We dined here to celebrate our friends birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's such a happy and warm place to dine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They even allowed us to bring our own birthday cake which was fantastic. The birthday girl is very picky about cake so thank you for that. That is great including Padthai and panag curry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is really nice and I'll definitely be back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Early lunch at Colonial Kitchen

We love Colonial Kitchen. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A lovely restaurant with a calm vibe, this pretty space is relaxing and so enjoyable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We haven't ventured onto the patio yet but plan to do so soon, now the weather is cooler. My personal favorite are the drunken noodles. Portions are large, easily enough to share. Full of your choice of protein ( I like the ground chicken) and fresh, crunchy veggies, this dish always pleases. My husband loves their rice dishes, like basil beef and ginger chicken, and we both love their dumplings. Service is professional and understated. Everything is always prepared with the freshest ingredients. I haven't been able to tear myself away from noodles yet, but when I do, I'm going to try one of their highly recommended curry dishes. I love spicy foods and Colonial is happy to oblige. I can handle a lot of heat but their Thai spicy is one level too high for me, so I opt for extra spicy. Spicy-shy diners will be happy as well.

Rama Chicken

I came for an early dinner on a Friday. The place is easy to find next to Target and has lots of free parking beside and behind the building. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is a lovely outdoor patio and an indoor bar area in addition to the main dining room of ten or twelve tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was seated immediately at an indoor table. On this occasion I did not try any cocktails, but went directly to the entree. I had the Rama Chicken which turned out to be delicious. A breaded, crispy chicken breast sliced on top of cooked vegetables (zucchini, carrot, cabbage, broccoli) with a thick peanut sauce. A bowl of steamed white rice came on the side. I ate every scrap of food on the dish and was too full for dessert, although I would have loved to try their mango sticky rice or one of the homemade cakes. Next time! Service was quick and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was decorated beautifully and in great condition.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I'll start by saying after visiting a few times, there's not a single thing I wouldn't order again or recommend. Instead of going item by item, I'm going to just list them out because think you should go try them all. Panang Gyoza Fried Calamari Thai Egg Rolls Steamed Dumplings Colonial Beef Pad Thai, w. shrimp and chicken Crabmeat Fried Rice Drunken Noodle Colonial Fried Rice, w. Beef and Shrimp Mocktails My only complaint is they never believe me when I say I want my heat level to be Thai Hot/Very Hot haha.

Crab Rangoon & Thai Tea

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a beautiful and elegant restaurant with a friendly and welcoming staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Me and my girlfriend went here to grab some food rather late on Monday, (Indigenous People Day) and it was kind of slow likely due to the holiday.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They were willing to accommodate us, but we just didn't want to sit outside. So we decided to take our food to go. Noy, the lady who was working the front and welcoming guest was so nice and grateful for our business. We ordered and looked over the lunch menu and how affordable everything was. I was really excited to try the Crab Rangoon. As we waited for our food (Shrimp Pad Thai & Chicken Cashew) out comes Noy with our drinks and an order of fresh Crab Rangoon with a house sauce. Literally some of the best I've ever had. Flaky, light, with a textured filling. I could probably eat a dozen of those if I wasn't careful. We sat and chatted with her for a while until the food was prepared. I can't wait to come back and try more of the items on the menu. It was such a pleasant surprise and speaks so highly of the staff's commitment to service and attention to detail. Also, the other dishes were absolutely delicious. We also ordered a Mango Sticky Rice...I've been thinking about it for 72 straight hours!

Visiting Colonial because of a highly suggested recommendation from my boss. I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. They were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The spring rolls and vegetable fried rice were tasty! The drinks were strong but sooooo good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining area was small but chic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do have a bar away from the dining area that you can order food and drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend making a reservation even for lunch.

Drunkin Noodles with Tofu

I ordered the drunkin noodles with tofu via uber eats. The meal was delicious and the portion was huge. Definitely a new go-to thai spot.

