I was in the area with a friend and we decided to stop by this cafe for lunch. The baked good display was impressive. After looking over all the options, I ordered the jambon beurre sandwich with a peach drink. No complaints on the food. Service was good and efficient. The ambiance was lively as there was a steady flow of customers. Lastly, there were some interesting baked goods options that looked more like pieces of art rather than food. Overall, it was great dining experience.

We just visited Wicked Cafe's new second location near UBC in West Point Grey (Dunbar and 16th Avenue), and it's filled with exciting treats you don't want to miss! This location is more spacious. The vibe is similar to their first location. They have a gorgeous display stocked with the yummiest fresh pastries. Their desserts and to-go latte drinks cabinet are a showstopper. We are always impressed by the level of detail in their latte art. It was so cute and detailed. Their staff is incredibly talented. NEW ITEMS * Florida Beach Tart - Crème brûlée tart with London fog custard and a cute white chocolate duck! Super cute and delicious! * Cannelé Crème Brûlée - Orange custardy in a cannele!! It has an irresistibly crispy and caramelized exterior, along with a moist and custardy center! Love it! * Cream Soda Igloo - Japanese-style cream soda jelly with tropical fruits - gluten friendly! * Mocha Duck Latte - Adorable latte art and delicious mocha! Must have! * Raspberry Ice Ade - A refreshing raspberry beverage. It's not only delicious but colourful too! SIGNATURE DESSERT * Tom & Jerry Cheesecake - Light, fluffy, and lemony! Very artistic and super delicious! This cozy and spacious spot has become one of our dessert and coffee shops! Food: 5/5 Must Try! Service: 5/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! Presentation: 4/5 Parking: Street parking available in the neighbourhood Tips: * Always have unique seasonal items. Check their IG for details. * Check out the local artwork available for purchase. Support local talent! * Recommend this place for meet-ups or friend gatherings. * If you're in a hurry, their fresh pastries are perfect for a quick snack or breakfast on the go. Would I Return: Yes ‍

I had previously gone to their West 4th location which did not have that many options. But I think this is their newer location and it is amazing! The cafe is super cute and has a nice ambiance. They also have so many options here compared to the other location, I was confused on what to get because everything looked so good. I ended up getting their smores lotus cookie which was delicious!! It wasn't too sweet and I'm a big fan of lotus biscuit so this hit the spot for me. The next week thing I got was their winnie the pooh honey jar, I loved their presentation! It was very adorable and the little honey stick came in handy for my kitchen. The dessert itself was also nice, again, it wasn't too sweet which I liked. It had a honey/vanilla taste. For savoury items, I got their pizza croissant. It was exactly what it sounded like, cheesy with a tomato sauce. The other one was their leek bun.. delicious as well! I would recommend warming this up so that the bun melts in your mouth. Overall, I was impressed with everything I had here. Would definitely recommend checking out their new location :)

We loved the space they have on W 16th. We've been to their other location and this one feels a lot nicer and much bigger. They carry the same wicked and creative desserts and their signature buns plus some pastries. Our favourite is their basque cheesecake and the carrot cake. I love that they also sell plants and some goodies.

Pretty good value for the money, and some cute food (like their cheesecake which is shaped like a cartoon piece of cheese), but the food is mid and I'm only rating this place highly because the portion size is good for the price, at least considering how expensive eating out has gotten. Uber Eats has permanently had some kind of buy-one-get-one deal here ever since they opened, so it's one of the better deals in the area if you're in delivery range. But keep in mind that if you order a sandwich from here late in the day, it will definitely taste like you got a sandwich that was made earlier and then sat all day. As for why I'm saying the food is mid, the sandwiches taste like any other mass produced sandwich. If you get their "signature" cutesy cheesecake, it has a very strong one-note lemon flavor, as if they used artificial lemon juice to flavor it. The texture isn't bad, but there's nothing particularly good about it, and the flavor is a lot less interesting than what you'd probably make at home.

If you need privacy in a cafe - this is where you'll find it. Located on 16th Ave in a spot kinda all by itself as everything else - shops, restaurants, etcetera are located up & around the corner on Dunbar. Wicked Cafe & Bakery is beautifully designed. The interior is swanky, vibrant & just cool like dat. I loved everything about it. Gosh my eyes were getting bigger & bigger the more I looked through the pastry glass - heavenly delights. I had to regain control of myself after almost hyperventilating! I was tempted to break it with my window (don't ask why I have one ... that's a story for another day) breaker! Goodness gracious I could see only mouth watering paradise. I'm definitely going to have to return ASAP! I was just passing through so all I had today was a Lemon Earl Grey Cookie & a Oat Hot Chocolate. Delicious. Don't forget to check out Wickeds - Signature selection. Please note - Tap only.

