Met for our monthly social gathering and even without a reservation they quickly accommodated our party of 7. Drinks were all great and everyone enjoyed their food selection. My chicken flatbread was especially yummy with lots of fresh toppings. Our server Russell was amazing and took such great care of us all. Definitely recommend for an ocean view and great service!

Frozen espresso!

Enjoyed a mid day cocktail last sat when my MIL was in town. Bartenders were friendly & attentive. Drinks were the perfect offerings for a beach bar, ave price for the area. We each tried something separate and all enjoyed our drinks. I opted for the frozen espresso martini- didn't taste like there was much booze in it, but i did like it (but IMO reg espresso martinis are way better.) Didn't have food this go round since we had just eaten, but I've had the brussel sprouts app and watermelon salad before and they were excellent and I regretted not having room for them this visit. Finding a beach bar in Jax with an actual view of the water is hard to find- we all enjoyed sitting outside- just hold on to ur stuff cuz wow it's windy! Not crowded either. Bonus- Bathrooms are shockingly clean for jax beach haha.

Came here for a private event. Service and food was excellent! Zero disappointment. I absolutely loved the staff and the food! Delicious and everyone was very nice! We had a DJ and it was so fun! The decor here is very cute and it's a perfect spot for a private event. It's located on the second floor of the hotel so it's kind of a hidden spot. Amazing view, but we were here at night so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor areas as it was raining and wet.

We came in for a small bite and a drink after driving 6 hours to Jax. It was not too busy in restaurant bar had a couple patrons. The bartender was very nice and helpful. One of the servers was loud and hung out at the end of the bar. The views are amazing right on the ocean. Pizza was good different in a good way. Drinks were great.

Cajun shrimp pasta

I really wanted to love this place. It was a bit out of the way for where I was, but I ventured out to meet some fam and a friend for lunch. This restaurant is inside the springhill suites hotel. It's absolutely beautiful. Beachside with high floor to ceiling windows. The view is absolutely breathtaking and there's seating right outside the restaurant for people watching and snacks in between surfing and time on the beach. The staff here is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The drinks here are quite stiff and pack a good flavor punch. There are a lot of options for beer and wine, but the cocktails are really good. My table ordered the flatbread, a salad, the wings, kids chicken tenders and fries, Cajun shrimp pasta, the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries and multiple cocktails and soft drinks. For the most part everyone enjoyed their food and the experience. The only gripe I had was the sauce for the Cajun shrimp pasta. It was mostly oil. The blackened shrimp were cooked perfectly. So tender and not overcooked, flavor was perfect and there was at least 6-7 of them for the whole dish. The sauce had very little flavor and the amount of oil the pasta was swimming in, was a tad bit off putting. Pasta was a little overcooked, but still had great texture. The flatbread was so bomb. The table next to us ordered crab cakes, which looked and smelled amazing. I'll for sure be back and that's exactly what I'll order. We got out under $230 and had leftovers. 9 out of 10 recommend.

We went on a Wednesday evening. We were staying at the hotel and figured it would be easy to get a bite downstairs. The service was extremely slow, but they were clearly under staffed. The bartender was also serving tables. The appetizers were so good. The Carribean Flatbread is the best thing we had all night. We really should have ordered another round of apps. The main entrees were all very underwhelming. The space is a nice size. The outside patio facing the pier is so nice at night. We went back on another night and ended up having only drinks watching the beach and pier. Overall It's good for a hotel restaurant but I recommend being patient when you go.

Views were amazing, cute little hide away spot located inside the spring hill suites on Jax beach . Literally overlooks the beach, surfers were out Balcony seating is tight, and you must order inside, there is no service on the balcony. Drinks were okay fairly strong Decided not to order food but the flatbread pizza looked great Might try again for full experience

We stopped in here for a nightcap. The location is great within the Springhill Suites hotel. It is located at the rear of the hotel with great views of the pool and the beach. The bartender was friendly and pretty swift recognizing he was servicing the whole bar area at that point in the evening. Gave it only 4 stars as we didn't try any food but they appeared to have some decent options to try.

The atmosphere is lovely. Beautiful view of the beach. Restaurant is on the second floor. The appetizer and entree were delicious. Parking is free Monday to Thursday in the lots across and next to hotel.

Smash burger with sweet potato fries

The view and the vibe were the absolute best part! Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Jacksonville pier, the views are beautiful! Service was pretty quick for a Saturday afternoon! We chose this place because we were staying in the hotel. We ordered the chips and salsa and it was okay. The chips were a little stale, but the salsa was pretty good. All of us thought our sandwiches were just okay. I ordered the smash burger and it was very dry. There was not enough sauce to make it juicy. The Surfer chicken was not very flavorful, and was missing that "jerk" taste. The Southwest Chicken sandwich was a little chewy and just eh flavor. The sweet potato fries, however, were the hit of the table!! My friends tried them and said they were much better than the regular fries.

My wife found this spot on Eventbrite, she was a guest of the event. I was a guest at the Bar. I ordered the smash burger and got some drinks. The drinks were incredible. The service was on point, they were very attentive. The ambiance was beautiful, it's right on the beach, you can see the waves and hear the water. Very romantical! Lol 5 stars, we will come back again for a date night.

Fried calamari

Sandbar is located inside the Springhill Suites Hotel. The hotel was buzzing on the Saturday afternoon that we visited. The restaurant is located right off the pool area & there were lots of young people coming in for frozen drinks. Girls in bikinis & guys with surfboards going by. The restaurant itself is small but bright & has a killer view of the ocean. Outside there is a long standup ledge where you can see the beach while sipping your drink. Our server was efficient & friendly. However our order took a long time to come out of the kitchen & the fried calamari that we ordered as an appetizer came out with the food. The server did apologize as she thought we wanted it with the meal. All four of us enjoyed our meals. They were a good value for the price. We had crab cakes, mahi tacos, chicken tacos, jerk chicken bowl & the fried calamari appetizer. The only negative comment about the food was that the calamari was too salty. My jerk chicken bowl needed a sauce & when I mentioned it to our server she suggested a crème that she could bring. That totally elevated my dish & I suggest the restaurant serve it on the side. I definitely will return to try some frozen drinks and to take in the ocean view. Chatting with the management on the way out I mentioned the super lively vibe & noise level. He suggested the week days are quieter. Also, pro tip on parking : the hotel has a parking lot beneath it. The charge is $17. You can park across the street or on the side streets with metered parking.

Since it was a Tuesday morning, it was pretty quiet in the area and we had a private class with Chris. Chris was very thorough, starting with candle and fire safety. He took his time showing my daughter the process, from pouring, mixing, balancing the smells and everything in between. He knew a lot about scents and what goes well together. The shop itself was really nice and tidy. Bonus points on the "secret" room that had some gaming stuff like pool table, mini arcade area and some board games. I say secret because the connecting door is hidden as one of the shelves. He let us take our time in the room that is actually an adjoining room to his shop that has its own entrance/exit door. We could have also bought food from next door and the shop offers drinks. They have different events every month. Really neat shop, close to lots of other neat businesses like coffee and ice cream shops.

I went with my son and some friends, and we all want to go back for a girl's night out. You get to choose your candle container, number of wicks and scents. They recommend choosing 3 scents and there are a lot of scents to choose from! They were helpful with helping us decide which ones went well together. The other side is a gaming lounge/bar with self-pour taps, which is pretty neat. You can serve yourself beer and wine after getting a card from the front desk. Overall, it was a fun experience and worth checking out if you are looking for something different to do.
