This location is conveniently located right before you enter into Oakland airport so it makes it a perfect pit stop before or after picking up or dropping someone off. The dessert and delicious and nice variety of coffee or specialty drinks like the passion fruit mango refresher I got. I could drink a gallon of that easily haha. The pistachio cheesecake was delightful. Its definitely a nice place to get a sweet treat or different espresso or coffee drink. Try them out. Im sure you will be happy you did. They have many locations in the area.

    Sana'ani Coffee and Croissant

Was dropping my partner off for her exam at a testing center nearby and needed a place to work, so I came here. It's a nicely decorated, clean Yemeni cafe with an extensive menu of drinks and pastries. Ordered a Sana'ani black coffee and Pistachio Croissant. The young man who was helping me was polite and made sure to inform which pastries had dairy, which was helpful. There is plenty of work space and charging available at every indoor seat which is nice. The coffee was good and the croissant was delicious with pistachio spread and nuts on both the top and inside, with rose sprinkled on top. The only thing was the Wifi network and password wasn't listed on any visible place and I had to ask the employee for the network name, but that wasn't a huge inconvenience. The location is near the Oakland airport so I'd recommend coming here if you want a place to work/snack before your flight or if you're looking for Yemeni/Middle Eastern coffee in the Alameda area. Otherwise however is a little out of the way as it's nearby a gas station in an industrial area. I'll try to come by here again if I'm in the neighborhood!

Knafeh cheesecake, strawberry milkcake, and pistachio milkcake.

I like to look for new spins on lattes to see what barista's are whipping up to make things unique. I came in thinking I was going to get a basic latte, but the Borgia Mocha caught my eye! I asked the cashier if it was a good choice and she recommended it. I was a little unsure how the two would blend and how much orange they would use in it, but it came out amazing! Honestly probably one of the top 10 unique mocha's I have tried and it was delicious! I loved the burst of refreshing orange that complimented the chocolate. The flavors danced on my tastebuds like two separate flavors that blended together as one. Each holding their own note that added value to the drink making it unique. I was instantly impressed and wish I found this on more menus! A classic mocha with a refreshing twist of orange was a pleasant surprise! I'm so glad I stopped in for a pick me up! I also loved all the art on the large walls and there looked to be plenty of tables and seating for people to eat and work at.

=== Incredible coffee and food. Great vibes ===…read more First, awesome experience. Second, I hate that I keep finding these experiences an HOUR away from where I live. Was meeting up with a friend from Berkeley and he found this spot in between the both of us. Pros and cons! + The coffee - holy shit. Got a cortado. And drank it without sugar it was so good. A touch of bitter (it's coffee - duh!) but so smooth, almost nutty but buttery at the same time. + Got a chicken salad sandwich. It came stacked HIGH with hints of sweetness and curry. Freshest produce. Honestly, I was hungry but could only eat half of it, it was so big. + Friend got a warmed cinnamon bun. Incredible. Yeasty, chewy almost crisp on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside. + Wide open space inside -- high ceilings, one big central area. Not tucked away spaces -- which might or might not match your preference. + Perfect amount of coffeehouse buzz. Music playing lowish in the background and lots of conversations. Just enough to quell my ADHD tendencies. * Honestly can't think of any negatives. Prices are a bit high but happy to pay it for such a quality experience. I think my cortado was decently priced -- maybe $6 or so? Sandwich was $18 or so but done really well and came with a bowl of soup (chips, fruit, and something else was an option instead of soup, but tomato bisque with a sandwich? Divine.) - An hour away from where I live but if you live anywhere East Bay, my curse is your blessing ;-)

I absolutely LOVE the original mochi muffin. The mochi texture is my favorite because of how bouncy and chewy it is. Prices are $$$ for their pastries and coffee but I do like how it's in Alameda. I would like to note the baristas are nice and they know the regulars which I can tell because they did not greet me at all. You can def see how they greet the regulars versus the other customers as I was waiting for my drink. When I walked in - Not even a hello, or I'll get to you soon. I stood there just waiting and I can obviously tell they're busy so that's why I am waiting - but it would have been nice to be greeted. The two baristas had time to make random small talk as I waited and nobody greeted me still. When she was ready to take my order it felt a bit awkward because still not really a greeting. I'll def come back for the muffins but if I have to stand around awkwardly then I'm going to leave next time lol

This shop is tucked into a side street in the very industrial section of Mandela Parkway, and you'd miss it if you didn't know where to look. It's in a store front on the side of Pacific Pipe climbing gym. If your lost, just follow the trail of gym rats heading for a pre- or post-climb buzz. The shop has a small but super carefully curated menu that spotlights Mexican grown estate coffee, a lot of not most being single-origin. You will probably find a roast to your taste as well as some really creative concoction, hot or cold. I went with the nitro cold brew which was perfect for an 83°F afternoon. The space inside is clean and welcoming with lots of seating. There are also sunny tables outside as well as shady seating in the breezeway in front of the rock gym. While I didn't grab anything to eat, there are some pastries and empanadas on the menu. I did grab a bag of beans to take home. Service is friendly and efficient. Definitely adding Proyecto Diaz Coffee as a stop on future transits through West Oakland.

I found myself here after yet another underwhelming stop at Cafe Verde -- which people recommend to me constantly. And every time I go, I leave confused. It's rarely full. The pricing is steep. And the attitude sometimes feels like, "There will always be another customer." So I walked a few minutes down the street and ended up at Endless Coffee. Different universe. I've had their coffee. I've had their specialty drinks. I've had their matcha multiple times now -- and it's $6. Six. In Corte Madera. Meanwhile, the $10 matcha down the street isn't even in the same league in terms of quality or balance. That price-to-quality ratio alone should have a line out the door. The space is small -- about five tables inside, four outside -- but it works. There are always a few parking spots nearby. It feels local in a real way, not a curated way. I see familiar baristas when I go in, but I also notice new team members. It feels like a business that's growing, adjusting, trying to get better. They have a rewards program. They're clearly refining their systems. And most importantly, the service never feels complacent. No one acts like they're doing you a favor by taking your order. You're acknowledged. You're treated like your business matters. That difference is subtle -- but it's everything. I genuinely do not understand how this place isn't consistently packed while others with higher prices and less warmth are. If you care about quality, value, and being treated like an actual guest, this is the spot in Corte Madera. Skip the hype. Walk a few extra steps. Order the matcha.
