They have Phin Vietnamese coffee here so I swung by. Note they can NOT adjust the sweetness level in their fruit teas and everything had syrup. Hard pass for me. Wish it was adjustable. Got their Vietnamese coffee and I asked for no sugar and it was not made to order. It's pre-made. Sugary...... But, the service here was great.
Convenient tea, boba, coffee, mochi donut shop located in the Marina Village Shopping Center. Plenty of mall parking for you to run-in, order, wait, and take-away to the convenience of your car. Better yet if you like Pink as you can sit there in the splendor of Pinkness slurping on you drink and munching on a mochi donut. If you have a kid, let them run around in their socks in the little play area while you relax. We went there on a Tuesday where there is a $1 mochi donut special with the purchase of a drink. Wife and I each had a drink and a mochi donut (Strawberry for me and Salted Caramel for the wife). As for drinks, I love strong Viet Coffees and went with the Salted Cream Coffee while the pretty one went with a Mango Matcha Latte. My coffee needed to be a lot stronger while the wife was happy with her tarty latte. Mochi donuts were good with a nice chew. Overall, I'll try a different drink next time while you can't beat a $1 dollar Tuesday mochi donut special.

Ordered from doordash so this review is strictly for the drinks. I ordered the mangos and cream, mango sago, and the kumquat sugar cane. The mango sago was creamy and delicious I wish it came in a larger sizes. I'll definitely order this one again. The mangos and cream was good to it was refreshing and creamy. The kumquat sugarcane tasted creamy as well not sure if thats how its supposed to taste it was alright in my opinion. I got my order within 40-45 mins within ordering and the ice wasn't melted at all and everything was still good. So ill definitely come in person next time to try their other menu items!
Did a mommy and daughter play date with my girlfriend at Tomo Tea House and we had the best time!! I ordered the Assam black milk tea at 50% sweetness with lite brown sugar boba. To be honest, I came in with low expectations (due to the reviews being hit or miss) but I was pleasantly surprised with my drink. I enjoyed the tea flavor and appreciated that the drink was not overly milky. Also, the boba had a good chewy consistency to it too. I got to try my friend's mochi donut and mochi corn dog and both were pretty good too. The play area, which is no extra charge, was the best for our 2 year old and 3 year old daughters. You just have to sign a waiver before allowing them to enter. Socks are required. They have a ball pit, climbing structures, slide, and bouncy animals. Our girls were able to independently play and have so much fun running around together. We hung out for around two hours! However, my daughter ended up getting sick and got mommy and daddy sick too :( I had a great experience, but we had to pay the price afterwards, so be mindful with your little ones!
Came by here with a couple of co-workers today as we waited for Mintleaf to open up at 11:30 am. There was plenty of seating available (both inside and out) and the lot has a ton of parking spots. There wasn't a line and I got my drink very quickly! They also had some good deals, including getting a mochi doughnut for just $1 with a purchase of a drink on Tuesdays (how lucky of me to end up here on a Tuesday!). The decor is beautiful! So many places to take pictures. I was looking for a hot drink, but it really is a boba spot, so I went with the classic jasmine milk tea with boba, very light ice, and 25% sugar. Also grabbed a strawberry funnel cake mochi doughnut for my co-workers. The mochi doughnut was very good and the milk tea was standard. Next time I'll pick something a little extra to figure out HOW good the drinks really are! I have high hopes :)

