I came here for lunch with a craving for pho. I wound up getting a large combo pho hoping to take the leftover soup or noodles home. For an extra $2, it came with all the meat, even halved meat balls, tendon, and tripe. I've never seen a stone bowl pho before, very cool presentation. It came with the thinly sliced raw meat separately so you can add it yourself. The soup was good though, somewhat flavorful. The shrimp spring rolls were ~$6 so on the pricer side. It comes with two thin rolls but wasn't stuffed loosely. They also cut it in half but overall they were kinda small. Parking is free in the Chastain Square with plenty of parking. There's also ample seating inside with booths and tables. It was fairly empty at like 1:30pm. Menu had a few good options under each category like pho, banh mi, vermicelli, rice, and drinks. Our server refilled water several times and was quite attentive. On my pho tier list, Phi Dai Viet is a solid B. I'd give my pho experience a 3.8/5

I was having a rough day and craved the comfort of a big bowl of noodle soup. After a short workout, I looked up places with pho nearby. Enter: Pho Dai Viet My fiancé and I parked and headed inside, greeted by a statue of a huge bowl of pho and several Maneki-neko waving cats. The ambiance is casual and fun. Immediately, we were seated in a booth by the window and given menus. The menus are visually pleasing with big photos of most of the items. To start, we shared a an appetizer of fresh spring rolls with our choice of shrimp. They were very refreshing and delicious. Along with the peanut sauce, I mixed in a little hoisin and sriracha that were on the table and created a very yummy customizable sauce. For our entrées, we each did a Build Your Own Pho. I chose a small bowl (which was the perfect size for me), with spicy beef broth, tofu, carrots, and mushrooms. Of course I added some of the accoutrements we were given: juice from the lemons, Thai basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeños. My pho was the perfect spice level and was absolutely delicious. My fiancé got a medium bowl with vegan/vegetarian broth, shrimp, carrots, and broccoli. He enjoyed his as well and added toppings to his liking. We agreed this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants we've been to--and we've been to a lot. We even took some pho to go for my fiancés mom. Thank you to the kind and welcoming staff for serving us. We look forward to coming back for more!

My friend and I came right before closing and the staff was very nice. The food came fast too. I got a medium sized pho with 3 different kinds of meat. My friend got grilled pork bahn mi with small pho. It was good but not great. I've had better pho on Buford Highway. Good service.

Pho Dai Viet is an absolute gem! The ambiance is peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The service was patient and kind, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The food was Incredible. This was a delicious vegan pho so flavorful and rich, with a depth that's hard to find. I also tried the tofu banh mi, crispy bread, well-seasoned tofu, and the perfect balance of textures and flavors. I've officially found my new go-to pho spot. Highly recommend!

Amazing! My wife and I came here to eat and we're impressed. Great presentation, service, music and the food was delicious! My Pho came boiling and stayed HOT the entire time. Highly recommend. Thank you!

A solid option for Vietnamese food with a Vegan pho! Lots of places will have vegetarian pho but it is not necessarily vegan. This place was a perfect place to get vegan pho that was nice for our throats when feeling just a tad sick!

I was craving the freshness of Vietnamese food and this hit the spot. Thank you for clearly marking vegan options on the menu, it's much appreciated. My friend and I split the tofu veggie rolls. These are the fresh kind wrapped in stretchy rice paper and served with a thick, peanuty sauce. My complaint is that the rolls literally had tofu, lettuce and rice noodles. I often appreciate simplicity, but would've enjoyed them having another element. Cabbage, carrots or herbs would've made these even better. The sauce served alongside could also use more saltiness or umami (IMO). We both had the tofu vermicelli bowl as our main and it was very satisfying. I loved the mix of sautéed and fresh veggies. The tofu was well cooked and the portion size for this dish is considerable. Neither of us finished the bowl with the amount of noodles and the generous toppings. There's a good bit flavor from the sautéed veggies and tofu but they also serve a side of soy sauce. The crushed peanuts and fried shallots add a lovely crunch to finish things off.

The food was amazing!!! The service was a little slow due to short staffing but the service didn't take a hit at all. The ambiance was great as well. Good food, good atmosphere and great service. Definitely would recommend and visit again.

