I love this place! Can't really go wrong with any of the flavor wings. I think my favorite is garlic Parmesan and the Louisiana rub. The spot is split up into a wing restaurant, coffee shop and bar/lounge. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely recommend coming here if you want if you need a wings fix!! read more

HORRIBLE! Ordered door dash and they gave me the wrong order entirely!! They slapped together whatever was left and put it in a bag. The fries look old and moldy and everything is wrong. Everything came super cold and looks like someone's left overs. I will be contacting management because this is disgusting. 0/5 stars. read more

Fire Wings - Moldy old fries - Chicken Wings Near Me - Oakland, California

I need to go to the shop and eat these fresh not delivery. We all know wing prices are sky high. That said I felt these were great wings. Extra crispy was awesome. WARNING. They are not the giant mutant chicken wings other places are selling. And I for one am so glad. The chicken has a good texture. Sauces/flavors are great. Best wings I've had in Oakland. I wil add photos when I go get them fresh. Mango Habanero was the best flavor we have tried so far read more

Service improved this time around but the flavors have gone away. The curry dry rub was salty without flavor and nuance balance and the mac and cheese was bland. The beyond tenders combo is pricey and not acceptable if the flavor is no longer there. read more

Wings are good. They have a deal with 6 wings and rice or noodles. Stay away from that because the rice is crunchy hard like super under cooked and the noodles are hard like they're over cooked. Also haven't tried anything else I just stick to the wings. Also they having a sign up saying restroom for customer only and don't even got a bathroom is crazy. The bathroom belongs to the coffee shop next door. It's all sharing one space they just don't allow us to go over there unless the shop is open. Just take the sign down because you guys do not have a bathroom read more

Naturally, hearing about Wing Wednesdays and their fifty cent deal here, I couldn't resist. As a lover of salt and pepper shrimp, I decided to order the salt and pepper wings. My gut told me I wouldn't be disappointed, so I took a leap of faith. Those salt and pepper wings were it! My friend and I ordered wings for pick up and expected it to be busy because of the deal, but nope! Our order was ready in under a half hour. I got extra sauces during pick up and I'm a fan of their honey mustard. These wings were good on their own though. Rating: 10/10 The wings were lightly crisp and crunchy - not fried hard. Perfect texture for fried wings. The flavor matched that of salt & pepper, just as I expected. The jalapeños inside of the box added a nice touch. I do like a lil spice. read more

Ordered via doordash for lunch, so didn't experience the service or ambiance. Most of the flavors were good. The garlic parm was ok. Could smell the garlic but not really taste it. Lemon pepper was good, but the other wings kinda muted its flavor. Could taste more lemony. Saigon was pretty good. Thai was good. Calirub tastes like bbq chip seasoning if you're into that--i liked it. Not pictured was the coleslaw (could be better) and the garlic noodles (was not a fan of at all). read more

I ordered for Super Bowl Sunday and was so very pleased with all the flavors ordered. I loved how crispy, tasty, finger licking good these wings were. I got the 20 piece - lemon pepper, salt and pepper and garlic Parmesan. All three were so very delicious with lots left over. I really LOVED the BBQ sauce. I was sad I did not just get all three BBQ sauce choices. Looking so very forward to trying other flavors and now have this place bookmarked!!! Thank you for darn good chicken wings!!!! Will be back soon. read more

This cant be real. I have small hands. This reminds me of that viral picture from years ago. Honestly embarrassing. Paid 40 bucks for the 20 piece btw. Please don't go here. read more

Wings were delicious, service is fast and curtious. Salt n pepper Wings, dragon Wings, Jamacian jerk, peanut butter, are all

Hella good. The inside is kinda weird cause there's no proper sitting area but if you're taking the wings to go . In my opinion it's expensive but worth it. I got the large garlic noodles, 10 piece wings, 5 garlic parm and 5 lemon pepper. It was so crispy and juicy. 10s across the board for wings tbh. Wingstop ain't got nuthin on them read more

Completely not edible. I paid extra for flats, still got drums. The wings were dry, and boneless burnt. The only redeemable thing I received is the fountain drink. cashier could care less when I returned this, so I figure this is the norm for them since she was not surprised in the slightest. Long story short, $26 for cafeteria quality wings is crazy. The garlic fries were swimming in oil. Just nasty. Hard pass. read more

