I love when I can rely heavily on a Yelp post to guide me to a place of authenticity. I was hungry and wanted place with something that offered a drink. I immediately logged into Yelp to discover this Cantina. It had a variety of options for me to choose from and a beautiful drink. It was an instant yes for me. The moment I entered I was greeted by a very kind server. He even commented on my green sweatsuit. The experience itself was amazing. The location is perfect on a beautiful day and the setting was just what I needed for a nice early afternoon bite. I would rate this place and food a 10/10. Definitely will be back again!

Lively vibes combined with freshness Different twist to their nachos with fresh and creamy cheeses in top that compliment with protein of choice. We had the beef and it was sweet, savory, and tender. The street tacos were equally good. Great portion size. Will definitely return.

This is such a cute little quick service spot in Oakland. It was a little confusing at first as the lady at the front told us we could sit wherever but didn't mention we needed to go up and order at the register so we sat for a bit before realizing that. I got the Xingones nachos and 2 tacos. The food was delicious! The mango passion fruit agua fresca was also really tasty! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

We don't live in Oakland, but we go to a lot of shows at the Fox, and every time we're in the city we go to Xingones! We've been going here since their old location that they shared with a bar, and we are so happy for them that they have expanded to a new location! The tacos and wings are our go to, I love the pollo tacos, nachos and burritos. There is a spicy sauce for the wings that is delicious. The service is friendly and the place is lively. They love sports here and have all the games on the TVs. They also make a great cocktail and michelada. We like to sit at the bar and chat with the bartender, we have always felt very welcomed here, great spot!

First time and the food was great. Ordered 2 piece chicken and waffle. The 2 pieces of chicken can be random or your choice and made to order pieces, takes a 15 mins. The chicken (wings) were juicy and the fry was light and crispy. Comes with two waffles, they were a little doughy for me but they were good overall. Hot sauce and syrup were brought to the table. The vibe was great, full bar and family friendly, I would bring my young kids (2 and 5) here. Or even come here for a date night.

I got the California Burrito with Carnitas and everything in it. It was a very well-packed burrito. Nicely sealed tortilla and wrapped in aluminum foil. I didn't have to rip apart layers and layers of aluminum foil since there was only one. The fries in the burrito are crinkle cut so there's an extra nice texture to it when you bite into it. The flavors were good but the sauce helps supplement it alot. It wasn't a very 'wet' burrito which I appreciated and the default does not come with rice which I also appreciated. The carnitas could have used a little more flavor but it was still nice and juicy. I couldn't help but finish the whole thing. Would come back to try other items!

Great atmosphere, food, and people. I had dinner here with my family and we enjoyed it. We had the chicken wings, California burrito, Street dog & fries, and street tacos. Prices are reasonable and food was good.

Great food, beautiful restaurant. Always good service, I've been here twice so far. Found them on yelp and the reviews were true this place is super good. I recommend the burritos, but I've also tried the chicken and waffles 10/10 Will be back to try the drinks Such a beautiful atmosphere

I've heard great things about the wings here at Xingones so I finally made some time to try it out for myself! Xingones offers fast casual dining and also has a bar. We opted for dine-in so we ordered at the front, took our number, and seated ourselves. Their decor is very vibrant yet feels cozy with how it's set up. There are some high top tables, couch seats, and normal tables. On the back wall, you'll see their logo, a great photo-op if you come with friends! This restaurant would be great for large gatherings as well. I'm not sure if they were understaffed when I was there, but it took a few minutes for someone to come take our order at the front. Once we ordered, we grabbed some water at the self-serve station and waited for about ten minutes. The food came out pretty quick! Our Xingones Nachos came out first, I was very excited to try the Picadillo on the nachos. It's one of my childhood favorites! The nachos were $14 and it came with a pretty decent serving, definitely enough for two people. It was topped with picadillo (stir fried ground beef and veggies), cotija cheese, sour cream, cilantro, onion, and had red salsa on the side. I'm not sure what kind of salsa it was, but it was pretty bland and rather oily. It did offer a nice contrast and character to the richness of the nachos which was nice. The nachos were plentiful, but rather than the toppings being layers between the chips, it was just smacked on top. So, once we got through the top layer of chips/topping we were left with a bunch of plain chips. The chips itself were very crispy and not too oily. For the wings, we got a Large (12 pieces) with two flavors (citrus hot and spicy Korean) which came with two ranch cups, carrots, and celery for $23. You could pay a few extra bucks for all flats or all drums but we like a nice variety. For me, the star of the wing platter was the ranch-- I really enjoyed how much dill they used in it! The wings were obviously fried, but were not crunchy at all and the meat was pretty dry and didn't have much flavor soaked into the meat itself even though the sauce was evenly coated. It also didn't feel like the wings were fried to order, but I could be wrong. Thankfully, the citrus hot sauce made the wings somewhat enjoyable. It was bright, flavorful, and seasoned well. The hot korean sauce was too one-note for me. The spice levels were both very mild, but that's okay! I am truly hoping it was just an off day for Xingones, as many of my friends have told me they come here just for the wings. Since it's down the road from me, I'll definitely come back to see what the rest of their menu has to offer.

