    First day of daycare photo
    Ashley P.

Our first time was seamless for both me and my dog. The staff was so friendly & the owner was there when I came to pick up my dog. I really appreciated the hands-on approach. My problem came when my dog got sick and I let them know that he was diagnosed with dog influenza, which is very contagious. I was disappointed that no one reached out to us to check on him or follow up on why we haven't been back. My dog is better now, and I realize this is a risk associated with dog daycares, but I just wish they had cared to reach out. *The first day at camp photo is an adorable gesture too!

So proud of our pup when he passed his interview

Love, love, love this place! Our dog has a blast and we can do other things we need to do, knowing that he's happy and well cared for. Our large pup (1 year old, 65 lbs) has the time of his life!! Every time I check the cameras he is running, grinning, and wagging. Camp Bow Wow provides a clean and safe environment and the dogs bring the fun. I am so grateful for this as a positive outlet for our family. P.S. Every time our dog comes home from day care, he's super happy--and super tired! It's sort of funny. He's a big, energetic guy but he usually falls asleep in the car after his half day or so of partying!

Again. And this was only one of the many occasions.

While I appreciated being able to see my dogs and they weren't mistreated. I also felt like there is quite a misrepresentation regarding the love and attention they get. I watched my 12 year old dog want attention and go up to so many workers for them to just ignore him. If your dog doesn't want human interaction this is the place. But my dog would love some attention and an ear scratch or a butt rub on occasion would have sufficed. While I didn't feel my dogs were mistreated I definitely didn't feel like they were being remotely given any attention. We just moved back to the area and every dog is different and I think we may make a little extra drive to know I can feel better about being away and know my dogs are happy where they are. I gave 1 star because I mentioned this during daycare about not showing any affection throughout the day. Which I was told the workers put hands behind their backs to keep the puppy's from biting and nipping as they get to know the dogs they know which ones prefer petting and attention. We boarded for 2 days and I seen absolutely no change. Not a place for my 2. I'm sure my dogs would enjoy being boarded at a vets office compared to this.

We love CBW Grapevine, Jessie has been going there about 6 months now and I truly love the staff and care she gets there. She can be a handful and the staff handles her the way we would at home. We do weekly camp and have boarded her before. She is at the point now where she willingly goes back into the yards without turning around to me to say goodbye. I recently did a tour of the yards and kennels and was even more impressed with the set up and the way they take care of and monitor the dogs who are boarding as well as the "frenemy" board. I would highly recommend this location to anyone searching for a safe reliable place to do daycare or boarding.

The best dog daycare/boarding facility hands down. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure dogs are taken care of. Are open and honest with customers about their dogs. They have webcams in the yards so you can watch the pups play. The manager there is absolutely amazing! She is great at handling dogs and really loves her job and goes above and beyond to provide top notch service. Would never take my dogs anywhere else!

This is a screenshot from the cameras. Small space without anything stimulating and SO many dogs.

I would definitely recommend viewing the live cameras in their app (open to the public) before sending your dog here. We brought our pup for a trial run and ended up picking her up early after watching the cameras. There are SO many dogs in small, dark, boring areas. None of the dogs seemed to be playing and mostly just pacing around. The staff monitoring the dogs did not interact with them at all, and one woman in particular did not seem to even like dogs. At one point we saw on the cameras her grabbing dogs a little too aggressively for comfort. It appeared to be an overwhelmingly stressful environment for any dog. My dog was there for two hours and had kennel cough a few days later. If you have a small dog, it might be an ok choice because the small dog room did not seem as over crowded. The staff at the front desk were nothing but kind and accommodating, however the experience for the dogs just isn't there.

Great atmosphere!! The front desk gals are so sweet and definitely made me feel comfortable with bringing my sweet golden to day care! He had such a good time and was worn out when he got home... I will most definitely be bringing him at least once a week

I had read great things online and came in genuinely hopeful. That quickly changed. When I arrived with my dog, Buddy, and asked for a tour, the receptionist initially told me I couldn't bring him inside because they didn't have his vaccination records. I explained that I had already created a profile and uploaded everything. She paused, said "Oh," and then changed the reason--now stating I couldn't bring him in because it might "wind up the other dogs." At that point, I didn't argue and put him back in the car with the A/C running, but it was disappointing. A tour should absolutely include seeing how your dog reacts to the environment. Inside, the facility felt dark and quiet, with most of the lights off. Aside from the receptionist, I only saw a cleaning staff member. The tour itself was underwhelming at best. There was no effort to engage--no questions about my dog, no interest in my needs, no explanation of their services or daily routines. It felt more like an obligation than a business that wanted my trust. She showed me the "Ultra Suite," which includes a queen bed, webcam, and TV. Unfortunately, the room looked unkempt--the bed was unmade, the blanket was messy, and it appeared it hadn't been cleaned since the last dog. For $155/night, that's unacceptable. She did apologize, but it didn't inspire confidence. Next was the "Deluxe Suite," which was significantly smaller with a basic dog mattress on the floor. It felt more like a kennel than a "suite." There was only one dog there during my visit, yet the odor in the facility was overwhelming. I couldn't wait to leave. After showing me a few rooms, the tour simply ended--no discussion of availability, no overview of care, no attempt to answer questions or build trust. It was awkward and, frankly, disappointing. I'm very glad I chose to visit in person instead of booking based on the website alone. There is no scenario where I would feel comfortable leaving my dog here.

We boarded her at Bridget's Pet Resort after hearing so many positive things, and having a couple great daycare days. When my husband picked her up today, she had cuts all over her face and on her paw, to which he was told she has nervous tendencies and they believe she scratched her face on the cage. We received no phone call or email during her stay there. I called up there and spoke with a worker who said "we aren't sure what happened" and that the "owners were hard to get ahold of and I could email them". I'm extremely upset, and worried for my dog. I understand accidents happen, but a call or email would've been nice instead of just giving her back to us like this. I asked for the owners to please give me a call, as I don't feel like an email would cover this. I work long hours and travel often, so I was excited to find a daycare and boarding facility we liked. Update: Shaking as I write this. Just wanted to give an update on my situation at Bridget's Pet Resort. The owner Christine called, and told me to stop harassing her employees, and that I upset someone so bad yesterday they had to leave. I told her my husband picked her up and asked what happened, and I called to ask as well. I called this morning because I hadn't heard from anyone but that is now "harassment". She told me they don't call owners for anxious dogs, and that I should get my dog medicated or in training for anxiety. She took zero accountability for letting me know about the wounds, saying she was alone when they happened and her anxiety isn't their fault. I don't blame anyone for my dogs anxiety, I blame them for not letting me know she was injuring herself. She refused to offer a refund or any compensation for the vet visit last night, and spent the entire 8 minute phone call yelling at me and speaking to me like I was a child and my dog was a huge problem that I needed to fix. The wounds were a few days old per the vet, so this was something that was ignored for days, which aligns with her saying they don't report anxiety or dogs harming themselves. I'm sick to my stomach over this, and can't believe someone like that runs a facility in charge of taking care of animals.

We had barely made it through security before we saw a post on Pup Hub's Facebook page welcoming Artie and Gwen with pictures of them playing in the yard. This took a huge weight off our shoulders. Over the next 4 days, Pup Hub posted adorable pictures of them at least three times a day to let us know they were doing well. When we got back, I don't know if the dogs were even ready to go!
