Okay listen.. the chicken spring rolls in the rice paper.. two of them for $10. They're quite large, flavorful, and healthy high protein lunch. Don't sleep on this. We also had the crab Rangoon which were good and the beef pan fried noodles. The noodles were not exactly what I was expecting maybe more like deep fried noodles which would be good on say.. a salad. But not as a base. Flavor otherwise was good. A go too lunch spot esp to go with this spring rolls I mean come on.
This would be 4 stars if it weren't for the shrimp in my lemongrass tofu (I've been vegan for 10+ years). I know mistakes happen. I've worked in kitchens, but it was jarring to stab my fork into a shrimp mid meal. That aside, the dish was well seasoned and paired rly nicely with simple, white rice. There were some shredded fresh veggies like lettuce and carrot and then sautéed peppers and onions. You taste a little bit of spice or a peppery quality along with the aromatic lemongrass.
Let's get into it! Ordering "to go" secrets have just been revealed! When you purchase Pho to go from restaurants you pay the same price for less. How do they get away with this? Whenever I have visited Pho restaurants in the Atlanta area I have experienced less broth on the to go orders. Ahn's kitchen front end staff confirmed that the kitchen charges the same price but serves you less broth on to go orders. The question that has not been answered is why? Who makes those types of decisions ? How did they become approved and why does this stay under the radar? ? This doesn't set right with me. While I have been dining at this location for a few years now, I was surprised that what they confirmed was based on my suspicion. It doesn't matter if they want to do this but should t they tell you upfront right? Rather than, I have learned when. I get home the portion has been slighted. Im Not sure how I feel about this. One thing is for certain it does not feel fair. I rather enjoy the art if dining out but in times when people are under the weather we have to get orders to go. I would like to investigate this further at some point. This restaurant was my go to for a while and since I have returned after being gone things have changed like the weather. Also when I arrived it was two people in the restaurant took them over 35 minutes to make an order of Pho and two quick appetizers- While others who walked and sat, were served immediately- More uncertainty on the panel that manages this space. Once I arrived home maneuvering through downtown ATL traffic on 10th and Peachtree I set up a serving station. Opened up the Pho bowl with the noodles, and been sprouts shoved in a plastic bag with packaged hoisin sauce. - so they are putting food in with foreign plastics... presentation goes a long way chefs, where is the etiquette? The portion of chicken was bare minimum. I can bet that prison food gets more portions than they serve fora $25.00 bowl of Pho! Bean sprouts were severely wilted and browning. The complimentary parking charges me 8.00 to exit. The list goes on and on- maybe this review will inspire change. Flavor- Pho King basic- nothing like it was from my previous 15 check ins- The Verdict - guilty as charged. Letter grade earned: D+
We were greeted as soon as we entered and someone immediately came over with waters. The menu has a nice selection and there are many vegetarian options. The atmosphere is very casual. My friend ordered the chicken fried rice and I ordered the tofu egg rolls and garlic butter noodles with tofu. The food was pretty good if a bit bland. And even though they weren't busy we had to get them in order to get boxes and pay and they were a bit slow in refilling the water but they were very friendly. It was not spectacular but an ok dinner.
I enjoyed my date night at Anh's Kitchen! Me and my boyfriend loved our food. Food Items : Veggie Eggrolls Bf - Spicy Beef Noodles Me - Combo Pho (Beef, Metballs, Brisket) Rating: 9.5/10 I would highly reccomend this spot, I was very satisfied with mt visit. My food was delicious, the portion size is huge & the customer service is great! Cant wait to go back Open til 2 AM!!!
Got there at 11:30pm on a Thursday night and it was packed! Not sure if they take reservations but, there's high seats near the entrance to sit or wait. I ordered a house made passionfruit lemonade, it was lukewarm with no ice. Had the pork & shrim vermicelli, it was good. The chilli oil didn't look or taste like any I've had. The oil seemed burnt. It can get loud with customers enjoying the food and the music. The location is perfect for people who love it work in the area because of the very limited street parking. There are garages.