Y'all that Nashville Chicken Sandwich had me feelin' like I saw god. Ordered delivery, but even after the delivery time and bein slathered in coleslaw and sauce, that chicken was still SO CRISPY on the outside, juicy on the inside. The coleslaw was the perfect creamy, but not too mayonnaise-y. It's spicy y'all watch out. The fries were underwhelming but who cares when you've got that sandwich! read more

Wings are cooked perfectly crispy! I normally order the BBQ wings and garlic noodles to go. Friendly staff, good wings. Check it out if you're in the area! read more

Love this place. Their wings are so good. Fried just right. I must say after getting the lemon pepper today it was good. Flavor and seasoning in point but just a bit saltier today than I remember. Ok let me break this down if you make fried chicken with sauce I expect it to be at least not dry. Came here yesterday and ordered 3 10 piece combos some without sauce and some with sauce. All of them were dry. Well flavored but dry. The other issue I had was the salt and pepper wings were too salty with not enough pepper. The lemons pepper wings had too much lemon and were not well balanced. Fries ended up being decently cooked but did not taste the greatest like it was friend in old oil maybe not to sure. Garlic noodles were also very dry to the point I couldn't eat them without a drink. Staff however were very friendly and well accommodating. The area outside can be sketch as it's next to the lake but inside was clean, organized, and smelled like the food which isa great expectancy. I won't post any pictures because I want to give this location a second chance to improve but we will see! read more

I gave this place a try, because it said " soft opening." It Was very overprice, paid $30+ for this and a small fries. The worst part was that the wings were too salty, and I barely can eat most of them. The fries were just ok, nothing special. Suck that I had to throw most of it away. Place is spacious, clean and a parking lot right in front. Wait time wasn't too long. Staff gave some flavor suggestions. read more

Meh. Quality has gone down since opening. We used to come almost once a week. The garlic noodles were on point. We would order bone in salt and pepper, saigon, bbq, and buffalo. Over the years I've noticed the garlic noodle portion sizes get smaller and be less flavorful. I had a craving today and decided to get the boneless in dragon and korean bbq flavors. I think it sucks that veggie sticks no longer come standard with every order. In your order, veggie sticks are now a side, equivalent to getting fries. If you choose fries you cannot get veggie sticks. If you ask for them, you'd pay extra. The garlic noodles were cut in short strands and dry. The korean bbq flavor tasted like too ketchupy. The dragon wings didn't look like the pictures at all and tasted too salty. Hope things get better or maybe we will just stick with ordering buffalo wings and fries. read more

I'm glad I waited for this review.. the food tasted better the following day.. I had plenty of garlic noodles to take for lunch the next day and they tasted way better. On day one I would have given them a 2 or 3 out of 5 but the following day they were a 5 out of 5. The flavor was more potent the the oil probably was absorbed into the noodles.. on day one they tasted like olive oil noodles .. days 2 actual garlic noodles Jerck chicken boneless-- a very strong dry rub didnt taste very jerk like and was a ittle salty Salt & pepper - tasted like wings from a Chinese restaurant but the peppers and onions served on the side were fire Even though this order wasn't the best id likely go back and try other flavors read more

Fire Wings is my favorite place to get chicken wings but this is my first time coming to this location. Atmosphere: Very welcoming. Clean. Many Tv screens for watching sports. There is a bar and there are several bar tables and chairs. Perfect place to eat wings and watch sports! Service: Friendly staff. They took my order pretty quickly. There wasn't a line when I went at 6pm. They did take awhile to make the order. If you are ordering take-out like I did, I recommend ordering online for pick up. Food: They have so many flavors of wings on the menu! I have yet to try all of them. Not only do they serve wings, they also have tenders, salads, and sandwiches. They also have soda and beer for beverages. I ordered a 10pc bone-in wings. They allow you to choose 2 flavors and 1 dip for this item. I selected Thai Chili, and Salt and Pepper and ranch dip. When I brought them home, the wings were still warm. The meat was tender inside and the skin was still super crispy. The thai chili had the right amount of sauce which gave it a great taste. The seasoning on the salt and pepper wings was on point. I loved it! I dipped the salt and pepper wing in ranch and it was amazing!! Price: I think it's a bit pricey but they are delicious. Parking: There is a parking lot right outside. 10/10 recommend coming here! The wings are delicious when fresh but they are still good when you get them for take-out. Next time I come back, I am going to try the peanut butter flavor cause that one sounds interesting xD read more

