As an emergency pet hospital, these guys are indispensable. As a routine veterinary maintenance clinic, they have serious issues. You cannot request a certain doctor - you get whoever they have available, and some are good, some are horrid. We brought our little white French bulldog in a couple of days ago, because she was presenting with spots on her head. The harsh and rude vet that finally showed up after a half-hour wait, looked at her and announced she wanted to "look at it under a microscope". She proceeded to take the glass slide for this purpose and, using its sharp edge, gouged a sample from our dog's head. Stunned, I asked, "is that normal procedure"? No answer, but she snapped, "I see bacteria." She left. 5 minutes later, the nurse came with a bill and antibiotics. I'm lost on why people who don't like animals and really hate people want to be vets. By the way, our dog is getting worse. read more

Our other vet had no openings for a week for an urgent medical issue, so I called around and found great reviews on Creekside. I called and they got us right in. Surgery went well and now L'il Missy is healing. All staff are extremely friendly and customer focused. The whole place is clean and well managed. Time management is off a bit, but they handle appointments, drop-ins, and emergencies. Looks like well be making Dr. L our PERMANENT VET...she's amazing. Pricing is comperable with other veterinary offices...and they returned over $100 to me at pickup...plus we received our office visit for free for our first time. Great value. read more

This was possibly the worst experience I have ever had at an emergency vet. We took our dog there this morning and received extremely inadequate care paired with guilt tripping by the head physician. We brought our dog in at 5 AM as she was vomiting and coughing up blood. Upon arrival at the facility, we had to wait outside the facility after informing the team of our expected arrival time. Once we were let into the facility, the head physician, Dr. Levasseur, extensively guilt-tripped us for not taking actions that she deemed suitable, making my parents and me feel as if we had failed our dog in her final moments. Not only did the facility offer extremely inadequate care, but charged us through the nose for the limited action that they did take. During the two hours that the we were at this facility they charged us upwards of $700 for check-in procedures, hydration for our pet, and anti-nausea medication. We left the facility extremely disgruntled and received REAL care from VEG ER for Pets in Flower Mound. At the end of the day, I would not recommend this facility to anyone, as they did not care for our dog in the slightest, and made a major section of her last day a horrible experience. read more

