Cute little boba shop tucked away in Berkeley, in the Telegraph district, close to several popular food joints. Parking is super convenient with several reasonably priced garages and plenty of cheap street parking. This place has a small seating area with a few tables and pickup options available. Ordering is efficient through a kiosk and fulfilled quickly. We ordered a matcha yuzu tea, a strawberry pudding with boba, a taro tea and a signature black tea with boba. All were excellent. They allowed for customizing the ice and sugar levels for all drinks. My favorites were the matcha yuzu and the signature black tea. The matcha yuzu was light, extremely fresh and citrusy. The black tea was strong and very high quality. The strawberry one was on the sweeter side so opting for a lower sugar level is a good idea. The taro one had an overpowering taro flavor. All in all, highly recommend this for a post meal dessert if you're in the area!

The strawberry milk tea is so delicious! I ordered it with 80% sweetness and it was perfect. The mix of black tea with strawberry works really well!

A large, decorative sculpture of a tea cup, featuring a black body with gold lettering that reads 'TP TEA' and 'Taiwan Professional Tea.' The sculpture has a white, glossy top resembling whipped cream, with a straw and a chocolate ball on top. It is placed on a round, gray base inside an indoor setting, next to a wooden table and a black chair.

Haven't been to this TP Tea location in years! Used to come here weekly while I was in school. I'm glad to see that they are still doing well and in the same spot. When you enter, there are 3-4 different self order stations which is great because there was no wait/line! If you prefer ordering from a real person, it's a bit hard to get their attention but if you're lucky and can waive someone over they're happy to help. I ordered the Boba Fresh Milk Tornado with 50% sweetness for $6.25. I was really craving a matcha tornado but they only had the fresh milk and Thai tea tornados. Considering that it was only boba pearls, tornado (custard/cream), milk, and ice it was actually very good. Super refreshing, the custard went very well with the milk and perfectly cooked boba pearls. The pearls were bouncy and didn't stick to your teeth, they were also not over saturated in sugar either. I do have to say that the store itself was uncomfortably hot and humid. I'm not sure what was going on with the ventilation. They even had one of the front doors propped open and it felt like a completely different climate inside the store. Hopefully that gets fixed soon.

Sign outside the store - The image shows a signboard placed on a sidewalk in Berkeley, CA, advertising the 'Osmanthus Blossom' series of tea drinks. The sign features images of three beverages: a golden Osmanthus Aiyu Lemonade, a Four Season Osmanthus Ice Tea, and a Four Season Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea. The sign includes text in English and Chinese, with a decorative background of yellow flowers and a blue sky. The lower part of the image shows a person's foot in a sandal and part of their jeans, indicating the photo was taken outdoors.

Boba came from Taiwan and this place proves the reason for it - amazing boba and tea quality! The ordering system is awesome - order your drink via the iPad - so you can customize it and no one will mess up your order (amt of ice, sugar, type of boba and toppings etc). All the youngsters love this place - it gives them the pick me up energy they need to focus on their studies :) I tried the mango smoothie and that was super tasty! Some places the boba is too hard and the tea is stale and bitter - NOT HERE - they are aiming for perfection and have achieved it! Loved the vibe of the place - the quantify of boba was very satisfying

BOGO - Two women are taking a selfie inside a tea shop, standing close together and smiling at the camera. One woman is holding a large plastic cup filled with a layered iced tea beverage. The background features a menu board and interior lighting, with a wooden ceiling and tiled wall. The image captures a casual, indoor setting focused on the tea shop environment.

I used to work here as a student and I can vouch for them. Clean, fresh, and real tea. The price is reasonable for the quality of the pearls, milk tea and fresh ingredients. There is always a line so order ahead on Snackpass but otherwise also with the wait.

A solid boba spot with quick service. Boba is on the chewy and small side which I actually really enjoyed. Tea flavor is there but not the strongest. It wasn't the best boba I've ever had, but it got the job done & I'd return to try more of the menu.

Perfect to cool down in the heat. Tried a couple of flavors and all delightful. Not too busy but drinks took while to come out.

I ordered a Boba Fresh Milk Tornado today, but the drink I received was almost entirely filled with ice and contained very little milk tea. And there were no boba pearls in the drink at all. However the other drink in the same order was completely fine, I am concerned that one employee who made it didn't prepare it well, and has some problems.

Three beverages and a bubble waffle cone are arranged on a wooden table in a cafe. The drinks include a green tea latte, a milk tea with tapioca pearls, and a bubble waffle cone filled with small, round, golden-brown bubbles. The background shows a woman standing near the counter, with cafe interior elements and a blurred view of the outside through the window.

