Looking for a boba spot closest to where I was at! And realized I've been here before when walking towards the door!! I got an oolong tea with Boba! I had to leave a review! Boba was soo good and chewy! A couple seating outside. Order on kiosk. Cute little spot. I'll remember this spot for next time! I recommend it!

Practically you have to wait for the person in front of you finish their order before you get it. it might fit max 4 to 5 people. There are plenty option from the menu. You can choose sweet option. The drink is pretty good. The price is reasonable.
I was at the bank a few blocks away when I decided I needed a boba recharge after I was done. Located on Franklin St, this small little shop is easily missed and best spotted by The Lunch Box cafe right next door. The interior is really small, but you can place your order via the self-service kiosk or with the barista at the counter. Opted for my tried-and-true Passion Fruit Green Tea w/ boba and was not disappointed. The juice was fresh and nicely tinged with a few slices of lemon. And the boba amount was generous and of a nice, chewy consistency. The have a few chairs outside if you wish to dine there, but seating is really limited. Metered parking is available on Franklin St.

I ordered the mango pomelo sago and it was really good - definitely worth the wait. I opted to get 50% sugar and it was still quite sweet, but I have a sweet tooth so it was perfect for me.
I've been visiting this boba shop regularly to pick up drinks for my wife. It's one of her favorites, and over time one of mine as well. The quality keep us coming back. I'll be sure to capture better photos next time to do the presentation justice. Since I started coming here, the menu has undergone a few changes. Some longtime favorites have been retired ( I still miss the banana milk tea) but they've introduced new specials that continue to impress. On this visit, I tried the Cocoa Volcano Brown Sugar Boba, White Peach Oolong Tea Latte, and the Durian Coffee Latte. The Cocoa Volcano is one of our staples. The White Peach Oolong, topped with fresh cream was a standout, but not in the right cup for my preference. The Durian Coffee Latte was unique. There were a good amount of durian chunks that I ended up blending, and added a bit more coffee to suit my taste, and the result was great. Our usual picks also include the Matcha and Coffee Volcano, as well as the Lychee, Passion Fruit Tea, and Hazelnut Milk Tea. All consistently well-executed with fresh flavors and high-quality ingredients

They had a good amount of options ranging from specialty teas to sago drinks / blended items. I got the Osmanthus Oolong Tea with cheese foam and boba. The tea flavor was strong and the cheese foam was creamy with a hint of saltiness from the cheese, but it didn't overpower the tea flavor at all. May you say I was ~ obsessed ~ with my drink. The boba itself also had a nice sweet flavor and was a bit chewy. Still remained on the softer side as I drank it. I'd love to come back and try more of their drinks! I had such a pleasant experience. I can see why there's a lot of people going here to get drinks.

I will say the tapioca pearls were perfectly chewy. Was bummed that the drink I wanted, the Cocoa one, wasn't available. Cute little shop though w/ a couple of chargers available if needed along with some seating against both walls. They made the most of the small space and I'd come back again to try the other boba!
Great place to grab a boba after ice skating at the ice center, which is walking distance away. They're strictly a grab n go place-Not a lot of seating. With the fruit drinks, you get a choice of slush or smoothie-We chose lychee slush and strawberry slush, both fresh and delish. Also got the brown sugar volcano with boba, also excellent. It was prepared very quickly (wasn't too busy on Sat afternoon.)

There are two small tables outside for seating. The shop is fairly small and can only fit a few people at a time inside. The boba itself was cooked well and I appreciated how much they put in the cup. The flavor of the tea was on the more mild side and more difficult to taste, but I appreciated the alternative milk options that they offered.
A small hole in the wall shop along the street. The inside can comfortably fit about 4 people at most, so it's a little awkward when they're busy. Ordered the black milk tea which was of decent quality and they filled half the cup with boba? I'm not mad at it lol. Nothing extremely stellar but I appreciate that the boba was warm and chewy at the cost of all the ice melting.

