In a word, inedible. Ordered thru Door Dash. While food got to my home quickly, the food was horrible! Ordered chicken fingers with two sides and extra jalapeno cornbread. Fairly simple right? Wrong. Where do I start? Chicken was overcooked, one of the sides was incorrect. The macaroni and cheese was extremely salty with clumps of unmeted cheese. Didn't get the extra corn bread ordered. Wound up throwing out the food (which is a sin in my book). I could have saved the driver time and gas. I would have had the same outcome by just burning the $25.00 spent. This Piccadilly is the worst they have roaches crawling around by the steam table. Arrived on November 29th Saturday 2025. ,at their college park location...purchased the liver and onions combo..sides were mashed potatoes and corn ...purchased 2 desserts ..peach cobler...and chocolate cake......it took about 9 minutes...from selecting my items, and paying for my purchase....1st...the liver and onions , was very good ..the liver was tender,well seasoned..hot....the mashed potatoes was ok...the corn was also fresh and hot....2nd..the dinner roll I received was cold,and not fresh....3rd..my peach cobler,was cold...although it tasted good....4th..I noticed all Piccadilly portions are very small..not worth the money they are asking......5th...the restaurant was very clean...the restrooms , are also very clean...the atmosphere was good, mostly populated by senior citizens...very peaceful environment.....the female white waiter,who walked the dining area,greeting customers, asking if everyone is ok...was nice and professional....I gave her a $5.00 dollar tip as I exited...the building exterior was clean, with plenty of parking..and looked very safe.. read more

3/2/2020 Not really what I had in mind for dinner tonight but we thought we'd give it a try. Food was ok. It wasn't hot either. I tried the shrimp diablo, fried okra, and broccoli. Okra was rather hard. Broccoli not so good. The shrimp was good it just wasn't hot. The place was empty, however there were a lot of to go orders coming through. The customer service was nice. Prices surprised me, more expensive than expected and the food temperature was not good

Food was good. Service not so great. Spoke with the manager who basically blew me completely off. Lucky for me the district manager was on site today. I have been coming to this location for over 45 years but after today I will find somewhere else to grab my liver and onions. I have been to several Piccadilly's in-state and out-of-state Piccadilly's on Godby Road is the worst that I've ever seen the fish. The sweet potatoes is awful. They must have got a so called cook, but this cook cannot cook. They need to find people that can cook everybody cooking soul food cannot cook. Please get someone else or Train Disculpe to be better. My old soul craves Piccadilly at times and specifically at this location. I have been going to this one since I was a little girl and surprisingly, everything still tastes the same. Even the some of the same people work there since I was little! Is the food the best food in the world? No, just taste slightly better above high school cafeteria food but the fried chicken is on point with flavor everytime I go. Also you may have to ask them to put more food on your adult plate because they think all woman eat like birds and give me kid portions. Eating there really gives me a calm mood because majority of the customers are 50+ and are enjoying a quiet dinner or chat with their grandkids. We missed the one in Conyers, but were glad we did. Our overly excitable dog was in the car. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and the service was fast and attentive. The liver and onions was fantastic. Nobody does it better than Piccadilly. read more

Trying to find some veggies near the airport, went to Picadilly on Old National and Godby Rd. Walked in the door at noon, and figured the place would be packed, but only 2 people in line, and only about 20 inside eating. Great selection on the cafeteria line, was looking for a veggie plate, but the fried fish looked yummy, so I went for it, also carrot souffle and broccoli and cheese. The fish was good and warm, the broccoli cheese was excellent, and the carrot souffle - that stuff is just awesome! It looked kinda like a chunky sweet potato casserole, but taste was marvelous. $7.49 for the meal, and $2.09 for the iced tea (that's kinda high for tea). I would have gone 4.5 stars, but that's not a choice, so 4 stars is the rating today. I'm adding it to favorites, and will go back. read more

Do not go to this location on the evening shift. Food was ok as usual, but the service was bad. I received my food in a split to-go container and when I brought it to their action all they did was place it on another torn to-go container. I got pinto beans and by then the fried fish I got was covered in the beens. Both of the servers seemed as they didn't want to be at work and when I brought it to the cashier attention (fyi: no manager was in sight) she didn't get the manager either. Therefore, I left there with my sides on my dessert box, the fish and bread was on the drink to-go box and my dessert in the bread bag. Piccadilly has recently become a favorite when I want a down home meal, well at least as close to down home as I can get. Although this isn't my regular location and it's in a somewhat questionable area (off Old National blvd), I must say it was a good choice. I was pleased with the upkeep of the restaurant. It was well maintained and clean. I encountered hospitable servers and cashiers. The food was hot and tasty. All smiles and a thumbs up from me. The only complaint I have, has nothing to do with the restaurant itself. Just the fact that the baked chicken portion was huge. Like half a chicken huge which ultimately messed with my efforts to be fit and healthy. It was well seasoned and everything but I just couldn't bring myself to eat all of it. I really do believe that chicken went through hormone therapy. It was such a sad sight. Especially with the holidays on the horizon. My mind and that poor chicken have me eating vegetarian for the next couple of weeks. I was so looking forward to Turkey and dressing. Any who, Piccadilly Cafeteria is still a favorite and so far the location doesn't matter either. They consistently serve good meals. The place is clean and quaint! Full of mostly seniors but an nice atmosphere! The servers a very warm and friendly. I eat here because its a healthier choice (when I skip the carrot soufflé...uuumm delic). The older gentleman, the manager and his staff will go out of the way to help a customer (I am on crutches and he has staff bring my food to the car! People dont care how much you know until they know how much you care. I normally enjoy my visits to this location. Unfortunately this latest experience left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). Upon entering, there was only one person in line which was a good thing because we thought there would be no wait...wrong. First there were no servers and we had to wait for someone to come out. Once a server came out, another person who I believe is a manager because I have seen him before when he would come out to check the food and see how everything is going. He actually came to where we were and spoke. When the server asked for my order, I told him what I wanted and it was chicken. When I named the pieces I wanted the server said "I thought you wanted white pieces"..because I asked for a short thigh which is a dark piece, The manager overheard me and joked about it saying where was I from and we jokes back and forth which was fine. However, he made a comment that surprised me and not in a good way. He said, "I know your mama is rolling over in her grave". Just so happens my mother was standing next to me and heard him and she said, "No she isn't because I am right here. We were shocked and he was pretty speecheless after that and made some silly remark. I was offended and it has been bothering me and I wish I would have said something. I just wonder why he would make a comment like that to someone he doesn't even know. Just don't know if I will go back. read more
