Don't bother requesting a consultation if you're going with a partial bathroom remodel. They claim they can't work on my shower project due to "warranty and liability" problems. I've never heard of this before from any contractor. Not everyone has money to remodel an entire bathroom. This company is just plain elitist, not how you treat a potential customer. My project won't bring in the big bucks. If that's the case, just say so and don't BS me.
I cannot thank enough Ben, Vicky and Andrew. As they beautifully remodeled our kitchen and master bathroom in the past, this time, we asked them to remodel our guest bathroom. Their work has always been precise, and they always talked to us to make sure that things are measured and placed in a desired way. You can look at the pictures before and after remodeling, but it is no comparison. They made it look like a museum. They were always punctual, honest, and genuinely nice. We are so glad that we found them and they worked on our home. Home is a huge investment. You want to live in a home that is comfortable. If you really care about the quality that lasts for a long time, you should definitely go with BH Remodeling.
We had 2 bathrooms remodeled by B & H Remodeling. They started demo in the first bathroom November 9th and completed bathroom 2 on December 21st. They beautifully remodeled both bathrooms exactly as I had envisioned them in my head, in such a short amount of time. The entire team was extremely professional and respectful of our home and personal space. They were the cleanest construction crew I've ever experienced and their attention to detail was impeccable. From our first meeting to get a quote, until the last walkthrough, it was apparent that they were committed to our satisfaction. We would call them again for additional remodels in a heartbeat and recommend B & H to everyone we know! They are truly awesome!
BH remodeled 3 bathrooms in 6 weeks. They never skipped a day of work and focused on finishing my project only. They even offered to come on the weekends to complete the project sooner. BH finished according to schedule and charged me no more than originally estimated. They were very respectful while they worked, and my family and my dog were able to live and work in the house during the entire remodel. I was surprised at how painless the entire process was. My only regret is not doing this sooner. They were great at quickly responding to any question I had. They do not provide design services, but I was able to design everything you see in the pictures on my own and I have no design experience. This was my first big remodeling project. I was very impressed with their quality of work. Their tile work is amazing.
Cannot say how much I'm in love with our new kitchen! Our home is a 1955 home that hadn't had it's kitchen remodeled since the early 90's. There was even a Montgomery Wards built in oven that stopped working at the beginning of the pandemic. We had several companies come out and give quotes - all of them very expensive and wanting to push changes that I did not like. The room had a 3/4 wall and adjacent island that made things tricky, as well as the kitchen being extremely small. Vicky and Ben came out and took measurements and talked to us about what we wanted. They actually had the best price and we felt like knew exactly want we wanted so we went forward with the project. Vicky met with me to look at the counter tops, cabinets and talk about specifics, and then Ben came out to make final measurements and drew up the plans. They let us know exactly want needed to be done and when, and gave a ton of helpful suggestions. They worked on the kitchen for two weeks and had reasonable hours. The final kitchen looks AMAZING and I'm so happy. I was without an oven for over a year and now have more counter space and a dishwasher. The cabinets were placed PERFECTLY and I don't think there is a single thing I dislike about my kitchen now.
I have nothing but great things to say about BH Remodeling. Ben and Vicky are a pleasure to work with. I spent hours meeting with Vicky discussing fixtures for the bathroom remodel. The crew was punctual and constantly cleaned which I appreciate during the pandemic. The bathrooms turned out beautifully and far exceeded my expectations. A major bonus is that they don't take on multiple remodels at once. I've had bad experiences in the past with contractors that work on a project for 1-2 days and then disappear for 3-4 days. With BH Remodeling they are constantly working and even work on Saturdays. I can't recommend this company enough. I will be going with them on all future remodels.
Ben and Mr. Wang just completed another wonderful kitchen remodel for us. This was a late 80s kitchen with oak cabinetry that was updated with a white shaker cabinet, soft close doors, and drawers. We wanted more counter space for food preparation, as well as, for food service. We added a microwave shelf, a mixer appliance lift, and pull-out trays for cabinets and food pantry. We added under cabinet lighting and recessed lighting in the kitchen, kitchen nook, and family room. The entire kitchen and family room feels much brighter and spacious after the remodel. As with all remodels, you always run into unexpected obstacles, but Ben always came through with a solution. We have been 100% satisfied with Ben's attention to detail.
I am so glad that I chose BH Remodeling to help my kitchen, bathrooms and flooring renovations. Both Vicky and Ben are very professional and respectful. Before they started, Vicky guided me through every step of the remodel and made sure I had all supplies needed on the start date. Ben is very patient and easy to communicate with. Most of all, Ben and his team did a very good job. Some of my friends asked for BH Remodeling's contact info after seeing what they did for my house. I would definitely recommend them.
