Worst customer service I've ever experienced. My friend had a BOGO coupon and wanted to redeem it in store and showed it to worker yet got to the cashier and they refused to let us redeem it because online only even when we said we could place the order online and just take the pizza we made. As for the pizza itself, it was alright, nothing special. This experience put a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Fast and good! I really love Blaze but I dont have a location near my home. Since I was by the HCU campus I picked up some dinner and it was a good choice. I like building my own pizza to get the crust and all the toppings I want. I chose pepperoni, pineapple, pickles, and jalapeños. Unusual but delicious combo. Staff was cool and service was fast. read more

This is a my favorite build-your-own pizza place. The ingredients are fresh. Just wish they would be more generous with the toppings so I don't have to keep asking them to add more! Also, bring back the salami! read more

Horrible service. You will feel rushed. Nothing about how anything is priced makes sense. I tried to order and got to like one topping on one of my pizzas and just stopped ordering, walked away. They were very rude to my friend before me which just added to the anxiety. I dont recommend anyone going here and the reviews speak for themselves. Too many negative reviews and they are all spot on. I also never heard an apology from them. read more

First time at Blaze and the staff was helpful & nice. It took a few minutes after I was in line to place my order, but it gave me time to stare at the options and all of the toppings on the food line. Once I was greeted, things went fast. They took my order on the pizza paper & got a little metal tag with my order number. Red sauce, mozzarella cheese, onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, jalapeños, roasted garlic cloves. I paid and got my salad and drink. They call your name when the pizza is ready. I got a settled at a table, took maybe 3 bites of my Caesar salad, then my name was called. They offer sauces to finish the pizza. I usually do not get those finishing sauces at other quick-fire pizza places so I tried the pesto on one peice. Not bad, but with all of the toppings and flavors, it did not need the pesto. When I put up my tray and trash and got a refill on drink to go, the dude who served me my pizza asked if I liked it. I told him I enjoyed it and will be back! read more

Amazing pizza, very close to NYC Slices and I grew up in Brooklyn in the 80s so I know what good pizza is.

I placed an order online - 11" carnivore. I requested a bbq drizzle and basically my pizza was swimming in bbq sauce as we as the pesto sauce that apparently came on the pizza. We could not eat it, nor had the energy to drive back. very disappointing. read more

Very rude ladies, both working on pizza, my sister asked for half and half on sauce because it's a make your own pizza and the option wasn't listed on the screen to place your order, keep in my mind my sister was instructed by 1/3 of the workers to ask the ladies who were in charge of the pizza making process to ask them to add it on which they gave a cold shoulder to my sister and was very nasty w/ the replies. Following up after this, one of the ladies threw my sister's pizza together very sloppily and threw it in the oven with everything just piled up which lead my sister to ask for a refund, which she shortened the refund. read more

Their food is incredibly yummy, pizza, meatballs, and the pesto cheese bread!! It is my guilty pleasure. I enjoy it often.

Happy Pizza Pi Day. Used the Blaze App to score a coupon to celebrate Pi Day. A 11 inch pizza for $3.14. Nice to be able to use the deal through the end of the month. Chose a pizza from a large menu of options like Pesto Chicken Pizza, Green Stripe, or Barbecue Pizza or Build Your Own. Start with an option of regular, cauliflower or keto crust. Choose a sauce like classic red sauce or dollops, garlic pesto or white cream sauce. Add a meat or spicy vegan chorizo. Sprinkle with fresh cheeses like goat, mozzarella, ricotta or Gorgonzola. Add toppings like artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, bell peppers, spinach, roasted garlic, basil, roasted red peppers, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms. Finish with a drizzle of pesto, olive oil and arugula. Easy to order on the app. Download a reward. Curbside pickup available. Happy Pi Day! Even a few weeks later. read more

I decided to Blaze a trail and post this review. I'm not a fan of Blaze Pizza but this location is fine. I do think that it's a little overrated but we're talking about Houston which does not have very good pizza, so this is pretty much on par with what you expect in this town. read more