Without a doubt, TP tea is one of the best Boba spots in the bay area! Every time I get the chance to have TP tea, my day is made. I've been to multiple locations, and each of them have been consistent in terms of taste, service, and quality. When you walk in, there's always a strong tea and brown sugar aroma that fills the room. Everyone that I brought here has always commented how good this place smells and that should tell you something LOL. Their tea is strong and I love that their drinks aren't too milky. I always get the tie guan yin milk tea with 80% sweetness with their boba and QQ noodles - you must try this if you like chewy textures! This time around, I tried their Taro drink with oat milk at 50% and with Boba, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness and texture. Next time you're in the area, please give this a try. I absolutely recommend it to any boba lover!

C6. Strawberry Milk Tea Osmanthus milk tea - Two cups of tea from TP TEA are positioned on a wooden table near a window. The left cup contains an orange speckled beverage, while the right cup holds a yellow drink. Both cups have black lids and feature the TP TEA logo and branding, indicating they are from a Taiwanese tea shop established in 2005. The background shows a blurred view of the street outside, with natural light illuminating the scene.

I got the strawberry milk tea blended, and I loved it. It wasn't too sweet and had a nice, refreshing flavor where you could actually taste the tea. I also tried the osmanthus tea, which had a nutty, strong flavor. It's not sweet or creamy, more on the pure tea side, so if you're into that kind of drink, definitely go for it. I'll definitely be coming back to try more! They made my order quick and there were multiple kiosks to order.

Cute tea cup statue inside store. - A large ceramic sculpture of a tea cup with a glossy black body and a white rim, featuring a small white handle. A brown spherical object is placed on the rim of the cup. The sculpture is situated indoors, next to a small ladder and a beige wall, and appears to be a decorative piece related to tea culture.

I wanted to grab a tea drink before getting back on the road, came to visit this boba shop. I end up getting a taro drink with oatmeal milk, it was a delicious drink, it did not disappoint. I would come back! I asked for less ice and 30% sugar, it was just the way I like it. . The taro was super fresh! Yummy! There are a few tables inside the store. It is decorated with Christmas theme in this month of December. Cute little store. We didn't wait too long in getting our drinks either. Overall, I had a good experience.

Cute Shop, Mid Thai Tea My friend and I stopped by after seeing how packed this place was--we figured it had to be good. Unfortunately, the Thai tea was a letdown. Thai Tea (6/10): The color was gorgeous, which is why we both ordered it, but the taste? Just felt like one of those canned Thai teas from the Asian store--either not fresh or just not well-made. As a Thai tea lover, trust me on this one. Boba Texture: Overcooked, no chew, no bounce. If you like your boba al dente, this isn't it. Vibes & Service: The shop itself is really nice inside, and they have a cool system that tells you how long your order will take (which was great because we waited over 20 minutes). Final Thoughts: Maybe their other drinks are better since the place was packed, but if you're craving Thai tea, I'd say look elsewhere. There are other boba spots in the area, so definitely shop around!

4 self serve kiosks inside and ample seating. Fun vibes, they play kpop and top 50 music. Can't say much about service due to the self serve kiosks, but employees were quick to fix my sister's drink when it arrived without boba. Got the winter melon guan yin oolong tea with QQ noodles. No option to adjust sweetness unfortunately and just wasn't a fan of QQ noodles. Came back a few days later and got the mango passion smoothie with boba and lychee jelly. Yummmm but will get lower sweetness and no milk next time. Thankfully there WAS an option to lower sweetness!

Decent boba that the family liked! Felt a bit too mushy to me and the mango slush was too icy. Good spot to satisfy a craving though!

Tried a few more drinks at Yi Fang:…read more Multi-floral honey mountain tea, 50 sweet no ice, large: The drink was done in about half the time that was estimated (Snackpass estimated 15 minutes, but it was done in 7). It was barely sweet, 50% is the lowest sweetness you can set for this drink. I was disappointed by this one as I felt the tea and floral flavors could've been stronger, it really just tasted of honey. Large chocoberry bliss, warm, 50 sweet (which was the recommended sweetness): It's a non caffeinated drink and can only be hot or warm. It tastes of dark chocolate with strawberry. It reminded me of hot chocolate but with a strawberry milk flavor, I liked it and would recommend trying it when it's in season if you enjoy sweets and chocolate in particular. Cheese creamer black tea, no ice, 0% sweetness, large cold: The tea is truly bitter when at 0% sweetness, which is what I intended. A generous thick amount of creamer on top. It doesn't mix easily with the tea. Note that on Snackpass, they add another $0.25 onto the price of your drink for "city cup fee" - referring to City of Berkeley's fee charged for plastic drink cups. I have found they're usually pretty fast at making the drinks and they may be done earlier than what Snackpass estimates. Sometimes you may need to get the attention of one of the workers as they can be occupied working and aren't always at the counter looking at you.
