I recently visited and really enjoyed the ambiance from the moment we walked in. #hosted There's a little shop where you can purchase some goodies to take home. My kinda place! I learned they do catering and have an online order pick up window on the outside of the building. Additionally, they have a full tap wall including wine by the tap! Sign me up every time! I was there for dinner and enjoyed the vibes and the lovely presentation of the food. I also loved how they brought the dessert options to the table making it hard to resist choosing just 1...or 3! If you are looking for a different spot to go for date night, girls night, or a night cap, be sure to add Pecan Craft Kitchen as one of your options!

Another great experience at Pecan! This time around I had the chicken burger and it was quite good. I'm not a huge fan of chicken in general but they really do it right here. The sauce was good. It was thick like a regular burger and very well flavored. I had a baby potato salad for my side and that was great too. For drinks I had a cherry cream soda (I'm very into the tractor brand sodas they have. Just a little unique and very tasty). Then I also had a Pear Pressure. That was great as well! It's such a cute place and all the employees are so pleasant and they really know the menu well to make great recs. I'm already looking forward to my next trip!

We were in the area for a festival event and decided to eat at pecan craft kitchen. Upon walking in we really loved the vibe and their cute interesting and unique products and desserts towards the entrance. Our party of 5 ordered some apps: eggs and cornbread (both were excellent). The service was also very attentive and just perfect Emily was absolutely lovely. Our sandwiches and drinks and appetizers were simply delicious. Love what they do here and we can't wait to go back and try desserts next time as we were just too full. Loved the menu with lots of variety even for vegetarians which we had 2 in our party.

I've wanted to try this place for the longest time, and what better way than with friends!! Their menu features fresh farm to table ingredients, and everything we ordered was excellent. We started with the Southern Pecan Cornbread, which was an easy 5/5, and I paired it with a refreshing half-and-half peach iced tea from their selection of peach, green, and seasonal flavors. For our meal , we ordered the Grilled Mushroom Flatbread with locally sourced mushrooms, roasted sweet peppers, Fontina, Parmesan, roasted garlic, and fresh arugula. It was packed with flavor and another 5/5. We also split the Charleston handheld sandwich with pecan-fried chicken, Brie, roasted pears, citrus-tossed arugula, and Creole peach sauce. The sandwich was fantastic, but I'd recommend asking for the Creole peach sauce on the side so you can add it to your liking. Every dish tasted fresh and showcased the quality of the ingredients. The atmosphere was quaint and inviting, everything was clean, and our waitress and the staff were friendly and attentive. We all left impressed and are already looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu.

My favorite thing? No seed oils! I was not sure what to expect at this place, but I met a coworker for dinner and would definitely come back again. There's a cute little shop at the front, then the restaurant and bar itself behind that. They have a whole space for drinks on tap -- you have a card that you use and they tally up the charges for your bill. We didn't use it, but I'd want to try it next time I'm there. Super cute and a lot of options. I had a bbq flatbread that was so light and amazing, simple and fresh and perfectly filling. Our server was a sweetheart and we had a great meal and experience.

Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner & it was a fantastic first experience at Pecan. Our server, Jax, was so personable and sweet. We started with the jalapeño cornbread bites, which we expected to be small bite sized but they are a generous size almost slices. Listen, we weren't complaining, they were delicious! We then split the Caesar salad, Brie & chicken flatbread, and the shrimp & feta flatbread. Everything was so tasty! All the ingredients were fresh & the house made Caesar was on point. We loved what we chose! We polished off our meal with the bread pudding dessert & the lemon curd with blueberries. Absolutely love the touch of them being served in mini mason jars. Can't wait to come back for more yummy choices! I also have got to mention the super fun drink wall! You get a tap card and each tap which includes custom-made, cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, each part priced per ounce, and you just use the lever and drink as much as you want... Which means it is a completely deadly and expensive situation but if you have proper self-control as we did, you will be just fine! Highly recommend trying the lavender gin cocktail, and the Sauvignon Blanc wine! Both delicious! Thanks Jax for making my gf birthday dinner so fun! Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Keep it up!

