Welp....16 dollars for this plate. No extra lettuce, no rice paper rolls, no extra leafy veggies. The meat wasn't cooked to order, it's premade and warmed through. Lettuce was a little wilted, but the sprouts had been snipped and were decently fresh in terms of crispness and taste. I will give it to them, none of the noodles stuck together. I was able to pull and pick up each section individually. Side note, they have cups of pre-poured water sitting around where people and employees walk by them constantly. Drenched cuttlefish is flavorless and rubbery, could not keep gaslighting myself into swallow. The clear noodle was somewhat of a mismatch as it could not keep the sauce/oil bastered enough, kept missing the thin rice noodle the hu tieus usually come with. I've been coming to this location for years now. I can say with confidence that this never disappoints! Every time I visit this spot the customer service is always top tier. From them coming by to fill water or asking you would you like anything additional. From the feasible prices to the quality food they produce. I decided to come here on a Saturday while wrapping up doing my errands. One of the things I do like about this place is how great the pho noodle soup broth tastes. Not a bad spot for Vietnamese food! Large casual restaurant with kind staff. Got seated immediately for Sunday lunch. Got the the fresh spring rolls with grilled pork and it was pretty good but wished there was more than just meat, noodles, and lettuce. Some additional veggies like cucumber, mint, and carrot would have been nice. For mains, we ordered the special vermicelli - bun dac biet and a special pho - pho dac biet. I enjoyed all the toppings on my vermicelli - large portion and flavorful. The fish sauce could have been a little stronger though. My husband didn't love his pho but I thought it was fine! Staff is super! I came here for dinner with my Husband and son. I accidentally left my purse and when I came back, staff was super courteous and had it in a safe storage area. We enjoyed our pho and spring rolls. I also tried the green tea smoothie with tapioca which was excellent. One of my favorite pho places in the Atlanta area, decent prices and serving sizes with fast service! The restaurant is pretty calm the majority of the time I've been and very clean. In my order, I specifically asked for number 15 and I wanted additional sauces, including and I wrote "house made" chili oil". I live in Marietta. By the time I got home and found out the chili oil that I love so much at his maiden house by one of the sisters was not in there I am livid! Made another visit. This time we had bowls of pho. Maybe this is what I should've ordered during my meals here because the pho broth, one of the most flavorful coming directly out of the kitchen (without me adding any other toppings) has become one of my favorites out of all the other pho houses we've gone to recently. I was also amazed at the generous amount of meat and anything else that you order that they put in the pho. I guess that kind of justifies the higher prices found at Pho Bac. The service kind of confuses me because employees are attentive to customers up until they serve the food. They acknowledge customers quickly, seat them quickly, take their orders quickly, and serve their food within a decent time frame. After that, however, customers have to flag them down for anything and everything else because they don't check on you unless they're prompted. So if you need drink refills, have any questions, or want your check, you have to flag your suddenly inattentive server down.
