The gentleman asked a server, possibly the owner or manager, for a glass of tap water. The response from the server was, "We don't have glasses of water here, but you can buy a bottle and I'll bring your two cups." We found this to be uncourteous and unwelcoming, and we felt a little embarassed for the nice couple. It seems that when a nice couple comes in to patronize your restaurant, and purchase a lunch, a little water would not be an unreasonable request. Any restaurant that treats elderly people this way will not receive my future business.