This is about 5 years after my remodel. We are now getting some work done on our home and the plumbing is exposed. My husband specifically asked for copper pipes when we remodeled our kitchen. Ben said yes, that they could do copper plumbing. Now 5 years later we can see what they actually used- PEX, not copper. I feel really cheated and I didn't want the water that my family drinks (we have a high end whole house water filtration system) to come through some cheap plastic hose. Maybe some people are ok with that because they don't drink water from the faucet, but they told my husband they would install copper plumbing and they did not. Very disappointed. Also after 5 years some things are starting to fail. Now I have to get a licensed plumber out here to redo the work that I paid for the first time around.
Had a great experience working with BH Remodeling. Vicky and Ben were both very responsive and gave suggestions to what I could do to my bathroom. When the project started, they were here working on the project consecutively everyday and even on Saturdays to get the work done. We ran into some issues with some of the materials so the completion date was pushed back but Ben worked with me to get the new products installed when they arrived. The bathroom came out absolutely fantastic and I would definitely work with BH again.
First I would like to say is that Vicky and Ben great people. They are re doing our whole house. They first started on a bathroom then came back 2 months later to do 2 bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. I could not say anything bad about there work or how they conduct business. There estimate are right on. Ours would always change because of the great ideas Ben would come up with. Every idea he gave us was perfect. They were always on time. They would show up at 9:00am and work till 6. I have used other contractors and they would come late or leave early or even not show up. They were also very considerate of our home. They treated our house as if it was their own. Everyday they would cleanup and lock up when they left our home. We have to have custom shower doors installed and I used a outside person to do them. We did not say or tell them anything about the bathroom. When he saw the shower he asked my wife who did your shower?? She asked why do ask and he said he has installed thousands of shower doors so he seen a lot shower tiles. He said the tile work is perfect. He says he always sees lines that are not straight or nooks that or not done correctly. He said our shower tile work and floors was perfect. They are coming back in December to start the master bedroom, master bath and spare room. I know they will do a perfect job and make our house a home.
I completely loved working with Ben and Vicky from BH Remodeling and will absolutely be hiring them for my next bathroom renovation. When I was getting quotes from contractors for my bathroom reno, I was baffled that other contractors were telling me 6-8 weeks to finish and BH Remodeling was telling me 10-14 DAYS. I hoped it was true, but couldn't understand how they could be so different from other contractors. WELL, they ARE different. Vicky is super organized and helps you make sure you're ready for the reno start date with all of your supplies, so that there are no delays while you wait for some random valve to be shipped to you. BH only works on one project at a time, so they were at my house Monday-Saturday from 9-5pm until it was finished, which took 12 days. Their work was impeccable. Ben was patient and respectful of all of my questions and detailed requests. I am a picky, perfectionist client, but Ben never tried to convince me to let go of things that were bothering me. He could explain all of the steps, decisions, and processes to me in a clear way that helped me make great choices (that I'm so happy with). Even better, Ben consistently checked in and made sure he was doing things the way I wanted (for example, confirming the placement of the shower cubby shelves, tile pattern, etc.). He didn't assume that the "standard" way was how I wanted things to be, so everything turned out exactly how I wanted! As they worked, BH made sure to be considerate of the rest of my house. They tried to minimize noise and cleaned up after themselves every day. BH is great at communication, has a great price, does excellent work, is clean and respectful, and is QUICK. I honestly don't know what else you could want out of contractors. One thing I wish I had known before I started with them: they don't do heavy tubs (anything over 300lbs like a cast iron tub). We had planned on getting a new cast iron tub, but we ended up reglazing the one we already had instead. Reglazing isn't ideal, so I wish we had been able to get the new tub, but it was still worth it to work with BH.
We used BH Remodeling to remodel our master bathroom. I only have great things to say about this company. BH Remodeling was timely. We were given an estimate of two weeks for project completion. Our job was done in two weeks. (I appreciate the fact that this company focuses upon one project at at time) BH Remodeling was flexible. Any last minute changes were accommodated during the process of our remodel. For example, after realizing the color of one painted wall was not what we had expected---Ben ungrudgingly re-painted the wall with another color to our liking BH Remodeling reflects fine craftsmanship. The professional tile installer assigned to our project worked tirelessly each day. He arrived early in the morning and stayed late in the evening to complete his job. He exemplified a perfectionist in his trade. BH Remodeling was clean. The workers coming into our home used special caution in maintaining a clean environment each and every day. I definitely recommend BH Remodeling without hesitation for your next home project.

