    Strawberry Matcha

Best cafe in the area with coffee, bubble tea, sandwiches, salads and vegan treats Great quality bubble tea and sandwiches! Unique bubble tea menu with oat and soy options for milk substitutes for $1 extra, overall a bit pricey for bubble tea but very good quality Only thing they're missing are fresh baked goods like croissants Wifi available and seating limited to 1hour

I was craving for something cold so ended up making a stop at Perchance. I opted to try their matcha strawberry bubble tea as it was one for their popular drinks but would have to say it was only okay. The matcha was a bit powdery and compared to Whisk Matcha Cafe and Boba Run, I had to say it was hard to compare to the others. However given the outstanding reviews on the cafe, I may have to be back and try some of their other offerings.

THE CUTEST CAFE EVER! My sister and I came to this cafe in Kitsilano, and we LOVED IT~ The cafe is like a little hidden gem that I wish people knew more about! The Caprese bread was a grilled pesto, tomato and cheesey sandwich that was simply so delicious! It was a nice portion that we shared for a light meal. Paired super well with the crema drink I got, thick and creamy cheese foam layered on the roasted green tea - the hojicha tea~ (it actually taste even better with some milk I added towards the end) My sister liked the fruity pineapple sparkling as well~ it was like a tropical tasting fizzy soda that was super refreshing. Overall, beautiful interior, super relaxing space for study or to chill, great aesthetic, love that they use reusable steel straws too. definitely will come back~ :) Caprese Bread - $9.00 Hojicha Créma - $6.50 Pineapple Sparkling - $5.50

Having been lucky enough to see Perchance before it was opened and try some of the potential menu items I was really excited to come back when it was open. The space is lovely and relaxed, and a great place to hang out. The food was just right for a light brunch, particularly the avocado toast, and the almond croissant is among the best I've had anywhere. The best part for me though are the drinks - coffee, tea and bubble tea options are all excellent, with fresh Boba made here and a really well balanced flavors in every drink. Standouts for me were the iced latte with Boba and the oolong cream tea, though the strawberry matcha may be my overall favorite so far. Congratulations to Hank, Evan and the great team they have built!

We have been back several times during our visit to Vancouver to try more things. All the food and beverages are delicious, made with high quality ingredients. New items we tried: Drinks - Strawberry matcha latte: so good. Love the fresh strawberry puree. The matcha was spot on, perfectly bitter and earthy. - Oolong sea salt creme tea: LOVED this. Cream was perfectly sweet and salty, and complemented the flavor of the oolong well. - Iced latte with boba: great drink for coffee lovers - Passionfruit jasmine tea with aloe: I'm a huge fan of fruit teas, and all their fruit teas are made with a homemade syrup or puree. This was super refreshing, and I recommend the aloe as an add-on! - Jasmine milk tea with pearls: very good. Pearls are cooked perfectly. Food - Grilled cheese with tomato and basil: very tasty, served on sourdough bread - Beet salad with lemon vinaigrette: house-roasted beets with some greens. Great healthy salad! - Hochicha roll: this comes from local bakery buttermere, and they rotate flavors every week. Light cake with whip-cream based frosting. Very nice dessert to accompany a tea or coffee. - Chocolate tart: rich, ganache-based tart. If you love chocolate you'll love this - Pistachio danish: very good

Addicted. Perchance is one of few rare bubble tea places that puts in the care and effort to make their drinks tasty with quality ingredients while being impressively presented to satisfy both foodies and food photographers. The texture of their pearls are chewy and just right. At Perchance, there's a wide selection of drinks, from tea, milk tea, to coffee. They also offer sandwiches and other pastries. They also have a great atmosphere perfect for studying, reading, or talking with friends. *I love the painting selections at Perchance, especially the one with a bunch of colourful tiny running humans*

This place is so clean and cute!! I love the paintings on the wall. People working here are super friendly and easy to talk to. Love that they let me use my own reusable bottles for the bubble teas. I also got to have oat milk which was delicious. I had the matcha strawberry latte drink which was sooooo good. Would absolutely have again. Just a hint of sweetness from the strawberries that were really fresh. I got my mom a chai latte w pearls hat she enjoyed(heavy on the spices but it was lovely) and also picked up a piece of the vegan lemon loaf. Great shop would recommend!

Amazing soy lattes and avocado toast. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly, overall this little neighbourhood cafe is a must try.

Love this place!!!! Perfect for studying or just sitting to look cute in public on a good makeup day. They have a back room with a long table and bar stools (which make your back hurt after hours of studying) and a few tables in the front of the cafe. Their selection of art and potted plants are also conducive to the creative study mood. My favorite item from them is the Jasmine Latte so far. I've had their Matcha Latte a few times as well. A large with soy milk will cost you around ~$6-$7. They do come in tall mugs, so you do get your moneys worth. I've also had their caprese sandwich with prosciutto. It was a good complement to their lattes. Also decently filling. I've only had them do latte art for me once, but it made my week so much so that I'm writing this review about this cute bear art days after drinking him. I don't think they usually do art, or at least this was the first time out of ~5 times that they've done this! It was such a nice surprise. I felt bad drinking him!!

Comfy vibes with kind services :) Look forward to coming back.

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