It was a very cold night and was craving something warm and comforting. We frequented this place when we lived in Midtown. There are other Vietnamese restaurants in the city but we liked this one. With that said, you do pay for city prices when dining here. Looks can be deceiving but there are more tables in the back past the kitchen/counter area. We opted to sit by the door since some tables had a reserved sign and some tables were left dirty and not bussed. We came during busy hour as they had tons of people coming in and out for their online pick up orders. It didn't take very long until we were greeted by the server to give us our water. He came back 5 mins after and placed our order of butter stone eggplant, grilled pork vermicelli bowl and combo pho. We waited maybe 20 mins after getting our eggplant appetizer. It was crispy with a sweet sauce - think Mongolian beef without the rice crispies and made with eggplant. We waited for 20 mins after that and our meals arrived. The kitchen must have been chaotic since people who ordered after us got their meals before we did. Thank goodness we ordered an appetizer though. My grilled pork bowl came with tons of rice noodles and shredded lettuce and carrots with a good amount of grilled pork and egg roll. I asked for extra nuoc mam and the server came back a few minutes after with that. My husband ordered a combo pho but he never got the sauces or side of veggies that pho is typically served with. Customer service that night was definitely lacking since they were very busy. We had to track down our server so we could pay. Our total bill for the night was around $40. Parking: park at the Viewpoint deck to get validated parking. We didn't realize where this was until leaving the deck since we would walk here before
First, the positives...service. Service was prompt and friendly; hence, the three stars. The Thai Tea was also good. The cons...the food i ordered. I ordered the sautéed lemongrass chicken. The rice portion was nice and big (did not finish it). The main entree, not so much. The portion of the chicken was minimal and overwhelmed by all the onions (fillers). The chicken had the texture and taste of canned chicken. And finally, the overall dish was way too sweet. Onions get sweet when cooked and what I was presented was a "too sweet" dish with minimal canned chicken drowning in onions. Couple that with Thai Tea (which is also sweet in itself) and I needed a lot of water to dilute all the sweetness I was consuming. I love Thai Tea and I love lemongrass but that dish needs vast improvement. It's not often that I leave so much leftovers behind, but yeah, I did here. Maybe their other dishes are better but for anyone reading this, stay away from the sautéed lemongrass (unless they improve their recipe)!
After attending a concert, I wanted something more satisfying than fast food, so I decided to try Anh's Kitchen. I ordered the clay pot chicken, which came in a savory, slightly sweet sauce with steamed rice. The dish was very tasty, and I enjoyed it so much that I would definitely order it again. I opted for water, while my friend tried the Chicken pho, which was just okay--not the best I've had. When we first walked into the restaurant, there were several tables that hadn't been cleaned yet, but an employee quickly took care of it. Overall, while it may not be a place I would rush back to, it was a decent meal that met the needs of the moment.
Pretty tasty Vietnamese place in Midtown. We had the Pho Combo and Grilled Pork Vermicelli Noodles. The Pho Combo came with rare beef, brisket, and meatballs, and was a nice comforting bowl of pho with plenty of different textures from the meats. The Grilled Pork Vermicelli Noodles was good too, which came with lettuce, cucumber, carrots, peanuts, fried shallots, an egg roll, and fish sauce on the side. However, I thought it was going to be a big grilled pork but it's like sliced - still delicious tho. I really liked how many different textures were going on in this dish, especially with the grilled pork, crunchy toppings, fresh veggies, and crispy egg roll. Service was friendly, and the restaurant isn't huge but cozy atmosphere. Being right in Midtown, it's also a convenient spot if you're already in the area. read more

