Definitely the worst MOD location I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few locations around Texas. First off, the guy who greeted us (and also made our pizzas) wasn't very friendly. He was also stingy with the toppings, which was unusual and irritating. The worst part was that their veggie and meat containers were allllllllll kinds of contaminated with the items surrounding it!!! Thank god they started placing the Plant Based Sausage next to the veggies, otherwise it would've been contaminated with actual meat and I wouldn't have been able to eat it as I'm a vegetarian. The only veggies I had him place on my pizza were the Plant Based Sausage, Roasted Red Peppers, Spinach and Diced Tomatoes. But because of the containers being a mess and contaminated, I also ended up with a bunch of Green Bell Peppers and one solo Jalapeño that I did NOT want. My daughter and I dined-in on Monday. The crew were all pleasant, and the guy who put our pizza together did a phenomenal job! Unfortunately, after we left, our stomachs started to churn really bad. It lasted for about 24-hours of constant potty runs and queasiness. We figured it had to be bcz the Bellaire location doesn't seem to have nearly as much traffic as the Galleria location, so everything sits out longer. Yea it could have been better. One the pizza was light on ingredients. Two they let kids up on the counter and hover over the toppings, three not much flavor in the pizza. Very solid MOD Pizza location. I'm a huge fan of MOD just for fast, filling service and this location is probably my favorite in Houston. The parking is very easy and the employees never give you a hard time about asking for more toppings. Gonna give them an "A-ok" because they were relatively quick, the place was clean, toppings were good but the crust was so-so. You choose your own toppings for a fixed price, so if you end up not liking your pizza, you really only have yourself to blame. If you get a lot of toppings it's a super good deal. My experience with this MOD was def the worst! I normally go to the MOD near Galleria and I'll def stick with that location. 1. The staff member dropped the sharpie multiple times and picked it up and continue to write customers names on the paper. This is an issue in my opinion because he DID NOT CHANGE THE GLOVES... yet continued to make pizza. Lord knows what's on the workers shoes and the floor. ( I made him change gloves prior to making my pizza.) 2. The pizza monitor kept throwing the pizza around. She placed one pizza in the box and completely threw the pizza and box on the floor. The pizza didn't fall out the box but she proceed to give a customer this pizza. She did this multiple times while I was sitting waiting for my pizza. 3. The pizza monitor answer store phones, went to the back and got her personal phone and proceeded to have a conversation. I was looking for something good to eat and didn't have a taste for anything (ugh...) but there is a new Mod in my neighborhood so I decided to stop by! I really enjoyed my Dillon (margherita pizza) and Caesar salad, both Mod size. I added black olives and red onions to both and balsamic glaze to my pizza. They both were amazing. I commend the staff on making all the orders they had coming in because there were MANY and they had such an encouraging team spirit, encouraging each other as they kept the pizzas coming at record time. This location consistently serves pizza with large popped crust bubbles with no cheese- unacceptable. I used to work for a pizza joint years ago and would have never served a pizza like this. My family and I have been dining at this location since it opened. We were happy to have a family friendly pizza place so close to our home (since Pink's Pizza closed) and have come here many times. We loved coming here for quick and easy family dinner after taking our kiddo to the playground, library, and events at the park. I noticed issues with plates not being clean from early on but still supported them. It's been few months since we visited this restaurant and, oh boy...they've gone downhill. Service was never stellar but today, it's as though none of the employees wanted to be there. My salad was inedible because leaves were legitimately brown and yucky. I thought it's only a few so I started picking them out and it ended up being a plateful. I took them to the front to show them and the guy looked at me like he has no idea why I'm holding up a plate of inedible lettuce. He then asked if he should place more lettuce on my plate so I had to ask him to place replacement lettuce in a new bowl. My kiddo was eating the salad before I started spotting dead leaves... I know it's not gourmet but shouldn't they serve lettuce that's not brown or inedible? And please wash your plates better. They're still dirty. I walked out and told my family we're never returning. I visited this location last week and ordered my pizza because I do enjoy their pizza. The female employee (I did not catch her name) was cutting my pizza and another females pizza. I heard her call my name and walked up to pick up my pizza. I asked for Buffalo sauce on top with ranch on the side. Well she accidentally put it on the other females pizza and when I stopped her immediately to tell her that was not my pizza she responded to me very rudely saying "I asked you if you were this (name)" It was an honest mistake and there was probably a miscommunication but the employee did not have to be so rude and speak to me in such a manner. I was not even rude or mean to her, I talked to her normally like I would with anyone. The customer service needs to improve because I have never dealt with a rude employee at the other MOD locations. read more
