It's so hard to find a Peet's coffee shop nowadays! Luckily, I found this one and was able to order some of their more unique drinks. My final verdict is yes to the drinks, huge no to the food! They have a decent assortment and uniqueness to their drinks that I like, such as the Turmeric Latte and the Ube Matcha latte. Both stood out to be tasty...but I was unfortunately enticed into getting their 2 for $8 Elote Tacos via their app -- don't do it guys. It tasted like it looked...mushy and uneventful. Spend your money on a real taco shop. The interior decor was very nice and clean and the parking was ample, but busy. But the 20 min parking spots usually open up frequently. read more

One start because they denied to half warm my sandwich, I didn't want it fully warm because I don't like the smell of melty cheese, they kept on saying that they must "cook it" but what of an ignorant people they are, those sandwiches are already cooked, if they are under refrigeration there's no problem for a sandwich to be half way warm or toasted. The manager kept on saying that's an internal policy but I know such a policy doesn't exist. I will call the corporate, because I will be coming to this location much more often, so they can teach them how not to be ignorant. read more

This morning we stop to get coffee and our favorite Almond Croissant as usual. I'm a big fan of Peet's coffee since 2009. But never come to this location. We saw they have only one almond croissant on tray so we asked the girl before we start to oder that do you have only one almond croissant or you have more? If you have more we want two. Maggie; the girl who taking order said oh we have two. My husband then order 2 Almond croissants and 2 coffee. Then she gave us two pistachio things( not sure it call roll or?!?) which we DID NOT order. Then she ask DO YOU WANT TO CHANGE order from Pistachio to ALMOND CROISSANT? we confirmed that we DID NOT say Pistachio at all. We ordered Almond croissant. The she warm the only one almond croissant gave to us and say thank you then walk away. . We said wait a minute! We paid for 2 why give us only one, she said oh do you want money back? I will get manager. Manager came out and ask do you want to change from pistachio to almond croissant? I told her that we never say a word of pistachio at all!! The service I received from Carol today was exceptionally good! I ordered from the app for pick up then my phone died after I got notified my drink was ready for pick up. I thought I ordered from this location and it was actually to the Manhattan location (FURTHER away), she went ahead and allowed me to charge my phone while they made my coffee I am so grateful and will be returning to this El Segundo location they know customer service & never denied me my drink. read more

Ambiance: I went on a Sunday afternoon, and it was fairly light and quiet inside. But it's your typical coffee shop vibe. Service: I love the cashier! She was so helpful and even helped me create my own drink, I got my drinks fast as well. Food: The peanut butter cookie is a MUST! It's probably one of the best peanut butter cookies I've had from a coffee shop. I will definitely be back for that alone. Pop in for a coffee! Park 1/4 mile walk from Peet's. AVOID! I like Peet's, but this location is a HARD pass. It is totally understaffed. 2 people working mid-day and there was a huge line. Plus, the parking lot is an absolute disaster and horribly designed. Do not go unless you have other things to do in this shopping facility or you will be annoyed by the lack of parking and the wait for a cup of coffee. read more