We have 6 personal animals and I help manage a rescue so we use Creekside a lot for the basics... I have had positive experiences here, mainly with the techs who (some) are great--but repeated misdiagnoses and poor communication overshadow that. Last year, it took three visits and five months before they finally found my cat's cancer, not small at all, after dismissing my concerns in repeated visits. All they offered when i voiced my concerns were updating vaccines and doing a teeth cleaning.... We lost her, and she suffered needlessly. They put her thru hell waiting over 24 hours, starving, for a traveling ultrasound we had to re-do at a more advanced vet anyway... I'll never forgive myself for taking her here.... That cost us a fortune for absolute devastation and disappointment. Recently, I adopted new cats and asked for assurance before introducing them to my other pets, including a cancer survivor we've spent a fortune to save and keep in perfect health. I was told by their doctor they were fully safe. I asked for all testing to be re-done and he told me not to. I asked what to look out for, he said nothing. Now, after weeks of cohabitating my cat fell ill, I brought him in yesterday and learned about a contagious virus they never warned me about. Everyone said it like I should have known it exists... everyone in the room said they had a cat who had been exposed.... I've NEVER heard of it. Why did the first doctor not mention anything?! I paid $1,300 for incomplete tests and got no answers. My appointment was at 1pm and I was there until almost 6pm. I only learned from a technician checking me out that the key test wasn't even done or ordered so I requested it... doctor never came back in. This pattern of poor advice and delayed action is devastating and horrendous. I hope the excellent staff get better support because right now, I can't trust the care. Both the technician that rang me out and the person I spoke to after the fact when I called to complain, seemed to have the same attitude - that what happened was not the standard and should never have happened and it was truly abysmal - and yet no one has reached out to me. I don't think management or ownership cares at all. I think they're pretty happy that their doctors are giving their patients advice that is making them a butt load of money. Again, I find myself hating myself for bringing my babies to them... and putting them in the wrong hands. And now, because of one doctor, my entire home of 6 rescues who we brought back from the brink of death are all at risk. Careless. Senseless. The money and the time wasted would be worth it for proper care... this is not good care. I went to them for expertise and they looked to me for what to order... I left confused, broke, and today I'll make the drive and I'll be taking him to a better vet. Around 7pm on a Friday, my 10-year-old 97 lb golden retriever Charley stopped breathing. I called Creekside and asked what I should do, I talked to Erica, she mentioned I should bring Charley in, so I drove her over to Creekside because they are open 24/7. Right when I pulled up to Creekside and told the receptionist, Kera, that I had called about Charley, the whole team jumped into action, got Charley out of the car and to the back so quickly. I was escorted into a room and went through the cremation proceedings smoothly. On November 8, 2025, at 4:30 a.m., I knew something was wrong with our 9-year-old Frenchie, Merlot. After doing a quick evaluation, I determined that she was unable to urinate and was in trouble. Clearly in distress, I rushed her to Creekside. The facility was clean and impressive. The staff was very welcoming, and they began helping Merlot right away. After taking Xrays it was determined that she had large kidney stones and would need emergency surgery. Merlot was in a lot of pain and the staff and doctors did everything to help ease her pain and make her feel as comfortable as possible. Once surgery began it was determined that one of the stones was lodged in her urinary track, which made the surgery longer and more serious for Merlot. I want to thank Dr. Mandava for saving our sweet girl. This was not an easy in and out surgery. It took time and required an experienced physician for this to be a successful surgery. I also want to thank Dr. Martin, and Merlot's surgical techs, Britlyn and Sterling, all contributing to a successful outcome. Merlot spent the night in Creekside's ICU, and the doctors were good to give us updates on Merlot's progress, not to mention having patience with our numerous phone calls checking on her. We brought Merlot home the following evening. The doctors ensured that Merlot came home with the proper pain medication, which kept her very comfortable during her recovery. Merlot's recovery progressed nicely, and it did not take long for her to make a full recovery. I highly recommend Creekside when the one who runs your home, needs help quickly. They are professional, compassionate, kind, and are medically at the top of their field to ensure that your pet receives the best care. Thank you, Creekside, for saving our girl. We have been taking our daisy to Creekside pet since we moved here 3 years ago. We were warned about the prices but that was ok. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable until this last visit. Before this last visit one doctor even got on the floor and played with daisy. This last visit I brought Daisy in because she had been chewing on her paw to the point it was bleeding. I am sorry I am bad with names. I was by myself because my husband was out of town. The tech came in and asked if they could examine daisy in the back area. This is the first time the doctor never came and examined daisy in front of me but what could I say being put on the spot. After they exam her the doctor came in but no Daisy. He said she had a tumor on her paw and her teeth needed to be cleaned. Also they needed to do an ultrasound of her abdomen he told me the ultrasound would be $800 plus the cost of the visit. He then told me they could surgery on her paw the following week to remove her paw. By this time I am in tears and still no daisy. Finally she comes back and head straight for under my leg and the doctor said oh she is very protective of you. I told the doctor I did not have the money and couldn't make the decision to remove her paw at that moment. Oh and the surgery would cost $2800 for her paw and teeth. So after $250 I left and once my husband came home and we took her to another vet and they said all they needed to do was dig the tumor out and yes her teeth needed to be cleaned by he didn't like to keep pets under sedation for more than 30 minutes. He then scheduled an abdominal ultrasound that only cost us $450 and found out that daisy needed bloodwork to test for cushion disease. She had all the symptoms which I complained to Creekside on her last 3 visits and they told me it was behavioral issues. She was acting out. Also in 3 years we only saw one doctor twice. All other times we saw a different doctor. Back to daisy and her paw. By the time the other vet could schedule surgery the tumor fell off. The other vet did not treat for cushion disease so we are taking daisy to a third vet next week. Now don't get me wrong Creekside vet was wonderful in an emergency when I was in the hospital they took her in the middle of the night to board her and when my husband went to pick herup the next day everyone was wonderful and very sweet and the stay was only $80. I am conflicted about bringing her for boarding. Lisa in grooming is wonderful also. I just feel that the vet side of things this last time I was rushed and they missed the cushion disease for behavior issues. Also they were ready to take her paw for no reason. Our dog had an abrasion on the top of her head. We had no idea how she got it, but it was bleeding and seemed to really be hurting her. Because it was a weekend, our vet wasn't available so we took her to Creekside pet care center (open 24/7). Everybody was wonderful and could not have been more thoughtful and attentive. Our Bernese Mountain Dog got the care she needed, and we were sent home with some medications which seemed to do the trick. Dr. Kee and the technician, Hannah are awesome. I highly recommend this practice particularly in emergency settings. That being said, be aware it is not inexpensive. read more

I've always been one to sense shady behavior, and not once have I ever experienced that here. They love these animals and it shows in their care towards the pets and the owners. The wait is brutal. If you have an appointment do not expect to be taken in at your time slot. Once you are taken in then expect to wait for awhile until your appointment is over. Even if it is as simple as getting vaccinations. Every time I come I have to mentally prepare for a long and brutal wait. I'm usually sit around waiting start to finish an hour plus. I once waited two hours. In addition, they ask you the same questions over and over and never seem to read the history of your pup in the computer. read more