I'm not a matcha connoisseur, I just started getting into it recently. I like a matcha that's thick, creamy, and has a strong earthy taste and tomo tea house delivered. I got the strawberry Matcha and it was delicious. At first it wasn't that sweet, but the more you mix the drink together it becomes sweeter. If you are someone who likes a very sweet drink, you might want to ask them to make it extra sweet for you. They also have Vietnamese coffee and mochi donuts which I didn't get to try, but I'll be back to try it the ambience is also very kid friendly, they have a soft play area so it's great if you have a little ones. The place is also various aesthetically pleasing.
===TL;DR=== - Egg coffee - Roasted oolong milk tea - Dubai croffle ===TMI=== Hmmmm, two word: very pink. Although I'm not a fan of pink, this will be a pink persons heaven. Pink walls, chairs, floral photo walls and a swing chair?? Literally for all the props for a photoshoot, a very girly and pink one. Talk about convenience.. make your order on one of the 3 touch screens on the wall. Waited for some time for our order but it's ok because you get distracted by all the decors. In terms of my order, both the egg coffee and the milk tea were really sweet. I think it was one of the sweetest egg coffee I've had. It'll be best if the coffee taste was stronger. I think the drinks were average, just a cute instagram friendly place. Dessert wise, the Dubai croffle was good. I thought it would be warmer so it gets flakier. It was a bit hard to cut through since it wasn't warm enough. Also super sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is for you. As I was enjoying my snack, I noticed many kids were in the indoor playground area. I think this would be a great place for playdates where the kids can have a blast and the parents can get their caffeine or sweets fix. Win win. P.S. some chairs are on the wobbly end so be careful when you sit on those pink chairs.
Tomo used to be Bober and the interior is basically the same since it was Bober. This place is an introverts dream, I placed my order through the kiosk and because it was a Tuesday I was able to add a mochi donut to my each one of my drink orders. I ordered a strawberries & cream smoothie with a strawberry donut, strawberry matcha latte with a churro donut, mango sago with a churro donut, mochi corn dog with half dog and half cheese, and the Dubai chocolate croffle. My total came out to be $45.74. And a note, if you select email receipt, you'll have to click your order number for it to show you the itemized list! For someone who has never had Dubai chocolate, I loved the croffle. I didn't want something super heavy and for $10 I thought it was worth it. The mango sago didn't have any flavor at all. I actually loved the mochi corn dog, its a different texture compared to a Korean hot dog. Mochi donuts were good, I always love that their not too sweet, very light. I wish I had a picture of all 3 drinks but I thought it was funny and strange that they came in all 3 different sizes and cups.
I ordered online and everything was ready within 10 minutes - very efficient. I got 3 drinks and the dubai chocolate strawberries. The drinks were decent - the coconut sugarcane mostly tasted like coconut water though. Was hoping for more of the sugarcane taste. The dubai chocolate seemed old though. The kanafeh was soggy... and I've made it at home before and left it on the counter overnight and it was still crispy. So this one must've been DAYS old, or they didn't toast it properly? On tuesdays you can get $1 mochidonuts, so I also picked up 2 of those. Overall it was an okay experience.
WHEN: Sun @2pm Decided to come here instead of any other cafe to work in because I decided to meet up with my sis and her lil ones and they have a play area for them. I've been here before when it was under new management, so I sort of had an idea on what to expect, and the kids loved it, and we enjoyed the drinks. Seems to be about the same, with maybe less wall decor and more dessert options. There's still mochi, but sadly no more of the Pandan Mung Bean drink I really loved. That's okay. It was quite busy but I came early enough to snag a table otherwise this place is packed with mom's and their kids going on play dates. It was already a rainy day so I can see how a place like this would be busy. You can order 2 ways: at their kiosk through a digital device near the entrance or at the counter with a breathing human staff member. Here's what my sister I ordered: HONEYDEW MILK TEA - $7.35 Fragrant floral notes of jasmine milk tea infused with light and refreshing honeydew melon. 50% sweetness is plenty and this was a nice sweet drink. PANDAN CLOUD - $6.80 Refreshing organic coconut water topped with a creamy housemade pandan cloud foam. Totally did not look like the menu photo but that's okay. I"m just concerned at how green it is haha especially compared to the honeydew milk tea. All in all I really like it here. Even if there's no seating inside, there are a few outside. The location allows there to be plenty of free parking, and there is WiFi. So I can't complain about the prices when my niblings have a play area for them at no additional price.