My daughter and I went to check out the new location of Wicked Cafe in West Point Grey. A place that serves cheesecake which actually looks like cheese...I simply had to come out to this place! I've never been to the original location but this one is spacious with plenty of tables and decorated with lots of green plants. It's got a nice, relaxing vibe to it. We ordered: Peach Latte Moon Latte Granola Square Winnie The Pooh Honey Jar Wicked Strawberry Pot Tom & Jerry Cheesecake The Granola Square was just OK. Warmer would have been better. I really only ordered it as a token "healthy" item to alleviate my guilt from ordering so many other sweet foods and drinks. Everything else we ordered was delicious. I love how creative they are with their desserts. I'm a huge fan of Winnie The Pooh so of course I had to order that in addition to the Tom & Jerry Cheesecake. Winnie The Pooh fan that I am, the Honey Jar wasn't really one of the better items. In the end, my favourites were the Tom & Jerry Cheesecake, Wicked Strawberry Pot & Moon Latte. While I enjoyed our sweets, I do think that this place uses just a bit too much dairy in their food offerings. Except for the Granola Square everything we ordered had dairy in it. I can handle dairy but my stomach would have probably been a bit happier if I'd had just a bit less dairy and a bit more of...something more refreshing than dairy! These cafes are so cute! I've been to the original location on W 7th near Olympic Village and just tried this newer location on W 16th and Dunbar. This one feels a bit more approachable - it's a bigger space and also in an area that gets less foot traffic, so while the other cafe seems to be perpetually packed, this one was fairly quiet when I visited on a Friday around noon. The cafe is full of beautiful plants and the aesthetic is somehow both modern-industrial and homey. There's a little gift shop area with postcards, stickers, bath accessories, and jewelry. The stickers and cards by Bomin Kim (@bomemade) are adorable. The staff was very polite and patient with me, and they seemed to be happy to help some people who came in after me who had questions about the drinks. I had a pear & brie sandwich, a walnut basque cheesecake, and an iced chai latte. I'll first get it out of the way to say that I found the chai latte underwhelming, more almond milk with a hint of chai than a proper tea latte. I had a matcha latte at the other cafe which was perfect, so I'd recommend the other drinks. I have only positive things to say about the rest of the food! The sandwich was made on quality thick-cut bread and the filling of the juicy pears and creamy brie was simple but heavenly. The cheesecake was luxuriously rich. I wasn't expecting it to be so chocolatey, but I'm not complaining. Chocolate things are good but doesn't usually wow me, but this did. At the other cafe, I had a chickpea tofu wrap and a Tom & Jerry cheesecake, and both were also fantastic. The same menu is available at both cafes! I really like their unique menu offerings and their desserts that are both very cute and very delicious. However, it's not very vegan friendly: there's a single vegan wrap (which is great!) and nondairy milk for drinks, but that's it - no vegan pastries. It's more expensive than the typical coffee shop but I find the food to be above average and the portions are pretty filling, unlike some boutique shops where you pay a lot for tiny sandwiches and cakes. It's very rare to find a place that has it all like this, I would encourage everyone to support them, especially as this area is otherwise pretty much void of coffee shops.

Great cozy cafe with the absolute most artistically well-designed dessert options. A bunch of people were sitting at tables working or just hanging out and the atmosphere is great for either. Their display shelves are full of amazing looking pastries and desserts that both look pretty and boast great flavors. I wanted the jar and honey dipper so I went with the winnie the pooh honey jar, and we also got the strawberry pot and cheesecake. Not a single bad one and the crumble on the strawberry pot tiramisu was maybe the best I've ever had. For the honey jar, I can't believe how many flavors they fit in there: honeycomb cereal, pudding, peach jam, and cake. And the cheesecake is just stunning to look at and just as flawless with each bite.

Well it seems ownership has changed and the new owner doesn't give two craps about prior customers, honoring discounts, replying back timely or being more friendly? Was playing email tag and finally submitted the 39 flavors and didn't hear back until after another week and then told they won't deliver only in morning when they know our reservation was for 730pm and they're open until 9? I even replied back and nothing. We own and run several business in lower mainland and in United States and this customer service from Unni Pastries is trash. At least you can do is reply back and apologize? For wasting time when I specifically told you it's for family and friends flying into town for a funeral burial. Will never use their business again. I highly suggest Mello. They replied and helped me out last minute. Shame on you! Learn how to run a business and treat customers esp previous customers who were supporting the business and fellow Krn but it's clear the new owner doesn't care about the customer or quality it's all about quantity. Maybe my 39 donuts which I offered to pay extra for time and packaging wasn't large enough but money is money. Especially during this time and economy. You should've at least replied back and even tried asking us to do pickup as the restaurant is down the road. Do better! Go to Mello which isn't too far and they bake fresh daily better pricing and reviews and consistency!