We're really glad that we chose BH Remodeling to re-do our bathroom; we'd love to work with them again. The pricing is fair and honest. When they gave us a quote, each item on the project was itemized, so there were no surprises. Their last invoice shows the receipts of all the raw materials they bought, including returns. The communication from Vicky was very good. Ben was a great consultant when we weren't sure what to choose. He explains all the things you need to consider in a bathroom, or the kind of hardware to buy. Andrew, who showed up everyday was always on time. His tile work is neat. On the last day of the project, he thoroughly cleaned so there was no mess. Overall, it was a smooth experience and we're happy with the results. read more

BH Remodeling is responsive, organized, thorough, detailed, and consistent. Their work is unlike any other contract work I've seen in a very long time. They don't cut corners and are great with communication. Vicky walked us through every detail of the process, created an itemized list of fixtures and textile we needed. Couldn't have been more simple. This company has both great customer service and quality of work. Ben and the crew were very consistent in showing up and even flexible with our schedules. I highly recommend them for your next bathroom remodel. read more

We just completed an extensive kitchen and bath remodel, which included replacing the floors of the living room and dining room. Powder room had an old vanity removed and a new Toto toilet installed, along with additional cabinets and shelves. We had the kitchen basically gutted; completely new cabinets and counters and a relocation of our pantry space. We also had a "window" cut into the wall separating the kitchen from the living room. This was definitely not an easy project yet it was finished on time and budget, even with some last minute requests we had. I can't say enough good things about how awesome BH Remodeling is. Vicky was our administrative contact and we communicated with her constantly from quote to finish. Ben and Mr. Wang did the remodel work and were incredible. They executed our vision perfectly and even had a few ideas we incorporated into the remodel. Our scheduled allowed us to be home on Saturdays and they were willing to come on the weekend to get the job done. We had several quotes for our project but went with BH because Vicky and Ben really listened to our thoughts and ideas and presented us with multiple options based on how much we wanted to spend. There were no surprises during the remodel; anything additional was at our request and Ben provided timely updates on where we were on the project's timeline. Our master bathroom was remodeled last year by a different contractor and was fraught with constant delays. I only wish we had found BH Remodeling when we did it. Thank you Vicky, Ben, and Mr. Wang for an absolutely beautiful remodel! read more

We can not thank BH remodeling enough for the amazing transformation of our Master Bathroom. This bathroom went from being outdated and rarely ever used to easily being one of our favorite rooms in the house! Not only did the team do an amazing job on the room, they were also quick and efficient. The whole job took 11 days to complete (there were a few days they could not show up due to rainy weather conditions). The team was very cleanly and covered the hallways and neighboring rooms with plastic in order to keep from tracking dirt or getting dust from construction throughout the house. Overall, the BH Remodeling team was friendly and efficient, and they did an amazing job on our house. We are so thankful for their work and will definitely be hiring them in the future! read more

