I think I came here with too many expectations because it fell really short of how hyped it was for me. The few things I liked was that the chicken was crispy but juicy on the inside. I was really impressed with how well cooked the chicken was since it's easy to overcook a chicken this big. It also came out fairly quickly too. Now for the things I wish could be improved: The chicken was not cured, so there is essentially no flavor inside the chicken and the only flavor is coming from the sauce. However, there was barely any sauce on the chicken too so I had no flavor anywhere. They also charge for sides like coleslaw and pickled radish which are complimentary at any other Korean chicken place. Service could be worked on as well. It seems like they are trying to substitute real service with the robot server. Overall, I personally wouldn't drive so far out to try here again with so many other options closer. read more

Visited this location for the second time, and I'm really glad I did because my first visit wasn't so great. However, todays visit was the complete opposite! The lady at the register was quite delightful and very friendly. My food was extremely fresh and OMGGGGG, so delicious! But bonchon does not come to play with their spice. The chicken was so tender and juicy and flavorful! We also got the dumplings and they were deep fried and really good. Bonchon is delicious. This is the closest one to Me, so it's a good 5 hour drive, so we try to go anytime we are in or around Atlanta. Their wings are one of a kind, their spicy sauce is to die for. This restaurants decor is nothing fancy, you have tables and booths. There is waiter service and our waiter was extremely patient with us and helpful. Anytime you go to Bonchon you have to try the wings. The spicy is SO good and so spicy. I normally do half spicy and half soy garlic so I can cook down in between the spicy wings. The taste and flavor of the sauces are SO good. It comes with pickled radish which is a great palate cleanser. I got the fried Rice with bulgolgi and then asked for the spicy sauce to be drizzled on top, that is the best suggestion and idea I have ever heard of and it was SO dang good. The spicy sauce on the fried rice with the bulgolgi. YUM! I ended up getting chicken wings and tenders to go, the wings were wonderful, reheat on a rack pan in the oven on 250 until heated through and you get the same crunch at the restaurant not soggy and not overcooked. My family stopped by to place a take out order after several hours at the fun park around the corner. I'm not sure what time they stop taking online orders but it was around 7:30 and we couldn't place an online order. My hubs went in to place our order of the family meal. He waited for about 20 minutes. The family meal comes with 12 wings (boneless or bone-in) and 6 drumsticks, white or fried rice, and a choice of 2 from pickled radish, fries, or coleslaw. We did the radish and fries. We had half our chicken plain and the other half with the soy garlic sauce. The soy garlic chicken was so good, my oldest would've eaten all of it if we let him. The plain had no seasoning, I mean zero, in its breading. We brought our chicken home to eat, so I added some chili garlic sauce to the plain and my hubs added some Japanese banchan sauce. I'd def never get the plain again and if we weren't ordering for our kids too, I would get the spicy sauce. The fries and radish were good, no complaints there. The white rice was kind of dry. My hubs said the staff (maybe the franchise owners) were friendly and it seemed like a family affair because their children worked the registers. The pickled radish is usually quite good but was so watered down with barely any taste this last time we ordered.
