We don't live in the area but we'll definitely be back! We had a mid-morning errand to run in Fort Lupton and found this place via Yelp. It's a very nice looking neighborhood spot with a great patio. The inside and patio were both clean and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean as well. All the staff were wearing masks and tables were spread out well so they're doing what they should for the COVID situation. My only concerns were that many of the patrons were coming in without masks. I'd love to see a sign on their front door stating masks are required. Also that they had condiment caddies on the tables that I didn't see them being wiped down between customers. All in all, we felt very comfortable with the precautions they were taking. My wife had the Ruben sandwich with sweet potato fries. She loved the sandwich, which was piled high with corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. The fries were crispy and delicious. I had the fish and chips. There was a very generous potion that I really could have/should have shared it. The tarter sauce was super yummy with large bits of pickles. So tasty I needed a second cup of it. The fries were crispy and perfectly done. With such wonderful, attentive waitstaff and delicious food, you can bet we we'll be going out of our way to eat there again! read more

The service was slow, the food wasn't very good. You can better value for flavor at chilies or Red Robin. They up charge for everything and don't deliver things you where charged for. As a local, I've seen this place go from mediocre to outstanding since CoVid. Some restaurants get it and others don't - but this one has worked on constant improvement to bring back it's customers. The Reuben, with the standard fries or substitute onion rings which sounded like they'd hit the spot or maybe 1/2 & 1/2. Nope, not able to order 1/2 fries 1/2 onion rings. You must pay the added $2.50 for what turned out to be lukewarm, flaccid, unappealing rings. Won't make that mistake again. The sandwich seemed to have chopped corned beef instead of whole slices. Pretty good lunch spot. Came here with a client today and found the place to be clean and easy to get into. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Onion Pedals were a great app to start with. I ordered the smoked pork mac and cheese which as a bit of a let down. It was just kind of a muddy mess as far a flavors are concerned. My client ordered a burger which apparently was swapped in the window for someone else's burger so he did not get what he ordered but he did say the Jacks (which is what he received) burger was really good. My colleague had a patty melt and was quite happy with it too. Overall not to bad but I think I'm going to have to give it another visit before I can be entirely sure. Hit or Miss - that's the best I can say for Pepper's. We have actually had a few very good meals here which brought us back for more. Sadly our return visits were met with staff who would bring out water glasses holding the glasses from the same spots you would drink from, or bring plates of food with scum on their fingers leaving an impression on your plate - both of these took my appetite away and made me forget about any return until some friend would invite us once again. Quick review: Drinks: Make sure to order beer or other prepared beverages as it is quite rare to find someone who can mix a good Mule, Bloody Mary, or most drink staples. On the occasion you do find that one good mixologist - it's a treat and you may want to call an Uber or Lyft and tip well! Food: This is the one area where the talent in the back doesn't match up to the service in the front. There are times when the food is absolutely outstanding and yet it's delivered by someone who doesn't really care so it isn't delivered at it's prime or the presentation is sadly screwed up as mentioned above. Other times we've had great service and the meals were lacking flavor or anything special. I don't really understand why they can't get this right. In past restaurants where I've worked it took great leaders to make sure we all delivered a highly satisfying experience (food & service), perhaps that's what's lacking here. It's a run of the mill bar and grill. It could be a little more unique if they pumped up the service and changed the sitting arrangement. Metal tables in a big open square creates ma loud and unappealing atmosphere. Bars can be loud yet comforting and homey. I would have given it another star but the atmosphere is not nearly as pleasant as it could be. I had shrimp that was really great and onion soup. The soup was not great. My husband got a monte cristo sandwich, a meal he has only eaten once before. No comment there. I wouldn't try it and he doesn't know what they should taste like. But, we think it was executed well. Peppers has had pretty good food that last several times we have been there but every time we have gone here for brunch the service has been very poor. We arrived this morning at 10:45 and were told it was at least a 15 minute wait when there were 8 open tables. Not sure if this is a staffing issue but it is NEVER good to have guests waiting especially when there are several open tables ready to be sat at. This place is awesome! And owned by locals that are doing it right. I had the breakfast burger and my wife had the brisket nachos. Perfect smoke on the shoulder bacon and brisket, and the hamburger tasted awesome. I have been to peppers grille few times at this point and always get a great quality food and amazing service!
