I think both are honestly really good. I liked that they offer combo platters on the menu which is what my boyfriend and I ordered. We chose the boneless chicken option with the signature pelicana sauce on the side. It was sweet and spicy and overall so tasty. Chicken was perfectly crispy! It came with fried onion rings, cheese sticks and fries. The epitome of a fried food platter but it was Friday so I figured it was a good treat myself at the end of the week meal. We also ordered the soy garlic wings and they were delicious! The portions are big and definitely shareable. To complement our meal, we both had beers--mine was Japanese beer, and my boyfriend's was a delicious pear beer. So far, this is one of my top places to get Korean fried chicken in Queens. One of the reasons is because of their white snow cheese flavor. Now it may not be for everyone, but for me, I absolutely love the white cheese flavor; it's honestly the main reason I come back for more! I recommend it on the fries OR chicken wings. Take note that I said OR because I've tried both fries AND chicken wings in 1 order and it was extremely overwhelming. Also do not get it with other sweet sauce flavors because that can become too overwhelming as well (had it with the honey garlic and my taste buds sadly suffered the consequences of double the sweetness flavors). I also recommend getting the sauce on the side because sometimes when the sauce comes on top of the wings, the wings get drenched with the sauce and you will no longer get the crunchy/crispiness of the wings. Atmosphere here is nice and chill with dim lighting and televisions mounted on the walls playing different sports games. Staff members are super friendly and very attentive. In the interest of being fair and writing this review I unfortunately do not have pictures due to the fact that I ordered delivery from this place several weeks ago. It is still fresh in my memory just like the chicken; which was very good quality by the way. The portion size was exquisite, the value was impeccable. I will however say that the signature sauce tasted like sweet and sour chicken sauce and was not to my taste in large bites. I liked Pelicana since the first time I tried it, and I've been to several locations all around the country actually. This one was one of my favourites, because it was the first one I went to, many years ago. However, on my most recent trip, I got here at about 12:45 on a night when they close at 2 a.m. and they said that they were no longer serving and that I couldn't even sit in there. After I was turned away, I noticed a gang of Asians showed up and they were seated and they ordered. I was just sitting in the car outside feeling rejected and discriminated against. I guess I kind of got treated like a homeless person, but I certainly wasn't looking like a homeless person. I'm sure if they knew who I was it would have been different, but I don't like to tell people who I am because then I can see how people really get treated. So in conclusion. Definitely a bad experience and that's why I'm taking a couple of star ratings away from them, and hopefully when I take Barbie back here they will be more friendly. Parking is nonexistent, so you'll probably have to double park, run in, and grab your food. I ordered on UberEats for pick up. As soon as it said it was ready I arrived. Two girls at the counter were not the friendliest. Basically had to yell "EXCUSE ME!" for her to even look up from her phone after already saying hello. No greeting, or anything, just shoved some packets in my bag and handed me my food. They even forgot the fries, which I had to get taken off the check later on. All in all food was good and hot. High turnover of food Friday. Wings were a normal size and not shriveled up. Mozzarella stick were cool too. With all the good reviews, I was expecting our dining experience to be better. The service was good enough. Remember to press the bell attached to the side of the table for service or they'll never come. When we arrived, there were only 2 other tables occupied. For some reason we had to share 1 menu. No big deal but still annoying. The bathroom is in the back so you had to walk past the service counter and kitchen. I guess since it wasn't busy, I heard/seen the cooks horsing around a bit. I guess that's ok since it wasn't busy. We ordered their Bboki, fries, and small order of wings. The waiter asked if we wanted the sauce on the side or drizzled over the chicken. Since we've never been here, we asked for the sauce on the side in case the sauce was too overpowering. And this is where things got annoying. The server said 1 sauce is included with the order and extra sauce would be an additional $2. Our bill came and we were charged the $2. I asked the server about the $2 and then he told me that sauce on the side is $2. The free sauce is only if it's drizzled on the chicken. Of course they conveniently didn't tell us and this did affect their tip. We were craving for Korean style fried chicken and while the chicken was decent, the bboki was good, the taste of the fries got tiring after awhile...the bill just gave us a bitter taste. Yum! Crunchy Fried Chicken! Of the two flavors I tried, soy garlic and original, the former was better. Indicative of Korean fried chicken are the great marrying of Asian flavors with a fantastic crunch. There are times when it doesn't work, the crunch isn't crunchy enough, the sauce is too salty, not enough garlic flavor, etc. This isn't one of those instances. The chicken wing meat was definitely moist, had great flavor and not a minute overdone. The original suffered slightly in comparison to the great flavors in the soy garlic. Don't get me wrong, it was still really good fried chicken, it's just the soy garlic sauce was really great. Parking and waiting for the chicken is a big problem. There were anywhere from 3-4 cars double parked outside waiting for their food and it was pretty annoying having to navigate around them on a really busy evening. Ordering ahead is definitely recommended as it takes about 15-40 mins depending on how large your order is. This isn't KFC or Popeyes for sure where the chicken is ready and just needs to be packed. read more

They have the typical flavors that you'd like from Korean chicken wings with a few other features that other places don't have such as their white snowing cheese. It wasn't the juiciest chicken I've had but I'm sure the quality varies whenever you go. But it gets the job done. Very crispy and the sauces and pickled radish pair perfectly with the chicken.