We had a great experience here! Saturday reservation through Open Table for 11:45am and the dining area had a handful of tables already seated. Our server was great, answering our questions and letting us know the fish and soup of the day. We tried the Jacked Up Corn Bread for an appetizer, the cornbread is delicious and the added heat from the hot honey and jalapeño definitely kicked it up. I ordered their old fashioned, which was smooth and infused with pecan flavor. For my entree, I chose the Pecan sandwich with a side of corn and edamame. The chicken on my sandwich was fantastic, a bit messy to eat as a handheld with the slaw so I used my utensils. The chilled corn and edamame side was refreshing and tasty. The dining area was welcoming and nicely arranged, they have a market to shop at the entrance along with a bar and outdoor patio for other seating options. Highly recommend this place, it was wonderful.

My husband and I have wanted to go for a while but saw mixed reviews. So glad we didn't listen to the worst ones. We ordered the pecan cornbread appetizer- it was interesting. It arrived piping hot with a distinct citrus butter. Not sweet at all, very nutty, and the table next to us got an order that looked much more like cornbread. We'd order again to give another try. The main dishes were outstanding! My husband ordered the filet. Perfectly cooked with this amazing garlic aioli. The pecan fire taste came through. I went with my typical shrimp and grits (despite several bad reviews) and it was wonderful. A little bit spicy with creamy grits and at least 12 shrimp. For dessert we tried a banana pudding and pecan pie. Tasty but would probably get something different next time. The gingersnap flavor was strong in the banana pudding, and the pecan pie didn't have a gooey part that we are used to having. Service was extremely attentive and prompt. Our server, Rajah, was as delightful as you can be. Food came out quickly. The dining area is light and airy although slightly loud. The beverage wall was occasionally busy and led to more foot traffic but it was not intrusive. Looking forward to returning with the family when the weather is nicer to experience outside.

I had heard a lot about Pecan Craft Kitchen coming to the Fruit Cove/St Johns area and let me tell you they did a great job with the building and the entry when you first come in. They also seem pretty busy still. Almost every table in there was full and this was on a Thursday so good for them. Once seated I noticed they they had a whole self pour beer wall with wine and cocktails. These are one my my favorites so back fan of that even though I wasn't drinking that night. We started off with the Angel Eggs and these were very good. Some of the best in the area for sure. I would eat multiple orders of these and not get sick of them. For my entree there were a few things that looked good but knowing it was my first time here I had to try the Citrus Grilled Florida Shrimp & Marsh Hen Mill Cheesy Grits since Shrimp & Grits are one of my go-tos. I will say at first I was a little disappointed but it had also my shrimp in it then looked like from first glance. They we all just picked under the Okra. I will say the Zesty Creolla Sauce was a little on the bland side. Just figured it would be a little more rich and spicy. The shrimp where fine as well. Are 10 of them and not to small but not too big either for sure just average. I will say I wasn't completely blown away by Pecan but I could for sure seeing my self coming back if I was looking to go out to a healthy option for dinner.

I enjoy every visit to Pecan! This was my first time sitting outside and I was actually chilly from the breezy afternoon. Plus, fans were spinnin' out there. Yes, I'm 100% Floridian. But it's a different vibe out there and I'm here for it. I've been here a few times. After the first time when my daughter wasn't a fan I just came with my bf because we both like it. I took my daughter this time, tho. She just isn't digging the kids options. She'd rather have beef burger or breaded chicken. She'd even go for a grilled cheese.. in case you guys are looking for a wider variety for the [picky] kiddos ;) but she enjoyed the outside and the giant connect four. The winter mule was pretty good. I came by a couple days before my birthday so they hand wrote a lil card and gave me spiced pecans in a lil baggy. Very sweet. My bf enjoyed those pecans. I think the waitress was friendly tho maybe a lil impatient and a lil less attentive, but not terribly. They weren't packed this time.. My fish sandwich was delicious as it always is. Tho I think the sides were different since our last visit so the potatoes were different than I remembered but still good. Bathroom is cute and clean. Music is good, not too loud. I'll be back again soon, y'all.

    Mahi special

Yum!!!!! Came here for an early weekday dinner with family in town and had a really great experience. I ordered the mahi special and loved it, super fresh and flavorful and the asparagus was so large I couldn't believe it. My husband got one of the sandwiches and said it was really good too, he would get again!! We also tried a few apps and the deviled eggs were a standout. The decor is really cute and gives the place a great vibe. Parking was easy (assuming bc it was a 530pm dinner) which is always a win. Only small downside is I wish they had Diet Coke, but everything else was on point. Would definitely come back!