Blaze pizza used to be my favorite of the make-your-own pizza chains. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend coming here. I placed an online order for their promo "Pizza Party For One" listed for $8.95. I later realized I was charged a subtotal of $10.45. I asked about this discrepancy when I picked up but no manager was on site. I was only offered a stale dessert for the issue. I was upset that they did not honor the price listed but I understand mistakes happen and the difference wasn't substantial so I just made a complaint through their internal survey. However, the manager called after to tell me I was wrong, that there was no issue on their end, and declined seeing the screenshots I had, so I figure a Yelp review is warranted. read more

I am giving this place a very negative review. I wish I did not have to even give my review a star. Unfortunately, there is nothing positive to say about my pizza. I ordered via Uber Eats and I ordered a pizza with gluten free crust and vegan cheese with various toppings. When I opened the pizza I was greeted with a terrible smell. My first bite was terrible and my second bite was even worse. I ended up throwing the entire pizza in the trash. Talk about a waste of money! I am highly disappointed and will never order from here again. read more

Pi Day in May?! Why Not! Blaze was so gracious to extend their Pi Day offer for redemption through the end of 2020 due to Covid-19. I had been wanting a fresh pizza pie for a minute, but being that their locations are pretty sparse in the Houston area, I waited until I was near the area to redeem. Using the app to order is user friendly and they actually have the rewards program embedded into the app. You'd be surprised how other companies don't do the same and it's an absolute headache, so thanks Blaze for thinking of usability for your customers. As far as the pizza pie, DELICIOUS!!! The order was ready upon arrival and as requested. I decided to build by own and get all of my favorite toppings. Unlike Pizza Hut and Dominoes, you're not limited on the number of toppings you choose. Definetly a plus! I even ordered dessert, which is Blaze's version of a smore. A must try if you haven't had a smore in awhile. Stop by for a Blazin Fast Pizza Pie made to order and as a original as you want it! read more

I ordered the Veg Out: 1/2 pizza and a salad. The pizza was delicious; the Greek salad was more lettuce ribs than lettuce.

Obsessed with this pizza place. They are fast even when there is a line out there door. They don't mind adding extra and I've been several times attended by several people and they always always do everything to accommodate me. Im headed there now for lunch and cannot wait for my pizza! MUST TRY: pesto, mozzarella and goat cheese, chicken, bacon, jalapeño, garlic, onion, basil and arugula at the end. It's fantastic. I literally cannot have pizza anywhere else now because they have topped it off for me. read more

Build my own pizza with unlimited toppings? Don't mind if I do. I will take one of everything (except the olives) please! This is the second Blaze location I have visited and it turns out they all run the same way. You go up to the counter, design your own masterpiece, and then feast! I always choose to build my own pizza with the toppings of my choice. The standard pizza comes with one ladle of sauce which I think is just a tad short of what is needed for the pizza size, so I like to ask for a little bit of extra. They are always great about accomodating that request. The sauce choices are: classic red, spicy red, white (alfredo?), and pesto. I have seen people order their pizzas with red sauce in the middle and some pesto on the edge. I bet that is tasty. Meat toppings that are available: pepperoni, sausage, ham, chicken, meatball, salami, vegan chorizo, and perhaps one or two I am missing. Veggie toppings that are available: jalapenos, spinach, basil, onions, roasted red peppers, green bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, chopped garlic, whole roasted garlic, olives (blech), pineapple, artichoke hearts, and more. It's really hard to go wrong here. The only reason I couldn't give this 5 stars is because the edge of my pizza was a little burnt. read more

I normally don't have too bad of experiences coming here fairly regularly. Yesterday, service was extremely slow. While I was waiting at the front of the line, I noticed this roach crawling around the food prep area. When the worker came to start my order he grabbed a pen and flicked it down further into the cup of pens to conceal it. Made me lose my appetite right away. It looks like a German cockroach which are the ones that infest. I felt that I should have been acknowledged and done something differently instead of looking at me and hiding the fact that there's a roach in the prep area. Won't be eating here again. read more

I'm surprised and delighted to find out that the pizza is nearby and really good and really fast... no compromise especially for the price of a build it yourself $8 pizza. Haven't gone to this location since they opened actually, but decided to come today for their Pi Day deal ($3.14 with the app). Built my own pizza and it was delicious as always. Store was clean and empty at 11am, which was nice since it's still covid. Can't wait to come back! read more