Super cute place, would definitely come back. I would like to try other food items. We had just finished eating so we weren't hungry enough to order more. The espresso martini was mid... not bold enough in coffee flavor. The way it is set up is you order before you sit, the gentlemen helping was a bit rude. Not sure what we could've done to get response with a bit of attitude. My friends also felt that way. But that won't deter me from coming back bc i can tell the vibes would be great.

Quality has decreased the handful of times I have visited since it moved. Unfortunate! I have had tacos, fried chicken and today the CA burrito. Huge disappointment. The burrito was hella loose and wasn't even hot or warm to the touch. My cheese WAS NOT melted. I hate burritos that are not hot enough to melt shredded cheese and when it feels like contents are falling all over when you bite. Note to the owner: love you, love your restaurant and hope you work on the consistency!

They Moved to 4th Street a few months back the cashier said. Off the bat the food is really good and they haveBig portions too. I was skeptical about the spicy Korean and hella hot wings but they were really good! The Cesar salad was alright. I liked that it was a big portions for the price but I think it could've used more cheese and croutons. I was given the choice if I wanted to switch the shrimp out for chicken no extra charge. They weren't stiff on the chicken portion which was really well seasoned. Definitely coming back to try their chicken and waffles

So it's pretty obvious I love this place! I've even followed them over here to their 4th street location since they are no longer open over on Washington. No surprise there since the area is rapidly declining everyday bring more and more unhoused who seem to have drug issues. It's pretty sad to see because the area could be so great it has so much potential. So here we are again and I can't even lie they have the best fries! Crispy and delicious especially with the orange sauce! I could drink that stuff it's so good. Loving the new location too! Great space even more spacious, clean and just overall freshness! If you haven't already give this place a try! Especially on a game night where it's sure to be packed and all the TV's on!

