    Milk Tea with Boba
    Jenny H.

Milk tea with 0% sugar and boba was good. Boba was perfect texture and chew. Avocado smoothie was a bit watery for our liking. Would have loved more thickness!

Date: 5/30/2025 Time: 11:57 AM 68° Sunny I decided to stop here for lunch. First time, and it took me a while to decide exactly what I would have for lunch. It was either an everything bagel, cream cheese spread and a beverage at Starbucks or T4 Alameda. I chose the latter over the former. Wow! Nice selection of flavored teas, milk teas, smoothies, milkshakes, snacks and assortment of toppings. Also, they have three new items - chicken katsu bowl, chicken katsu sandwich, popcorn chicken rice bowl (price range $8.75 to $9.25). Eats: Chicken katsu rice bowl with a side of pickled radish. Beverage: lychee green tea with lychee jelly. (4 star) Chicken katsu has a crispy outer texture, yet moist and tasty. Lychee green tea is on point, refreshing with bits of lychee jelly. Service is quick and employee is friendly helpful. Seating capacity: about 20 people. Ambiance: casual and comfy. Three menu board mounted on wall. Lighting is perfect. Lunch counter has five chairs facing Park Street. Lunch: $17.44 (tax included). I must admit choosing T4 over Starbucks is better. Glad I made the right choice. Future visits: yes. Eager to try the avocado milkshake and a snack.

Earl Grey Tea with cream cheese top (l. 6.25) no ice/sugar

T4 replaces Pho Sinh with totally new decor of dark blue, wood, vanilla, beige walls & some twinkling lites at the front. Decor limited to lit menus on right wall. Seating in front and along left wall. Order at counter. Ready in 5ish minutes. Offerings: snacks, milk tea, flavored tea, smoothies & milkshakes, toppings, taiwan classic desserts, Salted cream cheese top... Sips: Earl Grey Tea w/cream cheese top (L. 6.25) -no ice, no sugar. Drank with small straw. Didn't shake per suggestion when asked. -tea semi robust flavor, cream cheese slightly sweet. -should have drank thru slit sans straw ala Happy Lemon style. Combined cheese & tea probably 5 stars. 4.5 stars instead. *drinks have improved in quality. Snacks still ok.

Wow, I'm actually really happy this T4 is here in Alameda. Having come from the South/East Bay with plentiful of good quality boba, this T4 does not disappoint. They have a variety of snacks and drinks, including egg puffs and coffee jelly (some T4s in South Bay do not have either). Normally I would get the earl grey milk tea, but I wasn't feeling that after dinner and decided to get the earl great black tea with coffee jelly instead, along with chocolate egg puffs. Both were great - especially how the black tea did not have any sediments and was clear, unlike some boba places could have it and it makes the tea have a horrid aftertaste. They also have a daily Happy Hour promotion of 20% off snacks. Will definitely come again!

Welcome back! Quality/Quantity - You were one of my daughter's favorite boba places. Usually a 5 star experience. But today, my daughter's boba was firm/hard as if they were old...? But the other drink's boba was good?!?! Was this from the same batch? The flavors of the drinks were good. Atmosphere - Small location. I think it is better than the previous location. At least you are not behind a huge column/pole now. Metered street parking. A few tables inside for eating and drinking. I believe a unisex bathroom...? I did not check, sorry. But I did notice a line for the bathroom. Service - Self service iPad. Then they call your # or name to pick up at the counter. Happy hour available from 6-8pm, but not worth the drive back to save $2. Price - $13, sorry iPad receipts are email only and my wife paid so I can not give you the drink descriptions, name, etc. Owner Comment - Again, welcome back. Congrats on your opening since 11/2/24. I am sure we will be regular customers again.