Solid pizza place but not even good or great for me. The crust is nice and crispy and the meatballs are flavorful . However every other component of this dish was mediocre to me. The pepperonis lacked that punch you typically expect from them. Further, the pizza itself lacked in the flavor department. Tbh this place is like a poor man's mod (better crust than mod though). The brownie was fire though (4/5). read more

I really enjoy building my own pizza because the toppings are endless! This new location right by HBU had a grand opening special which gave it's social media followers a free pizza. The staff were extremely nice and made sure everything went smoothly along the assembly line of pizza crafting. Base sauce options are red, spicy red, white, or pesto. Toppings include a good variety of meats and veggies like Italian sausage, ham, bacon, chicken, pineapples, olives, bell peppers, garlic, oregano, spinach, basil leaves, onions, cheeses, zucchini, and a lot more. If you want a salad they've also got it. Desserts are at the end where the cashier is. The parking is shared with other tenants but not an issue at all. The inside is quite spacious and there are just a few tables outside for those who enjoy the patio. My pizza was ready as promised in 180 seconds. Overall a great pizza spot that is affordable and delicious! Get yourself a pie for less than 8 bucks! read more

People working here are untrained, they don't understand the menu nor do they understand English very well. Got a half pepperoni and half bbq chicken. Started making the pizza, no sauce, just threw cheese on it. Really zero traing going on here. PIZZA is very simple. Got down to the sauce and they put bbq on the entire pizza, who takes bbq on pepperoni? They did remake it but shouldn't have to. The manager just staying on his phone the entire time, didn't even say anything to us. The workers are nice, just a management problem. Will not be back to this location. Blaze is better elsewhere. read more

So this is my first time at Blaze and coming from someone who's work at multiple pizza places. This has got to be by far one of the best pizzas I ever had the crust wasn't burnt but was perfectly crispy and the portions of meats where great. Definitely recommend to any one. Giving a 4 star only cuz I love my bacon more crispy but over all it's amazing and clean place the guys were fast efficient and very friendly. We'll come back for sure read more

Every time I order from here I always request extra mushrooms because they hardly put any. You can see in the picture that they even acknowledge it but highlighting the request and yet the whole half pizza and 3 mere mushrooms. That's not even a normal amount of mushrooms, much less extra. On other occasions, they have just completely not put the ingredients I've built my pizza with or included sauces for the pizza/ salads read more

I remember going to an Yelp Elite event when blaze opened like 5 years ago, but hadn't had a chance to go back. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. They give you some options of how you want to make your pizza. I liked the personalized aspect - like subway but with pizza. We shared the bbq chicken which has a great cheese flavor and lots of toppings, not overpowering. We also got the garlic knots which were ok. I did enjoy their sunset Fresca drink - nice flavor but not too sugary and I mixed it with lemonade. Overall, this whole plaza is really expanding with new restaurants. I'm glad I enjoyed the pizza and have a different option close to home. read more

Pros: friendly staff, great food, good lunch option Cons: it took a little long considering no one was inside. But there were several Postmates/to go orders that needed to be filled. I had the lunch special which was a great amount of food for less than 10 bucks. There was a couple inside who was there for the first time and seemed really confused. The staff walked them through each step repeatedly and even offered suggestions. Everyone was very pleasant and the pizza was delicious of course. Hot and bubbly from the oven! read more

I came with my friends at this location today. We ordered and as I was paying the lady cashiering me who was fat short blonde lady yelled out, "mam you cannot have that dog in here! You can go eat outside" I replied, "excuse me see the vest" and she said, "oh I didn't see it". I said, "your approach is unprofessional you should ask is it a service dog before you go yelling at someone" She said, " you should have told me right away when you came in I just saw a dog walk in". I said "mam that's on you to use your eyes and look to verify if it's a service dog before ordering someone out and if your not sure then ask first. Mind you my dog has a very clear marked vest on her. The lady wouldn't look me on the eye at all and had no remorse for disrespect. My fiends husband who was with us asked if I was ok and said that if she was insisting on us being outside he was going to demand our money back.
