Super nice staff helped us pick a non caffeinated drink with less sugar and boba on the side for my 7 year old. The mango crème was hit. Sweet enough without any added sugar and the boba is also sweet. Nice clean spot with food options we will have to try another time.
The popcorn chicken here is SOOOO GOOD. Perfect texture and the chicken is moist and juicyyyyy. Love the fried basil too. If only these had a sauce, this would be perfect. They also don't skimp on the portion :-) Ordered the Grape Potion too, and this drink could have been really good if it wasn't SOOOO SWEET. I got this 50% and it was crazy sugary. I did like the tea and jello in it though!
My son has OT a couple doors down, and this is our go to boba spot now. We are here every almost every week. Simple menu. Kiosk for easy and quick ordering. And they typically have drinks out quick. Snacks are pretty good. They come out a bit later. Staff always friendly. And we typically are able to grab a table inside or outside, if we wanted to relax a bit before heading back to our car. My go to drink is the Mango Coco or Mango Creme. My son usually gets a Taro when we go out for boba at other places. But, he doesn't like the Fresh Ube here, so he gets the Strawberry Potion or Strawberry Shake. The bentos are pretty good. We got the boys boxes for lunch once. Very good portions. I love getting an order of Sesame Balls. Most snacks come out piping hot!
Love the drink offerings here! The people at the register are always very helpful and will answer any questions you have. I've enjoyed a lot of their drinks in the past like the Grape Elixir, Mango Creme, and Lychee Shake. The drinks are very refreshing and flavorful, and the texture of the boba is just right. The drink come out pretty fast too. There are a few tables inside and outside the store, and I haven't had much of a problem with street parking.

Love the tofu cause it's soft tofu and the batter is my faaav. But could be more seasoned. But def want to try more of their fruit teas!
I had a craving for popcorn chicken, so I decided to give this place another try. I visited once when they first opened and did not love what I ordered at the time, mostly because of personal preference, but today's visit changed my impression. Parking is still not ideal since it is all metered and the Grand Lake area is usually busy. Inside, the space is bright, lively, and generally clean. I also appreciate that the menu includes photos, which makes choosing much easier. I ordered the jasmine green tea with sweet creme and really enjoyed it. The tea flavor is on the stronger side, but the creme balances it out nicely. I also ordered the spicy popcorn chicken, and it was fresh, well‑seasoned, and extra crispy just like I requested. No need for extra seasoning at all. Service was solid, and overall this visit was much better than my first. I would definitely stop by again if I am in the area and craving a snack.
one of my favorite boba places!! i LOVE their mango coco! it's not super sweet and it comes with little jelly which makes the drink taste soooo good. their popcorn chicken is also really tasty. perfect crispness and flavor. service - i always order online and pickup is always easy ambiance - super cute small shop. parking is always hard to find though
It was quick and efficient, you order on kiosks. There was a good amount of people ordering. Big group in front of us but I still got my drink in a timely manner. As for the mango creme smoothie, it was delicious! Felt like their menu was a bit small compared to other places but many good options. The creme mixed with the smoothie made the overall drink perfectly creamy and fruity. I got less sweet and I was satisfied.
"Damn that's good" was the first thing I said as soon as I took a sip of the mango coco drink - immediately hooked!! I didn't expect to really fall in love with Suptea lab as I came across this boba spot near my spot looking to fill a late night popcorn craving. The popcorn chicken was, to my surprise one of the best I've tried in Oakland It's seasoned with salt and pepper which is exactly the type of popcorn chicken I look for! Definitely has been a spot I've been revisiting constantly.
Their milk tea with the tea blend was good. I tried the jasmine later on and thought that one had the best flavor. A bit more floral, but not too strong. The boba itself could be better. I think it was a bit mushier for my liking. The workers were patient and helpful. Nice interior. The Excited to come back and try different teas!
Been wanting to try Suptea since they're the newest boba kid in the Grand block. They really don't have much competition. The closest boba spots are either Downtown or in Piedmont! Came by to get some bento fried chicken thighs for a quick dinner. They nearly forgot my order, so I had to wait an extra 15 mins, but it's ok. They have lots of seating inside so you can dine in or enjoy some convo with your friends in their shop. They also allowed me to bring my dog in while I waited. The bento is pretty filling. I liked the flavors of the chicken thighs, kind of reminds me of katsu but not as crispy. A little heavy on the sauces which made it a little too salty. But I liked that there were like two steamed broccoli and perfectly cooked white rice. Their ube drink looked pretty good and caffeine-free, it was alright though. Flavor tasted powdered and their honey boba is more translucent and lighter in texture than real tapioca pearls. I liked that they played Cantonese music overhead. Their menu is super easy to read too. Would def like to try their tea drinks, and if you're in a pinch for some affordable bento takeout come to Suptea.

