You can make your own pizza with lots of different NOT normal ingredients like different sauces such as sweet bbq, garlic pesto, creamy alfredo, etc. Many different cheeses like gorgonzola, asiago, feta, ricotta, etc. Toppings such as pickles, broccoli, artichoke, roasted corn, etc. Then finishing sauces like balsamic fig glaze, sriracha ranch, etc. all kinds of different things you can't get form the normal pizza places. Definitely the worst MOD location I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few locations around Texas. First off, the guy who greeted us (and also made our pizzas) wasn't very friendly. He was also stingy with the toppings, which was unusual and irritating. The worst part was that their veggie and meat containers were allllllllll kinds of contaminated with the items surrounding it!!! Thank god they started placing the Plant Based Sausage next to the veggies, otherwise it would've been contaminated with actual meat and I wouldn't have been able to eat it as I'm a vegetarian. The only veggies I had him place on my pizza were the Plant Based Sausage, Roasted Red Peppers, Spinach and Diced Tomatoes. But because of the containers being a mess and contaminated, I also ended up with a bunch of Green Bell Peppers and one solo Jalapeño that I did NOT want. Yea it could have been better. One the pizza was light on ingredients. Two they let kids up on the counter and hover over the toppings, three not much flavor in the pizza. Very solid MOD Pizza location. I'm a huge fan of MOD just for fast, filling service and this location is probably my favorite in Houston. The parking is very easy and the employees never give you a hard time about asking for more toppings. My experience with this MOD was def the worst! I normally go to the MOD near Galleria and I'll def stick with that location. 1. The staff member dropped the sharpie multiple times and picked it up and continue to write customers names on the paper. This is an issue in my opinion because he DID NOT CHANGE THE GLOVES... yet continued to make pizza. Lord knows what's on the workers shoes and the floor. ( I made him change gloves prior to making my pizza.) 2. The pizza monitor kept throwing the pizza around. She placed one pizza in the box and completely threw the pizza and box on the floor. The pizza didn't fall out the box but she proceed to give a customer this pizza. She did this multiple times while I was sitting waiting for my pizza. 3. The pizza monitor answer store phones, went to the back and got her personal phone and proceeded to have a conversation. I am not sure if she was speaking with management or not but all this happened and she didn't change gloves not 1 time!! I'm not sure how often she sanitize her personal phone but the gloves should have been changed after she touched her personal phone. Just my opinion. 4. I really enjoyed my Dillon (margherita pizza) and Caesar salad, both Mod size. I added black olives and red onions to both and balsamic glaze to my pizza. They both were amazing. My family and I have been dining at this location since it opened. We were happy to have a family friendly pizza place so close to our home (since Pink's Pizza closed) and have come here many times. We loved coming here for quick and easy family dinner after taking our kiddo to the playground, library, and events at the park. I noticed issues with plates not being clean from early on but still supported them. It's been few months since we visited this restaurant and, oh boy...they've gone downhill. Service was never stellar but today, it's as though none of the employees wanted to be there. My salad was inedible because leaves were legitimately brown and yucky. I thought it's only a few so I started picking them out and it ended up being a plateful. I took them to the front to show them and the guy looked at me like he has no idea why I'm holding up a plate of inedible lettuce. He then asked if he should place more lettuce on my plate so I had to ask him to place replacement lettuce in a new bowl. My kiddo was eating the salad before I started spotting dead leaves... I know it's not gourmet but shouldn't they serve lettuce that's not brown or inedible? And please wash your plates better. They're still dirty. I walked out and told my family we're never returning. I get the Jasper pizza every time. I've only picked the pizza up and take it home. Two times my husband has brought it home and it was lukewarm, definitely not hot. Thought it was just him doing other things before getting home. I decided that I was going to pick it up myself yesterday. I ordered it online for it to be ready ASAP. It was to be ready at 1:32. I called them at 1:37 to tell them I was in a parking space (took me a full 2 minutes to find a spot). They put it in the car and left. I felt the box and again it was lukewarm. So disappointing!
