Anthony told me someone could come out the following Tuesday at 10am, so my husband took off work to be there to discuss what we are wanting. I started to receive daily text messages from Perry Floors reminding me of the appointment and to call if I wanted to reschedule. This included the morning of the appointment. Well, NO ONE SHOWED at the appointment time. I called the office, and was told 'sorry the guy is out of town' WHAT?? When I told them my husband took off work, they had some other guy come out and measure and said the guy who was 'out of town' will call me on Friday. Crickets since then. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME. I worked with Anthony for the original quote and then subsequently with Brian the owner for repairs to my flooring. It was at no fault to Perry's Complete Floors but I had contractors come in after they installed my laminate flooring and the other contractors damaged my floor. Brian worked with me each time this happened and ensured that my floor was repaired. It was at the cost of my other contractors but it was taken care of. I appreciate how easy they were to work with and would hire them again. read more

Disappointed. I came to get a quote. Looks like 3 employees however not one asked if I could use any help. I walked around for a while but still nothing. A couple came in after me and hey... they were alive. The asked if the couple could use any help or had questions. So I proceeded to walk around and the only thing that was said to me was "pardon me" because the employee needed to get by me. It's a very very small location so I'm sure they noticed me. I walked out and that was it. Now as for the product it was much more expensive than the place across the street Amir Flooring where the staff was helpful friendly and the prices were nice. This place did have a lot to choose from but unfortunately for me I never got any help. Good luck. read more

