I love pho, pho tai is one of my favorite dishes ever. This was my first trip to Buford hwy, I've always heard it has the best pho. This place was a little bit of a let down. By no means was it bad, but first thing the pho broth was inexplicity hot, it's always hot yes, but so hot I had to wait almost 20 minutes to eat it and by the time it hit my table the meat was all the way brown. The meat and noodles were good, but the broth was lacking flavor. Fried rice was good. The place is currently very odd inside? It has an empty fish tank and new marble signs and odd parts of the restaraunt blocked off, with 2 names of "i luv pho" and "master pho". Overall, I'd go back, but this wouldn't be my first pick. read more

Stopped by after a late flight. We landed 1am so there weren't many options available as we didn't want "fast food". It was our first time here so we assumed it would be like the other I luv pho located in Duluth. It wasn't. Being so late/early there was only one other table occupied. The host was ready for us as soon as we walked in. Told us to sit anywhere. We chose a booth. (Y'all those tables are too low/seats too high. I was hunched over the whole time trying to eat my pho..) We ordered phos, roast pork banh mi, and chicken nuggets off the kids meals. The pho broth was okay. The noodles used were not my favorite. They're the thicker noodles, different from what is usually used at other restaurants and they were almost slimy. Starchy. We had to ask for chili oil since the only condiments on the table was Sriracha and hoisen. Some fish sauce would have been good to add as well. There's also only one size for pho. The banh mi was also okay. Wouldn't get it again, especially for $8.. My son actually really enjoyed the nuggets and fries. They looked good! Service was very good though there were only a few of us there. Some officers came in shortly after we did so we felt extra safe knowing they were in the area. Wish Duluth was still 24hrs because that would've been more convenient for us BUT this was convenient enough. read more

Whenever I'm missing home, I turn to broken rice. Here, I got the broken rice with pork ribs. I Luv Pho provides so many delicious sides that come with this classic dish: pickled radish and carrots, tomatoes, an over-easy egg, tomatoes, fish sauce, and chili paste. You can mix and match so many flavors within one dish--I love that each bite is different from the last yet just as satisfying. You get the bang for your buck when you go to I Luv Pho! If I had a larger stomach, I would've loved to order their avocado smoothie to give it a try. The service was good--the waiters were pretty attentive for a mostly empty restaurant. This place was beautiful and surprisingly not busy even though the Chinese restaurant that I could see out the window was hopping. The food was phenomenal! This is my favorite pho spot! If you're a veggie person, this is it. They pack their veggie pho FULL of various, fresh veggies and tofu. I order it with the beef broth for extra flavor though. Servers are nice and service is very fast!!!! There is no where else in the Atlanta area I've found with even close to as many veggies in their veggie pho. I always make the drive here. It's giving authentic Vietnamese food !! I came here with a couple of friends, bc I wanted to introduce them to pho, as I'm obsessed. They loved it. A family style restaurant, this is my kind of place. The atmosphere was so wholesome and it made me really happy to be here with friends. Even the table setup - round and familial- was inviting. The manager came out and spoke to us, walked my friends through the menu and helped us order. We got salt and pepper shrimp as an appetizer, vegetarian pho, chicken, seafood and beef. When I tell you the flavors were giving?? So good. The vegetarian broth was flavorful, the noodles were homemade. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the noodles being placed in top of the veg and protein, so all the meat was trapped underneath. Some of my friends said it got a bit overcooked that way. Our overall dining experience was worse than OK. Parking was easy to find. I Luv Pho shares with its neighbors a free parking lot that wraps around the building. We came here at 8 pm on a recent Sunday, and it was pretty quiet, with lots of available parking. This isn't the first time we've been here, but it's the first time we came here since the pandemic started. We walked in and were immediately greeted by one of the employees who motioned to the spacious dining area that had only one table occupied and told us that we could sit anywhere we wanted. We sat down, and waited for about 5 minutes before our server came around. I noticed that the air conditioner was set to a very cool temperature. One thing that hasn't changed here is the "smell" of this restaurant. It smelled like a toilet had backed up. I had smelled this malodor previously at this same restaurant during our two previous times eating here. This smell was masked by the smell of bleach later when one of the employees decided he was going to mop the floor then turn on a fan. The smell of the bleach somehow wasn't as strong as the stench odor, and it managed to hide the original smell. We both ordered vermicelli dishes. R ordered the vermicelli with shrimp and grilled pork. I ordered the vermicelli with an egg roll and grilled pork. The flavors of the food were good. The quality of the pork, however, lacked, and the pieces of pork were cut very thin. They were cut so thin that the air conditioner made them cold very quickly, so we had to eat fast. The egg roll was excellent - hot, crispy and flavorful. The service was not so good. Even though there were only 5 customers in the whole restaurant, there were time when we needed some things (like eating utensils, water, napkins) only to have to wait because the server wasn't available in the dining area. I did get my own napkins after I noticed a whole bunch on a table set up for take out orders. After this experience, I really doubt that I'll be back. There are many more pho restaurants that have better quality food and much better service. This is our 3rd time smelling the bad odor, and this definitely was not a charm. read more

