We were around town and chose this place last minute. The food was amazing. Gabriel provided great service. Perfect place for brunch. Beautiful place and will definitely come back !

Nice place. Good food and good service. A little pricey. They were busy but no wait. We had reservations just to be sure. My daughter didn't eat the yuca because it was too hard.

I had gone to Pecado a while back at a Yelp event and marked it for future visits. The future arrived when we were in town for a st Patrick's Day parade. Brunch there was the perfect venue waiting for parade 6bdgin Her salD6wS a automatic five star when they included watermelon radish. My fundidido was a perfect blend of chorizo a d mucho cheese.A perfect afternoon treat.

We came for dinner one evening and attempted to sit at the bar but the bar was pretty small and not able to accommodate everyone who wanted to sit. The rest of the restaurant at that time was completely empty but the happy hour was only at the bar. We ended up going to a happy hour at a nearby restaurant until our reservation was ready. When we finally came back for dinner, we were seated really quickly. This time the restaurant had more people. The tables are pretty small but the decor is nice. We started with the guac and chip. We were surprised how fast it came to the table. It came as soon as the waitress left the table, leading me to think it's not freshly made. However, it did take good. I had the steak quesadilla which was nicely cooked. I wish it came with sour cream and maybe a little pico de gallo. The hubs has shrimp tacos which he seemed to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant had a nice vibe and I would be willing to return.

Great service and ambiance but the food left much to be desired. Highlight of the night was the queso and churro sandwich. I ordered the churrasco and although cooked well, tasted like char! The sweet plantains weren't ripe enough and the churro should have been warmed. The rest of the table ordered tacos and they seemed pleased, but not wowed.

Henry gave nothing but great service went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. He made the best passionfruit margaritas ever. And the ambience was amazing. The nachos and Beria tacos were so delicious!!!!

Delicious Mexican food! My sister and mom took me for my birthday a few weeks back and everything was delicious. Cauliflower tacos were my favorite. Drinks and service were good as well. We were there for an early dinner but after a few minutes, the place was packed. The bar is beautiful as well as the decor. Next time I will try something new but definitely keep the cauliflower tacos. So good!

Ceviche Verde

We wanted to bar hop around Bay Shore tonight and make one of the stops Pecado. Their website shows 10pm closing time. We arrived at 8:45pm and were told they were closing shortly. We ordered two dishes and two drinks. Shortly after we sat at the bar, we watched them turn down 4 other groups of people looking to sit for dinner. If their closing time is 9pm, they should update their website. We have been to this restaurant before and enjoy their food. The ceviche verde was excellent and their polo en mole was flavorful, but we had to ask for water and tortilla chips (which we have always been given when sitting at the bar or table) and we felt like we did something wrong showing up at 8:45pm. Unfortunate experience tonight.

What a find! I did not anticipate for this restaurant to be so amazing. One of the best Mexican meals I have had in the US. Great food. Quality ingredients and an innovative take on the familiar dishes. A lovely selection of cocktails, beer and tequila. Sadly, a Truly limited wine selection, yet I did not mind. Clarified margarita with a black salt rim was a good choice. Note: Guacamole made to order far surpassed the one served at the Mission in AZ - though it could have used pepitas or pomegranate seeds for texture. Fish of the day ceviche verde was beautifully presented and even more delicious. Our main course - a signature dish - LA PARRILLADA - to be shared by 2-3 people. A sizzling skillet with a variety of protein and shrimp - along with all the trimmings. A very good choice, but I think next time - if given the opportunity - we would select several types of tacos. For dessert - churros - and probably my most favorite of all churros I had in the US. It says a lot since my children love churros and we had tried them in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, as well as many other places in Chicagoland area. We had them in California as well as Arizona, and other states. Long story short - it was a tasty and surprisingly light treat! And I mean, light. I would have never thought to find a gem of Mexican cuisine on Long Island. The only other Mexican place I am so fond of is Libertad in Skokie, IL - again, an unusual location. Note: high noise level - the place was packed before 5 pm, and the music was too loud to have an intimate conversation. The decor is not my cup of tea - modern, but not sleek, but nonetheless, the food is fantastic. Made my trip to Long Island even more special.

The restaurant is beautiful, warm, and inviting, with such a lovely atmosphere. It's located in a charming downtown area filled with restaurants and shopping, but Bayberry was exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the lemon blueberry Dutch baby, and oh my goodness, it was AMAZING! Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the chicken club, while our boys ordered chicken tenders from the kids' menu. Speaking of the kids' menu, how adorable is this?! It was presented as a sail on a little wooden sailboat! Such a thoughtful and creative touch. The kids' portions were just right, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was beautifully maintained, and even the bathrooms were gorgeous! Another plus was the ample street parking, which made our visit that much easier. Bayberry checked all the boxes for us: delicious food, beautiful ambiance, great service, and a family-friendly experience without sacrificing a more elevated dining atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend and happily return!

The place is very nicely decorated and exudes an upscale but unpretentious vibe. I ordered a glass of the pinot noir which was tasty and at $6 a nice bargain. I got the chickpea fries and was surprised by the texture. It was almost custard like with a slight chickpea flavor in a very light breading. Served with the harissa aioli it made for a nice app. After a while I decided to try the Filet mignon sliders, which I ordered medium rare, the bartender said they don't usually take a temp on those but he'd note it. The meat is sliced very thin but was tender and still had a bit of red. The arugula gave it a nice peppery bite. My only critic is the slider roll was very cottony, but the overall taste was very good. I'll definitely be back and will try something off the regular menu.

Probably one of the best French Dips around! Oh I gotta mention the thick crinkle cut chips! So many places fumble by putting just any commercially available fries or starch on the side of the plate. Better late than never with this backdated review--life has just been lifing!…read moreI finally made it to Artemis on July 22nd after fiending to go since January. There's actually a hilarious story behind why I went. I was originally supposed to have a date that night, but let's be real: you'd think a 61-year-old man would know better than to take a 47-year-old woman to Dave & Buster's. I canceled the night before, dolled myself up the day of, and decided to take myself out instead. Best decision ever. The joint is dimly lit. But your eyes wind up adjusting. It's got a great vibe. Definitely excellent for a date night. The bartenders here are absolute rockstars. I started with a Painkiller. Even though it's no longer on the menu, they whipped it up for me anyway--and hey, it definitely relieved my pain, lol! Next, I tried a Corpse Reviver just because it had absinthe in it. It was different, but I really enjoyed it. Naturally, I had to finish with my signature drink, a Cosmopolitan, because I am the Black Carrie Bradshaw of Long Island. And it did not disappoint. The eats: I got the charcuterie board--fancy and bougie, just like me--and wrapped up the night with the brownie à la mode for dessert. Drowning my troubles in sweets is a must when the Long Island dating pool is an absolute wasteland, lmao. Did I want to spend my night around teenagers, kids, and skee-ball? HELL NO! I wanted a grown-and-sexy speakeasy vibe, and Artemis delivered. 5/5 stars--would 100% recommend!

The meal was expensive, but you're not just paying for the meal; you're paying for the atmosphere. We had a loaf of sour-bread focaccia, 2 orders of shrimp, 2 orders of deviled eggs and 4 drinks for which I paid just under two hundred dollars. I knew it would be expensive, but I thought it would be worth it. I don't think it was!