So sad...no more coconut noodles :((( Used to go to this place for the Coco Mango drink and now they don't have coconut noodles anymore. The topping changed to coconut jelly instead. Won't be making the trip out here anymore since the real coconut noodles were the only thing that kept us coming back :( read more

I ordered the Suptealab milk tea expecting some kind of classic house milk tea. What I got looked and tasted just like milk. I asked a worker to clarify that they hadn't forgotten to put in the tea and she told me if I wanted it stronger, I should have ordered light ice. I showed her the drink and explained that I did in fact order light ice. She still insists that there's tea in it, it's just VERY light tea. took it home to my boyfriend and asked him to try it without hinting at anything and he immediately said "this just tastes like milk" The worker said to try a different milk tea next time, but there won't be a next time. I'm definitely not going back. If you are planning on coming here, definitely get something else. read more

Suptea Lab opened where Brite Cleaners once was. Decor basically a posted menu & pics of drinks. Order at counter or at kiosk next to wall. Bites/sips came about 10 minutes later. Just a few tables inside... Offerings: fruity/milky drinks, (themes of fruit, coconut, mango), food menu: snacks Sips: matcha latte (6) no sugar, less ice -shook it a few times re instructions. Ceremonial latte bland as no sugar added. Tasted powdery. -had subtle velvet feel. Overall better than others. Bites: popcorn chicken (7.99) mala spicy -small tender morsels thigh meat crunchy on outside, moist inside. -evenly coated with yum mala kick, flava enhanced with prescence of basil leaves. --may be "the best popcorn chicken in town"/bay area. Generous serving, reasonable price. 4ish stars. Artificial lighting decreased quality of food photo... the food section is worth exploring. The drinks maybe not. Grape Potion: 0% additional sweet, regular ice. Delish, refreshing, the kyoho grape juice and "grape" jelly add plenty of sweetness so it's actually quite sweet without added sweetness. really hit the spot after an afternoon full of errands and me running out of juice. funny thing is i shared a sip with someone who had never had kyoho and she didn't think it was grape but some other exotic fruit. A and I have eaten fresh kyoho many times before and thought it tasted just like. shared the salt and pepper tofu, light spice - thin, perfectly crispy coating, super hot and so so soft inside. Be careful of the first bites because it comes freshly fried. appreciate that they use real fruit and make drinks to order so we can specify sweetness and ice levels. wish they had reusable (not disposable) cups for in-store use. we only interacted with staff at counter but the guy was nice. and the restroom was clean and well stocked (pet peeve: anyplace that serves drinks, especially tea/coffee, and doesn't have a restroom!) read more
Nice new addition to the Lake Merritt/ Lakeshore area! I love how their menu displays how your drink will be presented as well as if it's caffeinated/ dairy free / etc. I love how the menu has unique selections, and not overwhelmed with many drinks like other boba spots ! A lot of the drinks were on the sweeter side, so 50-75% was perfect for the fruity drinks, if you want to bring out the tea flavor more or the fresh fruits! My favorite was the overly peachy with crystal boba and the coco fresh ube with coconut noodle! I will have to come back to try out more of their menu items as well as their hot food selections! read more

