My cat Rudy was coughing and vomit I took him to see Neely , as Dr. Miranda is no longer at CityVet. Neely did full X-rays and said Rudy has asthma but I don't think he needs medication for it. And then he tells me that my Rudy may die , Neely continues to give me scenarios as to why his friends have died ! This man talked so much bs about things that are irrelevant to me and my Rudy's condition. Neely charged me 400$ just to hear him talk bs . I have talked with neighbors and they agreed that he talks way too much about nothing that pertains to pets health care. I took Rudy to another vet because this idiot Neely said he would die! I learned that country veterinarians are more knowledgeable and compassionate.. New vet said that Can't see the forest through the trees!! My Rudy was properly diagnosed and treated and doing good today. Neely wasted my time talking bs , he basically charged me to hear him talk a bunch of bs. It's like one neighbor said he talks a lot because he doesn't know shit ! I will never return to this veterinary clinic, now that Dr. Miranda is no longer there . Do not trust Neely with your pets health care ! I have never had a vet tell me that my pets are going to die without a reasonable and proper medical diagnosis. Below is a picture of my Rudy today read more

Vet and staff were on point, helpful and insightful. Thank you for the care of seeing my dog!

Just saw a review posted by a former employee claiming that the IV pump administering fluids to their puppy was "sucking her blood up". As a former tech and now veterinary hospital manager, I want to point out that this is a completely asinine accusation. First of all, IV pumps are built with a mechanism specifically preventing this from happening. What this person is likely referring to is a small amount of blood that can be seen in the line and can happen when there is any movement in the catheter. I have personally brought all of my pets to CityVet Mid-Cities and Holly is one of the most experienced and caring technicians that has ever worked with my pets. I'm sorry that this person's puppy was sick, but to make the accusation that someone who has dedicated their entire life to the wellbeing of animals and who is one of the most thorough technicians I've ever seen in action as negligent is literally insane. read more

Dr. Miranda and Araceli made this experience so pleasant! I was a bit worried that my dog was going to be a wackjob the whole appointment, but the staff went really slow with him. They even brought peanut butter in the room to keep him busy while they examined him. Very caring and receptive staff. Easy process. And honestly, the price is great for the care they're giving. read more

-McKenzie was very attentive and sweet and brought safe energy into the room. This was very comforting for me and especially my scaredy cat, Migo. I could tell that she really values and enjoys her job with real passion for animals. -Dr Neely was extremely knowledgeable and made feel a lot of reassurance with the amount of information he provided. He took the time to listen and be personable with me, allowing me to notice his genuine and caring spirit. I hope to have them both again when the time comes. Thanks again read more

I brought my 2 month old puppy, who I had just recently adopted from the shelter, here when she needed care and monitoring due to her having a severe case of pneumonia. Her one and only problem was the pneumonia which nearly killed her, but no other health issues. She was very young and weak without being able to even walk around really. Upon our 3rd day in a row of having to drop her off at the clinic (she needed to be on oxygen everyday at that point) I went inside to get her and I noticed she was MUCH weaker and something was wrong. Her IV had a malfunction and instead of putting the crucial liquids she needed inside of her tiny little body, it was SUCKING her blood up!! I could see the blood flowing through the tubes. How horrifying was that to see! How ignorant do you have to be as an establishment meant to monitor and care for animals to let a mistake like this happen? And even more horrific was that the tech on the shift at the time, Holly (who is now the manager), was on her computer paying absolutely no attention to her to the point she didn't realize this already dying puppy had been getting her blood sucked out of her for god knows how long. She only noticed because I pointed it out! How careless and unreliable of a team that people trust and rely on to save and help their babies! The next day when I had to drop her off again, Dr. Miranda told me that she was now most likely not going to survive because she was now suffering from being ANEMIC due to the blood loss. Due to them SUCKING the blood from her already weakened body battling pneumonia at 8 weeks old. She came very close to dying the next few days and miraculously is still here today thank god. No thanks to the now manager, Holly. I hope someone with corporate authority may see this and go over both the camera footage from February 20th 2024 before closing time and Nanami's diagnosis history to see the outrageous negligence shown by Holly that day. Now that I am no longer an employee there I feel safe enough to finally expose this disgraceful truth. If this doesn't show the biggest form of unreliability from a clinic, I don't know what else could. read more

