Came by around 4:30 on a Friday and had the breezy, covered patio all to ourselves. The entire staff was so welcoming, which made our first outing with the baby feel super comfortable. The pear martini is a must, super refreshing, light, & definitely strong! We also loved the mojito, grilled octopus, and ceviche. Everything was fresh and we finished every bite. We'll definitely be back for dinner!

Beautiful ambiance. We enjoyed patio seating with string lights and heated towers. Pasha our server was honest in his suggestions and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food was fresh and delicious! The add on mesquite grilled lobster tail is a must... no butter or other accoutrements needed.

Eleven south is one of the most consistent upscale restaurants in Jax. I came with a party of 5 to celebrate 3 birthdays on a Monday night, and it was busy with nearly every table taken. We were seated promptly and offered drinks, and we opted to share a bottle of wine. I ordered the filet with brussel sprouts on the side after debating between this and the frutti di mare pasta, a favorite of mine. I ordered it medium rare and it came out nicely tender and definitely pink/a little red in the center. The brussel sprouts were a welcome addition, although I do feel they were a bit mushy. And they do have bacon, which adds great flavor, but obviously limits the dish to those who eat meat/pork. Overall, I've never had a bad meal here and service is top notch. They also offered 3 crème brûlées to accommodate for the birthdays in the group!

Adding Eleven South to my list of go-to spots in Jax Beach! We came here for my birthday and were pleasantly surprised with amazing service and a great ambiance. The food was top notch, the shrimp appetizer is a must if you go here. The tortilla on my wrap tasted homemade and I could not stop eating the truffle fries. If you haven't been here definitely add it to your list!

Lovely restaurant in Jax Beach. Considered an upscale restaurant but I feel their prices are quite reasonable especially when taking into account the food is amazing. I recommend the royal red shrimp as an appetizer...delicious! They have a nice variety of quality dishes BUT, I have to say, that I've not had a better burger. It was perfectly seasoned unlike actual burger places that count on the toppings for flavor. Ryan, our server, was also top notch! Highly recommend

The service, food and ambiance were incredible. Pasha was our server and made my fiancé's birthday dinner perfect!

We had an overall enjoyable evening here and really appreciated the atmosphere and thoughtful menu. We started with the burrata, which was stuffed with goat cheese -- a creative twist that at least one of us really enjoyed. The short rib bruschetta was a standout and packed with flavor, and the scallops were nicely cooked (though I personally would've loved to see them paired with polenta or grits to round out the dish). Where the evening took a bit of a turn was during pre-dinner drinks. We asked the bartender what rye options were available for an Old Fashioned, and she recommended the 18-year Sazerac. There was no mention of the price, and we assumed it was in the typical range -- until the bill came and we saw that one Old Fashioned was $150. It was an unexpected and disappointing surprise, especially given there was no heads-up or indication that it was such a premium pour. That lack of transparency unfortunately soured the experience a bit. We still enjoyed our time and the food, but we do feel it's fair to expect a heads-up when a drink recommendation is well above the norm.

This was our first time here, and we were so impressed! The service was amazing, even on a busy Monday night. Valet parking was super convenient, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The scallops were fresh and delicious, and the filet was cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be coming back!

First time trying Eleven South! The parking lot is small but they offer valet to make it easy! We got the steak tartare, cheese and the melon/feta salad to start. They were all tasty but the salad was by far my favorite. It was hydrating and refreshing. I got the salmon as my entree and it was delicious! The risotto under it was incredible! Make sure you save room for dessert. We got the banana foster bread pudding but I'd love to go back and try the pistachio cheesecake! Our server was prompt, attentive and personable with recommendations. We sat outside which was still a little hot even with a later reservation but we dressed for it!

The first two were large events, while the Christmas dinner was more intimate, and the space worked perfectly for all of them. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. As a Filipino, I loved that there was room for line dancing and, of course, karaoke! Always a must! The food was very good overall, but my favorite dish is the tofu sisig. It's bold and savory, I could not stop eating! I tried it for the first time here and haven't found another version I like as much anywhere else. The larger parties were served buffet style, otherwise we had the dishes family style. Perfect opportunity to try different entrees by sharing with the table. Whether you're looking for a large space for a party or a cozy spot for dinner, Maharlika is a great choice.