I recently visited Creekside because my dog was sick and needed medical attention. They took me in as a walk in and were very welcoming and wanting to help! Marie was the representative that helped me and made it super easy to sign in and accommodated us on my dogs needs being that she's not too used to being in social environments. Sam, the technician, was extremely helpful and personable. He made the whole experience easy and comforting and explained everything that was being done along the way in a heartfelt manner. Creekside oh Creeksidee. It has the worst reputation in the community it's so sincerely trying to help. They offer the most outrageous prices, and their knack for misdiagnosing animals is just a charming quirk. When my cat started drooling, I thought, "Of course, they'll have the perfect solution at Creekside!" They suggested a million tests to really maximize my spending. When I hesitated, they kindly recommended putting him down--so considerate of them! I dashed off to another emergency vet, where they simply opened my cat's mouth and easily spotted an infected tooth abscess. They suggested some antibiotics and if those didn't work, a little surgery. But guess what? The antibiotics worked like a charm! Had I taken Creekside's expert advice, I'd have happily forked over $2,000 and potentially said goodbye to my cat. Instead, I meandered up the road and only spent $275 for the visit and medicine, and now my cat is practically thriving. After combing through the delightfully terrible reviews, it's clear the practice managers are just trying their hardest to post positive ones to pump up their ratings. I even stumbled across those reviews and their names on their website... what a lovely little touch! read more

In my case, I learned the hard way that if the staff is unhappy, your pet may be unhappy as well. After more than 10 years, I was appalled at how I was treated after my dog was injured by another dog in daycare. I questioned why it took over six hours to notify me and for the vet to treat poor Hattie, only to be told, "It's the policy," by Lindsay Webster and her manager, Tess Tippit. After some research, I realized their primary focus seems to be profit and growth for their large parent company, Suveto. Owners Holli Hall and Rob Hance (who also owns Suveto, the parent company) appear to prioritize business expansion over pet care. But don't just take my word for it--Google these companies on Glassdoor and Indeed. You'll find a trail of toxic workplace complaints, high turnover, and other issues that can ultimately create stress for our pets. I loved the front desk staff and the individual dog boarding team. However, the lack of leadership makes this place feel unsafe. NOTE: After reading their 22-page policy manual, I discovered that while they have a policy requiring staff and vets to be notified ASAP if a pet is hurt, there is no policy on how quickly treatment must be administered (in my case, about six hours) or how fast they must contact the pet owner. Just be aware of these facts as you make your decision. read more

She also helped me calm down which was really sweet of her. Heather was my technician and she listened to my cats complicated history and was very understanding and polite. Went at 3am to take my German shepherd Malinois. It was almost $200 for them to take my information, see him in the room, just to tell me how "dumpy" he was and another $300 for a shot and IV hydration pack. They told told me he was sick after I already told them he was sick since he hadn't eaten in three days and I was concerned. Obviously why I told him to the ER. The first suggestion was surgery, without even saying what the surgery was for, " to see if there was damage to his insides" There was no actual diagnosis, only suggestion was to spend $1400 for blood work , fecal testing and xRays. No other options were offered, until I directly asked what can be given to him for relief at least. They didn't give any recommendations, just signed a wavier, until after I paid. Updated: two days after getting rest and hydration, my dog is more active and back to his normal self. Save yourself time and money. I don't understand how an important industry would trash their reputation by hiring uneducated and inexperienced "DRs" and "technicians" to use scare tactics. Now days it's about the money oppose to saving our family member/pet to live a long happy life. The low ratings are accurate. read more

I can't rave about this clinic enough. They're always super caring and treat each visit with care. My recent visit, they were booked but said walk-ins were welcome. The front desk got me checked in but notice my pooch may have been suffering from a stroke and took him immediately back without hesitation. As stressful as it may seem, they did an amazing job to ensure he was in the best care. Being 24/7 means I can rely on them having his most recent information if an emergency occurs. My dog's 14+ and we need all the help we can to keep him here. 10 stars if I could. read more

This was my third experience visiting Creekside over several years. Unfortunately, this wouldn't have been my choice of visits, unexpectedly having to have a dog put down. That being said, each person we met here was very compassionate and professional, from the receptionist, to the vet tech, to the Vet. For one of the worst nights in my life, they tried hard to make it as easy on me as possible. I felt very appreciative when they sent a small arrangement of carnations a couple of days later, as well as a personalized clay keepsake of my loved ones paw print (this may have came with the cremation services I chose). The paw print was super special to me and greatly appreciated. I've seen some negative comments here . . . maybe it depends on which Vet is on call when you arrive. The Vet we had was awesome. I also see several comments on the cost being high. Unfortunately, vet costs are high, just as are doctors. I don't think it would have been less expensive anywhere else. I would wish no one would ever have to go through the pain of putting one of our much loved pets down, but our experience with Creekside was 100% positive. read more

STAY AWAY!! Nothing but money hungry!! Took my cat up during January for some vomiting and found he injested some string and needed emergency surgery. I will say the surgeons did their jobs well as he was recovering fine but over the course of his 3 day stay, despite constant reassurance from staff, he was not eating. He refused food and appetite pills did nothing. It wasnt until i told them i was running out of money that they offered a feeding tube. Less than 5 hours later he was dead from liver failer. Despite the promise that he would be first in line for the surgery to insert the tube, he was shoved aside until he was too weak to safely be put under anesthesia. When questioned about the wait, they couldn't give me an answer because no one knew what was going on. I spent nearly 8000 dollars on my boy for them to neglect him. I can count on one hand the amount of people who treated me like a person and not just a credit card. I wouldnt come back to this place even if it was the last vet on earth and i hope to god no one goes through what i had to. STAY AWAY! read more