Was very impressed with making the appointment and being given pricing up front. The check-in associate was nice and efficient. Beware that when they take your dog "into the back" for the heart worm test, the vet performs a very quick "exam" at that time, NOT in your presence. I had no idea so when the vet started talking about the dogs, I had to clarify that she had already examined them. Both my dogs are seniors, and I wanted to talk as she examined them. The tech said "sorry, that's just how we do it." My opinion is I should have been told. This was my very first visit, so there isn't a level of trust built yet. The office honored giving me a copy of the heart worm/flea/tick prevention prescription so I could fill it at another facility. I called the office manager later that day to discuss my dissatisfaction, and while she apologized, she did not fulfill all the action items we discussed. The vet inflated the time she said she spent with me. According to its website, "Chip believed his CityVet concept would produce the strongest client connection" but this was not my experience. I suggest looking to your local shelter for low cost options. read more

CityVet staff was unbelievably kind to us today as we said goodbye to two of our dogs. We visited with Dr. Rutherford yesterday about "Quality of Life" and decided it was time. Almost every time I get some type of attitude at this place, I go there because it's convenience and the closest one for my house. Today I drop off my yorkie for a grooming appointment and the person that received him gave me attitude and pretty much told me that she was doing me a favor by accepting my dog (it was 9:45 am) since they only accept and take dogs between 8 to 9 am, therefore my poppy was going to be the last one she would do for the day. Told her that my appointment was at 9:30 and I told them I was going to be late (told them that the day I made the appointment), so her replied was, well the email says you need to drop off between 8 and 9 am or we won't take them. I mentioned that I don't believe that is what the email says and they need to update the email to say that since it only says my appointment is at 9:30 and again I told them I was not going to make it by that time, then again she said that she is the one that sends those emails and it says drop off between 8-9 am. So I stop arguing going back and forward said ok, and move on in to what I needed for my puppy. When I got back home I looked for the email and what do you know... does not says anything about "drop off your dog between 8-9am or we won't take him"... so I was given attitude for no reason not to mentioned I'm the customer and should have been treated way better and with respect!!! And after you confirmed the appointment that's all it says "thank you for confirming your appointment". SMH read more

We've been taking our two babies to Dr. Neely and Dr. Johnson for about a year and they are phenomenal. The staff and nurses are so kind and accommodating. We are new pet parents. Cared for many pets but Bella is "our" first. I loved my experience today. I had many questions about our new puppy, in regards to training, discipline, behavior color of her coat, everything The doctor was so down to earth. I felt I was in a room with my BFF. For a moment he sat on the floor and talked to me about Bella. He explained everything! He was very thorough. Took his time to talk to me. He examined her, gave her shots (and my Bella didn't even cry!) He even explained things to me about her teeth. He answered all my 1 thousand questions. I was very very happy with the care and knowledge that I received at this office. I am very happy read more

I will not go anywhere else. Have been here for 3 years. - The front desk staff is amazing and always so professional and sweet. They deal with a high volume of patients in and out all day and are efficient and very kind. - The techs are gentle and love on my babies every time they come. They do a great job at helping with all the small things (shots and periodic heart worm or fecal tests), and always take time to answer all my questions. - The doctors have been just as great as everyone else. I have seen both Dr. Kendra Latta and Dr. Michelle Choi so you can't go wrong. When there was a shortage of my dogs flea/tick medicine (Revolution) they helped me find alternatives online that closely resembled what they were on (one of my dogs has epilepsy so cant take the chews with seizures as a side effect). - The one and only time I have needed to board them, we had a positive experience. - The practice itself is very clean and tidy. I have a lab mix and cattle dog mix. I don't have to groom them so have never used this service. read more

Amazing staff and vets! They are truly caring and professional! Dr. Neely and Dr. Johnson spend time to listen to our concerns and do not try to rush us out. They are very knowledgeable and explain things (also a plus that they are A&M Vets). Their staff is very caring an knowledgeable. They have grooming and boarding available and also a tiny pet store for last minute needs. They are never pushy with services and give you a price before any treatments. They get down on the ground with the dogs to make them feel more comfortable and at ease. We are so lucky to have them as our vets. We highly recommend CityVet in Euless! read more

