Great job! Just great job on the pizza , on the ambiance you get received with just another level of customer service, interaction with the boss man. Super impressed by the quality of the food , tasted super fresh , just perfectly on the portions and everything on the food. Only only downside to this location is the area , but since I'm from the area I'm used to the different moods this area can bring lol , but the other downside is the pricing of the food, it's pretty much on the middle and high level on pricing but it's super worth your $$ u will not be disappointed with this place. And I'm one rarely to leave reviews to establishments read more

Champion Pizza - Pepperoni with roasted garlic. So dang good! - Pizza Near Me - Houston, Texas

The pizza was so delicious and yummy better than most pizzas I've ever had so I would most definitely recommend this place

A gentleman named John was wonderful over the phone . I had specific instructions that GrubHub didn't offer, and he was more than happy to fulfill my request. I'm truly excited to receive my order. read more

So I turn onto rampart Street from Westpark and about a quarter mile down the road is an unassuming strip mall and sitting in the middle is Champion Pizza. Walk in and it was a one man show this afternoon. The gentleman greeted me with a smile and my pizza was ready and waiting just out the oven. I explained this was my first time over here, new to Houston, trying to find my go to pizza spot...I'll spare you any further delay, I think I found it!!! I ordered a large sausage and pepperoni, can't mess that up. I come from the NE and have had plenty of the best pizza in the country in NY & NJ. I'm from the Chesapeake Bay region, and this is the closest thing I've had to my favorite 3 Brothers Pizza back home. The sauce is savory not sweet, the Italian sausage is on point, the pepperoni is good, cheese is better than expected (got some great cheese pulls) and the crust . You wanna talk about a diamond in the rough. I imagine the area has impacted the ratings but you're not dining in so the ratings here should be solely based on the food. I only had pizza, I would give this a 4.5. Customer Service was outstanding, I should have got the guys name, he knows how to make a solid pizza. I also got a look at the kitchen/prep area and it looked very clean and organized. They have been going since 2001 so they are doing something right, they have a new loyal customer I would have posted the pizza but it's gone read more

I went for the first time yesterday. It's one of the best pizza experiences I've ever had. Service was fast and professional. The ingredients tasted fresh. There was enough sauce evenly spread throughout the pizza dough, which seems like a challenge for a lot of pizza makers around here. I'm a pretty harsh food critic so it was a pleasure to find something that met all my expectations. Also the two liter of Sprite I ordered was literally ice cold, which was much appreciated. The pizza tasted like it was made with love. Thank you! read more

Not good. Not good at all. Hardly any sauce. Overpriced even with inflation. Better choices in area.

I'm new to Houston and found an app that helps locate local pizzerias. I decided to order from this place and OMG, it's delicious. The crust crust too thin or too fluffy. The ingredients are fresh. I would've given them a full 5 Stars, but my cheesecake didn't come with strawberries. Which made me sad, but whatever, the pizza was bomb. read more

Champion Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Houston, Texas

Champion pizza is always yummy! They deliver fast and have great prices and coupons. Last time I ordered, it was a family meal deal consisting of their XXL pizza and wings but I overlooked that there was a 2nd pizza included. They called me to ask what I wanted for the large 2 topping pizza. How honest was that? Most places would have ignored my stupidity! Thank you Champion! read more

Trying to get out of my pizza comfort zone, I searched for another pizza place near the galleria that would deliver. I came upon Champion. The free delivery charge was appreciated. I ordered a medium pizza. I wish they had a regular Deluxe pizza, because the additional toppings that probably made it a "SUPER" deluxe - I dont like. So, I got pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, spinach, jalapenos, and garlic. The pizza is mediocre. It's cheesy, saucy, and the crust is good. The delivery guy had no cheese, or peppers - which I would think would be standard take-out supplies he should always carry on him. Overall, I'm not super impressed. If I HAD TO eat from here again - I wouldn't put up a fight, but I wont be voluntarily returning any time soon, either... read more

TL;DR - Pizza taste fine but poor online order comprehension and customer service needs work. REALLY specify how you want your pizza in the Special Instructions box to be safe. Ordered online from Menufy for a friend who was having a bad day. Got the special, which was a cheese pizza with 3 toppings. I ordered a Jumbo and selected "2nd half" for all 3 toppings; basically cheese 1 side, toppings the other. Pizza arrived to their place but the driver I guess couldn't find the entrance cause they called me asking if there was a gate so my friend had to go down and get the pizza. Upon return, the pizza was discovered to not be as I ordered. It had the toppings over the whole pizza. It was specifically requested of me to order it as stated above. I called them and they offered to replace it with another Jumbo at full price and then an offer of a Medium cheese for $8 which would act as the "1st half" part of what the Jumbo was supposed to be; only cheese. In addition to another 30-40 minute wait time again I'd assume. In short, they didn't know if they should leave the 1st half just only cheese and the other half with toppings. Even though this is exactly what I selected online. So rather than CALL to confirm, they just went and topped the whole pizza instead. This was in no way my mistake and I've never had a company unable to figure out a 1st half and 2nd half situation like this. I conversed with my friend and they suggested I just try and get a refund. So, I called back and now I'm being offered the medium cheese for free. I'm just frustrated at this point and just want a refund. They say it was an online order so it's out of their hands. So, now I'm going back and forth with Menufy. Don't know if I'll be ordering from them again without some sort of assurance this won't happen again. read more