3.5 stars for me. I placed an order on DoorDash and I'm assuming this place is really popular because it took over an hour to arrive. When it did arrive my food was still hot and my lemonade was not watered down. The star of the show was the mango passion fruit lemonade! That was delicious and I would go back for that alone. Loved it and I'm usually not one to order a drink on DoorDash but it came perfectly. Order a drink!! The pho was good but nothing special. I really enjoyed how many veggies were in it and the broth was just okay to me. The hoisin and sriracha helped a lot. The reason I didn't give four stars is because the noodles were a weird texture to me. I'm not sure why but they tasted a bit grainy. I went to Anh's Kitchen for a weeknight dinner with a friend. I walked over, but I believe that there is parking nearby. Inside, there's a decent amount of space but it also seemed like a lot of people were picking up food. We started out with Thai teas (delicious and not too sweet!) as well as some basil rolls (so fresh and we loved the peanut sauce it came with). For dinner, we split a chicken banh mi and the Pho Tai (beef). The banh mi was so tasty, the bread was crunchy and the meat was so flavorful. On the other hand, the pho was ok. It hit the spot for Vietnamese food cravings, but have definitely had better pho in Atlanta. Overall, you can't beat the convenience of Anh's in Midtown and the food was a solid choice! read more

Called and asked them when the kitchen closes. Showed up before the kitchen closed and he said we are only doing to go. We drove 30 minutes to get here. Beware they work based off their own rules. Wouldn't waste my time coming here just order to go I guess.... read more

I came here along with my family and we had great time. We had great service, good food and overall great experience. We ordered drunken noodles with chicken, a veggie fried rice, an egg fried rice and an eggplant stir fry dish. The sauces on the side had a lot of salt in them and the drunken noodles were too heavy on the sauce so thats why I gave a 4 out of 5 but other than that everything else was great. The eggplant stir fry was the best we have ever had and the iced Vietnamese coffees were great as well. We had 3 vegetarians in our party and when we looked at the menu, almost every dish had a vegetarian and vegan option. Our server, Chloe, was very sweet and explained everything to us with a smile and everything. The service was fast too. So if you are looking for a great Vietnamese restaurant I recommend this place. read more

I did a pick up order, the restaurant quickly made my food and the staff were friendly and helpful to accommodate to my dietary needs. This is a great spot to get cozy food after a long work day! The vegetarian pho was well packed with vegetables and toppings and I liked the hot sauce. The spring rolls come in a pair of 2, or was nice, but the crispy tofu was a bit hard and took away from the taste of a delicious veggies spring roll. read more

A nice meal. Usually do pick up, but first time dining in. Most of the time I get Saigon noodles, but ordered stir fry egg noodles... was a little too sweet... Tofu banh mi had a nice little kick. Shrimp egg rolls were nice and crispy. Wife's Saigon noodles were good, but only had one shrimp. Staff were wearing mask and gloves. Bottle of hand sanitizer at the counter. read more

Dined at Anh's Kitchen after the good smells and reasonable prices drew me and another into the restaurant. Ordered the shrimp curry and the lemongrass beef. Most entrees that should come with rice do come with rice. Unfortunately, this is a place that loves to nickel and dime. Additional rice costs $2 per side. $2 for a cup of regular rice. Should be at most $1 since we aren't in NY or LA. Service wasn't great, and a lot of that had to do with the restaurant being short staffed. Even then, there are some things you just... don't do. The shrimp curry got served roughly 10 minutes before the other plate got served. This is a big no. You should only serve a table incomplete if the other dish needs a few more minutes. There's a microwave in the back that you can clearly see the cook use. If one dish gets done significantly before the other, just pop the early one into the microwave. Don't serve it that early! We informed the server we were dining family style, and she just shrugged. She didn't bring us more plates so we could at least start eating the shrimp curry. This server gave another table a long hecking history of Vietnamese cuisine lecture [at the expense of service to other tables]. She sure as heck should understand the idea of family style. The food had pretty small portions, yet it ultimately was enough to satisfy. The flavors were downright amazing. It's good enough food to elevate an otherwise fairly poor experience to a 4, but not quite to a 5. Anh's Kitchen serves great food. It is worth a revisit for me. read more

I think the food is good! I've seen not so good reviews, but I think it's decent. I've been to some bad Vietnamese restaurants, and I don't think this qualifies. We ordered on Uber eats and the food was still tasty and hot. I wasn't a fan of the mango sticky rice but I wanna say it's because it had to travel. I feel it's once of those dishes they bring out and you start eating right away. The mango was good and ripe though. Would definitely order again. The pho was nicely done! read more

We came here after a concert because it was one of the few places in the area that stays open late. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. There was only one person working the entire restaurant, and despite his best efforts, we often had to go to the counter to request things. My friend and I both ordered the pho combo. It was odd that the vegetables, which are supposed to come with pho, were served in a little plastic bag, and they were not fresh. The food was just okay. This place might be decent visit if they're not busy or understaffed at night. read more

This is the awning for Ahn's. It routinely has grease dripping in front of the building. It is disgusting. Be careful walking in. Bad review due to having to dodge grease walking in or on the sidewalk. read more

What is parking situation?
The restaurant is in the midst of the city so street parking (metered, so bring lots of coins or sign up for the relevant parking app!) will be your primary option. There is free parking at 892 Juniper, just a 3 min walk away.