With the great experience with Ben and his team on our previous remodeling project, I hired them again on a new project to build and install cabinets and quartz countertops in our garage. Again, we were impressed by their quality of work, the transparency with which Ben and Vicky communicate, and the high-quality finishes that his team delivers. Ben and his team seem to take a real pride in not only doing what they say, but in creating something great that fits within the scope, and the workmanship has always been high quality. We are very pleased and excited with our renovated garage. BH Remodling will be our contractor for life! read more

AWESOME!!!! We are super happy with our bathroom remodel. Vickie and Ben practically held our hands from the consultation to the end of the project. They made sure that we got good quality materials and their work is as good. They were very patient that even when there was a delay in the delivery of the vanity and cabinet, they were very willing to work with us. The best of all is they respond so quickly with any questions that we have even when I think that my question is stupid . Vicky was very clear with what we need to buy that she gave a checklist with clear instructions. She discussed the difference of materials from the price to how manageable it is especially when it comes to cleaning. If I can give 10 stars, I would and I will definitely recommend them. read more

After several weeks of searching for a contractor to remodel my bathroom, I was fortunate enough to find BH Remodeling on Yelp. Here is why I chose to work with them, and why I am going to be working with them again on my kitchen remodel: -Vicky is really superb with communication and follow-up. She is extremely prompt, responsive, professional, and courteous. We met beforehand to go over everything that was needed for the project, and she worked with my busy schedule to find times for us to meet. She answered all of my questions and concerns, and I always felt like I was in good hands. -Ben and his team are extremely detail-oriented. They are true professionals. They attend with great care to even the smallest details. A rare thing for many contractors is to stick to a timeline. They gave me an estimated time to completion and finished the work within that time. The team has a very strong work ethic from start to finish, which is also hard to come by in this business. I was delighted with the final product, and everyone who has seen my bathroom so far is in awe of how well it turned out. read more

We had BH Remodeling redo our whole home (~1600 sq ft). The work was substantial and included: - New kitchen - Two bathrooms (change our outdated bathtubs to showers) - New paint throughout, new interior doors & frames, new closet doors, recessed lights, removal of popcorn ceiling, fireplace retiling - New floors throughout (replace warping hardwood and tile with durable, waterproof laminate/vinyl) We had our windows done a few weeks before the remodel began. We found BH on Yelp and am glad that we went with them. Vicky provided a great overview of how the process would work and even provided some design suggestions of how we should redo the kitchen and bathrooms. The process is very transparent. The estimate provided is in a unit price format and there is no markup on the rough materials. Ben and his crew showed up on-time everyday and were very respectful of our home. They were also able to accommodate changes we had during the renovation process. For example, we changed our flooring-type and our cabinet selection with relative ease a few weeks into the project. We received many compliments on the home, especially on the tiling! We are very happy with our home and would recommend BH to anyone! The whole process was so pleasant, something you would normally not expect when facing a house remodel. read more

We had the best experience ever working with BH Remodeling! They finished the work way earlier than originally promised! Two bathrooms fully remodeled in about three weeks time! Not only did they wow us with the timeline, they were super responsive and provided guidance from consultation day all the way until the project was completed. Another value add was they helped keep our house safe by locking up each day, and they even helped coordinate with my other construction team for separate work I was having done at the house! They let them in and safely locked up after for me so I didn't have to personally be there. The BH team felt like family! Let the photos be evidence of their amazing work! It's with great pleasure that I give my recommendation and 5-star review to BH Remodeling of Rowland Heights for their work last May 2017 to remodel my bathroom and replace the flooring of my entire condo. There were a few tips that I followed to find the perfect company to do the job, and with the help of Yelp, I was able to take care of a few of them with just a few clicks. With any service company I look for recommendations, do interviews, and talk to prospects - after reading their highly rated Yelp reviews, BH Remodeling of Rowland Heights was looking promising. They gladly took a project of my size, invited me to see the projects they've done on Yelp, and also informed me they take on 1 job at a time - which is why my job was scheduled 2 months after our initial discussions - they're very popular and book very quickly! When Vicky and Ben came to my home they answered all my questions satisfactorily putting me at ease - after all, they were going to be in my home for hours at a time. They were trustworthy enough that I didn't need to be at home while they worked. Vicky remained very responsive and answered all my questions long after our initial face-to-face via text. Putting my mind further at ease, I checked in with California's consumer protection agency and the Better Business Bureau to make sure they didn't have a history of disputes with other clients - They do not. When BH Remodeling of Rowland Heights set up their bid they broke down the cost of materials and labor. They set up a payment schedule that didn't require half of the bid up front - this told me they weren't having financial problems and they didn't worry that I wasn't going to pay the rest after I saw the work. Their bid was very fair and looking back, it was money well spent. Everything was put it in writing and included a start date and projected completion date and receipts of the specific materials and products used were provided - they didn't mark up the material. The end result is fantastic, the design input they gave me was valuable. My 1980s bathroom finally looks like it's from this millennia and the 13-year old carpeting and brown laminate throughout my house was replaced with a "here-and-now" grey wood. I look forward to future projects completed by BH Remodeling of Rowland Heights. read more

