This place had a lot of hype when it relocated a few years ago. My husband and I tried it and while the food then was decent, it took two hours to eat dinner. We've since gone back, wanting to give the hype of a new restaurant a chance to die down, and it's still just ok. Nothing notable for us personally, and while I can sometimes have a sophisticated palate, I do love a good burger. The burgers here, however, are nothing special. Flies. Flies. FLIES!!! Every single time we go to this restaurant (which has been twice because we wanted to give them another chance), the place is just INFESTED with flies everywhere!!! We kept a menu nearby us because we used it as a fly swatter (and I ended up getting 6 of them and there were still SO MANY MORE FLIES!!!) It was absolutely disgusting and gross and if there are so many flies in the front where customers eat, I can only imagine how gross it is in the back where the food is actually being prepared. So, so GROSS!!! The second time we went was during the fall because we thought the restaurant owners would have had a better handle on the fly situation (since the first time we went was during the summer). Oh my goodness. During the Fall, there were JUST AS MANY flies in the restaurant even still!! So gross and disgusting. A fly landed on my meal just as the waitress dropped it off at our table. I saw the fly land. The waitress saw the fly land. We met eyes after we both noticed the fly had landed on my plate. Yet, she did absolutely nothing about it. No getting me a new plate of food. No comping my meal (even though I didn't eat any of it). Nothing. Just so gross. We will NOT be giving Peppers a third chance. read more

The delicious Monte Cristo sandwich is hard to find. They make the best ever. The sweet potato fries are the perfect choice to go with the sandwich. The portions are so big I share with my husband. We eat here often. read more

This is one of the most disappointing meals we've ever had. The buffalo wings had no heat whatsoever. The salads were just bland. My husband ordered the prime rib and it came out actually raw. He had ordered it medium rare, but it literally wasn't cooked. He asked for it to be a little more done and we're pretty sure they microwaved it. It came back gray throughout. He had also ordered Brussels sprouts as a side and instead of telling us they were out, they just brought him a side of watery yellow squash. I had the firecracker shrimp and again, no heat whatsoever, even when I dipped it in the Sriracha sauce. The server was nice enough, but not attentive. Waited fifteen minutes after waiting ten minutes to get seated for a waitperson to show up. A number passed by, but wouldn't even make eye contact. I understand that things are going to be slower during the pandemic, but this was ridiculous. Left without seeing a waitperson, so I can't comment on the food. read more

Knowing that restaurants are at a disadvantage with no indoor dining we decided to try them out on more time to help support. My order took an additional 22 minutes longer than what was suggested, when I came in to check to see how much longer it would be..... My food was actually already bagged up and sitting on the counter. I took my food home and one of the entrees was missing. I called back to see if they would refund just that entree, they suggested I just come in to pick up the order, I let the waitress know I live about 15 minutes away and I just decided to make some thing at home instead and I would just like a refund just for that entree. They told me the manager would call me first thing the next day to credit me. Two days went by so I called back just to follow up, again I was told the manager would call me back. It's been five days since my order and still have not heard back from the manager. I know these are crazy times so I try to give compassion in all scenarios, with that said I do believe if a customer has to go out of their way more than once for section it shows poor management. Even though we didn't have the best experience we really hope that this restaurant continues to survive and wish the best for them. I called for takeout- only time here! I ordered " obnoxchos " and asked that the jalapeño be left on the side. I like very little spice, hot is not my thing. I was surprised to find a whole roasted jalapeño in the middle of the chips and other ingredients until I tasted the creamy cheese that " was on the side ". It was so hot and full of jalapeño no one in my house could eat it. I realize hot for one person isn't hot for everyone but I would have gladly chosen something different with a little warning about this just to go to a local place. The fact that my request for the jalapeño on the side was turned into the " very hot spicy cheese sauce " on the side tells me they realized I might not like hot! Food is excellent but the service is terrible! Our waitress took forever bringing our food, drinks, and the bill.

