Arrived on November 29th Saturday 2025. ,at their college park location...purchased the liver and onions combo..sides were mashed potatoes and corn ...purchased 2 desserts ..peach cobler...and chocolate cake......it took about 9 minutes...from selecting my items, and paying for my purchase....1st...the liver and onions , was very good ..the liver was tender, well seasoned..hot....the mashed potatoes was ok...the corn was also fresh and hot....2nd..the dinner roll I received was cold, and not fresh....3rd..my peach cobler, was cold...although it tasted good....4th..I noticed all Piccadilly portions are very small..not worth the money they are asking......5th...the restaurant was very clean...the restrooms , are also very clean...the atmosphere was good, mostly populated by senior citizens...very peaceful environment.....the female white waiter, who walked the dining area, greeting customers, asking if everyone is ok...was nice and professional....I gave her a $5.00 dollar tip as I exited...the building exterior was clean, with plenty of parking..and looked very safe..

3/2/2020 Not really what I had in mind for dinner tonight but we thought we'd give it a try. Food was ok. It wasn't hot either. I tried the shrimp diablo, fried okra, and broccoli. Okra was rather hard. Broccoli not so good. The shrimp was good it just wasn't hot. The place was empty, however there were a lot of to go orders coming through. The customer service was nice. Our waitress was such a sweet lil lady. Im willing to give them another try in the future. Maybe?

I really wanted to like the parmesan crusted fish, but someone should hide the salt from the chef. Similar story on the carrots, which needs the sweetener dialed back. But in general we love the Piccadilly

    Gushy "Mac n cheese"

They only get 1star because the chicken tenders weren't terrible. I was insulted by the gush they call Mac n Cheese, the corn bread had no flavor and was very dry. The mash n gravy was the only appeasing thing about the whole meal. Horrible food, lucky I was working and hungry

I've enjoyed the food from here about 2 years. It reminds me of place back home (California) called Cliftons. They also had great food.

When I walked in, the restaurant was busy, and it was obvious they had a lot of orders to handle. Even with all that was going on, Sydney greeted me with a warm smile, made eye contact, asked how my day was going, and made me feel like a valued customer. She was friendly, engaging, and never seemed overwhelmed despite leading the team and keeping everything running smoothly. That's the kind of customer service that leaves a lasting impression. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I can definitely see why this place stays busy. Great food is one thing, but outstanding employees like Sydney are what keep people coming back. Keep up the great work!

The sweet potato pie, was flavorless. It tasted like a bland custard. July 27th visit..tried the meatloaf again. It was horrible. The mashed potatoes tasted sour, they ran out of cornbread so I asked for some white bread, the server, gave me a crazed look and said..I will see what I can do...the sweet potatoes were bland, and very little...i purchased a piece of white layered cake , with orange colored icing...the cake was definitely stale, and cold from constant refrigeration, which is to simply hide the staleness....i will never ever eat at another big daddy,s restaurant again...the cashier, before she ran up my purchase, asked me if I don't mind reading and answering a question displayed on the cash register monitor screen...that question was how much would you like to Tip.....not did you find everything ok...is there anything thing else I can do for you.. No simply how much do you want to tip.. Avoid this old national location at all Cost. The food is simply repulsive....and yes I gave a tip of 4.00 dollars to the cashier. And $10.00 dollars to the older cute waitress, who was so rude. She didn't say even thankyou..Avoid at all Cost. I recall around 2017..bid daddy had a restaurant location downtown, near the courthouse...i and my co workers went to try his food. I ordered spaghetti and to my surprise they put bbq sauce in their spaghetti.....all these years and their food and service is still on the bottom I

I mean, really, it's a whale of a deal. Actually, they may have even included the tip I left them, I'm not sure. It was, after Atlanta prices, just a wonderfully good deal in any event. When I visited there were about four choices of the meat/main dish: I believe fried fish, fried chicken, maybe pork chops, and the sausage and cabbage I got. For the sides, there were around eight or ten choices, quite a few in any case. I had the succotash which was nicely spicy and served over a small amount of white rice plus the collard greens which were expertly cooked. The sausage and cabbage was very good as well. As was the cornbread. Indeed, in no sense was anything at all lacking or amiss. Everything was excellent. This place is nothing fancy, make no mistake. But it doesn't need to be: it's perfect down-home food and very nice folks. It's exactly what it claims to be, what you'd hope to find if seeking Southern food in Georgia. I highly recommend it all.

We parked behind the building and a woman who worked there had the door open. She had on a shirt that read Legalize being Black. My husband had on a Black Lives Matter shirt, & I had on a Juneteenth shirt. She smiled and raised her fist at us as we asked to enter through the door and we responded in kind. I love us! She toke U.S. to grab a menu as we walked in to the right of the bar. We found a high top and found what we wanted and went to the counter to order. The prices are reasonable until you get to adding the sides. I overheard another worker tell a couple who ordered after us to order the veggie plate if they were getting 4 sides as it was cheaper. I wish the person who took our order had told use that. The entrees are à la carte and priced reasonably. The sides are $5 each with a few exceptions, a hoecake is $2 and mac & cheese and a couple other sides are $6. Keep that in mind when you come. Our total for our inside dining with a can of ginger ale, fountain Diet Coke, & tip was like $70+ & the to go order for our son's meal w/o a drink was ~$30. It's definitely a good value if you only need an entree and have sides already. The food is good and has large pieces of meat & decent portions so there you go... I ordered the fried green tomatoes as a starter, smoked beef brisket with the barbecue sauce on the side, smoked turkey cabbage, dressing, & the lemon pound cake. Ironically, the fried green tomatoes came out last. They were piping hot though. They could've used a dash of salt but that cornmeal batter was perfection on the tomatoes. You get 3 and 1 was cut a little too thick and it was slightly mushy maybe cause it had to cook longer? But it was still good. The beef brisket was good. It's sliced thin and had that good smoke flavor and was seasoned well. The thicker slices could've been a bit more tender but overall it could rival some barbecue joints. The dressing was good and so was the cabbage, though it was almost tad bit saltier than I'd like. I'd order everything I had again. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed my food. You know not everyone who claims to cook southern food can do so. Oh the pound cake was good and moist. It reminds me of Sammy Chhesecake pound cake. My husband ordered the 3 pieces of fried chicken, collard greens & they do have a lil kick as the menu suggests, green beans, & yellow rice. He was pleasantly surprised with how big the pieces of chicken were. Nowadays people give you what looks like pigeon parts ‍. He said it was a tad salty. He said he also enjoyed his meal otherwise. I forgot to get pictures of the food for our son's takeout order of fried pork chops, collard greens, mac & cheese, & a hoecake. He liked his food as well but also said his pork chops, which were nice size center cut, were well seasoned, but a little too much. He enjoyed the meal and his 1st hoecake. They also do catering and seemed to have a large catering order being prepared to go out. The restaurant & woman's restroom was clean. The staff were friendly and quickly acknowledged us. The music was good but it would've been good to hear a mix of old school with the hip hop since it was Juneteenth. They have a full bar. The only thing I didn't like was Fox News & another conservative news channel on; at least not on JuneteenthZ a generic movie or TV show would've been better for me anyway. They had a steady stream of to go orders and in person dining. I guess we're just late to know about
