Overall, the food was pretty average. There were no veggies included--just a big portion of noodles and some chicken, which was just okay at best. The portioning was really off too--way more noodles than chicken, and barely any protein for what you're paying. The presentation didn't help either; it was basically a lump of noodles and didn't look very appetizing, almost like prison food. Mediocre Asian food tastes better when the other restaurants nearby offer offer very mediocre gringo food. The people working at Pei Wei have been trained to make the handful of dishes on the menu and serve it quickly. Pei Wei corporate could come up with better dishes and better preparation. Bring a sandwich from home and skip the food court at the International terminal at ATL. Or arrive early and get something decent at the domestic terminals and take it with you on the Plane Train. They did take me order quickly and served it very timely. When my order was up they called my number. When I walked up to the counter, the expo just stared at me without saying a word. I thought she was waiting for something for my order until I realize she is just staring at me and I say my order number and she just turns around shaking her head, not saying a word like I should have know she was waiting for me to know that she needed to know my order.... Paid for it, waited a few minutes. My buzzer went off, traded it for my food and back to the gate i go. Oh i smashed the heck out of that lettuce wrap. It was so good, i didnt even have to put the sauce on it. I'd definitely hit that again if given the chance. My food came in a timely fashion. It was rather fresh and warm in my mouth. As I approached I even saw smiles!! I was immediately asked what I wanted to order, the wonton soup looked really good on the picture menu so I asked about it. An assistant named Via responded that it was very good so I ordered a bowl of their wonton soup. Within a couple of minutes my ticket number was being called. At my table I was pleasantly surprised to discover an appetizing bowl of soup with scallions and baby spinach floating atop at least 8 to 10 large tasty meat-filled wontons. The broth was very tasty, not too salty nor too bland. The scallions and baby spinach were just right, with the scallions still retaining a bit of crispness. The wontons were large and very flavorful. There were enough of them to satisfy my hunger. If you have time to make the journey to F concourse, do yourself a favor and stop by Pei Wei for great food, great service, and a nice friendly smile from Via!! read more

Found myself stopping for a bite while I waited out my three hour pre-flight time limit to get in the Club @ ATL. This location is in the atrium upstairs at the F concourse (international and Delta). Honestly the area up here is worth coming to chill in if you have a longish layover or wait at ATL and don't want to get stuck in the rush by your gates with the droves of people who lose IQ points when they travel. It's fairly quiet and calm compared to a normal concourse. Anyway the ladies at the register and service area were very pleasant and quick. No upsell. My meal was hot. The Pei Wei at the Atlanta international airport, terminal F, is highly efficient fast food chain and of quality so if you are in hurry, this is a nice option to ensure a happy traveling. The starter, Thai soup with dumplings was light, and all in balance. The Kung Pao chicken, with carrots and edamami, was also enjoyable; not too spicy, yet with nice flavors. With brown rice, it was plenty of eats. Nothing complicated, and no need to worry about waiters to bring late the bill as you pay and eat at the common dining space, I am happy to come back to this place. read more