Yokee is one of my favorite boba shops in Oakland. My top 2 fav drinks are Grapefruit Green Tea and the Puff Cream Milk Tea. The Grapefruit Green Tea is very refreshing. Perfect for hot days. Lately, I've been getting the Puff Cream Milk Tea with boba and 50% sugar. It's creamy with an aromatic tea flavor and perfect sweetness. I love the chewiness of the boba. I love the quality of their current cups! It's simple and cute. I see a lot of people ordering the mango flavored drinks. Those look delicious and refreshing. Will try those next time! 10/10! read more

Supper small spot I wish they had a sitting area they only have chairs outside sadly. They have a machine to order from, it's quick and easy. All the drinks I got were delicious I went on a whim getting the mango one but it was DELICIOUS, I'm on a diet really shouldn't of gotten it but I will be thinking about how delicious it was all week. read more
This to go spot for boba in downtown and convenient. I haven't tried other drinks here because they do the mango sago so well, but this is a pretty busy spot and people walk out with all kinds of drinks. They have a stamp card too! Yokee's my fave boba spot in Oaktown, and I love how tiny and economical their lil closet-size shop is. Great for grab n go, takeout, and walk in and out boba if you're in a pinch. Their online menu doesn't seem to have the full menu, so if you're willing to risk the wait (which usually every time I go the wait isn't even bad...only like ~5mins max) I'd suggest ordering in person. There's little aesthetic or shop appeal, but the boba drinks are high quality and they have great toppings like QQ drinkable mochi and always-QQ boba. Boba cup sizes are on the longer side, and you truly feel like your Bay Area priced boba is worth it. There's limited parking, but I've always managed to snag street parking right in front, otherwise most other people walk here. Service is fast and kind. Their boba making station is obscured in the back, so you can't see them do their magic. Their menu always intrigues me with their variety of drinks to soothe every boba drinker's wildest desires, from durian to cheese foam. very small hole in the space, with a simple menu and aesthetics. saw the reviews and was excited to try! I ordered the mango pomelo sago 75% sweetness (cost $8~ which I think is pretty standard). 75% sweetness felt more like 50% but it ended up still being great because I like things less sweet and the sweetness from the mango could really stand out. There were actually mango chunks and puree. the agar boba it comes with too is also very yummy not all the pearls are standardized circle shapes so sometimes ill get a weird lumpy shapes and it's fun to chew. It felt and tastes light compared to some other agar boba I've had where it seems syrupy. I give 3 stars because I was sadden to find no sago or pomelo in my drink. I don't know if they blended the pomelo in with the drink but I definitely expected sago balls at the bottom. Usually when I order a similar drink at other places it has pomelo pulp and sago, I think they could've just forgotten to add the sago but besides that it was pretty yummy. Just really disappointed since it was not like advertised. I def think I will give another chance the durian sago drink really caught my eye and I wanna try the boba pearls. read more
A small boba shop located in Oakland near Lake Merrit. You order at a kiosk and wait outside for your drink. I ordered the mochi soy milk tea and my partner ordered the thai tea. I love soy milk so this beverage was right up my alley! The tea wasn't too strong so it didn't over power the soy foam that was on top of the milk tea. The chewy mochi was delicious when dipped into the soy foam. I loved how nutty this drink was and would definitely get it again! read more

I first tried their oolong milk tea, which was pretty underwhelming because the tea taste wasn't too strong. But I tried their jasmine green milk tea another time and I really liked it!! The tea taste is fragrant and their boba is nice and soft. Gotta do street parking which kind of sucks, but I usually order ahead and pick it up so it's a pretty quick stop here. It's a pretty small shop and has a couple chairs outside to sit. The workers are also really accommodating if you want to adjust your drink!! Would come again if I'm ever in Oakland :) read more