Suptea Lab Mango Osmanthus Freshly Passion Service was a little slow, but drinks were on point! Half sweetness & ice on the Mango Osmanthus & Freshly Passion (w/Osmanthus Jelly) were just right. Tea is nice & refreshing & fruits were fresh! The passion fruit seeds were nice & tart, but not overly so. Jelly wasn't processed tasting and added good texture. Will be back! read more
Hit or miss in my experience. I've had amazing tea flavor and experience, and other times very lackluster. Even with less ice and less sweet it was still packed with half a cup of ice and too sweet for me, which is too bad since the tea flavor was good/strong last time. The snacks are quite pricy, I'll have to try them next time. There is some seating in here, so you can hangout to eat and have your tea. Service is fine, drinks don't take long to come out. read more

The drinks were good! We ordered the suptea lab tea, and also the grape potion. Both were really good. I preferred the suptea over the grape potion! Just because the suptea lab had a citrus flavor to it, it also had bits of passion fruits as well. For the grape tea, it came with grape jelly. This drink tasted nostalgic, it tasted similar to grape juice, which I had as a kid before. Overall, it was pretty good! The customer service was so nice as well. Definitely a welcoming vibe and helped us with recommendations. Additionally, nice space area to chat, probably around 6 tables for two people each. It was pretty busy when we came, luckily we found seats. Additionally the restroom was clean! :-) read more

First time trying the mango coco drink, the coco pieces are amazing. Totally yummy. I went for the passion fruit tea for the cold rainy day and also very good, yummy jelly and I added boba. Quick service and nice workers as always. read more

Been here multiple times now, boba is pretty high quality and such a treat to end our day of thrifting and walking around the Grand Lake area. The menu of specialty drinks is small, which is a good sign! I've had the Mango Coco, Coco Fresh Ube, and the Overly Peach. I love that they use real fruit, and the flavors are really spot on. The Coco Fresh Ube was also delicious, not too heavy or sweet. Really refreshing. Mango Coco is their most popular, although the Coconut jelly noodles are kind of a lot in terms of chewing and filling up your belly. Service is super fast and nice. We also ordered the spicy fried tofu. Good price, and pretty tasty. Would recommend. Also, note about the "coconut milk" drinks , I think they still use dairy (regular milk). I've finally been able to take some photos. lol. Since opening, I've been to SupTea Lab about 5 or so times, and I've enjoyed my drinks and/or popcorn chicken every time. So far, my favorite drinks include the Strawberry Potion and Jasmine Milk Tea, both with boba. I really like the boba texture here. It is a little on the softer side. I know some folks may like slightly firmer boba. An honorable mention is the ube milk tea drink, which has tasty morsels of ube. Service so far has been good. People have been friendly and my drink/s has come out relatively quickly, within 5 mins. Popcorn chicken usually comes out after a little while longer. I will note that the last time I went and ordered chicken, I asked for medium spicy, but it wasn't really spicy at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ however, it was still tasty. Nothing a little hot sauce can't fix. read more
Have been here twice, the first time was during the opening BOGO weekend and came again this week. I've tried their Thai milk tea and Ube drink and my sisters tried their mango and passion fruit drinks as well. We've liked everything we've tried so far. We also got their popcorn chicken and curly fries which were also very tasty. Friendly service, good drinks and food, nice boba shop in this location. Will definitely be back when we are craving boba and a snack! read more

10/10 highly recommend this spot! Their tea is freshly brewed and not premade which makes the flavors of the drinks so much better. We've been to bbt spots that taste powdery but this place uses real tea leaves blends and fresh fruits! The food is well made and seasoned really well. All the food items are deliciously made and so well priced. We found ourselves a new go-to spot in Oakland! Not to mention, the staff provides great service! read more