Panang Gyoza
Elizabeth R.

Stopped in for a quick appetizer at the bar while waiting for traffic to die down. The staff were friendly and I really enjoyed the panang gyoza. They had free Wi-Fi and didn't mind me pulling my laptop out to answer a few emails. I would definitely come back here for a full meal when I have more time.

Indian Spice Roti

Walked in here on Friday because my boyfriend was craving Thai. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat out in the patio, which was beautiful![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with the roti which was good but wasn't a ton of food and then got the green curry and the pad see ew for our entrees, both portions were HUGE and very tasty. Service was good.

Fried Calamari

We came here on a Friday night to celebrate my friend's birthday. Good thing they are located I. The shopping center and have plenty of parking. As you walk in you are greeted by the beautiful patio. I wish it wasn't so hot that we could sit on the patio. Inside is cute too and we got seated right away. We started with both got lychee martini and they were on a strong side. I couldn't even finish mine, now mind I'm a super light drinker. We got calamari for our starter and they were nice and crispy. I got drunken noodles and it was delicious. And my friend got a noodle dish nd she said that was good as well. Service was a bit slow, but they made up for it with a complimentary mango sticky rice for my friend's birthday. I'll definitely be back

This is one of the five locations, and everyday their menu changes slightly so make sure to check that something you like is being served that day. I typically get the Chicken Noodle Soup (my favorite!) but since it wasn't on the menu today I went with the Tomato Basil. This was very good, but nowhere near as satisfying as the chicken noodle. Personally I like my tomato soups extra thick and creamy, which isn't how I would describe this one. However if that's not your style, this may be for you. I got it with a multi grain roll and chocolate chip cookie and when the roll was dipped in the soup, it was exceptional. And the cookie tasted nice and fresh. There's a free, private lot for parking, and lots of seating indoors and outdoors. The interior is adorable, drenched in yellows and reds, and the staff is very friendly and happy to give a recommendation. A great lunch option if you're over by Blandtown.

I usually get a combo, which is $20 but usually feeds me for more than one meal when I take it to go. Because it's counter-service the food comes out quick, and the servers are always really friendly. This is where I always take my grandparents for lunch when they're in town or where I can study and eat.

They validate parking for 2 hours in the parking garage right next to it but street parking is $2 an hour so not too bad. Pho was super flavorful! I got the house special and my mom got the bon bue (probably spelled it so wrong but something similar). It was well spiced and she loved it--she's a hard critic. Service, though, didn't match up. When we walked in, their staff member at the front handed us menus, told us to sit wherever and to come back up to order and pay right away. So we ordered, tipped and paid upfront. We had to grab our own water with styrofoam cups, which was fine but what wasn't great was the lack of service after that. No one checked on us and the same guy at the front never once acknowledged how our food was or if we needed anything. On his phone the whole time never once left his spot in the front. Even as we were leaving and saying thank you, he didn't look up from his phone. So my overall experience dining in was ehh it was ok. I would def do take out next time instead of dining in. The service experience definitely needs improvement to match it.

The noodle soup was a major letdown. When it arrived, I couldn't find a single speck of actual meat on the pork belly - it was literally 100% fat. I was in disbelief, I thought the meat fell off into the soup, there wasn't any inside. this was completely inedible, and I had to separate the pork belly on my plate. On top of that, there was absolutely no meat on the bone or any marrow inside the bone. It was literally just a bare bone thrown in with the noodles. Even the egg was overcooked and served whole, instead of being cut in half like it is pictured on the menu. Thankfully I ordered a second dish of protein. The Hainanese chicken was supposed to be the star of the show. While the initial bite with the yellow rice was decent, something felt off as I kept eating. It just didn't taste freshly cooked and lacked a real, natural chicken flavor. When the server asked how everything was, I pointed out the plate of separated fat and explained the issue with the pork belly. They were apologetic but "that's how it is." Overall, it was a very disappointing experience with lot of room for improvement.