I've been here twice and both times i have been completely satisfied! I really enjoy how I can actually taste the tea in the milk tea. I always order my boba with 75% sugar, other boba shops still make it too sweet, but the 75% here was actually nice! The mochi that came with our drinks were really soft and delicious to eat with the cream :)) 10/10 on the drinks ! read more
Been meaning to try Yokee and finally had a chance to do so recently! I came to grab a quick boba Sunday evening right before they close at 6. It's a small takeout storefront with two small tables for seating outdoors. They have a decent selection of milk teas, fruit teas, and cheese mousse teas, along with something called a volcano, which I think is brown sugar milk? You can order online by scanning their QR code or on the ordering machine. I ordered two drinks, both from their top 10: mango pomelo sago with 50% sugar ($7.25) and puff cream milk tea with 50% sugar ($5.35). Both drinks were really good! The mango pomelo sago was super mango-y and the mango chunks tasted very fresh. I'm not sure what puff cream is, but the milk tea had the perfect tea flavor and tasted quite creamy. This was some of the best boba I've had in a while! I will be back. read more
Perfect for a warm day after riding around the lake, the kiddos ordered the puff cream milk tea and I ordered a lemon green tea, all with boba. I liked how you could adjust the ice and sweetness of each drink. I found my drink (the lemon green tea) a bit underwhelming, and not as refreshing as I thought it would be. The boys enjoyed their puff cream milk tea, but it was a bit too sweet (100%) for them to finish it. We'll adjust the level of sweetness next time for sure. This is a small spot with no room for seating inside, and just a few outdoor spots available. You could self order on their kiosk which sped things up as well. We were randomly in the area for some youth athletic tournament games with some spare time to kill. Of course, my first search was for a boba spot. And this place came up first with an astounding 4.5 star average rating and over 400 reviews. Upon driving up to the Yokee store front, it was a bit underwhelming as this is as much of a hole-in-a-wall boba place I've ever come to! Surely the reviews couldn't be wrong. So trusting my fellow Yelpers, we took the brave step to proceed and park a little down the street. I wouldn't recommend necessarily coming here at night, as there is not much around and I'm unsure of the safety in the area. When we arrived, there were two other customers standing inside the very very very(!!!) small wait area - probably more than 4 ft x 4 ft of occupiable space. To the left upon entering is a self ordering kiosk and to the right of the door is the unmanned cashier. Ordering at the kiosk is straightforward and not long after submitting my order I got my drink within probably 3 minutes. I ordered my usual Roasted Oolong Milk Tea and with Agar Boba. The taste was average, maybe a bit watered down. Not bad, and not memorable. Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant visit and met the mark for something unknown. read more

So good!!! We got a fruit tea and a mochi soy latte adjusted to the perfect sweetness level. The mochi latte was milky and the mochi was packaged in a pretty little wooden skewer served with the tea. A perfect combo. And they have the red floral classic pattern on some of their cups! I'm obsessed with their tasty offerings and the red floral cups!! We were chatting with some of the other customers while we were waiting. Really nice customers that also seemed super happy with their respective drinks. Small little shop that you do not want to miss!! You won't regret it! read more
When I bit into the mochi, I was STUNNED by how soft and delicious it was. Never had I had any mochi desert that resembled this softness. The mochi soy milk tea has a pleasant tea taste to it, you can tell it was brewed and not powder. The parking can be tough since it's in downtown. Nut allergy friendly, did not even ask or make a note. I had a friend bring me an Oolong Milk Tea with 25% sugar, 50% ice, with boba. The boba texture was a bit stiff, but the oolong tea flavor was perfect and delicious. I'd come back again. read more
Yokee is one of my favorite tea places in Oakland! There's so much variety and whether it's milk tea, fruit tea, cheesy tea, sagos... it's always delicious and on point! They only have one size and use non-dairy creamer or offer non-dairy milk options. The store is not big so you'd only be able to sit outside or take the tea to go. I personally love they added a self-service kiosk so you can just order your drinks that way or order online. Street parking doesn't seem to be an issue most times when visiting the store. The rose milk tea I had today was so floral and great tea flavor with only 25% sweetness and 25% ice and grass jelly was nice and soft/easy to drink. Highly recommend you stop here for your next bubble tea fix! read more