A solid lunch spot with real potential, just a few tweaks away from being exceptional. The space itself is stylish and clean with a trendy vibe, though fair warning: dress in layers, because it was freezing inside on a Saturday afternoon. We shared four dishes between two people (the trout, pimento cheese, cornbread, and mushrooms) and the hits definitely outweighed the misses. The trout was the star of the table, cooked beautifully and full of flavor. The pimento cheese app was equally impressive and we would order both again without hesitation. The cornbread with jalapeño, however, was a swing and a miss for us. The sauce it came with felt out of place and overwhelmed the dish. Next time we'd try the plain. Similarly, the mushrooms leaned too heavily on smokiness and the accompanying sauce felt unnecessary rather than complementary. The restaurant markets itself as a healthier option, no fried foods, clean ingredients, which we appreciated in concept. That said, many dishes arrived heavily sauced, which made the "light" positioning feel a little misleading and caloric, however I did not confirm the calories. At $85 for two people sharing just one entrée, two apps, and a veggie side (tip included), the price felt steep for a casual lunch. You'll want to keep that in mind going in. We'll be back for the trout and pimento cheese, but we'll be more selective with our order.

    Excited to be here!

The eggs were bland :/ Service was great. Sweet waitress. Cool place. The food was good. I was told the eggs were bland. My flatbread had more Brie than chicken. If you want to get your money's worth order and actual meal. Overall very cool place. Drink was amazing. I would come back for drinks and appetizers.

When we first arrived, the hostess stayed on her phone for quite a while before acknowledging us and simply told us to sit wherever. After being seated, one of the waitresses stopped by only once to ask where the rest of our party was. Once they arrived, we were not served at all during the entire hour we sat at the table. We eventually had to go to the bar just to get drinks, and the bartender was the only friendly and attentive person we encountered the whole night. We also tried to play pool. We got dollars from the bartender and went to a table, but a very intoxicated woman claimed the table was "hers," even though she had not paid and was waiting for someone else to give her money for it. No staff stepped in to manage the situation. After one drink, we decided it was best to leave. Unfortunately, the lack of service and overall atmosphere made this a very poor experience.

My fried chicken sandwich was well-cooked but a little salty. My husband's mango habanero wings weren't spicy, but he still liked them. Drinks were hit or miss. The spicy margarita had heat but no sweetness (not my favorite), and the espresso martini leaned more bitter than balanced. I also got a chocolate martini that was good. My hubby ordered a Elijah Craig whisky flight for $24. He liked the opportunity to explore different whiskeys. The service was good considering homeboy was tending the bar AND running around being the waiter for every table (he was the only waiter/bartender). He held it down! Bathrooms were clean, automatic points there. Overall, a solid spot for a fun night out.

I got here as they opened on Sunday, and it got packed relatively quickly. I'd recommend having a reservation if you're planning to visit during busier timeframes like this. I was seated promptly by attentive staff, and quickly had both food and drink menus to begin ordering. I was looking for something tasty without being too heavy, and settled on the Little Hans Vienna Lager along with the 8 oz steak burger and fries. The beer had amazing flavor similar to Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager with a good, crisp finish. The burger meal, described with "Tillamook cheddar cheese, caramelized onion & bacon jam, beef fat aioli, grilled potato roll, truffle fries", was arguablely the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavor of the wood-fired grill certainly complemented the meat. The house-made pickles were a great touch to add another layer of complexity to the burger. I could tell the fries were fresh cut and never frozen. The truffle oil made these even more amazing. The manager offered and brought a special sauce to try that they normally serve with their chicken chicken sandwich that was superbly tasty and tangy. More than impressed with my entree, I elected to try a desert and was recommended the S'mores pie by my waitress. The deliciously buttery crust was my favorite part of the ensemble and blended well with the savory chocolate filling topped with a toasted marshmallow. While a bit pricey for lunch compared to most places, I was more than satisfied with the offerings provided here and would love to visit Ember and Iron again.