So far I have had the pho twice, the rice cubes, and the shaking beef. Everything tasted great. Big parking lot for free parking. It is amazing how similar my visits have been. Staff was not as attentive as I would have like. My table had everything I needed so my meal was not interrupted. Getting my bill took longer than expected. I think the servers do not want to interrupt your meal but I wish they would come by more often. This place looks a little rough on the outside but it is extremely clean and some what fancy on the inside. The combination Pho has all the different types of meat. I remember the meatballs, flank steak, and tripe. Next time I will get something simpler.

I think their dishes although prepared authentically are underwhelming in terms of the depths in flavor and really the soul of Vietnamese food. I'm not an expert but I've eaten my fair share of Vietnamese food for a standard issue white girl. The pork patty was dry and likely made at the beginning of the week and just reheated as the week went on. It was pretty bland and had this rubbery overly bouncy consistency and literally snapped when I bit into it. It basically got lost amongst all the fresh herbs too. As you can tell from the photo the Bánh bột chiên was burnt and it ended up being burnt on both sides. The squares were cut too thick...and because they were cut too thick they were on the mushy side even after being overly pan fried. All of the veg was fresh and well cleaned, the rice noodles were not overly sticky and clumped together. The pickled carrot/daikon were tasty. The server I had was attentive and polite. The interior was as to be expected and I couldn't care less that it's a little rough around the edges. If the tile isn't cracked, if the booth's vinyl isn't taped up, the utensils aren't mismatched and the tables aren't wobbly then I don't trust the place!! Like I said-I don't dislike it here. I just don't see the hype. Then again I feel like I have to piece together my favorite dishes from several spots between Doraville/Chamblee and Duluth, so maybe it's because I haven't found one place that checks all the boxes and I can get all my favs from one place. I will come again...because I love Bánh hỏi.

I ordered the Pho Dae Biet #5, which comes with eye round steak, well-done flank, marble brisket, soft tendon, and tripe. We got the large bowl, and it was very filling, so much so that we couldn't finish it and had to take the rest to go. The broth was comforting and flavorful, and all the meats were cooked well. They also served hot tea, which was perfect to sip on while we waited for our food. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the service was smooth. There's no real ambiance to speak of--but when the food is this good, it truly doesn't matter. The value here is incredible. The portions are generous, the quality is consistently excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the pho is as authentic as I've had anywhere. The depth of flavor in the broth, the freshness of the ingredients, and the balance of aromatics all hit exactly the right notes. My Vietnamese friends who eat here regularly have confirmed the same: this is the real deal. If you're looking for a place where the food speaks for itself--and speaks loudly--Pho Dai Loi 2 is it. The soup was rich with meat, and while I'd have enjoyed a bit more noodles, that's just how I like it. I normally don't finish the broth but I did here. Good food reminds me that God is real because WHEW I felt blessed eating here LOL. The best in price, the best in quality, and the best in quantity... there are 10s across the board. It was a little cramped in the dining area around 4PM on a Saturday, so I got some sandwiches to go. I'd say there are about 15 tables (4-seats) max in this space, so it can fill up fast. They do have a few chairs to sit near the front door while waiting for your to-go order. The service was really great, and the women working the floor were all smiles. It took around 10 minutes from ordering to get our goods. Now to the food. Words cannot express the bliss I experienced biting into these sandwiches. We did the buy 5 get 1 free deal, which is a certified steal given the quality of the food. It came out to 25.75 after taxes and card fee -- C'MON NOW! The Capricorn in me loves a good deal. Half were the #6, the other three were the #7. The bread banged, the meats' quality and quantity were absolutely outstanding, and it was stuffed full of all the amazing veggie fixings and condiments. The seasonings are YUM with a nice hint of spice to round out the flavor. The sandwich literally had the perfect ratio of everything. And no re-heating necessary! These sandwiches were eaten over the course of two days and they didn't become hard or soggy, a testament to the quality. I have nothing else to say and I promise you the banh mi speaks for itself. I didn't try the pho this time but I'm adding it to my list!
