LOVE THIS PLACE! We always order from here because it's one of the only local spots that has vegan cheese, and we always have amazing experiences. The pizza is so good every time, the delivery drivers are always so kind, and it's always delivered quickly. Tonight, I placed a delivery order online not realizing how close it was to their closing time, so I called to make sure it wasn't too late. The girl who answered the phone was so helpful and sweet, and she told me that the general manager would deliver it to me personally. He came so quickly and dropped of my pizza after they had closed, and he ran back out to his car to grab coupons to give to us. He was so sweet and pleasant and made our whole night. I had food delivered from the Montrose location to me at HCA hospital on Hermann Dr. My Mom had surgery that day and the hospital's cafeteria was closed for remodeling. I was looking for some food to have delivered to us. We ordered the large Pepperoni's Supreme pizza and a large Greek salad. The pizza was delivered hot and fresh with loads of toppings. The Greek salad was crisp and had the perfect amount of olives, cherub tomatoes, pepperoncinis and a large amount of feta. It came with two containers of the Greek dressing. I would definitely have this order from them again, but they had a good variety of other pizzas that caught my eye. One thing I liked while ordering online is that they allow you to pick two sauces. I stuck with the red sauce and the marinara as the base but would be tempted to change them up on a future order. All in all, the food was great, delivery was quick and for being left without very many options besides leaving the hospital to seek out food, I feel like we hit the jackpot!! read more

Meh, I've had way better pizza in Montrose. I saw some good reviews and this place is close to me but I don't think I'll be having it again. The sauce was watery, the pizza dough was Tough and dry, and the cheese was tasteless. The pizza crust was so limp at the middle it couldn't even support the toppings. It was like a sad, wet piece of dough. The pizza was supposed to have goat cheese, and it did, but boy howdy were they stingy with it! And for all that disappointment, there was a $2 delivery charge (which no other place does btw) and it came out to near $40 once tip was added. $40 for a large pizza and a salad? No, not even star charges that much! We order star weekly and get a large specialty pizza with salad and it's about $30...no delivery fee. We'll stick to star and pinks for now.... read more

I'm a serious pain when it comes to ordering food, but they were patient and helpful. They have phone-in, delivery, pick-up, counter service, and a drive thru. You can even order online. They make getting a pizza almost too easy - and I'm perfectly okay with that. My personal favorite - The Roasted Veggie Pizza with Italian Sausage on Gluten Free Crust. We've tried the Greek Salad (gotta have some veggies), Original Hot Wings, Over Roasted Wings, Supreme and the Pepperoni's Special pizza -- which were all equally satisfying. I've been here a few times now, so I can write an objective review. There's good here. First, they have a drive-thru window with pizza by the slice. Me likey. Second, although I'm not a vegan or have gluten sensitivity, I have to deal with people who have these types of dietary restrictions on a regular basis at my job. It's easy to get pizza for the whole group, due to their extensive menu, so I know that I can use them for catering. Third, their pizza sauce is pretty amazing. I don't, however, like the fact that they charge a delivery fee, when Star delivers for free (still trying to wrap my brain around that). Second, they're kinda spendy. Third, to me, their wings aren't anything to write home about -- they kinda reminded me of wings that I've had at Pizza Hut. Fourth, I've had two whack desserts from this establishment, which leads me to believe that I need to just not order dessert from here ever again. The first time was a cannoli, with a really grain-y filling and a chewy cannoli shell, that tasted overwhelmingly of cinnamon and little else. The second time was a cheesecake that was way too small for what they charge for it, AND, was so frozen that you could feel the ice crystals crunching in your mouth. It felt like they ordered it from some commercial bakery and just kept it in their freezer (like Olive Garden). I'll go back, cause the drive-thru is pretty awesome, but I'll just stick to the pizza. read more