Just wrapped up my 2nd bathroom project with BH remodeling and the end results are amazing! The whole process has been awesome from Vicky meeting with us multiple times to help us with ideas to Pat and his Team doing an amazing job with all of the requests and special items we wanted to include. Its also fantastic that they will recommend multiple places for parts of your project and will go and pick up the materials as well. This helps when you start your first home improvement project and do not know where to start. They have access to multiple vendors (you wont feel pressured to use them at all, just if you needed them) that also have great service/pricing. The service at BH remodeling is phenomenal too. I dont know how many countless emails and texts I sent to Vicky and she responds to all of them so promptly! Also, check out the pics from our bathrooms and you can see that their quality of work is just as great as their service! ( AND with amazing pricing vs other companies that will charge you so much more) We cannot wait until our next project with BH remodeling!! read more

So glad to find BH Remodeling for 2 full bathroom remodels. From start to finish, the entire project went smoothly. Ben and Vicky initially came over for consultation. Shortly afterwards, I met Vicky at Floor & Decor to go over a list of items to consider with a quote on what we can expect for each bathroom. Together with Ben and Vicky, we also headed to Home Depot for a walk-thru of items required to get the job done. The remodel would begin a little over a month later which gave us time to decide what tiles to order, type and color of vanities and countertops we wanted, etc. The team of Pat and Jose did all the work, and it was impressive to see how the two worked together efficiently, and nearly nonstop each day from around 8:30am to 2pm Monday thru Friday, and Saturday at times. Even more impressive, they completed both bathrooms nearly a week ahead of schedule! That's a little over 3 weeks for two full bath remodels. Phenomenal work at a reasonable cost too. Vicky was in constant communication with me throughout the entire time and stopped by occasionally to check on the progress. These guys are the real deal and I highly recommend BH Remodeling. Here are some before and after pics from both bathrooms. read more

My family used BH Remodeling recently to complete a small bathroom remodel. We had recently used a couple other contractors on our master bathroom which did not go well and required us to constantly ask them to fix poor workmanship. Working with Ben, Vicky, and their team was a refreshing change of pace. They were extremely organized, clear in their instructions when it came to ordering supplies, on time, and reasonable. It didn't feel like they were trying to cut corners and rush through the project. Every day, they updated us on what was done and what would be completed the next day. Their price is reasonable and the work was great! Would definitely recommend hiring BH Remodeling for your home renovation needs! read more

We decided to go with BH Remodeling for our master bath remodel after seeing how professional Ben and Vicky were. From start to finish, they were very meticulous and kept us informed every step of the way. We trusted their team with our home and loved how the bathroom turned out. They were flexible with the changes I wanted to make along the way. They worked hard to stay on schedule and finished the project in the estimated timeframe. They were not pushy and did not try to get us to add things we didn't need. Overall, we are very satisfied and would recommend them to others. Price point was on the higher end compared to other bids we got but was reflected in the quality of their work. read more
