    Pho (small) with meatballs.

I came to Pho Dai Loi because the place I wanted to try - Kawa 18 - was closed. Walking to Pho Dai Loi took 3 minutes. Even though it was lunch hour when I was there, Pho Dai Loi a little over half full. I was there by myself, and a staff member directed me to a table by the window. A glass of water was served before I sat down. The noise level was low enough for me to hear and be heard when I placed an order. Outside, there were sufficient parking spots available. It had a been long time - too many years - since I had pho. Didn't care for the lack of flavor. Their broth pales in comparison to the rich ramen broth. But Pho is easy to prepare. I ordered a small bowl of pho with meatballs and requested no cilantro. It was served 5 minutes later with a side dish of cilantro, bean sprouts and slices of green chilli. I put most of the bean sprouts in the pho and let them simmer for several minutes before eating. The pho was everything I expected: bland taste but sufficiently filling for a light lunch. I drank up half the broth and that was enough. (If this was a ramen broth, I'd have drunk up the entire bowl.) When I went up to pay for my order, the lady behind the cashier warbled at me. I didn't respond. She warbled again. I didn't respond. Didn't know what she was talking about. She kept making the same warble until I gave her an exasperated look. Finally, she asked, "Are ou Vietnamese?" I said "No" with a disapproving tone. She then asked, "Add tipsto payment or leave tips at table?" I opted for leaving tips at the table. Why didn't she ask first if I was Vietnamese? Why do these people like to assume that all East Asians (Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, etc.) look like them?? The lady that took my order spoke to me in English. For this slight, this establishment gets no more than 3/5 for service. As for the tip, I did not leave any. This place does not deserve it. If you ever come here to dine in, expect the Vietnamese staff to assume you're one of them and speak to you in their warble language.

Today, I wanted something light and reasonable priced for lunch. Found Pho Dai Loi close by the job and decided to check them out. They have good reviews and walking in I can see that they are very popular. They was pretty crowded with more customers coming in as I was waiting. The staff was very hospitable. The restaurant is very family oriented. I ordered 2 orders of shrimp spring roll. Spring rolls are pretty simple. These was decent I've have had better. The shrimps was small and 2 of my rolls only had 2 shrimps. But overall they was just ok. Their peanut sauce is another story. I didn't particularly like their peanut sauce. It had a grimy taste to it. Not crunchy from the peanuts. I can't explain it. However, this will not deter from going back again. I really want to try a bowl of Pho.

The service was very fast when we sat down to eat, and we got our food in less than 10 minutes. This was one of the best of vermicelli bowls that I've had. The pork and shrimp was very flavorful, and the pickled vegetables had the perfect crunch to them. As I sat inside for an early dinner, it was nice to see that a lot of people came in as well so this place must be popular for their great food and service.

The key to excellent Pho is in the broth, and the broth at Pho Dai Loi was amazing!! Service was great!! Meat and noodles portions are rather small but other than that, I'd highly recommend them! P.S. You will definitely need extra noodles and meat!

First time here, 4.5 overall! The inside is neat and organized, nothing fancy but great to grab a quick bite. We both ordered the large pho, and it came out within 2 minutes of ordering super hot and fresh! The large bowl is massive, and for only $16. The broth itself was quite flavorful, not too rich, and there was a ton of meat. For $16 I would say this is worth it and pretty good too! Noodles were nice and chewy. We also got the durian smoothie and this was really good! It had a mellow yet prevalent durian flavor, and tasted like they blended some durian together without any kind of watering down. Really good!! Definitely would come back for some hearty pho!!

Best pho in Atlanta and not too far from Atlanta zoo. The one take our order is beautiful lady and very nice . We try their pho combo, bun Bo hue , jackfruit smoothie and lemon soda. Food and drinks taste delicious.

Pho Dai Lai has been on my radar for about 6 months. I decided to drop in this evening because of the traffic it takes to get to Mableton GA- so I dined. With my intense palate and need for distinctive flavor, Pho Dai Lai was a solid 3 stars. While the ambiance is simple and the regulars keep pouring in by the couples the Pho was a basic recipe with a very bland aftertaste. It was perfect for the 38 degree weather that I will be facing in a few moments but compared to my other reviews in other densely populated areas where Pho is King- this restaurant barley made the 3 star mark for me and my tastebuds. Noodles were consistent with the angel hair feel and the broth was lightly seasoned with fresh veggies and other green leafy options. However, that was where the ecstasy softened and I found myself with a 1/3 bowl of broth that I left behind. Don't believe I will be back for the Pho, I may come back from some other highly rated dishes recommended by fellow Yelpers. Until then, cheers!

It was a cold night and perfect weather for pho. As we expected, the restaurant was packed even though we got there at 6 pm. I love restaurants like this because you get your food quick. My husband and I shared the fried spring rolls, I got pho Bo khi and for him, pho with meatballs. We both got medium sized bowls for $15. We also shared hot jasmine tea. Overall, the broth was flavorful. The sliced beef was fork tender with a heaping amount of noodles. Our whole meal was around $40. This has definitely been our go to if we don't want to drive to Buford Hwy.

Last-minute dinner stop after dropping off a friend at the nearby Atlanta airport. It is an authentic Vietnamese establishment with everything you would expect on the menu. Service was fast, and I liked how they had three different size options for the pho. I ordered the pho with brisket and rare steak, and it hit the spot.

There was no good Vietnamese mayo, no pate...the veggies were ok and the bread wasn't bad. I've definitely had some bread with the lightness and crispy outside, soft fluffy inside with the perfect chew....This was not it. The pork was charred a bit with good flavor but this was the only thing that was good in the meal. We ordered the pork egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls and were served egg rolls that could have possibly came from the freezer of hmart and spring rolls that literally had lettuce and halved sliced shrimp in rice paper. No herbs, no tasty dipping sauce....ugh, it was just a very disappointing meal. With no real attempt to produce authentic appetizers, sauces and Bahn mi accompaniments, I would have to say, this was a disappointing meal I could have skipped.
