So. Why one star? Well, I am a big customer service person. I came into your store kind of in a hurry. I won't lie, but I was the only customer. I picked up my 100 dollar bag of dog food and also some antlers at 39.00 bucks and proceeded to the cash register. While I stood there the person who should be ringing me up continued to talk on her phone and act like she was stocking the cold items. Right next to me while I'm waiting at the register. It isn't something I would ever do. Get better. Treat your customers better. Make sure they know they are a priority. read more

Have been an over a decade customer. Sometimes very nice, sometimes dismissive and rude. Sometimes oddly intrusive . Customer service is hit and miss and it never should be the case. Lemme break it down for you. If you want seriously excellent customer service with actually educated pet store employees and to genuinely feel like they care about your pets, come here. Like being ignored and sold overpriced junk? Go to the other guys. I've been here twice, and encountered two different employees. Both were great at advice/suggestions, asked what breed of dog, how old etc. I ultimately decided to switch my sheltie to Fromms dog food due to the excellent reviews and no recalls. Legit surprised by their prices here, was expecting to pay something crazy for this high quality dog food, but was pleasantly surprised. Not to mention their prices on bully sticks and well, to put it bluntly, bags of dead animal parts were all basically under $20 (which is cheap! At least compared to what Petco/Petsmart want). They also have a dog food program where after your 12th bag of dog food you get one FREE! And they gave me a little bag of treats to try, a dog food measuring cup and a little card that tells you how to transition your dog to the new food. Really cool and really impressed with their knowledge and helpfulness. Definitely coming here from now on! read more

I was in the Keller TX store on Saturday 2/25/23 to pick up cat food cans for my cat. The person who was supposed to be assisting me stated if I did not have a case all ready wrapped up then I could just look on the shelf. This person did not even try to help me. They just pointed to the shelf at the bottom and walked away. You did not have a complete case of the weruva 3oz cans of the nine liver (Amazon livin') nor did you have any 3oz cans of Funky chunky. I have been a regular shopper since you open your first store in Dallas TX. I have never received such poor service. read more

Smaller/Tighter location. Note to Self: Skip this location next time. It's convenient to the Keller Post Office, but missing that "je ne sais quoi" of Arlington/Mansfield and other locations that made me fall in love with HF. No obvious pet waste station, needed to walk my bag around back to the dumpster to dispose of before shopping. read more

We love Hollywood Feed in Keller! They sell quality products and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. We recently bought some treats for our dog. She did not like them because they were difficult for her to chew (she is 13 years old). I returned the treats and got a full refund no questions asked! read more

Came here today after our neighbors told us about this place while walking our 4 dogs. Purchase two bags of dehydrated duck feed and two bags of dehydrated beef lungs both items were buy one get other 1/2 price. Lots of stuff for both dogs and cats. I've been into this store location a few times now. One lady has always been really nice and helpful in anything I need. Unfortunately, I haven't seen her the last few times. The other girl (multi-colored hair) is not as friendly she isn't as eager to help you or answer questions you may have. She wouldn't even stop stocking the shelf to talk to me when I had questions about cat food...going into a store you don't want to feel "ugh" bc you know someone is working that doesn't want to be bothered. read more

You have to go here! Skip the big pet stores. This place has charm and personal attention. And what a selection! Not just pet food but cute shirts, decals, and home decor for every pet owner. The employee there was great. He made suggestions and helped me pick out some food for my foster kitten who is not thriving. He was very knowledgeable about natural products and the store carries a wide variety of them. So go in and have a look around. We spent way more time in there than we expected! Honestly I would rather go to Petco where they greet you and your pet when you walk in. Hollywood feed personnel just weren't that friendly or welcoming. It is a lot more expensive than petco too. I think we will stick with them as they are just down the road a bit. They are very sweet and welcome your pet with a treat when they come in. I'd rather spend my money there. :) read more

Used to come in regularly as they special ordered my dogs food for me. Last time I went in I asked if they had a certain brand of cat food. The girl I asked treated me like I was a total idiot. I go to this store frequently and have always been treated so well! The staff members and manager who work there are always so kind and helpful. I work at an animal shelter and am always having situations where an animal isn't eating, is throwing up, or having loose stools and these ladies have always given me great advice! I was transitioning my cat to raw and was having issues with with him throwing up. The manager recommended me cooking the raw until he was able to adjust to it. It worked like magic! She also showed me the great selection of cat toys and cat castles. I ended up purchaseing a cat castle and my sweet boy love love loved it! I've been to many other Hollywood Feed locations, and this one is by far the most organized and clean! The ladies are always working on new displays every week and do a fabulous job! Great place! Not only do they have a wide variety but they have high quality food at great prices. My pug has severe allergies and has to be on a pretty specific and limited diet and they helped me choose the right feed for her so she wouldn't get sick. They are eager to help always and very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a wide variety of snacks, toys, leashes, dog beds. Love this place! read more

First and last time in this store today. At first I thought this lady was very nice. She welcomed me in and was wanting to pet my dog. She also kept checking up on us making sure we didn't have any questions. I told her I was in to look around and let my dog walk around. Unfortunately, he did hike on something and I felt so bad, but then I noticed what he hiked on had some brown stuff on it and I'm not sure what it was. After that incident happened, her mood completely switched to an unpleasant tone and the expression on her face made it clear she was annoyed. I apologized for my dogs' behavior, but she did not need to act the way she did towards me. She obviously told the rest of her co-workers as they all kept randomly appearing and looking at me in disgust. The only one that was nice the whole entire time was the young lady up front working at the computer. She is the one with the dark brown hair and her attitude was very welcoming. I wouldn't recommend this place if you don't want to get pissed off and treated like shit. read more
