She was given to us by someone who didn't want her, and it was entire learning process figuring out how to keep her well groomed. I already have two yorkies and they are a bit lower maintenance than toy poodles. The first two groomers I took her her to basically buzzed her and gave her a very uneven hair cut even though she wasn't matted. Anne's has always made Tillie look so beautiful and I've been so happy with how she smells and her haircut. I think my girl loves going to see the staff as well! They are always so welcoming and friendly. I'm finally taking my yorkies tomorrow and have no doubt they will look fabulous when they walk out!

I have a mini poodle who is about a year old and has had approximately a dozen haircuts without ever experiencing an injury. I decided to try a new grooming salon, and unfortunately, I deeply regret that decision. After his appointment at The Groom Room, I noticed cuts around his private areas, and the tip of his private area appeared extremely red and inflamed. I was understandably concerned, especially because this had never happened after any of his previous grooming appointments. I called the very next day to express my concerns, and instead of taking them seriously, Gabrielle, the owner and groomer, immediately dismissed me and insisted that the injuries did not happen there. To be fair, I could not personally confirm exactly where his injuries occurred, but neither could Gabrielle or her employee. That is precisely why I sought a professional medical opinion rather than making assumptions. I took my dog to the veterinarian as soon as possible. After examining him, the vet provided a written statement documenting their findings and confirming my concerns regarding his injuries and infection. I returned to the salon with that documentation, hoping they would take the situation seriously. Instead, I was once again dismissed and treated disrespectfully as a paying customer. As a pet owner, it is incredibly upsetting to trust someone with your fur baby who cannot tell you what happened to them, only to feel that your concerns are being brushed aside when something goes wrong. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds to a customer's legitimate concerns speaks volumes about its professionalism and accountability. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that my dog has had wonderful experiences at his usual grooming salon, with no injuries whatsoever. I tried somewhere new, and this is the result. I will not be returning. I am sharing photos of his injuries, the veterinary documentation, and other customer reviews so that fellow pet owners can make an informed decision before trusting this business with their animals. Our pets depend on us to protect them, and they deserve to be treated with care, patience, and respect. We used Pet Parlor more times than I care to admit, initially thinking it was just us our one of our pets causing the issue with TERRIBLE cuts (butcher jobs every time). The last time was the final straw. Not only did they scalp our doodle again, but they did not do a nail grind on either of our dogs, they charged far more than the quote AND their machine auto tipped them an addition $60!!! I even pressed it to make certain it went back to a 10% option because they overcharged already, but it changed the tip, regardless. I could not mention it to Cameron as he stood right in front of me, but I did write and ask about their nails afterward and he said they weren't cooperative. Then DON'T charge for things you don't do. Regardless, reading other reviews, I'm popping on to let everyone know the negative ones are accurate and you need to find another place. For the record, we've had success at Scenthound and will continue going there. My dogs no longer look ridiculous and the charges are exactly as the app says!

The minute we walked in I knew we made a good choice. The two young men at the counter were extremely friendly and I could tell they loved dogs. They explained the process and even took notes from what my wife's wishes were for Leo's trimming. He was there several hours and when I picked him up he looked great. Everyone in the shop is so kind, and genuinely love what they do. We have a Scottish Terrier and a Maltipoo--Sherlock and Bailey. Our Maltipoo was a rescue, she still has issues with strangers. We had hopped around to follow our former favorite groomer, but he has now moved on to working in tech and the previous place sold to new management. We had to seek a new place. (Apparently I did mistakenly write his birth year wrong when filling out the appt online. I accidentally wrote he was 8.5. His correct age which was shown on the shot records I sent by text after they requested them 2 days ago showed he is 9.5) But whoever was texting me from their location after asking multiple questions, STILL confirmed my appointment to bring him today. Apparently communication in correspondence between appt takers and groomers doesn't exist. But the groomer legitimately stood there and said she would not groom him today no matter what. I do respect their concern and the safety of justice in the grooming process, however the manner by which it was stated was rude and unneeded. When I asked about my deposit she very rudely stated a oh don't worry you won't be paying anything for this, but you CAN leave now. In one of the rudest voices and attitudes ever. If you don't want to service animals that's fine. But refuse in a respectful manner to prospective clients AND make sure everyone at your place of business IS ON THE SAME PAGE! Dont allow people to show up to be refused and then treated like that for showing up in the first place thinking they are going to be serviced and respected. Bubbly Paws , Keller