Worst service ever! First time customer wanted to try this pizza because of the 4 starts reviews Let's start with that i ordered the pizza through the Yelp app for delivery the pizza supposed to be at my house within 45-60 min (which is still a long time on Sunday afternoon) the delivery guy got here after almost 90 min! For pizza! And I called twice to check on it Anyway we got the pizza but guess what.. WRONG PIZZA!! Wouldn't recommend read more

I don't know why this place doesn't have better reviews because it's delicious! I'm usually a deluxe pizza person but their pepperoni is fantastic! Also try the fettuccine. read more

This is a great place to hang out waiting or have your food delivered. Never been disappointed! These guys are so nice but be careful because they can sell you anything. :) Right now lasagna is my favorite or thin crust meat lovers pizza. Salad is good too or chicken sandwich. My favorite place in this area. Also, visit Simon next door at Yolos to make your visit even more enjoyable - wow! What a selection! You only live "ones" as they say. Go now or as soon as you can. I love it! Great food and great people! read more

The pizza is pretty good it's cheesy it's big it's greasy and it's from the hood not going to lie it's better than some other places the wings are awesome and my boy hooks it up so when you see this review I expect a hook up LOL but really it's pretty good and cheap definitely worth it read more

Very average and I only ordered the pizza for the convenience. I ordered delivery and while they don't have a delivery charge, there's a minimum delivery of $12.99. So I ordered a Hawaiian pizza that came out to $12.98. Do you know they literally made me order an additional item even though I was 1 penny off from the minimum delivery!? I mean seriously, is this a joke? How cheap can you get. So I decided to order 5 "hot wings." Most disgusting wings I've ever tasted. I had to pour my own hot wing sauce over them because they were literally DRY baked wings. The pizza itself was not horrible, but definitely not life changing. Can't say I would ever order from this place again because the whole $12.98 vs $12.99 debacle still pisses me off! read more

Delivery took 1.5 hours. I was very HANGRY. Delivery driver was definitely high as a kite. Pizza was hot though. So that was a plus. Not sure if it was good or if I was just really hungry, but I ate it really fast. read more

It was my wife and eyes first time ordering from here. I'm not a huge pizza fan but even I was impressed. Their pizza is really fresh, not too saucy, and definitely cheesy. Their prices are reasonable, and the toppings are top notch. I really like their crust, which is hard for me to say with pizza. We would definitely be ordering from here again. I did order a strawberry cake but unfortunately I can't tell you how it tastes due to my delivery drivers and competence. I ordered through yelp eat 24. I never received my cake. It wasn't the restaurants fault though. read more

Fantastic food! Philly cheese steak was one of the best I've ever had in Houston. Really juicy, but could have used a bit more meat. The cheese on the pizza is phenomenal. Haven't really liked cheese pizza since I was a kid but had some of my daughter's and was blown away. They deliver too!!! No question, I will keep on ordering from them. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thank you!!!! read more

Delivery was quick and the pizza was very good. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future. I normally have a great experience with them but not this time. Took 1.5 to get here with no call that it would be late then the pizza was jacked up smushed to the top of the box. Contacted eat24 and the would only give me half my money back so ya not ordering from them again. read more

Ordered champion pizza after a reviews from yelp. On uber eats it was a good price for coke, 6 wings and pizza and I thought what I deal but little did I know it wasn't. I got my pizza overall okay, a bit sweet for my liking but that's personal preference, the topping were a bit light. The real problem was the wings, since none came (although paid for) they said it was a computer wouldn't be able to do anything and the person was rude. Worst part was he commented that he knew the special but couldn't honor it (more than happy to keep the fee though). Overall I would not return or recommend this to anybody. I like ordering from local places to support the community, but champion pizza was more concerned about keeping the $5 for a missed order than customer service. read more

Everything we have ordered from this establishment is great tasting and thoughtfully prepared. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak/beef and wow!!! It was so tasty, bread was not soggy and the meat and veggies were still hott! I just wish the bag of chips were a larger size, but that's nothing. My husband and I live outside their delivery range but thanks to Grubhub we can have our order in 45-55mins. The order is always right. We had their Supreme Pizza tastes great! The Chicken Alfredo I say is the best pasta selection. I've had the Shrimp and the Spaghetti and the Lasagna all delicious!!! Side Salads are great and the bread with the order is always fresh!! Nothing but good things about this place, I've never dined in but I can tell by the delivery of such wonderful tasting food the establishment cares about their customers. Ninety minutes is too long to wait for pizza. The store listed our order as "out for delivery " for 30 minutes when it hadn't even left the shop yet. Lying about an order status isn't ok. When the order arrived the side of jalapeño poppers was wet and mushy and missing the ranch dip. We will not be ordering again. read more

I've only used their delivery, never sat down at their restaurant but I have to say I'm pretty fond of their pizza. It's pretty reminiscent of what I ate growing up and, as a New York Italian, that's saying something. It doesn't get 5 stars because that honor is only reserved for pizza that matches what I had when i was in Italy. They do make a tasty pie though, and offer anchovies (i get that not everyone likes 'em, but I figure that any pizza joint worth their salt should at least offer 'em) read more

My fiancé and I order from Champion all the time and have never had a bad experience! The staff and delivery drivers are always very friendly and they always get our order correct. Delivery orders always arrive quickly and they are good about letting us know when they're busy and to expect a delay. The temperature of the food is always appropriate-hot food is hot, cold food is cold-when it arrives and the ingredients are always incredibly fresh. This is definitely one of our favorite places to order from and we highly recommend it! read more
