The restaurant could not keep up with dining service inspite of our early reservation time.An entree was served 15 minutes after all other entrees were brought out.One of 3 cappuccino's ordered was forgotten and after we had to follow up with the Maitre D and the waiter it finally arrived 20 minutes late. -Our total time eating at the restaurant from start to finish was 2 hours. -We paid our bill which was NOT inexpensive and within 5 minutes of paying the Bus boy / table attendant told us we had to leave as others were waiting for the table. -Myself and all 3 other diners have eaten at much FINER restaurants than this around the world and we have never been told we had to leave when we just finished paying. -We found this to be extremely rude and spoke with Matre D about it who without making eye contact said "you have been at the table for 2 hours it is time for you to leave". We informed him that had we not had to wait 20 minutes for the cappuccino and 15 minutes for the entrees to be served we would have finished sooner and also that 2 hours is not a "long time" to be eating. His reply was "Well this is how I run it". -Upon trying to leave the dining area, the tables and chairs were packed so tight that our friend using the walker could not make it through the dining area. Only the waiter and other patrons helped us navigate through by moving chairs and tables out of the way to make room for him to pass. -I informed the Maitre D that it was unacceptable including their lack of accommodation for those with disabilities. He ignored me did not even make eye contact. -On the way out in the lobby we informed the he host greeting patrons along with the 5 hostess' seating people of what occurred His response was that we should not have been told to leave and he would talk to the maitre d but he did not apologize. -When I asked him why his restaurant was not ADA accessible and why nobody EXCEPT the waiter and other patrons did not help us navigate the crowded dining area, he said " We have a ramp why didn't you use it" I replied "where is the ramp? Nobody Told us there was a ramp to enter and exit the restaurant" He replied "well I am working up here I don't know why you weren't informed". -This is the same person who SEES ALL GUESTS arrive and checks them in for their reservation. This person saw our friend and allowed them to walk past them and up two steps with a walker without informing them of an ADA accessible ramp and they did the same on the way out, they allowed them to walk down the steps in front of them with the walker not informing them of any ramp. -I do not even believe a ramp even exists I just know the rudeness, the lack of consideration and lack of decency shown by the employees at this restaurant towards us was UNACCEPTABLE. -There are too many good restaurants in the NY Metro area that are significantly better than this place that felt like it was being run by punks. I will not return nor recommend. -To anyone who is going to try this restaurant I recommend you go during the week or lunch to at least avoid the fact that they cannot keep up with their kitchen and manage demand. I have no solution for their rudeness. -To the Owners of this restaurant please carefully evaluate how you are being represented and how your restaurant is being run.