We had a great experience with Mike and his team at Perry's Complete Floors. We did a large amount of work on a home renovation and everything came out really well. The pricing seemed very fair and was transparent. A few little hicupps occured, as would be expected from any large project involving multiple contractors, but Mike took care of everything and all worked out well in the end. We had a new kitchen floor and 2 bathroom floors installed by Perry Floors a few months ago. We opted for sheet vinyl with a plank pattern instead of individual planks. Anthony came out to measure and brought along samples of what we chose as well as a similiar color so we could check them against the cabinets. Good thing he did because the one color we chose for the bathroom wasn't quite right and we saw his other sample was perfect! We are so happy with the floors. I like them more each day. The installation team of Danny and Frank were professional and personable. I thing I love most is that the plank pattern is STRAIGHT along the long kitchen counter and STRAIGHT along the bathtub and wall. I recommend Perry floors and the installation team!! Doing home remodel job, whole house needs new flooring. Shopped 9th St. and wound up at Perry Floors (Carpeteria). Definitely Laura is the person to consult. We have completed laminate in entry way and family room, linoleum in kitchen, carpet in Living room. Next will be carpet in the remaining 4 bedrooms. As a contractor myself, I don't put unrealistic expectations on the workmen that show up to do the job so I'm not swayed about the other reviews I have read. I chose Perry because they said that they could install the laminate around the fireplace so that it was seamless (undercut the stone). The other places I visited seem to give dodgy answers about this so I had no confidence in their abilities. Perry had no problem undercutting the stone or the new door casing installed. I also hate quarter round (QR) so I did the base after the floors were installed. No problems. These were important aspects of the job for me. Also, we could not find anyone experienced doing linoleum, so again, Perry Floors had the experienced TRADESMAN to do the work. The foreman that showed up to do the kitchen had 30+ years installing flooring and could do the coving technique that we required. Very personable and nice gentleman. Now that we are about 50% done, I think the real value we are receiving from Perry Flooring is the advice we get from Laura. My wife must have made at least 5 trips, pulling samples and swatches, choosing a design and then coming back the next day changing her mind. Laura's patience is awesome. Its not about making a sale, its about helping someone make a choice that they will be living with for a significant amount of time. She is in retail, selling flooring not design consultation. However she listens, lets us bounce idea's off her and offer's the benefit of her experience. We couldn't be happier with her guidance. For the Yelpers out there, this is a flooring contractor, not a fast food restaurant. If you know exactly what floor you want go ahead and shop the stores for the best prices. Just remember you get what you pay for. This cliche was invented specifically for contractors. If you need help choosing what is the best floor for your home, go have a talk with Laura at Perry Floors. Purchased flooring over the phone, nothing emailed to me. Was notified that flooring was at there location but fork lift guy would be back in a few hours. Get a call back that they are ready for me to pick up product. Upon ariving I was notified that fork lift guy went home and that the 2 ladies working there do not know how to work the fork lift. Another business next door came over and loaded my truck. After installing flooring I was left with 140 square feet left over (sales person recommendation for waste) store will not take it back. "Over promise and under deliver" I think this sums up my experience with Perry's Floors. MOST IMPORTANT PART OF MY EXPERIENCE: -Went into the store today to pay for my balance and also give them insight to my experience (found below). Both Laura and Mr. Perry were in the store. -Began to tell them about my experience and ask if their was anything they could do to recompense me for these negative experiences -Mr.Perry very defensively (by his own admission) told me there was nothing he could do and apologized in a very un-profound manner. -As we discussed the matter further HE CALLED ME "PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE" and told me I was only telling him my experience "FOR THE MONEY" (offensive? I think so!) -Poor Laura was in the middle of our conversation this whole time and looked to be quite embarrassed -So because I was so obviously in the store for their money, I payed for the remaining balance in cash. BEST PIECE OF ADVICE: - If you do end up working with this company WORK WITH LAURA! She is kind, patient and a problem solver. If she was running this business I am sure it would have received 5 stars FULL EXPERIENCE: -Went into the shop and was helped by Laura and she was AWESOME as she helped us find what we wanted (price was in the middle of other quotes I received) -Mr. Perry came to my house to measure and we had a great conversation in the process, he referred me to Painting by Michael which was the best thing he did for me! Give Mike a call if you need painting! (909)241-1052 -Purchased carpet, laminate, baseboards, and installation then put down the deposit -As Michael and Mr. Perry have worked together for many years they promised me a hassle free experience and they did most of the communication in order to set up a timeline where I would have the house painted first then have the floors put in -I then had to push the timing back on the flooring b/c I wanted to remove the acoustic ceiling which did not seem to bother them at the time -Finally it came time to do the floors and this is where my experience goes from good to bad -They scheduled the flooring to be done through outside installers (this seems to be standard practice though). They came an hour late and just barely before I had to leave for work -Came back home that evening and the floor was done with the baseboards and I assumed they would be coming in the next day to do the carpet...they did not (these installer btw were capable of doing both as I had asked them when they were at my home) -Called Mr. Perry the next day (Tuesday) to inquire why the carpets were not being done after the floors and I found out THEY HAD NOT SCHEDULED ME FOR THE CARPET. (logic tells you that if you're doing a two part installation then you should probably schedule installation back-to-back...but alas no.) Mr. Perry pretty much told me it was my fault for postponing floor installation so they would not have someone available for a week but I had tenants moving in that weekend. -Called again the next day to a similar answer -Went in to the store on Thursday and spoke to Laura (thank goodness!) she immediately got on the phone and found someone to install the next day which took her 20 whole minutes. (I dont know why Mr. Perry could not do this 48hrs prior) -Carpet installers came did their thing well and on time -A few days later, I had found LOOSE CORNERS OF CARPET AND SECTIONS OF THE BASEBOARDS THAT HAD NOT BEEN DONE -Coordinated with Laura to get these things fixed and she scheduled them come back on the same day and told me they would paint the baseboards they were fixing as I had already had Mike come in to paint the rest of the baseboards. -Carpet installers came in and worked on their repairs and were gone within 30min and the baseboard guys....were nowhere to be found -E-mail Laura she talked to them and then I got a text from them at 10pm letting me know they were going to be in the next day at 8:30am (professional? I dont think so) -Woke up at 8am to be ready for their arrival.........................didnt show up till 9:30am. They fixed up the pieces and then TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT PAINT THEM AS PROMISED so, again, I had to call Mike and have him finish up their work. read more