I love Fire Wings! I'm so happy that there's an even closer location to me, less than 5 minutes away! I've been coming here since their soft opening. Located near the lake, right next to Lucky's, Pho King, and Tasty Bowl with their own parking lot. I usually order online and they always say it's about a 20-30 minute wait but they always finish my food before my estimated pickup time. When picking up your order, you must show your ID and the card you used to pay for the order (just to prevent fraud). I just learned today that if you pay with Apple Pay, you just click the card you used, then the 3 dots and it should show the "device account number" which is the number shown on the receipt! Today I ordered the 20 piece family meal which includes 3 flavors and 1 large side. I got the lemon pepper, garlic parm, and thai chili with some garlic fries (which is an additional $1.50) for $28.99 and another side of large garlic noodles for $6.19. Usually this location is pretty consistent with their food quality. I saw a sign that they are short on staff and I don't know if that's the reason why everything was kind of lacking flavor today or maybe today was just a bad day. Everything was just more plain and bland than usual. Some pros were that the chicken and fries were still fresh, hot, and crispy and the garlic noodles were still a hit. I'll definitely be coming though. My family and I usually love their garlic fries and noodles. read more

I came here for the first time a couple weeks ago and I've been back again the next week! I love me some wings and garlic noodles so finding out this place was so close to where I work was like striking gold! The thai flavored wings are soooo good! The garlic parm is done right! My people i went with said their food was fire!!! The ambiance was cool (when we went us there wasn't many people there but you can tell it could get poppin on the right day and time, plenty of space!) the music they were bumpin was dope, we were singing along to some old school jams! I appreciate that. The people working there are hella cool and helpful. So thumbs up for fire wings in Oakland! I'll be seeing you soon! read more

Please do yourself a favor and try the peanut butter wings. I was really iffy about it at first, but I'm glad that I decided to try it... This was a decent wing spot. I felt it was comparable to wing stop but with tasty garlic noodles. The "seasoned" fries were awful though. Their food is really good to-go, I get my tenders from here all the time. The only reason I'm writing a review today is because I'd wish someone had adjusted my expectations overall. This is the third time (in a row) that I've *paid* for extra wet tenders and gotten...not that. It's a bummer bc obviously the extra is to account what I'd prefer in the first place but paying for it and getting less than what even seems reasonable sucks. All in all though, like I said - it's good enough to keep going back. They're quick & it reheats really well. read more

Food: 8/10 Service: 6/10 Wait time: 10 minutes even though we ordered early for a later pick up time Portion size: medium Value: 7/10 First time here at the soft open Fire wings! For service I gave a 6/10 because they gave us the wrong order at pick up. We went back and then they gave us the right order and verified our name. But I wish they had done that the first time around!! We also had to wait extra time even though we had order 1 hr before. Maybe since it's a soft open they don't have enough staff yet? But anyways the wings were good! We ordered 40 pieces of chicken. We got boneless habanero and Buffalo and bone in dragon and Thai Chili. The bone in two were by far my favorite! The dragon had a similar taste the Thai Chili for me but with a kick of spicy flavor and the end. I felt like the bone in one's better better be ause it had that crispy texture to it while the boneless were more soggy feeling. Also habanero is super spicy but if you dip it in the ranch sauce it tasted similar to the Buffalo in spice levels. I would definitely like to come back and try their chicken sandwiches. When I went they were not available yet but I might check out the other locations! I also like how for every 10 pieces of our 40 order we could choose a new flavor and bone in or boneless. Very good option so we coild try more flavors! read more

They offer a variety of wing flavors. The food is pretty good and affordable. Would recommend trying this place out

Wow! My first review of the year and we're starting off strong with Fire Wings. Not only is the taste of their food amazing but the variety they serve here is sure to satisfy every single taste bud. The service is pretty reasonable as it doesn't take too long to get your food. It's also a pretty clean place to be. Take a look at their menu and give a few things a try! Just stopped by for some snack, and picked their 10 pieces combo wings. It came w a fried, and a drink. I got a seasoned fried, which was good. 5 mango habanero, it showed lvl 2 spicy, but it was more on the mild spice, and sweet side. 5 fire wing which were lvl3 spicy and their spiciest choice, but it was about medium spicy, and the flavor was like them tangy buffalo wing. All of the drinks that they have were just sweet soda, yuck. The wings here were okay, but I think I prefer the local Korean restaurant's spicy chicken, they have more complex flavor, and salt content than just spice. I chose to eat inside, but the place have a moldy smell by the window seat, and the table was rather sticky. read more
