It wasn't bad.. but it wasn't the best! When you pull up there's more than enough parking, it does share a parking lot with painting with a twist, but I think you will only have a problem on the weekends, they also have 3-4 reserved parking just for them, but again it's more than enough. When you walk in you will order at a kiosk, so be mindful that you will need a card. The pizza was pretty decent, I'll definitely have to go back to try something else. The pasta was very dry and bland. I wish it had more seasoning and wasn't so dry. But hey it is what it is. In total I paid 43.28. Next time I think I'll sit in and eat and definitely try another pizza.
The cheese is cashew cheese. Unlike Homeslice Pizza vegan cheese that sticks to the roof of your mouth, Meeks vegan cheese easily slides - almost too easily. The crust/dough is chewy on the inside yet still has a decent crunch on the outside. That might be the highlight of the pizza. Everyone was impressed with the pizza's taste for being vegan. I highly suggest Meek's.
Ever since I stopped eating dairy, pizza was the one thing I felt left out of to eat. I've been eating Meek's since the beginning at the food hall and I can honestly say it's gotten more delicious. I'm so glad they got a restaurant where you can order to go or enjoy there while playing some of the many games the offer. This is great for hanging with friends or even family. The do self service with ordering but they get your order out as soon as possible! The pizza is top tier and that includes the crust!! The Greek Freak is my favorite right now, it does change lol. S/O to this Black owned business doing vegan pizza the delicious way!
The service for pickup was great the people where very nice! But the pizza had way to much sauce in my opinion. I had to scrap some off because i felt like there was more sauce than toppings & pizza crust. I ended up getting the vegan pizza crust With mushrooms + bell pepper I also got the vegan ranch which was really good but couldn't use as much because the pizza itself already had a bunch of sauce.
This pizza is DELICIOUS and satisfying! Bought this and took it to a family get together and everyone loved it! The crust was so chewy and crisp, the flavor was poppin and it lacked nothing at all. The customer service was excellent. Wait time was about 15 minutes for 2 X-Large pizzas, and cost about $60. Clean atmosphere w good music. U can order ahead - I just didn't this time. The smell was so good I had to grab a slice in the way home. I'm coming back to try everything.
So good I downloaded yelp while eating, just to leave a review. I got the Fareal Jack (no cilantro) and it was AMAZING! Crust was perfectly fluffy, jackfruit was bbq'd to absolute perfection, and they're not stingy with the toppings! I've had a LOT of experience with vegan cheese and vegan pizza (17 years worth) and their cheese really hits the mark! It's delicious and complementary to the flavors of the toppings without stealing the show. If you're looking for vegan cheese that acts like animal cheese, you won't find that here, but personally I'm glad they don't try to imitate. The vibe inside is cute. They had great music playing and fun pizza decor. Our server (I think named Demetrius) was super friendly and welcoming! I can't dock stars bc the pizza was TOO good but I hated the lil kiosk ordering moment. I would so much rather talk to a person who can recommend me stuff and talk me through things. (Don't get me wrong the server let us know we could ask questions, but it's NOT the same)
I wish I could give 5 stars because I do love getting my pizza from here and enjoy the taste. However I have come here near a dozen times and from reading the comments as well I'd have to say the consistency/training here needs to be improved. I decided to pay extra and get an XL this time around to have a bigger pizza and it's like they used the same amount of dough and just stretched out the pizza the extra 2 inches which just made it extremely thin and not up to par. Hopefully this can be improved but until then I would recommend just getting the regular sized pizza which has a good crust and thickness and save your money because it is pricey overall, this was $35 with tip.

This place changed my mind about vegan food. Meek's Vegan Pizza was honestly way better than I expected. The restaurant has a fun vibe, family friendly, games at the tables, and it felt welcoming. Parking wasn't an issue either which is always a plus near downtown. The Meathead calzone was my favorite. Super cheesy and filling. The oyster mushroom wings had a nice crunch and flavor, and the stuffed mini bell peppers were surprisingly good. I also got a chance to speak with the owner and you can tell there's real passion behind the business. If you're vegan or just curious, I'd recommend checking this spot out. read more
I finally came here with my parents after church. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and was waiting on my mum to bring me here since he said she would and because she raved about it so much. We dined in around noon and the restaurant was empty. The lady sitting at the booth wasn't very helpful. I have no idea what her role was. I thought she was rude since she raised her voice at me when I asked her how to use the kiosk. Yes, you order from a kiosk and then the food is brought out by the kitchen staff. The water is in a alkaline tank that I had to get myself. We paid through the kiosk. Again, the lady didn't do anything but sit on her phone. Utensils were set out with the cups. When the pizza came out, it was tasty, but not over the top good. A frozen Daiya pizza from Kroger's would have suffice too. Meek's pizza was well seasoned and delicious, but wasn't cheap for medium sized. My dad wasn't a huge fan of the pizza only because it wasn't slaughtered and murdered animals. My mum loved it. My parents ordered the Caesar salad. My mum let me try a little and it was extremely salty. My parents loved it, but it was too salty for me to finish. So salty you'd get high blood pressure if I ate more of it. I don't like the restaurant concept due to it not being a traditional pizza parlor with wait staff. The kiosk still had the audacity to ask for a tip. I'm not tipping a robot when I did major of the work. I probably won't be back since the pizza was on the high side of pricing and it's in Downtown. With traffic, I'm looking at 46 minute drive from where I live now. read more