You would expect a company to respect their repeat customers, but Perry's Floors apparently doesn't care if customers return. We bought tile for a guest bath, and returned to purchase wood flooring. When our installer tried to lay the floor, he discovered the wood was defective, so we tried to take it back to Perry's. The owner would not return our phone calls, and when finally confronted in person, said we should have checked each box before buying them. We told him we were planning on buying a large order of tile for a bath remodel, but that we wouldn't if he didn't stand by his products. He refused to take back the wood. He lost an order of several thousand dollars' worth of tile for a return of several hundred dollars' worth of wood. I usually don't give reviews but, based on my experience with this company, I don't recommend this company. I had laminate floors installed. Mike came to our house and took measurements and we decided to have his company install our floor downstairs and baseboards. He said it would be about three days. To make the long story short, it took them over three weeks because, the first time they came, they didn't have enough material to complete the work and after that they started rescheduling because they came again and it was the wrong size, after that the baseboards had big gaps were the two pieces fit around the corner and other repairs to the work they had already done. The baseboards around the front door were horrible they needed to be cut to fit one side of the door, they probably didn't have the right tools and literally it looked like they cut it with a jagged knife. Horrible!!! The boards in the entryway are to this day loose. I texted Mike about it and one of the young guys came to fix it. ( he just put glue on the edges so the laminate pieces wouldn't move) guess what? THE BASEBOARDS STILL MOVES AND SQUEAKS. Through out the time this was going on, I took time off from work and at one point no body showed up. A few days later I get a call from the installation crew telling me were at my front door. ( no body notified me) They came late every time. My recommendation to Mike is to hire experts and reliable workers. read more

We were referred to Mike Perry by our general contractor to do the tile work in our new bathroom. He came out and measured then he took us to a huge tile store to pick out what I liked. The selection was great with plenty of displays for ideas. He coordinated with our plumber to come the day after they had finished placing the new tub. They floated the wall the first day and put in the tile the next day. It looks great and the price was far below the other 2 estimates we got. I have recommended him to family and will continue to recommend his company to family, friends and customers. read more

Laura walks you through the order and the Perrys take care of the rest. They installed my carpet and wood floors throughout my entire home in 2011 and it still looks brand new. I loved that they installed it in a day. Often carpet places sell you one thing and show up with another/differently labeled product that is supposedly the same. Not Perrry's. Original materials were delivered from exactly the manufacturer that I ordered. They even took precautions to make sure that the black marks that eventually show up on the carpet where the stairs meet the wall wouldn't show up, and they haven't! No buckling or bumpy areas, no loosening of the wood. It looks as good as the day I bought it. In this day and age it's hard to find companies that treat you like a human and not a number. If you want to feel like your home matters to the installers, go with Perry's. read more

This company used to provide good service but apparently they are either too busy to care or their employees are absolutely incompetent. They were great five years ago but now are terrible. Here is my recent experience: Had measurements for carpet and blinds done on January 29, 2015. Waited over an hour and a half at my vacant home for the installer to show up. Bear in mind I had a confirmed appointment. He finally showed up 15 minutes after I called the store asking about my appointment. Carpet was installed a few weeks later but they forgot to measure and order carpet for the Master Bedroom walk-in closet. Had to call and schedule a new measurement and install date. A week later and the closet was finally done. In the meantime, the blinds were never ordered and the person responsible for measuring for Plantation shutters had not scheduled an appointment. It took FIVE WEEKS to get someone out to measure my windows for shutters and they have still not given me color samples or frame samples to chose the shutters. The blinds were actually ordered and delivered to the store a WEEK AGO (3/12/15) but they could install until today (3/18/15). Great except the installer never showed up and after calling the store I was told he was hours away and would not be here today. I am told they will be installed tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. I also own three rental condo's and you can bet I will not be using Perry's Flooring for those. I encourage you to buy from some other company even its a big box store as I am sure the service you receive will be better than Perry's. The product you will receive will be the same as everyone buys their products from the same vendors. You would think they would pay close attention to customer service due to the competition from Home Depot/Lowes/Internet vendors but apparently they are doing just fine. Save your self the trouble and use a company who gives a crap about appointment times, delivery dates and communicating with their customers. I will never use this company again and I encourage you to look elsewhere. read more

Perry's flooring was contracted to install flooring in our home. The job that was done was below industry standard (according to an independent certified inspector) subsequently, we are not happy with the finished product at all. We are going to have the entire thing re done by someone else. The owner has been aloof and seemingly disinterested in the substandard job that his crew has done. It is unfortunate that this is what the outcome has been, because initially we were happy with the job and the people that came out to install, however just a few weeks later, all of the problems with installation began to show themselves. read more