We came here at an odd time on a Saturday afternoon (3:30pm). The parking lot was empty and I wasn't even sure if the restaurant was open. We did find our way in and got seated immediately. What struck me right away was the smell of the place. It smelled terrible and I believe this is the regular smell. There were no lights on either and the natural light is not that great, so zero stars for the ambiance. I would have got up and left right away, but decided to give it a try. We ordered quickly and the pho tai was very oily. There was a lot of meat in the dish and the broth was okay. There are several TVs nearby. The service was okay, no one checked up on us to refill waters or anything. I walked up and paid at the front when finished. I really do luv Pho. So since moving closer to BuHi, I figured, everywhere I go, I'll get some food Pho. Unfortunately, I LuvPho was just ok. I ordered online and they had my food ready hot and fresh when I got there. The veggie (tofu) pho was quite bland and I ended up having to add some seasoning to it. Maybe they used a different broth? The fresh spring rolls were good, but too much tofu. Happy to support this place but I'll probably try a different place next time. read more

This place is good. I would give it 4 stars. The staff is fast and friendly. The taro shake is so so good. The food is pretty good too but not consistently the same and so they lost a point. I would definitely come here again though! Their menu is large with variety. Def go and give it a shot. Glad I did! Went back and up-ed it to 4 Stars! The chicken vermicelli and the chicken/egg roll vermicelli were delicious. It's always packed and the staff today was excellent. Food came out fast. Parking outside is free. Been here a few times before and it's never been my favorite, but came back recently for a 9pm dinner on a Tuesday night as I was still having work done on my house and wanted to eat somewhere quick. There were about 10+ tables in the dining area and I was surprised to see such a large number of patrons so late on a weeknight. I decided on a bowl of pho pretty quickly, as it seems that's their specialty since they have an entire page of their menu devoted to this tasty stuff. I ordered the P14: Pho Tai Chin - beef filet mignon and brisket. As expected, the pho came out very quickly. HOLY GREASE BOMB. I ordered a small, and even in that size of a bowl, there was probably a 1/4 inch of grease resting on top. There isn't a ton of meat or a ton of noodles to lighten things up, either. I tried my best to eat what noodles and meat I had -- I didn't think eating spoonfuls of grease at 9pm would be the smartest move. I'm sure lots of people love this place, it's just not for me. Lots of staff everywhere -- front desk staff, host staff, several wait staff, a manager. I would have expected excellent service, but I had to flag a server down for my check, then when no one came back to take my credit card, had to go to the front desk to pay, where I found the manager there talking to the front desk lady. I get it, it's 10pm at an Asian restaurant - I'm not expecting the best service, but if you're going to staff so many people, make sure they're taking care of the basics. read more

This was my second visit to I Luv Pho. They have a private parking lot so there isn't any issues finding a place to park. You can order to go or opt to dine in just make sure if you are ordering to go you know the exact item # of what you are ordering because you could end up with anything. During this visit on a Friday night my boyfriend and I dined in and were seated immediately. The atmosphere is nothing fancy but there is plenty of light and the restaurant was clean. That night it was 34 degrees outside and about 60 in the restaurant so I was a tad uncomfortable. During my previous visit my friend who loves this place ordered the pho p11 and raved about how amazing it is. I've never had the pho so I can't say for sure. I can say their Thai Tea is amazing. During this visit we both ordered the shrimp fried rice and I added veggies to mine. The portions were huge and there were plenty of shrimp and veggies in my entree. Everything was fresh and the veggies were cooked to perfection, it included Bok Choy , broccoli and mushrooms... all my favorites. I give my dish 5 stars. My boyfriend is a picky eater and he loved his dish as well. Our waitress was awesome and checked on us frequently. If you are out late on a Friday or Saturday night and want good food the Duluth I Luv Pho location is open 24/7. This location shows on the website that they close at 4am on Friday and Saturday but I drove past at 1230am on a Friday and they were closed, I'm not sure of their hours hopefully they will update their website. read more

We've been to plenty of other pho establishments back home and the The broth was medicocre at best , not very memorable . It's good if you just want hot soup and noodles. The only plus is they are open late after 10pm. I would drop this place down to a 2 1/2 stars simply because it reeked of bleach smell as we enter the restaurant. The pho broth was flavorless, the chicken tasted strange and the bean sprouts were actually slimy. There are too many good pho places on Buford Highway to waste $50 here on overpriced and subpar food. I couldn't even finish it. I Luv Pho on Buford highway has been a stable place to get Vietnamese food in atlanta for several years. Been to their Jimmy Carter location as well but this location is more convenient for me. There's a variety of dishes to choose from from the basic pho, vermicelli, and rice plate combos. The more fun dishes include the clay pot rice topped with stir-fry or their Vietnamese beef stew, which I recommend getting with a side of broken Jasmine rice. My favorite steamed rice! It even comes in the shape of a heart here, adorable :) It's spacious enough inside you usually do not have to wait to be seated. This is nice because lots more Atlantans have discovered Buford highway's awesome restaurants and everything seems to be more packed lately. Service here is sometimes good or so so. Food usually comes out fairly quickly so if you're hungry and want your food asap, this is the place for you. Their water comes with a slice of orange which gives it a refreshing kick. Overall a great place to grab Vietnamese for lunch or dinner. read more
