Very quick service and friendly staff. The coffee tastes great as well, I always look forward to this time of year with the fall flavors.

As of current days this has become my go to for my medium chai tea with extra foam with a slice of frosted ginger bread on the side YUMMY. This location has been remodeled to accommodate a larger crowd. Clean and modern. Customer service above board for a chain coffee shop. Don't order the Bestie unless you like the medicine ball from Starbucks. It's not what I expected

I haven't really have the time to write a review for this peets in particular I never tend to write anything about fast food or fast service places but I definitely have to give this place some credit for all the hard work they do i am not sure how long this Man Kevin is been here but he is absolutely amazing every single time I have been here it's always an amazing atmosphere so cool and calm and under control no matter how busy it is thank you so much management to have People like kevin working here!!!

First time coming here at this location, good crowd nice service.

Just signed up morning for their app and I wasn't able to get my points. I was told maybe it haven't updated yet. Had hot breakfast sandwich and iced mocha all good. Location is on the corner so far it felt safe. Ambiance is good mixture of customers Definitely coming back.

Original Date of Review: August 27, 2024 ***copy/pasted from my deactivated profile I order from this location a couple of times a week for breakfast or lunch via DoorDash. Today, when my order arrived, I was disgustingly, surprised to find a bug at the bottom of my Tropical Iced Green Tea. I reached out to the store and told Dominique, the rude woman who I assume is a manager of some sort, about what happened, and to say that she lacked empathy for a customer's negative experience wouldn't even begin to describe the experience. As the conversation tensed, she immediately removed accountability from herself saying, "I didn't make the drink," and proceeded to tell me, "Ma'am, I don't need you to tell me what . . ." after I tried to suggest that her team needed training on cleanliness and attentiveness. Customer service has gone to hell. There was no empathy, no accountability, no genuine apology, and no appeasement for sending me a gnat/fly bathing in my tea. Needless to say, I'll NEVER frequent this location again because not only is the store dirty, the manager is not open to retraining her team. I called the District Manager, Lisa. No answer. Then she called me back and hung up immediately. Since I can't talk to someone with sense, maybe CDPH will convince them that they need to retrain their team.

Coffee's & Frappe's never disappoint bc it isn't watered down or extremely loaded with syrups or creams. Today's Caramel Frappe was stellar, you could taste the coffee brew & caramel drizzle, a match made in Heaven. In addition to the Frappe, I ordered the Holiday Spice Coffee before this holiday drink disappears. The ginger, cloves, nutmeg had me mesmerized bc it was so fragrant. The espresso adds that extra dose of caffeine that I always need late in the afternoon, so I was definitely a satisfied customer. As far as being attentive & patient, the cashier had these 2 qualities. I wouldn't hesitate to bring friends to this location.

Can we PLEASE stop with the paper straws?

Can we please stop with the paper straws? I was able to drink my coffee for 5 mins before the draw ripped in half. If you really want to save on plastic, put my iced coffee in a paper cup. . . Using a plastic cup with a paper straw doesn't do any good when I only get 5 mins to chug my coffee before the straw is completely unusable. Or switch to a different straw manufacturer, I have seen straws made from bamboo, there are eco-friendly plastic straws. There are also lids to plastic cups that allow you to sip the coffee without a straw. I want to add that the staff here is all great, everyone is on top of their game. The coffee actually tastes good too. . . when you are able to drink it.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

Parking is a little weird and very limited but luckily for us, we found a spot on the side of the building. There were two young ladies working the store and the menu is basically posted everywhere. My daughter and I immediately gravitated to the banana matcha latte. We also saw they had yummy croissant pastries available, so we decided to give that a try. What we got: 1. 2 banana matcha lattes- 4/10 the matcha was okay but we tasted no banana to it besides the slices of banana. The pudding tasted like regular vanilla. Overall just not what we were anticipating. 2. Brown sugar boba milk? - 0/10 This was just milk with a bit of brown sugar syrup. (See pic) I actually dropped this off to my other daughter and she said she just couldn't drink it. 3. Strawberry croissant- 8/10 This was actually good. The strawberries with the jam and whipped cream were very good. Don't get me wrong, service was fine. They also had a few great items but the actual drinks were mid. I think the matcha needs to change or maybe making it more paste like could help boost the flavor. The brown sugar latte was just not it.

It's also a fantastic spot to meet up or chat with a group of friends. It was definitely a nice place for a date! When we walked in, there were hardly any available seats, but the line at the counter wasn't long. We found a quiet corner to sit and enjoyed our breakfast. I ordered a hot latte with maple syrup in the name, though I can't recall the exact name. It paired nicely with my pastry.