After miles of cycling, TOMO Tea House was the perfect place to cool down. This hidden gem in Alameda offers much more than just boba--they also serve authentic Vietnamese phin-drip coffee and specialty coffee creations. The Mango Sago was absolutely amazing (soooo good!), and the Taro Shake with jellies was delicious. Service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I loved the relaxing ambiance, family-friendly atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating, and the play area for kids. Plenty of parking too, conveniently located next to Lucky Supermarket. Highly recommend whether you're craving boba, dessert, or a great Vietnamese coffee after a long ride. Cheers! read more

An absolutely adorable place for families with children or anyone seeking a sugar rush. A M B I A N C E They have a play pen area in pink and white to match the decor theme of the establishment which is super cute! Not many places are welcoming to children so I love that this place offers that. S E R V I C E There are a couple ordering screen stations near the entrance so you can take your time browsing the menu to order. The drinks and snacks were served quickly too. The staff do not greet you when you enter though. I made eye contact with them and smiled while they were all laughing about something on the floor behind the counter and they didn't smile back which killed the vibe. D R I N K S I got a pistacho jasmine milk tea. The pistachio foam was soooo good but the jasmine milk tea tasted way too artificial. Thankfully mixing in the pistachio foam low key saved the drink but I just couldn't finish it. My coworker comes here often so he likes it, maybe he has low expectations or maybe I'm too picky. I like real jasmine milk tea, not the powdered flavoring. For the pricing of $7 I would expect the real thing... S N A C K S My coworker ordered the malasadas, one of each flavor available (sesame seed, Ube, and I don't remember the 3rd flavor). I tried the mystery 3rd flavor and was unimpressed. It was too chewy and way too sweet custard center. I ended up giving it away to another coworker unbeknownst to the coworker I went with so as not to offend. read more

Went to try this place and ordered a banana matcha. This drink has no matcha taste. It was very watery and disappointing. Even the banana did not taste like banana. I thought they would make it on the spot but it seems like the matcha was premade and the worker just poured it in. Even the color of the drink doesn't look good. Overall very disappointing and I can't beleive I paid for it. Ended up going to another place for matcha right after.. read more

Super cute boba tea and snack shop in Alameda. There is a pretty ample kids' play area (as depicted in the photo), and the decorations are very pink-y and cute. They mostly sell boba and sweet snacks (think waffles, mochi donuts, etc.). I ordered a Honey Jasmine Tea with boba, and my friend ordered some mochi donuts and a Milk Tea. My drink order was half sweet and less ice. There was no milk in mine, and I could generally taste the tea. However, I would have preferred the honey flavor to be a little stronger and for the boba itself to have more flavor. My friend's tea was actually very good, and I would consider going back for Milk Tea based drinks. Out of the donuts we had, I enjoyed the churro donut the most - a light sprinkle of cinnamon sugar was the perfect way to highlight the fried dough. Overall, not a bad place to enjoy a casual afternoon/late morning snack! read more

