Hi tieu my tho dac biet - with both egg and rice noodles
Huie N.

Best hu tieu I've had in GA. Authentic tasting, very delicious. I'll be returning to try some of the other menu items

Instead of pho, you can come here and try a different type of noodle dish. THere are ones with broth, there are others without. The dish that I got was on the sweeter side, but I thought it was nice. I got the combination: Hu Tieu My Tho Dac Biet. If there is a combination option, that's what I always go for just because it's just a mix of everything. And I can never say no to a kitchen medley of flavors and ingredients. There's plenty of parking and also plenty of seating. If you don't know what type of Hu Tieu you would like to try, I always recommend to just try the combination and then you can figure out if you like it or not. For me, I can see myself coming back here and getting a dry version without broth.

We were in the area and saw this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. I went and tried it on a super hot day so it was kind of hot up in there. I still tried their pho, though. We got in about lunch time, and were seated right away. I felt the service was pretty quick. From the time we ordered our food, it didn't take long at all to get our food. I tried the pho dac biet and I liked the broth. I liked that the broth wasn't too sweet. It was just perfect for me. It also came out with a lot of garnishments so I liked that a lot. They also had a lot of condiments for you know the table, as well. I also tried their ice coffee and I loved it. In all, I didn't have a bad experience and will probably be back.

The food and the service were great, but my lips felt weird (like tingling) afterwards. Might be to much MSG

I am from oc California. I've tried many hủ tiếu places in different Vietnamese area at different states. This is my first time tried here. It is phenomenal. Services excellent! Food nothing to complain. From my point of view, it's way better than other places. If you're craving for soup with egg noodles or rice noodle, you must try this place. Last but not least, their prices are lower than other places. Highly recommend!!!!

As the name indicates, this place is famous for Hu Tieu My Tho, the noodle soup from My Tho city of the South of Vietnam. You have 2 choices: regular meaning with the broth, like phở, or "dried" with the broth and pirky bones on the side. I went with the dried one, and loved it. My guess had Hu Tiu Nam Vang, and she enjoyed hers, too. The drinks came late, but they were so busy. That was fine.

Very authentic Hu tieu place and definitely worth it. It's very clean and good seating. Service and food is worth it and honestly their food is just a very healing experience. Definitely would come again for an authentic Vietnamese experience.

Flavorful soup, big portion, fresh veggies, delicious noodles. Very nice painted art on the wall. Gives you Vietnam scenes. We ordered the house special noodles, seafood noodles, and banh mi chao (special platter with french baguette bread). All delicious. First time dining in. Although we have ordered take out plenty of times in the past.

Found a big cockroach crawling on the table while eating here and still had to pay full price for that disgusting meal even after showing the staff. Definitely won't come back.

I will say, whenever I'm rating a place on yelp, it's rarely for service, but I cannot help mention every time I come here, I am served by the same waiter who tends to neglect my table to the point where I have to get up and ask for my food I've ordered. That being said, the food here is consistently the same; my favorite order is the Bo ne, a savory beef skillet served with other delicious components (pate, cheese, Chinese sausage, etc.) and bread on the side. They did downsize on their bread, though, from when it first opened, so they only give you one loaf opposed to two. Their smoothies are good (whenever I actually get them) and same with their desserts. Their shrimp dishes I do not mess with because they did smell a bit fishy. It's a nice place to take friends and sit down; it's casual but serves other unique Vietnamese foods besides pho and broken rice.

I was craving soup, something hot and comforting on this raining, Winter afternoon. I thought I'd go for ramen, udon, or pho--my go-to choices--but I happened to come by this restaurant. What to order at a hu tieu restaurant? The hu tieu, of course! The service was quick and my order came within minutes. I had a side plate of bean sprouts, pickled jalapeños and garlic, and lemon wedges to add to my bowl, a good amount, too. There was even a tiny container of pepper flakes! As for the essential condiments, they were available at the table: fish sauce, hoisin, sriracha, etc. I ordered mine with broth (it can be served on the side) and I'm so glad I did. While I would have loved my bowl to be served hotter, it was still fulfilling. There was plenty of pork slices and decent size shrimp. The broth wasn't too bland or too salty. Always, always sip the broth first. The overall vibe couldn't be anymore Vietnamese. Viet music banging on the speaker, locals chatting away, families gathered together on multiple tables. If you're in the mood for something like this, consider Hu Tieu My Tho.

Hu Tieu My Tho - VN Noodle restaurant. I'd literally slap my momma for this soup broth. And not just any slap. I'd rub my hands with baby oil to make sure that hand print stays greasy. Maybe even shake some glitter sparkles too. What can I say about this place other than hurry! Go try them now! Their broth is so flavorful it had me picking up the bowl and drinking every last drop as if I were in a food eating competition. I had the Hu Tieu Tho Dac Biet, which has glass noodles (I think I might try it with egg noodles next time), quail eggs, varieties of cut pork, shrimp, liver, herbs and vegetables. Then to accompany the dish was a side dish of fresh bean sprouts, lime, chives, and cilantro. Service was on point with friendly staff and the drinks were phenomenal! Definitely try it if you in the area!