Came in on Sunday with a party of 8 at 11:10. They told me it would be 30 minute wait. They have two tables that seat six. They had pulled up another table to one of these tables and had a party of 8 or 9. The other table was vacant and could had another table pulled up to it but they chose to have us wait. We stood by as they continued to sear guests. At aboard 45 minutes they stopped seating people because kitchen was backed up. They had filled the other six person table just before the stoppage. At an hour I went in and saw the table they had been waiting to vacate was empty. The pulled the extra table from it and placed two extra chairs on the ends of the six person table. This is something they could have done from the beginning with the other large table. I went up to them and asked where the persons that sit on the end are supposed to put their food. The looked at me dumbfounded and brought the extra table back. I've never seen such ignorance on the front end of the restaurant. We waited an hour and everybody else on the list had been seated and eating. The waitress who seated us apologized and said it was simply because the kitchen was backed up. Next time we will head for Le Peep in Longmont where they understand how to manage crowds. read more

A friend and I went here on a Sunday for brunch and it didn't disappoint. The drink list included a bunch of original options that sounded appealing. We ended up getting bloody Mary's and our server suggested getting them with pickle vodka which was delicious. Both of our meals were good and arrived quickly. Great breakfast! Very good iced tea and wonderful mixed drinks. It was Sunday morning, there were seven of us. We were seated immediately by very friendly staff. We gave the drink order to our server, and it arrived right away. Our food was delicious. I had lemon blueberry pancakes and link sausages. The blueberry compote on my pancakes was fabulous. Others had a range of breakfast items, as well as burgers and lunch items. All agreed we will put it on our come-back list. read more

This place is a part of my top 10 worst food experiences ever. I had the bbq pork nachos and they were the worse thing ever made in this world. Eating food off a heavily walked sidewalk sounds tastier. My wife had the blue cheese burger, which to me was a huge greasy mess. Grease poured from the burger like a water fall. I tried a bite and felt like I ate straight crisco oil. I tried to wipe the grease from my face with my napkin and it wouldn't come off. My face felt so moisturized for the rest of the week. I guess the one star could be used for the free facial. This place is over priced and not worth it. Are here last night around 7:30, not very busy. Asked our server about the prime rib special, his response was it was a big piece and came with one side. I asked if he was sure and he said yes. He came back and said it came with two sides. We asked for salads, our prime rib came out, no salads. We asked about dinner rolls, was told they don't serve them. Got salads finally but hubby didn't want his after starting on the prime. For $20 a plate it was not worth it. Prime lacked flavor and the servers need some extra training. I work at a truck stop where u get 10 oz of prime, potato, vegetable, roll and soup or salad for $16.49. But we don't serve beer. read more

My family and I went there this morning and I ordered the traditional Benedict. After eating half the first English muffin I found large areas of mold in the bottom side. Looked at the bottom of the second muffin and same thing. The manager thought a " beer on me" coupon would be sufficient to settle me eating mold. Great spot for those of us in the Frederick/Firestone area. We have tried their breakfast and dinner menus and everything was really good! The only thing I found kind of odd was that the chicken tenders here were actually 2 giant chicken breasts, a bit unexpected and awkward. However, I MUST give this place a compliment for their music. We recently dined in for breakfast and had a terrible experience. It took a while for someone to even acknowledge us and to get seated at a table. Once we were acknowledged, the server dropped us off at the table and threw the silverware and menus down and ran off. We sat for a good 5-10 minutes before she came back to get our drink orders. In the meantime, there was construction going on inside while we were eating. That to me is unsanitary and not something I want going on while I am trying to have breakfast with my family. The two servers who were working were talking loud throughout the restaurant about personal things that everyone could hear. Our server also kept touching our baby. I've worked as a server in a restaurant before and I know that your hands are not always clean. When our food came out, the pancakes were rubber. We could barely even cut into them. The scrambled eggs were cold and tasted gross. This is the second time we have been here and we have had bad experiences both times. We live in the area and love to support our community but this place needs some help. read more

My husband and I had breakfast this morning and it was FANTASTIC! The food was delicious, the service was the best I've had in a loooooong time, and the restaurant was clean. We went back to Pepper Jack's last night. They seem to have worked out their opening jitters. We had their pretzel stick appetizer. The soft pretzels and the beer cheese dip was delicious! The chef came by and said next time we should try their firecracker shrimp app. So I definitely will. For dinner I had the green chili Mac and cheese. It was pretty tasty.