Well, well, well. T4, now that is a name I have not heard in a long time. The last I ever saw of this was early-mid pandemic when it seemed to be struggling. Then the store front went dark and bordered up during the dark times. Lo and behold! Literally just across the street from its original location on Park, it's now re-emerged. Slightly smaller than before but perhaps more manageable this time of the kids do not destroy place like before. So I had to go in and try out what most frequently ordered item from them. Popcorn chicken. It's been many years so I only have a faint memory of how it use to be. But I'd say it's still fairly decent. Hot, crunchy breading and solid seasoning. And just like before they keep the salt n pepper & chili powder shakers at the side to use at your pleasure. A solid snack that I will likely rely upon again. The day I came was a bit early and cold so I wasn't in the mood for a cold frosty smoothie. But the person assured me they still had my ole fav. I think it was called red bean matcha smoothie. I couldn't actually see that name on the board. But I'll be back to test it out later when it's warmer! Stay tuned...

Soft opening today. I love the popcorn chicken, it was perfectly fried and seasoned. I got my usual milk tea with grass jelly, I really like the silky and smooth grass jelly. I also got the red bean smoothie with boba for the kids, they loved it. The shop is bright and inviting. Servers and baristas were friendly.

Best boba spot in Alameda. The strawberry milkshake was one of the best I've ever had.

Best boba spot in Alameda. The strawberry milkshake was one of the best I've ever had. Waffle was super good and not too sweet. Milk tea was also really good. If you're around the area please go to T4 Alameda.

Out of the neighboring three businesses that also sell Boba on Park St, this location without question sells the best bubble milk tea. My party came at a dead time, but I've also been to other businesses before that did not give us our order for quite a while even when there was nobody else around. The staff here was lightning fast and also very attentive to members of my party. Some of them brought in outside food and while staff had every right to tell us they could not consume it within their business, they were more than generous and provided eating utensils for their meals. I am not sure if that is a norm here, but I did appreciate their consideration and allowing that to occur. I also appreciated how the energy in the business felt. In comparison to others, what I appreciated was at the staff was very engaging with their customers which allowed for a very welcoming environment for patrons. All of us enjoyed our drinks, and I know the next time we're in the area and search of Boba. This will be our only stop. 4/5.

    Balled up pandan waffle

I'll let the pictures speak for itself. These photos were taken less than five minutes after driving off . I was looking forward to a late night treat. But got met with disappointment. :( this is not how a pandan waffle is suppose to look like. It looked balled up, and had no shape. Looks undercook as well. Always check quality before leaving establishment.

Only came with 8 pieces for almost 10$ so if ur hungry I suggest getting a different snack!

Me and my bf were a bit hungry and Was craving a snack so we stopped by at t4. On the wall the pictures of the calamari rings looked good so my bf suggested we order it. After ordering it we were disappointed bc there was only 8 small pieces of calamari & we paid almost 10$ ): def not good to share between us. ( it looks bigger in my photo but it's actually not that big and filled less than half the box) I wasn't sure if that was the usual quantity so I just asked one of the male employee who looked like the manager and asked if they sell by the piece & I think he said it is usually sold by the number of pieces but he gladly just offered us a second batch. Really appreciated it. So 4 stars for him. Hopefully they can clarify there's only 8 pieces on the wall or menu so ppl won't be disappointed when they order it. If you're hungry I suggest ordering the popcorn chicken as a better snack and enough to share!!

Mint Iced Vietnamese Coffee ($6ish/5*). Tried this during the last holidays and it was fantastic. I already love Vietnamese coffee and this had a soft cream on top with grated mint candy. So festive and just hit for that season. Wonder if they can do it all year round? Smoked Salmon Bagel ($9.50/4*) Nice toasty smaller bagel with all the usuals of soft lox n cream cheese, capers and red onions. Loved the compact size as it didn't put a lead weight in my gut in the AM hours. The bagel crust tho is kinda hard and brittle, almost crouton hard which I thought was strange. But the interior was indeed soft yet chewy. Iced Cold Brew ($4/4*) Pretty smooth. I only asked for a kiss of cream and it was just right. I prefer a more robust roast finish but still quite serviceable. I liked how the owner knew a lot of the customers by name. Since I'm not a reg, I actually was the only one who didn't get called by name on a weekday morning. Love the small town vibe and even tho not a reg, I'd still hit this up if in the neighborhood.