Been to the other location many times, first time for this location today. The restaurant is in a very cool asian mall that has just about anything you could want. Plenty of easy parking is always bonus. I ordered fried spring rolls and a crepe. Our waitress came back and tole me they had no fried spring rolls would I like something else? I said ok, I will have the fresh shrimp roll and a fresh pork roll. The shrimp roll was what you usually get and it was good. The pork roll I have never had and it was unbelievably delicious. I will get that again for sure. The crepe was excellent and came with more herbs than I could use or identify. Could have used another lettuce leaf though. Megan had her usual, the grilled pork bun (not a roll bun, it is noodles and lettuce in a bowl). Her grilled pork was great. Bun usually comes with fried spring rolls, and hers did! Why couldn't I get mine? Doesn't matter, it was great and I will be back. I saw that they have crab and asparagus soup, a menu item I like but do not see often. Next time!

Nam Phuong - Jimmy Carter Blvd, Norcross, GA…read more Nam Phuong is a great spot for family-style Vietnamese dishes and sharing plates. Three Delights Platter (Nam Phuong Ba Vị) I actually saw this on TikTok and had to try it. This platter comes with pork slices (thịt luộc), beef wrapped in betel leaves (bò lá lốt), and shrimp paste on sugarcane (chạo tôm), served with vermicelli noodles (bún) and fresh herbs. Our favorite combo was the pork and shrimp wrapped with veggies in rice paper. The betel leaf beef tasted a bit bland to us -- not sure if we're eating it correctly? Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese Crispy Crepe) -- 9/10 One of my must-orders here. It's a big crispy Vietnamese crepe with a golden exterior. Inside there are shrimp and bean sprouts, with a light coconut flavor in the batter. Break off a piece, wrap it with lettuce and herbs, and dip it in fish sauce (nước mắm). So good. Salt & Pepper Squid (Mực Rang Muối) -- 9/10 One of their most popular appetizers. The squid is fried until crispy and tossed with garlic and salt-pepper seasoning. Crunchy and savory. Fish Sauce Wings (Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm) -- 8.8/10 Deep-fried until crispy, then tossed in a sweet caramelized fish sauce glaze with garlic and a little spice. Sticky, crispy, and super addictive, though it was a little sweeter than usual this time. Papaya Salad (Gỏi Đu Đủ Tôm Thịt) -- 8/10 Shredded green papaya, shrimp, and pork tossed in a sweet-sour fish sauce and lime dressing. Flavorful.

I think their dishes although prepared authentically are underwhelming in terms of the depths in flavor and really the soul of Vietnamese food. I'm not an expert but I've eaten my fair share of Vietnamese food for a standard issue white girl. The pork patty was dry and likely made at the beginning of the week and just reheated as the week went on. It was pretty bland and had this rubbery overly bouncy consistency and literally snapped when I bit into it. It basically got lost amongst all the fresh herbs too. As you can tell from the photo the Bánh bột chiên was burnt and it ended up being burnt on both sides. The squares were cut too thick...and because they were cut too thick they were on the mushy side even after being overly pan fried. All of the veg was fresh and well cleaned, the rice noodles were not overly sticky and clumped together. The pickled carrot/daikon were tasty. The server I had was attentive and polite. The interior was as to be expected and I couldn't care less that it's a little rough around the edges. If the tile isn't cracked, if the booth's vinyl isn't taped up, the utensils aren't mismatched and the tables aren't wobbly then I don't trust the place!! Like I said-I don't dislike it here. I just don't see the hype. Then again I feel like I have to piece together my favorite dishes from several spots between Doraville/Chamblee and Duluth, so maybe it's because I haven't found one place that checks all the boxes and I can get all my favs from one place. I will come again...because I love Bánh hỏi.

It's very rare that I say to myself in excitement that that was a good sandwich and this was it. After eating the BBQ Pork, I was impressed. The Wow Banh Mi was ok, the pork skin in the sandwich would be my only turn off. Everything was great. Perfect with the side of soup to moisten the bread. The pork paste roll is basically the texture of a sliced sausage within the spring roll. Maybe more like the texture of spam, but not spam. The sauce served alongside the rolls is what really makes the dish. Off rip, this is across the street from the DICKs/PetSmart plaza just off Peachtree Pkwy in Peachtree Corners. It's a tiny little plaza so don't miss the road off Peachtree Pkwy or else you will miss it entirely and double back. If you come to LA Fitness, you've gone too far! Let's start with the interior It is spacious! The whole restaurant uses the corner suite of the building entirely and curved the whole place to create this decently expansive interior that looks to seat roughly 100 heads. The decor is very homely... almost like a Vietnamese Hobby Lobby threw up in the place... that's not a dig! It's a very welcoming environment. Between the deer head and the Saigon-esque decor, it's a welcoming joint! The service is basic. You get sat. You look at the menu. You order. They bring out the fixins'. You eat. You pay. You leave. I got one refill during my 45 eating time.. The food! Had to order the pho because... it's the most basic standard thing to gauge any all around Viet joint. The pho is the standard that tells you if the place is good. I will say, this place has a far richer, deeper broth. Plus it's fattier as I've noticed a slight sheen to my lips after slurping this broth down. The broth had less cinnamon and more corriander/cardamom forward flavor than other places. It's not a bad thing, just far different than the other places that has a more pronounced cinnamon forward flavor to the broth. This one has more depth and has a far richer taste to it. I do appreciate that they err on the side of serving tendon and tripe in their P10. And the XL is definitely an XL. The noodles did come out stuck together but the broth did take care of. I was a little disappointed that they had to opt with lemons instead of the traditional limes and they did not have basil at my visit. Maybe next time they will when I visit because I will have to make a visit again just to try the pho to make sure it's not a one off but that they stay consistent. Overall this place is comparable to some of the popular ones in and around the Norcross/Duluth area. The prices are definitely comparable with this joint's XL being at $17.95, it's definitely comparable to other places, but the identities of the restaurants are different and this one has an interior that stands out above the rest. Definitely recommend!