I ordered the Short Rib Hash Bowl without tomatoes. My only critique was that I could've used a little more short rib and a little less potatoes but I liked everything else about it. My wife had the Breakfast Burrito, which I could've called from before we even walked in. If a place had a breakfast burrito, she's gonna order it. This one was great. There was a lot of good flavor packed into that tortilla. She especially liked the chili sauce on top. It had a little kick that elevated the whole thing. We went this past Friday and while they had the same great food (with one exception), same decor and vibe, it seemed as if the typically impeccable service was staring to slip. The staff was in a great mood, seemed to be having a party and maybe that was some of the issue. Drinks not filled, food brought out a different points when we asked for it to be brought together etc. One of the guests requested their sauce on the side and it came right on top of her cold steak. We had to constantly grab anyone who worked there to get help and get served or drink refills. Very atypical of Prospect. I'm reviewing again to be constructive. I still love Prospect and I need them to be the excellent experience they have always been. I'm truly hoping this was a one off afternoon.

Service was attentive and gracious. I started with a rose spritz, the avocado carpaccio, and the half roast chicken. The spritz was a delight. Not too sweet, very refreshing. The carpaccio was amazing with the smoked salt, and the briny caviar. My friend ordered the chips and dip, and heaven on earth is combining the two appetizers (a chip topped with avocado and then a dollop of creme fraiche/caviar). The chicken was okay. I should have gone with something else, but I panic-ordered. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't remarkable. I should have gone with a fancy salad or the lobster roll. My second drink, a glass of rose, was okay but wasn't served ice cold, a disappointment. I shared a chocolate chip cookie at the end of the meal, and it was absolutely delicious. So I went with the grilled avocado with caviar that I probably wouldn't order again... that's because the overly rich and buttery flavor of the avocado dominated the dish and muted the subtle oceanic notes of the caviar. The roasted chicken salad was pretty plain... literally just chicken and butter lettuce! It made me miss the Mulholland Drive salad. I'll still return for the ambience and excellent service... hopefully will find something better next time.

First off, this place is tiny, I doubt they even seat 40, so reservations are a must. I admit, I wasn't aware of the policy and wandered in without one, late on a Thursday night, after a workshop at the Cummer. They were kind enough to let me grab a seat at the bar, but that was definitely a one off. As someone who is practically allergic to planning, having to make reservations, IN ADVANCE - GASP! may be difficult for me, but completely worth it I prefer to eat tapas style, because I enjoy having a few bites of a number of different things with varied flavors and textures, but since I was on my own, I was a bit limited with how much I could order and eat. I got the zanahorias, an absolute flavor bomb, with raw carrot ribbons, saturated in vinegar, olive oil and Moroccan spices, topped with sweet sultanas and crunchy almonds for contrast and the freshness of cilantro. Then I moved on to the tomato and cucumber salad, served over a dill whipped cheese, garnished with coucous, sprigs of dill and pickled onions. I think I should have had it come out first, because it was light and fresh and lovely, but didn't hold up to the intensity of flavors of the zahorias. I also would have liked just a little bit of sea salt to sprinkle over the tomatoes, but that's just a personal preference. Lastly, I got the shrimp pil-pil, which is usually offered as an octopus dish, but was being served with shrimp that night. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and I basically wanted an entire loaf of their homemade baguette to soak up all that garlicky oil, but my absolute favorite thing was that bright, lemony aioli. It reminded me of a dish that I had in Nice years ago and made me question why I don't put aioli on everything. I was too full to get dessert, but I'm looking forward to going back, hopefully with a group, so I can try more of the menu.

The insides of the sandwich were good but totally overtaken by the bread which was dry and too crumbly. But the thing that sums up this visit was the Yuca Fries...$4 for (I kid you not) THREE yuca fries! Yes, I said 3 little yuca fries on a small plate for $4!!!! I had the Vaca Frita with Yuca con Mojo and grilled veggies. The meat was dry but the flavors of all were pretty good. Ended the meal with "Cuban" coffee which was NOT Cuban coffee but what tasted like unsweetened instant espresso. And a flaN which was the highlight of the meal. Good portion, fresh and delicious. I was told this place had been open for 2 years. Hard to believe. Maybe we came at a bad time but I wouldn't expect a place like this to last six months. Oh, the server was pleasant enough. I don't think she knew just how bad things are. I'd give this place 1 star if not for the fact the flavors were okay. Oh yes, almost forgot...the bill for this lackluster of an experience was $58 including tip!! (Did I mention we drank water? Drink prices were incredibly overpriced). And finally, a terrible case of heartburn accompanied me for the rest of the evening. My wife and I grew up in South Florida so we kinda know what this food should taste like. Lots of decent to good Cuban restaurants in northeast Florida. This is not one of them. Needless to say, we won't be back!
