennel him except at night, i wasn't overwhelmed by dogs barking, it was very clean, and the owners emailed me daily.