Bear in mind, I visited this location back in June of 2024 but just forgot to make this review. I am still basing this review on the detailed notes I take at every restaurant, but take this review with a grain of salt as things may have changed in the year and a half it has been since I visited this location. (PS: According ti their online menu, their prices have increased since my visit) Atmosphere: Medium-light ambience. Dragon Ball themed decorations. Tables are very close together so not a good restaurant for an intimate meal as you can clearly hear every conversation around you. Food: For appetizers we got the Goi Cuon / Shrimp Fresh Spring Rolls ($4.95). This was the only decent thing we had. Ingredients were fresh, the sauce had good flavor, and was reasonably priced. I got the Pho Dac Biet ($15.95). This dish was very disappointing to me. It was a new experience to get the noodles and meat on the side. I guess they want you to put it in yourself so that the noodles would be fresh and not soggy? Or it may be another gimmick to "build it yourself" for entertainment. Either way, I wasn't a fan of this style of serving. Just bring it to me assembled with the vegetables on the side like other Vietnamese restaurants. Besides that, the dish overall was just bad. Two important components to pho: Rich broth and bouncy noodles. The broth was very subpar and the noodles were terrible. Not the standard vermicelli you would get with traditional pho. No bounce, way too soft, not enjoyable at all, and not filling. My companion got the Com Bo Luc Lac / Rice with Sauteed Shaking Beef (Filet Mignon) ($17.95). There wasn't much to say about this dish. The beef was decently tender, but it lacked flavor. Overall the dish was pretty bland. Service: This is what had me upset. My companion and I put our orders in together at the same time. It took almost 20 minutes to get my order. I'm the type to not start on my meal until everyone at the table gets their food. Another 20 minutes pass and my companion had not gotten her food yet. I asked the waiter how long it was going to take. He asked what she ordered and said he would ask the kitchen. Another 15 minutes later, he brought out her food. I suspect that they somehow forgot about her order, put it in again, and then made us wait for the chef to cook it. In total, we waited about 40 minutes to get all of our food. By the time my companion got her food, my pho was already lukewarm. Overall: I would not recommend this restaurant. I would only be happy to pay the price they charged me for my pho only if it were quality, even average pho. The food overall was subpar. The service was careless. You're not paying for good food, you're paying for the gimmicks. Dai Loi 3 is a much better option

They do have a few chairs to sit near the front door while waiting for your to-go order. The service was really great, and the women working the floor were all smiles. It took around 10 minutes from ordering to get our goods. Now to the food. Words cannot express the bliss I experienced biting into these sandwiches. We did the buy 5 get 1 free deal, which is a certified steal given the quality of the food. It came out to 25.75 after taxes and card fee -- C'MON NOW! The Capricorn in me loves a good deal. Half were the #6, the other three were the #7. The bread banged, the meats' quality and quantity were absolutely outstanding, and it was stuffed full of all the amazing veggie fixings and condiments. The seasonings are YUM with a nice hint of spice to round out the flavor. The sandwich literally had the perfect ratio of everything. And no re-heating necessary! These sandwiches were eaten over the course of two days and they didn't become hard or soggy, a testament to the quality. I have nothing else to say and I promise you the banh mi speaks for itself. Pho Dai Loi 2 came highly recommended to me by several Vietnamese friends here in Atlanta, and now…read moreI understand why. This is the spot if you care about food over frills. There's no real ambiance to speak of--but when the food is this good, it truly doesn't matter. The value here is incredible. The portions are generous, the quality is consistently excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Most importantly, the pho is as authentic as I've had anywhere. The depth of flavor in the broth, the freshness of the ingredients, and the balance of aromatics all hit exactly the right notes. My Vietnamese friends who eat here regularly have confirmed the same: this is the real deal. If you're looking for a place where the food speaks for itself--and speaks loudly--Pho Dai Loi 2 is it. This is the place. 5/5 no room for debate