Edited 2022 to add: I just have to reiterate what a great vet clinic this is. I was having problems getting my dog's allergy medicine prescription from his specialty vet filled (totally a me problem). We had just run out and when I called to ask if I could get some pills to hold us over while I worked it out - they asked me what I needed, where I would want to pick it up etc. I was heard, they were going to help right then! But instead of giving me just what I asked for, they called me back after *pricing checking* to recommend getting the prescription filled somewhere else (still close) and asked if I'd rather have a full-year prescription to avoid the delivery issues that led me to call them. The quality of customer service is just out of this world! Thank you so much Morgan and Dr. Neely. Comments from 2019: My dog loves it here... both of the vets are great to work with; the techs are all animal lovers and are great with my fur baby. We've really taken advantage of the annual subscription service for visits, meds and shots... really great hours, they're always able to fit me in if there's an emergency. Definitely try it out! read more

This vet is one of the best I've dealt with! My puppy got sick during transport from NM to CA in TX. He was taken to this clinic and within 24 hours of proper care, he was ready to continue his journey to me. Dr Johnson and staff was in contact with the breeder and the several transport folks! I Spoke with Dr Johnson today and am very confident in his diagnosis and prescribed care. I have a BFF that is a vet for 30 years. I have UC Davis as an option when needed also. I have been raising and fostering German Shorthaired Pointers (Norcal GSP Rescue) for 30 years and have had to deal with many vet specialties for care. DON'T GO HERE FOR GROOMING. YOU WILL HAVE A TRAUMATIZED PET. Grooming is the worst. Grooming Staffs have no consideration for you or your pet. Took my dog for a couple of time for grooming and both times she is a different dog at the time of pick up. Fully Traumatized. If you care about your dog, for the grooming, take somewhere else. They are already expensive than other places and for the services that other groomers do included as standard, they have upcharge. Nail rounding after nail trimming is an upcharge. Your base charge is already 1.5 times more than other groomers and on top of it you have upcharges on basic stuffs. Are you kidding me? Never going back to this place for Grooming. Vet is Good. No complaints. Vets are knowledgable, kind and co-operative. read more

Straight FIRE Veterinarian. I had head good things about CityVet so when it came time to update my dog's (Stella) shots, I took her up there. The man that helped us when we arrived was very helpful and explained to me everything I needed to know about these shots. He told me about some others that they recommended but was not pushy at all (like some other veterinarian offices). We were in and out of there within 15 minutes. This is definitely where Stella will be coming from now on. read more

First the staff is nice. However the grooming they gave my cat was not good. It's really hard to find a cat groomer in the mid-cities area. In Miami I had no issues with grooming and the groomers always got it right. I emailed mid-cities a refer picture and verbally went over what I expected. I even received a call from the groomer to review the cut before she started. I always specify even the legs and round the feet. The groomer said boots, I told her no, I don't want boots. I reiterated even the legs and round the feet. I mean I even sent I picture. Well I got boots and my cat looks like a squirrel. They also did not give me back my colla, which has a FitBark on it. I sent my partner to get it because I did not go back and cause a scene. It would not have solved anything and I would have made myself look bad. I do understand cats are difficult to groom and not everyone can provide the service that I'm looking for. Not an issue I had in Miami but one I have here. However as a company it is their duty to explain this to customers if they Cannot comply with what the customer is looking for. I believe that's just common courtesy. $100 grooming to get squirrel instead of a Persian cat is a bit steep. read more

We LOVE this CityVet! Our poor boy was bit at the dog park awhile back on a Saturday afternoon. They stayed open and were ready to take care of him as we rushed over! As soon as we walked in the door I knew we were in good hands. My husband had taken Teddy here before but I hadn't been in myself. The staff was super nice and accommodating. Dr. McNeely and his staff are wonderful. I am new to the area and have just acquired a rescue fur baby. He went for an initial visit and they were so wonderful with him. A few days later my baby went into anaphylactic shock. Dr McNeely got him in and worked with him to get him stable and responding. After monitoring him through the day to make sure he was doing better and there were no other issues, he was able to come home that evening. Since then we have gone back several times for day play (which he totally loves) and a grooming ( he looked so handsome). Really nice vet clinic. They always have plenty of appointments as its a large clinic. I like how they have everything from pet boarding to vet and grooming saloon. The staff was courteous and fast. The veterinarian that saw my dog was very sweet(wish I remembered his name). My dog loved him. Their prices were also in line with other vets around. A regular visit/consultation was thorough.