For a quick slice of pie this is the place to be. My only complaint is that they close at midnight; if they were open when the bars close at 2:am then they'd definitely get another star. They usually keep three pizzas on the stove, hot and ready to serve. Their full menu includes subs, salads, apps and pizza by the slice or as a whole. I keep is simple with a slice of pepperoni and italian sausage. Every thing they make is with fresh ingredients and their staff is very friendly every time i visit. Its a small establishment, limited dining and drive-thru service, and they deliver. Parking can be tough in this tiny lot, and be careful when parking nearby. read more

First of all- the staff was SO friendly! I rode there on bike with some friends and sat at the little bar inside and the staff was happy to chat with us about their menu and made sure we were happy. Awesome. As far as the pizza goes: we ordered half Italiano Texano and half Hawaiian- both sides were delicious. You could tell the toppings were fresh, and aplenty. The Italiano Texano had just a small amount of goat cheese, but the amount was right for the number of toppings on the pizza- it blended well. For dessert we had cannoli's- they smelled amazing and tasted event better AND we watched them fill the shell with filling in front of our eyes. None of that dreaded soggy cannoli mess. Very average pizza, nothing special. I came here with my daughter for lunch on a weekday to get some pizza-by-the-slice. They were not extremely busy and only had half of a cheese pizza ready to sell by the slice. We had to wait on some Pepperoni (namesake) pizza to be cooked. We did love the branded root beer and lemonade. They were both great. The parking, drive-thru, and inside seating is extremely limited. Before today, I would have given them 2 stars, but they just dropped to a 1. I and my coworkers have ordered from this location many times in the past and never had trouble until a recently. The food is decent for the price, but we have a very short list of places that can deliver to our busy office. So we buy from them more for convenience than the quality of their menu. The only thing I like a lot is The Napa salad with chicken. Everything else is meh or cold when it gets here. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered my usual - The Napa salad with chicken... and they forgot the chicken. I called and the girl was very nice and said that they could bring out the chicken right then or I could get a free salad on my next order. I opted for the free one. Well, I just called to order it and they confirmed it was free, but I would still have to order $15 worth of food for delivery. So, I added an appetizer to make the total over $15 including the salad. Nope, they said that I had to order $15 ABOVE and beyond the price of my salad. Why would they bring my chicken on a separate trip the same day without an extra charge but not honor bringing my free salad on a different day? I should have taken the option for them to bring my chicken to me right then! The girl was still very polite, as was I... but she sounded young and I imagine the manager she was getting information was too. I could have stayed on the phone to explain where their thinking was illogical. I know that it's difficult to make the right decision while under pressure. As a business owner, I teach my employees to think what is fair and right for the customer. I didn't ask for anything that hadn't already been promised to me. I actually thought that after I declined to order, they would snap to what they had done and call back. I was mistaken. So, I lost $3.50 worth of chicken but they just lost any chance of future orders from everyone at my business. read more

I'm actually a fan of Pepperoni's pizza. I wasn't sure what to expect because it is a drive thru pizza chain. I had been here before, but I needed a refresher since it had been a while. The service is quick. What I love most is that they sell individual pizza slices. We ordered the pepperoni, cheese, margherita, and buffalo chicken. They do vary in selection, but they always have the pepperoni and cheese. The pizza wasn't overly greasy, which I liked. The buffalo chicken was a little spicy, but I was able to tolerate it. The tomato sauce is also pretty flavorful and seasoned well. My favorite part? The crust! I love getting to the end because I believe in saving the best for last. I think this might be my favorite pizza place. I've tried several in the area, and it's been the best so far. My favorite pizza is their Hawaiian, but I've also had their pepproni pizza and their meatball sub sandwich. I don't usually like meatball subs, but this one was delicious. Mozzarella sticks are good, too. I've gone back 2 or 3 times since first trying this place and will continue to return. It's not a good place to dine-in, although there are a few seats available indoor and out. There's a drive-thru window if you order for carry-out and they also deliver. Today- I ordered through the Yelp app and was disappointed when my pizza got here and there was no rang or garlic dip as I requested in the instructions box. I let the driver know and he was unsure of what to say. I still tipped him and let him go on his way.
