Don't do it! It's sustenance - that's the nicest thing I can say about it. We tried Asian Chao because Gate D had the worst, unhealthy and overpriced food options. It was dinner time 6:30pm so we did not have much of a choice. Asian Chao is a pre-made buffet option spooned out by the staff. It did not look fresh and the meat looked dry and tough. But I was not in the mood for our other options of deep fried chicken chain food so I ordered beef with broccoli and fried rice for around $13. The meat was as bad as it looked - there wasn't much so I was able to eat around it. The broccoli was fairly good and not soggy or overcooked. The sesame chicken was also pretty bad and only half eaten. The only good thing I can say is that you won't get sick. read more

The chicken I received was basically all breading and sauce with barely any actual meat inside. It was really disappointing, especially considering how much you expect to get for what you're paying. When I brought it up and asked for a refund, the employee was extremely rude and dismissive. She tried to justify it by giving me a "sample," but of course she picked out one piece that actually had chicken in it--which just proved my point even more that the rest of my order didn't. Instead of listening or trying to make things right, she acted like I was the problem. The customer service was honestly just as bad as the food. I was in between flights. I needed to get a bite to eat. So, I came here to get rice and veggies. The Asian lady was so kind, polite, and beautiful. She had on her make up so nice and appealing. I complimented her and she complimented me right back. I went to my terminal to wait for my next flight. I ate every bite! It was very delicious. All of the restaurants in Concourse B that were open had long lines, except for this one. That should have been a warning. I ordered the avocado toast with egg and 2 sausages. You would have thought they had to pick the avocado and wait for the hen to lay an egg with how long I had to wait after paying! Almost 20 mins!!! And the food wasn't great at all! In Terminal A is this. To be honest there's not much better in this terminal. It's not cheap. Though it tastes cheap so it's a ripoff. I had the Mixed Vegetables because that was the only vegetarian choice. It's about $9 for some mediocre broccoli, carrots, and onions. The sauce is disgusting and salty. It doesn't even comes with rice, which you have to pay extra to get. There's not much else there. Small portions. Tastes old and like they haven't put in any seasoning. Bring food to the airport. There was a woman dishing out the food and she literally gave me one scoop of rice for a combo plate I ordered. She had the audacity to get an attitude when I asked for just rice because I don't eat meat. She gave me a heavy sigh, rolled her eyes and said in a very aggressive tone "Do you want me?" I just said to the bobblehead "I DON'T EAT ME." She was the worst person to have to encounter. No. Sometimes after a long flight, you will take the first thing you can find, no matter how good or bad it may be. But people really SHOULD check yelp for the restaurants at the airport because it will save you money and a lot of pain. Before boarding my flight home I needed to eat something so I looked around at restaurants in my terminal. I only had a very limited amount of time so I couldn't wait long or go to another terminal. I stopped at a Popeyes who's food while not the best for you is freshly made. The Popeyes line was crazy long because of the whole chicken sandwich thing that's been all over the news so I didn't have time to get food there. Across from Popeyes is this Chinese food restaurant. I thought okay, I can deal with some mall type Chinese food. I was the only person in line and when I ordered the woman behind the counter rolled her eyes at me and then slopped my food in the container like she was feeding a sow. If I didn't know better you would have thought we knew each other and she had a personal grudge against me, that's how bad it was! She didn't even attempt to mix the buffet style plates and threw a huge piece of rice that was from the corner of the container into my box. The rice was hard as a rock. The food was really bad. The chicken seemed to be old and refried multiple times. I picked out the veggies and ate some of the rice and threw it away. When I got home I got the worst case of food poisoning ever. It made me sick as a dog. You are better off taking thirteen $1 bills and throwing them in the toilet one by one that eating at this place! She then said that the person serving the food didn't know what he was doing and that it was just too bad, not even offering a price adjustment. I went to the one in Terminal B. Growing up on Chinese food, this is more of a Panda Express. I was prepared to hate it but it was this or the soul food takeout right next to it or Wendy's. I took a chance, and as I stood in a fairly slow moving line thanks to us one guy doing all the scooping and the lady boss manning the cashier, I looked at the most unappetizing looking Americanized Chinese food. I had a fun chat with the lady behind me who was a former restaurant health inspector. We both agreed that both the guy server and the lady at the cashier should both be wearing hair nets. The guy had his mask pulled slightly down his nose. Just trying to be honest, and under all normal circumstances, I would have run a mile. But I knew that if I didn't get any food, I wasn't getting any dinner that night because my next flight would get me into our destination at 11pm. I got the three item combo - lo mein, Thai spicy chicken and the wings. The wings were not good...dry. While the lo mein looked dry, it was actually probably the best lo mein I've had from those fast food Chinese places. I had the Thai spicy chicken over the noodles which was a great taste, albeit a bit too spicy. I liked it so much that I kept the leftovers...another unusual move for me because i hate leftovers. One and done is my usual philosophy on food. Because of the lines and lack of restaurant options, the food was pretty fresh vs. sitting under the heating lamps for a while. While I was in that long line, I saw them replenish the food a couple of times. Am I expecting this to be the same next time I come through...probably not but worth another try. read more

Ordered spicy tofu with only 7 pieces of tofu inside and the rest are bellpepper, they should instead advertise it as spicy bellpepper with tofu on the side... Either I got tricked by the employee that needs to be fired, or they really stingy with the food. Look at the size of the plate compared to the receipt and the chopsticks. The food is presented cafeteria style so you can see your desired dish right before your eyes! I decided to go healthy and ordered the broccoli and beef sans rice or noodles. I was being very good! The food was very hot and smelled very good. The taste was good and the broccoli and carrots were cooked to perfection. The beef was a slightly different story. While it had a very tasty flavor, it was too tough to consume. I was only able to eat a couple pieces, but thank goodness that was all I needed since there was lots of broccoli and carrots. And the worst part is that there were little pieces of carrots and egg in essentially white rice doused in soy sauce. I tried to order the teriyaki chicken but the grill had just closed. So, I had to settle on the general Tso's chicken. At least that's what they called it. It was just some partially fried chicken (maybe) drenched in a brown semi-sweet sauce.