I had an awkward entire my last stop in the store. The cashier was standing there and just staring off. I wasn't sure if she was ready for me so I just stood there. After not being acknowledged for about a minute and a half, I had to ask her if she was ready. I gave her my order, messed up and apologized, then re-ordered and she was honestly so bland with no facial expressions or anything that it made me feel so uncomfortable. She was not wearing a name tag but she had lots of pins on her aprons of cats. I don't expect every person to react as if I was at Disneyland, but a basic greeting would have been nice. Their coffee grains are good quality it doesn't give me stomach irritation. Also I like it because they have a dairy free milks. At the next day I don't feel the bad crush. Prices are decent. Parking situation is not bad is big lot were people is in and out so if you get lucky and be patiently waiting you may get parking right in front. It was my first time at Peet's Coffee, and I decided to switch things up from my usual iced brew. I ordered the Horchata Cold Brew Oat Latte, which wasn't as sweet as I expected but still enjoyable. I also shared a slice of banana bread and chocolate pumpkin bread. While both were good, I preferred the banana bread--the pumpkin bread could've used a bit more chocolate. My last 3 visits to this location have been disappointing as far as coffee quality is concerned. I drink "fresh brewed" dark roast coffee and what I've been served here is anything but fresh. It always seems to have a burnt flavor to it which is probably due to sitting (cooking) in the urn. The newer in-store brewing system they use has built in timers that flash red when the coffee is over 30" old. Peet's claims after sitting 30", the coffee is discarded and a new batch is brewed. Today all four of the urns were flashing red yet they continued to serve the coffee. I had the same experience last month as well. This location could use a manager or employees who are willing to ensure what they serve is drinkable. read more

I've never been disappointed with their offerings. There's a wide, interesting variety of blends, beans, roasts and special occasion or holiday flavours. Plus, Peet's is more generous to begin with. For the same amount you might spend on a Venti or Grande, you get a bigger, tastier cuppa here. The shop has a convivial, warm atmosphere, and baristas are on top of their game. The company takes customer service seriously and hires accordingly. Sometimes you'll find check-in freebies, and of course, WiFi at all their coffee house locations. I love me some Peets on a daily basis. It's good every day coffee and their French Roast is dark and full bodied. Although this store can get crowded so seating isn't always easy to find, I'm okay with sipping and moving around the Point, a very cool shopping center. They have a few tasty treats just like Starbucks, but seem a little more authentic. I'd choose Peets coffee over Starbucks any day of the week. read more

Love coming to this Pete's. Friendly staff who makes your coffee with a smile. Large space if you want to hang out. Food options are great for breakfast on the go. My drink of choice are the Black Tie (iced) and Havana Cappuccino (hot). The bottled cold crew are yummy as well. I tried some of their hot breakfast sandwiches. The cheese sandwich and maple chicken sausage are okay. The chicken chorizo flatbread is yummy. Sad that they don't carry the cheese and fruit platter anymore (similar to Starbucks but a tad better). The offer a wide variety of pastries and do have healthy options as well. Parking can be challenging since it shares parking with other businesses in the complex. It can also be a plus if you have time. You can grab your drink and leisurely walk around the numerous stores in the area. Location is always clean, which is a plus. read more

Really good drinks and even better service. Barista/cashier was super helpful as I asked a few questions because I don't have a Peet's where I live. They have such a wide selection of food and pastries and drinks. I always make it a point to try to seasonal drinks. I stopped by here for their famous Havana Cappuccino. This drink has a bit of condensed milk in it, which makes it extra tasty. The caffeine boost is also very much appreciated. This store looks new, as it is very clean. It is well run, the staff here is super friendly and efficient in processing orders. I got my cappuccino in no time, and was out the door to my next destination. This Peet's location is located in a relatively new, clean, and beautifully decorated shopping center. Hmmmm i love Peet's but this location always forgets my drink. They usually make it and leave it in the blender and i have to wait longer for them to remake it and then i'm wondering like does the one they made just go to waste. This happens usually so im not going to bother with this location anymore. We inevitably stop here for refreshments while at The Point in Manhattan Beach / El Segundo. Ample seating inside is usually all taken but there are so many green outdoor spots to lounge here that we prefer to be outside anyway. Their iced green tea is my favorite because it is unsweetened and refreshing. We tried their honey bran muffin and while I am usually a huge honey bran fan, this one had too much honey and was too sweet. Finally splurged on a hazelnut chocolate bar that we've been eyeing. Restrooms are kept clean which is nice. First cashier walked away from us in the middle of placing our order but the second cashier was friendly and efficient. Yesterday's experience left us feeling slightly off put and odd but usually we have a good experience hence the five stars despite yesterday's snub.