I'm still going to give Meek's 5 stars because I do "like the pizza" and love the stuffed bell peppers and their fries. The pizza is too cheesy though. Can't enjoy the pizza like I used to. The calzone is also tasty. read more

I am so glad that Meek's is back in their own location. I love the new additions to the menu. The new location is really nice. I like the ambience. It is large and roomy. There's booths at the back. This is my first time trying one of the salads. It was really good. I really like the dressing. I also had a calzone for the first time that was delicious. The crust was crunchy and flaky, inside it was soft and it was filled with the deep in the heart of Texas Barbecue sauce , smoked jackfruit, onions, jalapeños, and of course the amazing cashew cheese sauce. It was really good. We also ordered the deep in the heart attack pizza, which was also very good. Pizza gets a 9.8 out of 10 I have yet to try everything on the menu. I know they also just added breadsticks recently so I have to go back and try those. Meek's has probably one of the best vegan ranch sauces that I've ever had. I wish he would bottle it. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Customer service is always a 10 out of 10. read more

Allow me to present to you my choice place of Vegan pizza. Found in this nice quaint little spot of 3rd Ward in Blodgett Food Hall. It's within walking distance of TSU. But a It's set up with 2 kiosk for ordering from several restaurants. There are 2 displays that allow you to track the readiness of your order. Overall, the pizza which I had a small craving for was pretty awesome. I also, grabbed a couple of the stuffed poblanos wThey have done in as well, similar to a food court, however it was a bit warm. Although, I do appreciate them putting portable air conditioners to help. Either way, I will definitely be returning. Until the next time, Bye-Bye! read more

Hands down the best vegan pizza I've ever had. I ordered the meat lovers pizza and let me tell youuuu it was soooo good. If you have been craving pizza but haven't been able to eat any because you are lactose or vegan this is the place! Meeks vegan pizza is serviced out of Blodgett food hall. I ordered my pizza online via their website eith an estimated ready time of 24 mins. It was ready and hot in 27 mins. I highly recommend you give this place a try! I'll def be back! read more

Now, I'm still upset about the 2 hour wait(no over exaggeration) but decided not to penalize them for it since the customer service and taste of the food outweighed my hunger pains that day. I'm just starting my vegan transition and since this place is black owned and I really wanted pizza, had to try it. A friend (non vegan) and I drove 45 minutes to Meeks. Ordered food at the kiosk (it's a town hall with different restaurants), waited 2 hours for the pizza and stuffed bell peppers(to die for btw) and I must say, you have to try it. Everything was so delicious and even my friend loved it. I ordered the Plug's Lawyer Pizza, sooo freakin good. read more

Extremely slow service. We ordered in advance and even after we got a notification it was ready we still had to wait an additional 30minutes. So a total of 1.5hrs for 1 pizza. While I can appreciate it's vegan and always love supporting small black owned businesses- the high price, the mediocre taste and long wait was NOT worth it. read more

I can't believe it's not cheese! For my 100th review I was determined to give it to a new Black-owned business. Although I am an unapologetic meat-a-tarian, Meek's vegan cheese pizza made me think twice about going at least vegetarian. Seriously, the cheese pizza was no different in taste and maybe even more flavorful than other artisan pizzas. Even my kids loved it! Definitely give it a try if you are looking for a delicious and healthy pizza option. read more

Seen this place on Facebook from a Vegan page. Drove here from Temple, Texas (3hrs) excited to try this pizza that looked so good. Well despite the 1.5 hours it took to Get the pizza and after a hour wait for her to tell us she didn't know how much longer and then 30 minutes after that to get a text that says your order is ready. After getting said pizza that was now barley warm I can say that this pizza was good! It taste legit! I've had other vegan pizza I wasn't a fan of, but this was great. I bet it would be way better hot. I got mine with the cashew cheese sauce and it is wonderful the other option was coconut sauce. I did get the meat pizza add mushrooms the toppings were evenly distributed which was nice. I can't say I wouldn't go here again, I would definitely pre-order online if it works at least 30-45 minutes or more early. The wait was just pure ridiculous. But it was worth it. You can order on the premises there are vending machines and table and benches. read more