I'd thought the place had lost its touch, but maybe it was just an off day. Today in May of 2026 I've managed to visit while it's a slow day, and I was pleasantly satisfied with my food. I ordered a Carnitas burrito, and it was just as delicious as I'd remembered it one decade ago. While I was eating the first half of my burrito I was thinking "this is good, but burritos are good.. is it better than other burritos I've had, and why?" Something is different about burritos at Tacos Sinaloa, the food reflects that of some regional tacos trucks scattered throughout the East bay, but they're very distinct in how well they're capable of doing this style of Mexican food. As I said earlier- burritos are good. I think they are good because everything tastes good together, but not all burritos are created equal. The first thing that stood out to me about my burrito was the tortilla. It's not your standard tortilla, and it's nothing extravagant, but it seemed intentional. The tortilla is softer, thinner, and it holds up, but it's not chewy. It's there and it soaks up the oils and it doesn't take away from anything. In my experience, a bad tortilla can make a burrito less enjoyable. This tortilla adds in that it's barely there and it's pleasant because it soaks up the flavors without detracting. On the insides, the beans and rice can give or take away depending on where you get your burrito from. At Tacos Sinaloa on this particular day, the beans and rice did not take away from the burrito. The pinto beans were plum and creamy, and tasted like pintos. No nonsense- they added because they didn't subtract, I could go on about grainy beans or starchy over seasoned bean liquid, but NONE OF THAT HERE. The rice had perfect texture. It almost like 'al dente', but not in a chewy way, it had just enough rice texture and didn't get in the way of the other ingredients. It was mildly seasoned with your classic Mexican rice (aromatic tomato broth like flavor). No nonsense, no unnecessary spices, not over saturated in liquid, or turned to mush. Just good simply season rice. Cheese and sour cream- Salty Mexican cheese, presumably Oaxaca or something similar. Adds little salty flavor explosions throughout the burrito. Sour cream, added tangy acidity that cuts through the fatty ness making it taste more lively. Of coarse, the lovely creaminess. If you're not having your burrito with these I'm very sorry for you. The star of the show- The Carnitas here is just done right. It's not over seasoned with anything, it just tastes like melty delicious braised pork shoulder, then fried to accentuate it with crispy mallard bits that surprise you throughout the burrito. Towards the end of my experience I came to the conclusion that what makes a Tacos Sinaloa burrito good is that its ingredients forward- each ingredient tastes good on its own, and that can't be said for all burritos. It's not a burrito for the sake of being a burrito. All the ingredients seem intentionally chosen so that none get in the way of one another. I want to say they make the meat the star of the show, but even if you were to have a bean and rice and cheese + sour crème burrito here it would be an exceptional burrito, which is a testament to their culinary philosophy. Last but not least- yes they have salsa, and of coarse it's good, and I love that they give lemon slices with your food - it's another small intentional detail that they offer lemon instead of lime. Carnitas burrito 5/5. Sinaloa overall 4/5 because of inconsistency.

The main reason I never went before was the parking situation, which honestly can be a little challenging, but for this visit we found parking down the block and around the corner. The short walk after dinner ended up being nice anyway. We had reservations, although we did wait about 15 extra minutes while another party finished their meal. My family member pointed out they were enjoying drinks, so that probably added some time. The waiter was very friendly, attentive, and clearly trying to get us seated as quickly as possible. Water was brought to the table right away, and our drink order was taken promptly. I ordered the chicken salad and was pleasantly surprised to learn the mango vinaigrette dressing did not contain oils, since I personally avoid seed oils. The salad was fresh and delicious. Some of my family members ordered the buffet, which looked incredible. At first it seemed like too much food for me that day, but once I saw everything included, I started thinking maybe I should have ordered it too since it was only about seven dollars more. They brought complimentary chips, guacamole, and salsa to the table, and everything was so flavorful. The guacamole was especially delicious, and they happily refilled the chips several times. I finally understood why the restaurant is called "Los Moles" because their mole sauces are outstanding. I got to try some from my son's plate, and it definitely made me want to come back and explore more of the different mole options. They also offer vegetarian choices, which is great. Although I am very particular about cooking surfaces, my food is cooked on and in, the Mexican coffee which was heated in some type of who knows what metal, had a good flavor. It inspired me to re-create it at home. Another standout for me was the freshly made corn tortillas served with the meals. They were soft, warm, and incredibly good. I also tried the beans, which were full of flavor. Overall, this restaurant really stood out in my memory, and I definitely want to return someday to try more moles.

On top of that, the advertised ingredients (sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole) were completely missing. What arrived was basically a dense tube of cheap rice and rubbery meat. At first I assumed this must have been a one-off disaster. Then I started reading the Yelp reviews. One reviewer even described an employee asking if they "wanted to fight." Another described disputing charges over incorrect orders because the food quality was so poor. What makes this especially disappointing is that the restaurant presents itself as a serious modern Bay Area Mexican concept tied to an admired culinary name. Instead, the actual execution feels careless, inconsistent, and deeply below the standards the restaurant markets itself on. Restaurants can survive a bad night. What they cannot survive is the perception that nobody cares anymore. Right now, that is exactly the impression Todos Cantina gives off. Frankly, this is an embarrassment to the legacy and reputation associated with the Martinez name. I truly hope someone steps in and turns this place around, because based on my experience (and many others here) things have gone badly off the rails.