Offerings (drinks): classics, specialties, Phin coffee, Fresh fruit tea, coconut cloud foam, matcha, matcha, espresso. Food: croffles, mochi donuts/waffles. Bites: Tuesday's special: mochi donut (1) with purchase of drink. -mochi donut fresh & nice chewiness. Churro flavoring just "dust". Not exciting. Tried ordering on kiosk which didn't register mochi donut for $1. Protocol is to order Drink lst, then donut. Remedy problem at counter. Sipes: Mango Cloud (6.8) less ice. -no mango fruit used, haziness of mango hints at purée. Not cool for a premium drink. -coconut water didn't seem adequate for a premium drink. Purée + water = bland sweetness. * a China boba company makes fresh coconut juice in a cloud drink for $1 more. read more
First time visiting and I can't believe I haven't been here before. Great place for boba tea and mochi donuts. Good seating area and play area for the little kids. Instagram worthy areas too. I got the jasmine milk tea. Wonderful to taste the jasmine and 50% was good enough. I need to come back and try the others. The mochi donuts were good too. Right consistency of topping to donut. This place has hot to be a secret as I would imagine more people would come here if they knew about it. read more
They have a playground inside the shop! This is one of those very picturesque, Instagram-story worthy boba pics, and they're actually delicious! I ordered the Strawberry Matcha drink and I finished it so fast. It was sweet, tasty, and I can't wait to get another one. Saw this place on TikTok and really wanted to try the viral Dubai chocolate strawberries without dealing with crazy wait times or crowds. Tomo is a nice little tea shop with drinks and treats like mochi donuts and croffles. As far as the strawberries go, it was okay. Very heavy on the Nutella and like three xl strawberries cut in half. Which there were a few more considering the price. I believe this item is available for a limited time. read more
Got no sugar with black milk tea and the boba was sweet so it all balanced out. My order was online and was ready by the tine I got there. Great place to just sit and chat, indoor and outdoor seating. Kiosk to order. Not much staff present as they're in kitchen so you kind of have to wait for someone or just call for someone. read more
I'm a bit confused about the high ratings here to be honest. Our drinks were overly sweet, despite ordering less sweet, and we couldn't even taste the tea so the tea quality is unclear for this price. With so many tea options, I wouldn't return here. It's decorated very nicely so it's Instagram worthy but the seats are stained and appeared dirty - I honestly didn't know where I should sit. There is a kids play area for children 10 and under. They have 3 self order systems that were in working order and was efficient. Service was fine, there was no interaction except when she handed us our drink. Drinks were made fairly quickly as it was not busy. read more
Went here after the electrify expo on Saturday around 4pm. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot. When we went inside I was "wow" by how much pink decor there was. The play area looked like those cat play areas, which was cute. I wanted to come to this place mainly for their mochi donuts. I was disappointed that there was only like 4 flavors when in other pictures, there is a lot more flavors. From what it looked like there was only 2 people working and they seemed tired out. Their attitude wasn't outgoing, so this is why they got one less star. The drinks were delicious though. read more
This review is for my most recent visit. Everything went well as usual. Just wanted to give out a PSA that during my last visit, Dubai Chocolate Strawberries are no longer $15 but $18 and there was a size difference. You would expect the cup to be bigger if the price goes up but the cup was actually smaller? Not entirely sure but just something my bf and I noticed. Absolutely loved my strawberry matcha! Can never go wrong with it and it never fails me. My bf got the mango green tea and it's become his go-to. I tried his as well and the taste is pretty unique except the mango bits in the drink didn't taste ripe enough, but he didn't have any problem with it. Service and ambiance were still welcoming despite us coming near closing time so appreciated that bc there'll be places that judge you for being those type of customers and trust me, I do hate being one of those customers but sometimes it can't be helped yk. read more

Quality/Quantity - Drinks were good. Actually my daughter said this might be her new favorite tea place on the island! We also got 2 mochi donuts which I can skip in the future. Matcha Oreo and Lemon flavored. The lemon was the better one of the two. I barely could taste the matcha. In summary, come for the tea. Atmosphere - Small local business. Cool decor, a kids play area.Too bad my daughter did not take any pics. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Okay. They supported/followed store policy of no cash unless it is exact change. And did not let my daughter get away with 20 cents. This is good and bad. Price - $20.20. NO cash, cards only. Well except if you have exact change. My daughter was short twenty cents... Luckily the customer behind her gave her twenty cents. Thank you to the customer behind her. My daughter gave her the two hole punch card. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success (Tomo) since September of 2024 and your previous success (or not) with Bober since April of 2023. read more

Ambience and decor is SUPER cute, I completely understand coming here just to enjoy the vibe and take cute photos. I got the Dubai chocolate strawberry and it was my first time trying that but I really liked it! A bit overpriced though, so I probably wouldn't get it again. I also got a boba milk tea which was decent, but the boba texture could be better. Overall a pretty good place, but not one that I'll be craving to go back to. read more
